Ruki and Kou sat opposite each other with their microphones in front of their faces. Ruki had prepared and researched for this podcast session for weeks and now he was finally ready to make an insightful point about the true nature of men and women and their roles in society.

He had invited Kou to his podcast for support, not that he needed support. That kind of thing was for the emotionally weak, in other words women.

This was also part of Ruki's business strategy. Kou was a popular and famous idol and his presence would surely ensure that his podcast would become influential, successful and famous in a matter of days with the maximum amount of views. It would be an instant hit.

Everthing was planned strategically. Ruki was ready to finally reveal the truth.

"Heya! This is your beloved idol, Kou Mukami, here with my brother Ruki Mukami. This is the podcast that you have all waited for with bated breaths and it wil talk about gender roles in today's modern society and much more. So Ruki, what is your view on the modern society and the gender roles of men and women?"

"There is, of course, much that is needed to be said Kou, however I will start by reciting this insightful quote by a well respected philosopher, Aristotle, that pretty much sums up most of the matter. "..it is naturally with the male and the female; the one is superior, the other inferior; the one governs,the other is governed; and the same rule must necessarily hold good with respect to all mankind." I would also add something to this, women are naturally inferior to men, they are like livestock to us, we as the physically stronger and thus more dominant and superior sex have more power while women have none. This clearly shows us that the modern view that both genders deserve to be equal is illogical and does not take into account human nature. Women are born to be slaves to us and serve us as Livestock. As they are the inferior beings."

"FACTS," Kou replied enthusiastically. Then for good measure, said it again,"FACTS!"

As Kou says this, Kou's PR team stare with horror and facepalm themselves.

"Yes. It is indeed a fact. Women have proven themselves as more emotional and also logically and morally weak. They cannot be trusted to govern themselves and it is a dangerous notion to be giving them this choice in the first place. They are untrustworthy, deceitful and manipulative. That is their nature. Thus it is the responsibility of you as a man to be her master. To own and govern her."

"PERIOD."Kou said with determination.

"Yes, and to further solidify my point I would like to state that men are also much better off without women. Men do not need to waste their time chasing after these livestock. Livestock will come to us by themselves as they need us to survive and we do not need them at all. I, for one, have not chased a woman in over a decade and now every woman I see around me constantly tries to gain my attention. Whenever I go outside all I see are women that wear revealing clothing to get my attention however I have ignored them as I am far happier all alone by myself. It is, of course, a personal choice."

The author highly doubts that statement.

"So true, Ruki." Kou replies, nodding his head vigorously.

Kou's PR team facepalm themselves harder.

Kou and Ruki release the podcast which Ruki undoubtedly knows will be a hit and sell well. After all, who wouldn't want to know the truth.

A few days afterwards Ruki and Kou find out that the podcast sales have dropped to zero. Literally ZERO. Ruki feels shocked at the news. How?

And not only that but him and Kou had received extreme backlash for 'misogyny and sexism' as well as 'incel behaviour'. A popular comment on social media called Ruki 'b*tchless' and the podcast 'an insult to intelligence'.

Kou was having a mental breakdown because his public reputation had gotten a major hit with a lot of disappointed and angry fangirls. His PR team worked overtime for damage control.

Ruki felt extremely humiliated but he tried to hide it. He also couldn't believe that people had found out his secret. It is safe to say that he didn't try to reveal any of his 'controversial' opinions again.

What would it be like waking up with Shu, Reiji, or Ruki?

Under the cut because my writing is long and I might be mildly suggestive but nothing explicit!

Shu

I imagine waking with Shu would feel like a Saturday morning in Winter, where the heating is on and your bed is so warm and outside it's a cool snowy light.

Rolling over and feeling the slight chill of the vampire, his chest cool but the arm you slept on warmed by your body heat.

