He'd nearly though he misheard when words reached his ears in his study that his household was currently hosting guests. Bhaltair had nearly believed he himself had forgotten an engagement that he had planned, and so his shock had yet to end when the servant then informed him that his son was the one hosting guests. The boy never hosted. He went when invited, yes, and kept up appearances with his peers as a noble should, but he had never taken a particular interest in any to invite them over to tea.

From behind the expressionless mask, Bhaltair gazed at the servant. "And what guests honor our halls on this day?"

The recently arrived pair of twins, hm? They had certainly made quite a splash among the Unseelie nobles from what he heard, if only by the fact that the two claimed to be twins. They couldn't lie, so he supposed there must be some merit in their words. He had yet to personally lay eyes on the two to himself, and in truth the only thing he knew about them was that the blasted Consort of the Gloaming had volunteered to host them. An odd move, certainly, and one he'd been wracking his head about. Perhaps meeting these guests for himself might enlighten him as to that irritant's interest in them.

Bhaltair strode down the hallway leading to the sitting room, and, without preamble, pressed open the door to step inside. An elegant tea set sat on a table surrounded by a variety of prepared snacks and treats. Servants stood nearby, ready to assist with whatever the guests needed. Seated on one of the chairs was his son, looking interestingly displeased. And as for the twins...

Only a lifetime of living in the Unseelie court surrounded by its politics and snakes kept Lord Rathais' gait smooth as he laid eyes on the two guests seated beside each other on the sofa. The resemblance was impossible to miss, the boy looked like a near replica of his own son when he was younger, a fact that stood out so clearly to the man only because his heir himself shared his father's face. And the girl... she favored the Consort.

They...

"Honored guests." Bhaltair's smile was audible behind the mask as he approached. "I heard House Rathais was hosting visitors from afar, and as the head of the household I felt it only right to greet you both myself."

How old were they? Certainly not too old. When? It didn't matter.

"Father," Mhoirbheinn rose as he greeted him. There was nary a flicker of emotion in the other's face, but Bhaltair knew how to easily read the boy. The flicker in his eyes denoted surprise at the man's appearance.

All that mattered was that they had fallen right into his lap, a near blessing. How fortuitous.

"I won't linger long." Instead of replying, Bhaltair inclined his head towards the twins with a pleasant smile audible in his voice. "I only wished to share my greetings and welcome you to Unseelie. I have work to attend to, but I look forward to our paths crossing once more."

He felt his son's eyes fixed on his back as he departed from the room.

Brienne isn’t from the heart kingdom, she is actually a siren from eradicated Card sea kingdom “Tarot”.

It was a place Equivalent to France; back then, her name was Yvette. She was a knight and singer, much like her people.

Brienne is a singer that resides in the heart kingdom these days.

It is unknown who or what destroyed her kingdom and her people.

Although she tried her best she couldn't protect her people...

The Tarot kingdom had fallen along with its people and Yvette fled to a new kingdom with a new life.

Back in her homeland Brienne had a sister named Brittany, who often danced and sang with her in the shows she did, but nowadays, she plays solo.

Brienne now, has a wall that kept people from getting too close to her.

She didn't mind closing off many people, even if they never deserved it.

But she was done letting people alone beyond her best friend YOU.

Maybe...she did opened up to people Once upon a time.

Brienne was a knight for her princess, who she opened up to often.

They were really close.

However, she failed to save her kingdom...she truly loved her princess.

On that day, she was broken, her heart and mind.

Her eyes were so dark and empty with anger.

Those who knew Brienne before the fallen sea kingdom, she was the wild card, fun, loving, caring, joyful, and loved to party, much like her people.

She was a symbol of freedom as she once swam wild in the sea.

But now, she was gloomy, rebellious, annoyed, and closed off.

In the heart kingdom, she entertains the King and his court or the people of the kingdom.

While everyone enjoyed her shows, despite how dark her songs may be.

The King, Wally, was infatuated with her, amazed, memorized, and couldn't help but be lured by her darkness.

Brienne may have been on good terms with people in general; she was not friends with the King or his court.

Brienne knows the REAL truth; they're murderers who destroyed kingdoms and their rulers.

Expected from a selfish ruler, much like King Wally.

Although, she doesn't hate or despise them.

Brienne just doesn't approve of their judgment or acts.

While The King sees her as an angel from heaven, Brienne sees him as a selfish brat.

She only tolerates Wally because he reminds her of a red-haired boy she saved from the sea.

Brienne does look down on Wally and his court as she doesn't respect their morals, and although Wally tries to impress her.

It all fails.

It would seem The King grew a crush on the siren singer, but she does not require that love back.

At least not as of now....

King Wally & Brienne's relationship is close "friends to lovers" but in an untrusting way on Brienne's part.

It's like Ariel and Eric's relationship, but it's the opposite with King Wally falling in love with the siren.

While it is true, Brienne saved Prince Wally as a child; she doesn't recognize him as it was many years ago.

Fun fact: The Tarot card sea kingdom was part of the chaos fraction.

The sirens were wild card and party animals and free.

They did killed sailors, but there was one who was against it and refused to do harm and evil.

Yvette.

The Princess of The Tarot Kingdom, was infatuated by Yvette's rebellious nature and her optimistic and kindness ;)

OHHHH.... 👀 Oh now this is fun to think about, hehehe. OKAY, SO!!! I like the thought of him having a medieval-like design if Shuichi were a magical knight! His armor would be a mix of grayish-black and pale gold colors, and he'd pair it with a green hooded cloak. I imagine he would be a high ranking or at least one of the most skilled knights, so his design would stand out from the regular ones.... His armor design would look something a combination of this outfit on Link:

!!!!! And his shield would also have a very similar design to the Hylian one, too, hehe: of course, the design would instead be the emblem of the kingdom he'd serve. As for his sword, he'd have something like a longsword. Maybe a sword with a forest-like design of greens and browns, embedded with wind powers!! I don't know, I just like him having wind powers in fantasy settings~!
