KemonoQ is a dungeon crawler focused around equippable passive and powerful active effects. This is KemonoQ's revamped demo, developed based on feedback we got back during its initial concept demo release .
Since then a lot has changed!
v1.1 is a very special milestone for us, as this version brings KemonoQ closer to our ideal vision of the game and is the base upon which we will develop the rest of the game!
Changelog since concept demo release:
Revamped combat and exploration mechanics, character skills, effects & Artifacts.
New tilesets, enemy battlers, skill animations and art!
Numerous bug fixes both for combat and dungeon exploration
Essentially an improved experience built upon the concept demo released almost a year ago.

A new KemonoQ demo is coming!
New content, polished mechanics and an improved storyline, KemonoQ will be getting a new demo soon!
Today we would like to go over the improvements we have made since the last public version!
KemonoQ now runs at a much larger resolution! 1280*800 to be precise, allowing for less cramped rooms and better spacing in the UI and texts!
Enemies have been redrawn entirely, gone are the upscaled sprited monsters the concept demo featured!
Likewise, the general navigation and feel of the UI has been improved to reflect the flow of battle better!
General mechanics have also received major changes! We have gotten rid of innate character skills to place a higher focus on regular attacks, the use of effects and artifacts. We will have a more indepth post regarding all this changes later on!
Waypoint checkpoints have been implemented in dungeons for ease of navigation!
Various effects and artifacts have been fixed and rebalanced, matching the changes done to the core gameplay KemonoQ featured, and outright fixing bugs many of them had in the concept demo!
Also In the visual department, we have brand new original attack animations more characteristic of our characters!
And as mentioned earlier, major changes were made to the overall plot, with new characters added in, and various concepts reworked!
Overall we are super excited to release this new version, hope you look forward to it to! Thanks for keeping an eye out for this development blog, and thanks for playing the first concept demo!
In coming days we will go more indepth with the changes made to the core gameplay mechanics, the new art, lore and overall development!

WIP - Title Menu
Hey guys! Today I decided to show you how the title menu of “Lenin - The Lion” is so far. There are some animations on this screen - but I didn’t want to make a GIF now, so that in the demo you can see the final result (which will still have a few changes).
Also, as the game progresses and the story unfolds, I plan for some minor modifications to take place visually in the environment (so if you didn’t read this post you'll gradually realize it). These last few weeks have taken me a lot of time with university projects, so my publication frequency tends to decrease (but EVERY day I do something for Lenin, even if it's a dialogue, set up a scenario or include a new event).
Another issue that has taken me some time is fundraising (not for the game necessarily, but to live haha), so if you don’t like Patreon but would like to request some work, for example, send me an inbox and we can talk about comissions! When will the full game be released?
Spring 2019!
How long is the demo?
The demo should last an average of 1 hour, though maybe more! It covers the start of the game and the first floor of the Labyrinth in its entirety!
Some fights are too hard.
Every boss can be defeated! Grinding isn't necessary in KemonoQ! Try out different Effect & Artifact combinations if a fight feels too hard!
*insert effect/artifact/mechanic/map here* is bugged.
Please let us know of any bugs and we will fix them! both for the demo and the eventual full release!