I think Shu, as a more subtle romantic, would enjoy like sleeping naked or at least shirtless with you. While throwing perverted comments around to deflect from showing his true sappy side, yet never actually going further then running his fingers along your spine as he holds you against himself slowly heating up.

Hearing him deeply inhale and stir as he feels your movement, eyes opening slightly and smiling before nuzzling between the pillows and your hair. A grumble of protest at having been disturbed.

If it is a weekend or holiday you give in easily resettling into the peaceful feeling of simple having skin contact with someone so intimately. Shu lifting the covers to cover you more as goosebumps cover your body slightly due to his lower body temperature.

A personal head cannon is that after you began to have an actual close relationship he would have servants bring hot water bottles to your room close to bed so you didn't have to be as effected by his chill. However by morning the once warm devices are now useless, yet he's less cold after a night of having you next to him.

Eventually you may try coax him awake. As he hides himself against your neck, feeling him voice complaints in a gravelly morning voice against your skin.

"My princess is so pushy, just rest order the servants to do the stupid errands. They're yours now."

Reiji

Reiji could go one of two ways depending on the day. A busy day or a holiday. Either way I think his room would feel fresh but still warm to wake in.

On the average day Reiji wakes you either accidentally as he gets dressed and ready for the day, or with a drink and some breakfast delivered personally to your room. He claims it's to prevent your morning mood effecting the household but it is actually to just keep you to himself a moment longer even if it's while you're both busy preparing for a long day ahead.

He runs his fingers through your hair to wake you, slowly massaging your scalp. You'd be surprised that it doesn't put you deeper asleep.

On the rare days he doesn't feel the need to wake as early he's sensual and soft. Rare for someone as prim and proper as him.

It's canon from the sleeping with a vampire audios that Reiji wears silk pajamas and bed sheets with high quality mattresses. I see him ordering you matching pajamas and night dresses in similar designs to his and he secretly waits until you get yours on before changing. He refused to admit when he's sweet. He melts when you sleep in his shirt after nightly romps in the sheets.

Ever the leading partner, you wake up being spooned by him either facing him or with you back against his chest and his face buried in your hair. You used to worry about it irritating him at first until one night you felt him nuzzle against it intentionally as he smelt the shampoo you had recently used.

Like Shu I feel he would do things to motivate the temperature difference. However maybe an electric blanket or a potion that will last the entire night.

Deepest as morning voice, grainy too completely unlike his firm even tone when awake. It's a personal side only you see. And forget Shu being the lazy one when Reiji has the time to sleep in with you. The man is begging for 5 more minutes.

"My love, stay...hm? Need a drink? I left one on the nightstand. ... You can't reach it?... Cruel woman treating your lover like this."

Ruki

Ruki's room must smell like candles and new books. A nice toasty feeling to wake to.

Clingy is the best way to describe how I feel he sleeps. So scared you may slip through his fingers or leave like others before, Ruki holds you close as you sleep.

I imagine he sleeps on his stomach due to having to sleep like that for so long after he initially got the scars on his back. His arm around your waist and head turned to rest abobe your shoulder.

The exception being when he reads a book to help you sleep. You lay, head against his chest or in his lap as he sits against a pile of pillows. You wake to his head against yours and the book left open on his lap as his arms encircle you.

Ever the slight sadist, on days you need to be up faster he might lightly pinch your sides to wake you. Chuckling as you squirm and complain at the rude awakening. Kissing you forehead in apology.

During nights where he has particularly bad nightmares you may have to wake him. Holding him against your chest and brushing through his hair as you comfort him best you can. You don't know when you both nod back off but you wake the next day to him still there resting more peaceful than ever. That being said night terrors have decreased drastically since you began to share a bed.

After you both wake up properly he holds you in his lap as you discuss your plans for the day. He takes his time laying kisses along your shoulders and down your sternum, a personal good luck ritual that makes the day a little easier to begin.

"Hm... where do you think your going? I assume like me you don't want to leave my side yet. Especially with those fingers tracing along my body. How shameless."

