I might be thinking about the Magnus protocol too much but my phone isn't helping when it glitches while in a translation app and types out, without outside interference, a Chinese phrase(用眼) that according to the translation app meant "with eyes" (it actually means "using eyes") repeatedly until I looked at it and it stopped???

immediately thought about tma:p (hoping that's the right abbreviation)

Thursday grey and damp, we sought covered spaces to avoid the worst showers. From a rainy Eastgate Street, we sheltered in The Grosvenor Shopping Centre to be diverted by TK Maxx and Castle Fine Art’s window, featuring mediocre efforts by Bob Dylan and Billy Connolly. Fraser, Year 27

For the second year in a row, this was my most dreaded household and these two were the main reason why. Multiples are so tough in such a small, broke household. I was fully expecting everyone to be miserable all day.

As the eldest of the Fraser children and the only one able to actually do anything productive, Ozzy decided to dig around for treasure in the yard, hoping to help his parents make a bit of extra money. He was pretty lucky too, earning somewhere between 150 and 250 simoleons from some kind of fossil or bone.

The Goran-Bells live nearby and today the two eldest teens decided to drop by for a visit. First Skyler came over to hang out, and Trixie was quick to follow. She would never pass up an opportunity to be the main character of the story.

Ozzy was significantly younger than Skyler and quite a bit younger than Trixie, but he still got along well with both of them. In fact, he was one of many Sims to have chemistry with Trixie... and we all know how she feels about appropriately younger teenage boys.

While Ozzy was having a good time for once and making friends, Rue was trying to get Atticus to learn some toddler skills... unsuccessfully. Unfortunately, he was in a miserable mood and completely uncooperative.

The twins aged up and they're the spitting image of each other! They also happen to share a Zodiac: Aquarius. They're both very nice and playful, but Alma is just a little more playful. On the other hand, Chester is a bit neater while Alma would probably be a bit more on the sloppy side.

His six points in neatness weren't doing him any favors. Rue and Ozzy ended up spending most of the evening carrying the three toddlers back inside the house as they kept wanting to go out in the storm to play in puddles. They couldn't help it, it was their only source of entertainment in such a small, boring house.

Finally, Lincoln was home from his night shift, having earned enough money to buy a stove for his family. Now they were broke all over again and looking forward to more struggles next year. Yay.

S8E12 "The Way It Is" is such a good Matt/Chester episode, in spite of the plot trying to push Matt/Kitty. Chester constantly citing his loyalty to Matt—he does this two or three times, verbatim stating, "out of my loyalty to Mr. Dillon." Emphasizing he's upset that Kitty is rude to Matt, but, "I'd be willing to turn the other cheek"—as if that's something he should need to say about Kitty, one of his best friends, when she's rightfully feeling jilted. Near tears when he tells Doc that he's torn on how to tell Matt that Kitty has a new beau. Quietly going to eat alone in contemplation sooner than causing a row. Running to the stage to greet Matt and immediately telling him how good he looks.

It's a shame we didn't get a follow-up scene between them, though the scene with Matt and Kitty at the end is obviously more significant to the plot.

A True Artist's Touch...

Gets Kei and Chester to sleep and continues to work on finishing up this year's Harvestfest feast. With a flick of his wrist, Roger puts on a show, giving curious Kalia a front row seat! Not growing up in the same household, he's glad to be able to get in that one-on-one time with his baby sister, all while the rest of the family finishes getting dressed for their evening together.