Let's just say: Shu doesn't mind it

It's rather amusing to him whenever you reach for his hand, hug him, try to kiss him and so on

It really is just an opening for teasing you about it

He rarely anitiates PDA himself, maybe when you're feeling down or it's a special occasion

Shu prefers laying down to cuddle, but since that's not that possible when you're out he has to wait until you're home

And in 8/10 times, you won't be able to escape your boyfriend's grasp

Reiji isn't really a fan of PDA

He doesn't mind touching you while others can see it, he actually finds it exciting in a way, but he finds it rather inaproppriate in many cases

Hooking arms and holding hands is absolutely okay tho

But for everything else, you better wait for him to initiate it or ask him. He doesn't like being touched out of a sudden

Ayato will get pissed if you push him away, PDA is a way of showing off who you belong to. So pushing him away is a way of saying you don't want others to know or worse- not wanting to be with him

Either way, Ayato will make sure he gets what he wants, so you better change your mind about PDA quick if you don't like it

He doesn't mind any form of affection in public. Bruh, he'd do anything with you in public, as long as he's the only one who sees you- that being your body and expression

Ruki Mukami

One little disagreement, if you can even call it that because you were clearly in the wrong, and this is what you do? Ruki wasn't surprised; he had seen this kind of behavior from humans before. He had watched as they made irrational decisions and acted out of spite, often with little consideration for the consequences.

Ruki had been around long enough to understand your motivations.

He knew you didn't like the guy you agreed to go on the date with, and you only did it to get back at him. But in the end, it was just another example of how you didn't understand your place in the world.

As livestock, you were nothing more than a meal ticket that could be discarded at any time. Ruki had hoped that after spending time with the Mukami family, you would have learned that lesson. But it seemed that you still felt too welcomed and didn't understand the true nature of your existence.

He couldn't completely blame you, though. Ruki knew that he was partly responsible for your behavior. He had grown a soft spot for you, although he couldn't pinpoint when it had happened. He found that you had become more tolerable once he had taught you how to behave properly. The Sakamaki brothers hadn't done a very good job in that regard.

But now, as you approached him with a hurried excuse and missed the heated glare he sent back towards the school, Ruki realized that he needed to remind you of your place once again.

Upon entering the mansion, Ruki wasted no time in barking orders to his brothers and cornering you against the front door by your throat. His eyes burned into yours with a heated glare as he spoke, his voice low and dangerous. "Did you really think I wouldn't hear the rumors? I don't know what I dislike more, the fact that you're a filthy whore or that you thought you wouldn't be punished.”

As Ruki's grip on your throat tightened, you gasped for air, feeling your heart pounding in your chest, “Don’t bother lying. You can use your filthy tongue for something else. On your knees.”

You wanted to protest, to tell him that you couldn't do it, that it was too degrading, but the fear in his eyes made it clear that he wouldn't accept anything less than complete obedience.

Kou Mukami

Kou loved to playfully tease you and watch as you blushed and pouted in response. He found it amusing and endearing how easily flustered you became around him. In his mind, your relationship was something unique and special compared to the bland and superficial interactions you had with others, especially the Sakamaki brothers.

Simply being around you brought him an unexpected sense of joy. However, that pleasant feeling quickly dissipated when he overheard your name being mentioned at a nearby table in the lunchroom.

As far as Kou knew, only two families were close enough to you to speak about you. The fact that this group of guys were discussing something that didn't belong to them left a bitter taste in his mouth. He couldn't help but wonder what they were up to.

Putting on a fake smile, Kou excused himself from the girls and walked over to the table where the guys were sitting. "Hey, I overheard you guys talking about Yui," he casually brought up. "She's cute, isn't she?"

One of the boys, whose name Kou couldn't even be bothered to remember, grinned up at him proudly. "You bet she is, and I scored a date with her," he boasted. The comment earned cheers from around the table, but Kou couldn't believe it.

How could you be dating him when she wasn’t his to begin with? He wasn't even worth looking at. He had nothing on Kou. Nothing. "Really?" Kou asked, trying to sound congratulatory. He quickly left the table after, walked past his fan group, and went to look for you.

It didn’t long to find you, walking around the hall carrying a heavy box. You didn’t notice him until the box is snatched out your hand and Kou is smiling at you innocently, “Let me help with that. Where to?”

"Kou… the supply closet." You told him, holding up the key.

His smile widened, pleased with how the situation was unfolding. Although he hadn't planned on being alone with you right off of meeting, he was determined to make the most of it. The perfect opportunity fell right into his hands. Kou grabbed your wrist and practically dragged you to the closet, where he snatched the key from you to unlock the door.

Once inside, Kou looked around and said, "I can't seem to find where to put it," as he set the box down on the floor.

"I'll help," you offered, walking towards the box. Suddenly, your face was slammed into the wall, causing you to yelp in pain. Kou had a death grip on your hair, his body pressed against your back, and he leaned down towards your neck.

"M Neko-chan, you're so mean," Kou hissed, pressing down harder on your head and tilting it further. "One little fight and you go running to another man. If you wanted to be treated like a slut, all you had to do was ask," he snarled, biting down hard on your neck and tearing the skin, blood gushing on your clothes, the wall and him.

He pulled away, "I'll make you unrecognizable, M Neko-chan. The next time you try to run away, you won't even know who you are," Kou threatened, “but I’m sure you’ll like that, wouldn’t you?” His other hand slipped under your shirt, traveling up your back to the front, “Of course you would.”

Azuma Mukami

Azusa had a penchant for physical pain, more so than the average person, but this time he deeply regretted his actions. Emotional pain was never his intention.

He would have apologized in a heartbeat if you hadn't stormed away. The feeling of guilt crept up on him like a slimy worm, and he punished himself for what he had done.

He knew he was in the wrong and deserved to be punished. You were right; you should be punishing him right now. But no amount of self-punishment could alleviate the feeling of regret that plagued him.

As he sat at the dinner table, Kou brought up a rumor he had heard at school that day. Usually, Azusa paid little attention to rumors, but this one was about you, and he quickly became attentive. His stomach turned uncontrollably as he looked across the table at you, who didn't return his gaze.

“Supposedly, she accepted a date from someone but that can’t be right, hm, M Neko-chan?”

Kou's words stung as he spoke them, his smirk betraying his cruel intentions. Azusa sat at the table, his eyes cast down to his plate, visibly trembling in disbelief. He knew that this was just one fight of many, but he never expected it to drive you away like this. He was hurt, and it was the worst kind of hurt.

Without a word, Azusa got up from the table and retreated to his room. You felt guilty, knowing that you were the cause of his pain. You asked Ruki if you could be excused, and he noticed Azusa's behavior and allowed it. You made your way to Azusa's door and knocked, watching as it opened slightly on its own.

As you entered, you saw Azusa standing in front of his knife display, picking one out. He heard you come in and turned to you with a sad smile.

"I...don't like...that kind of...pain," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. He looked down in thought, then raised the knife and sliced his arm. "This is...the best…kind," he continued. "I hurt you...but…you didn't...like that...so you clearly...like mine."

You felt your heart break as you watched watch him walk over to you, smiling innocent, because what he was about to do was something he truly believed you wanted.

To be happy, right?

Yuma Mukami

Yuma knew he had a problem with his temper, but he didn't care. He felt like people were just too sensitive and couldn't handle the truth. And you, you knew this about him, yet you still pushed his buttons. It was almost like you hadn't learned anything from living in the Sakamaki and Mukami mansions. You were still in denial about your worth and the fact that you had no choice in your circumstances.

So when Yuma finally lost it and bit you, it was no surprise to him. But what annoyed him was how you stormed off, looking sad. He had to fight the urge to chase after you and comfort you, even though he knew he had hurt you. The guilt that came with that feeling was infuriating to him.

He couldn't help but think, "Fuck you." He wouldn't be feeling this way if it weren't for you. He would much rather figure out his own life than constantly worry about how you fit into it. You drove him crazy and he wanted you to leave, but he knew that he would hunt you down if you did.

And now, he was seeking you out, not because he missed your dumb face, but because he had heard a rumor that had his blood boiling. There was no way you could be that gullible and stupid to accept a date from some half-assed dude. But then again, it sounded exactly like something you would do.

Yuma couldn't wait to clear the air with you, but his anger was palpable. He saw red at the possibility of the rumor being true. When he finally got his hands on you, he hoped the rumor was just that - a rumor. Otherwise, he might just do something he would regret.

He spotted you talking to someone. His stomach dropped as he realized it could be the same guy he had heard rumors about. What the hell was wrong with you? Did you not understand the severity of your situation?

He waited until the guy had walked away before approaching you, his fists clenched at his sides. Without a word, he grabbed you, throwing you over his shoulders and dragged you into the closest empty classroom. Once inside, he slammed you against the wall, his hand around your throat and the other pressed against the wall beside your head. His eyes blazed with rage as he looked down at you.

"You must be a fucking idiot, sow, to really think that would work," he sneered. "I mean, you only made your situation worse."

You tried to speak, but he silenced you by slamming his hand against the wall beside your head. You whimpered in fear as he tightened his grip around your throat.

"You can't leave, sow," he spat, his voice low and menacing. "The only way you leave is if you're dead." With that, he sank his teeth into your neck, eliciting a scream from your lips. He covered your mouth with his hand to stifle the sound.

You were walking down the stairs at school when you twisted your ankle at the last step. "Ow..sh- wait.. Ruki I think I twisted it.." Ruki stopped and looked at you with his piercing glare, "Really livestock... you can't even go down the stairs?" You blushed in embarrassment, "I'm sorry-" Ruki cut you off. "If you want my help, then you should ask your master for it, right?" Your whole face turned red and the pain in your ankle was suddenly not on your mind at the moment. You tried to answer, but your flusteredness was affecting your speech. "Well livestock?" Looking at the floor, you quietly said "Please help me m-master..." A sly smirk crossed his face as he effortlessly picked you up and headed to the limo. You were extremely flushed from the looks you were getting from the others.

It was lunchtime at school, and Kou had his entourage around him as usual. You kept your distance because they had some weird claim over him. Anyways, as you were walking past his table, one of them tripped you, causing you to fall on the floor covered in your lunch. Panic filled your body when you realized you couldn't get back up. Pushing his fangirls away, Kou arose and had fake worry written his face. "Oh no~ my poor little kitten! Are you okay?" Your face twisted in pain as you looked at your swollen ankle, "Y-yeah.. I think I just twisted it.." Kou let his mask drop a little before picking you up like you weighed nothing. "I'll be back, my little kittens! I have to get the clumsy cutie to the nurses' office!" As he was walking away, you looked over his shoulder at the disappointed girls starting up random gossip. He was humming softly as he carried you through the corridor to the nurses' room. "Kou, you didn't have to do that..." Placing you on the little gray table, he laughed, "Oh, don't worry, little maso-kitty~ I'll make sure you repay me~" You noticed his sweet smile turned to a sadistic one as he leaned in and bit your shoulder.

Helping Yuma in his garden was something you did regularly. Whether that'd be watering the plants, pruning the leaves, or digging holes; you still loved helping all the same. On rare occasions, he'd even reward you for your hard work. However, this particular time, your clumsiness got the best of you when you tripped over a pot in his green house. You hesitantly called out Yuma's name to no avail... so you did the next best thing. Crawled. You crawled all the way to the middle of the garden and stopped to take a breather. You looked over and saw Yuma's polished shoe in front of you. Trailing your gaze upward, you saw Yuma looking down at you with the biggest grin on his face as he popped another sugar cube in his mouth. "Poor little piggy... I heard you sqeaul earlier hehe.. what happened?" You embarrassingly fiddled with a leaf on the ground before mumbling out how you tripped over a pot. That sent him over the edge. He started laughing so hard at you that he nearly choked on a cube he had in his mouth. "Shit, little pig, how weak and stupid are you? Hahahaha-" You knew not to let his words get to you, but for some reason, they did sting this time.. "C-can you just help me out, please..." This wasn't good... you felt tears pricking at your cheeks, and the last thing you wanted to do was cry in front of him. Yuma stopped when he heard your quiet sniffle. He knealed down and placed his cool hand on your face, lifting it up to look at him. He had an amused smirk written on his face as he wiped off one of your tears. "I almost feel sorry for you, piggy. Say ahhh~" You were humiliated, but you did what he said nonetheless. He popped a sugar cube in your mouth before leaning in and giving you a kiss. The sugar cube melted between the heat of your kiss. He pulled away and then picked you up. "Consider that a reward for calling for your master to help you~ Now let's get you all fixed up."

Azusa was practically glued to you, and you didn't really mind... until you tripped over his foot from him being too close on the stairs. Falling down at least six steps, you landed directly on your leg and heard the most sicking crack ring through the silence. You immediately let out the most blood-curdling scream as you held your leg. Azusa looked down and saw your swollen leg. He ran his hand over it, "Wow. .. eve... it's burning... up..." You whimpered slightly at his touch, "Azu.. can you help me please -" It felt hard to breathe from the pain of your fall; the muscles in your leg were on fire. "Of course... eve.. any... thing for you..." Surprisingly, he was able to pick you up and carry you to Ruki's room so they could take you to the hospital. "Eve...? Do you... think you can hurt me.. like that... too?" He looked down at your face with puppy dog eyes only to see you passed out from the pain. Turns out you broke your leg in 3 places. Incredible.

Ruki : The day progressed as usual after the morning came like the sun to the five met for breakfast. It reassured him to know that Y/n was safe. She was safe near his brothers. But he knew that she was safest with him. His gaze went from her and back to his food. But everything seemed fine, and the talk of his brothers and the laughter that arose made him smile. But like infinite life, the day slowly faded and night came again. The sun withdrew with its warmth and light and the moon came out. Ruki was in his room, he took off his gray jacket and the black shirt covered his upper body. It covered what was left of his humanity. When he was still mortal. When he was still an innocent child. In deep thought he had taken off the black shirt and now stood shirtless in his room. His otherwise always so collected thoughts circled around his painful past. ,, Ruki" a voice tore him out of his thoughts and he turned around to his now open door in which a surprised Y/n was standing. She saw it, there was no doubt that she had seen his scars. ,, Get out of the room!" he shouted at her and at the same time he could have shouted at himself. He saw the uncertain look and heard the fast heartbeat. She cried after she left his room. Nothing was easy in an infinite life, especially not when feelings would always accompany you.

Her crying was audible to the others as well, the eldest knew. Of course, his brothers asked him what was going on, but he just brushed them off. He had her in a vulnerable moment of his own. He knocked on her door and received a soft ,,Come in". With each sad beat of her heart, he felt bad. Carefully he sat down next to her on her bed. She wiped away her tears and looked at the floor. ,, I should have knocked," she said and he felt anger at himself. ,, No, I should have heard you. It's not your fault," he began and his cool hand carefully rested on her own warm one. ,, I was thinking that I...felt hurt, not many people know about the scars. But please forgive me, I shouldn't have shouted," he said. When he didn't get an answer he was about to pull his hand away when suddenly he felt her holding him. ,, I forgive you Ruki" she said and a slight smile played around her lips. Something that made him feel calm that she had forgiven him. ,, Come with me," he said suddenly and took her by the hand before they went to his room.

He took a book from his collection and sat down on the couch. She understood and sat down next to him. He began to read to her from the book and he noticed how her heartbeat became calmer. ,, Thank you for forgiving me," he said quietly, interrupting the reading briefly. She nodded before he suddenly felt her leaning against him slightly. He continued to read to her and soon she was asleep.

It was quiet and yet the fact that she had forgiven him was what gave him hope. The hope that infinity was not painful.

Kou : The blond second eldest was in the kitchen, preparing his lunch. Spagetthie Vongole. Something he had been looking forward to all along. He had made it his personal mission to make it for his brothers and their families. The pasta was boiling in the water and he didn't need much more when he heard something. At first he thought he had misheard. At first, Kou thought it was Azusa, but his younger brother didn't cry when he turned to his knives. When he heard another sniffle, he left the food and went to the source of the sound. He found himself in front of the house where he found Y/n outside. ,, Y/n-chan, what are you doing?" he asked with a smile when he saw her. She turned around and the sweet smell of her blood reached him. Sweet and irresistible, yet it was tainted with her crying expression. ,, Everything well " she shrugged off and wanted to pass him by. ,, Not so fast," he held her by the arm. ,, That was an obvious lie...you'll have to give me something" he purred and without using his eye. ,, Give?" he heard her obvious confusion. ,, Of course I gave you my time to see what's going on. In return, I'll take an answer," he explained, not noticing that he was gripping her arm tighter. ,, So what happened?" he asked again, not noticing that his tone had become cooler. ,, It was a cat, I wanted to pet it and it caught me with its claws on my hand," she finally confessed, which also explained the wound.

He saw the uncertain expression when she saw his eye light up red. ,, Let go Kou!" she said louder before she freed herself from his grip and disappeared into the mansion.

Was it necessary for him to be rough with her? Or was he just afraid that she was lying to him because he had hoped for something different. Something more intimate. The meal was normal for him, he thought Y/n was too quiet, but she seemed to be as preoccupied as he was. In the evening of the same day, when he could no longer bear her lifeless expression, he decided to do something. He knocked on her door and came in without waiting for the answer. ,, Y/n-chan, I have something for you," he said cheerfully and walked over to her. ,, Do you want something in return?" he heard her hurt voice and felt the stinging sensation in his chest. ,, No, this is something without give and take. Here, I hope she doesn't scratch," he said, looking at her confused expression before handing her the cat he had hidden under his jacket. The animal mewed as Y/n gently stroked the black fur. ,, Thank you Kou," she thanked him and smiled as the cat purred woollily. ,, You're welcome, Y/n-chan, I guess I shouldn't have overreacted like that, sorry," came the blond's reply, and he looked at her forgivingly. ,, We all have our reasons...it's okay" she said and offered him to play with the cat as well. While he listened to her calm heartbeat and her sweet smile, he thought that just giving and enjoying it could be worth a lot.

so without further ado, here’s ruki mukami’s sfw alphabet. you’re welcome. or sorry, lol.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

so, ruki.. ruki isn’t the most affectionate at first glance but it’s there.

his affection shines through subtle, smaller actions, and he has a lot of ways when it comes to showing affection.

for example, his brothers. perhaps not physically, but it can be very clear that ruki has an affection towards his brothers. with his brothers, he shows his affection and appreciation for them by simply caring for them, doing things for them and spending time with them.

for ruki’s s/o, you know you’ve made it into ruki’s heart once he starts treating you the same way he treats his brothers.

of course, being his s/o, or livestock, there are some differences but i’ll get into that now.

he isn’t big on physical touch, especially early on in relationships. once that trust has been developed, and once he’s gotten over himself, he’s a lot more likely to initiate physical intimacy, and will be somewhat okay receiving it.

for ruki, i think actions speak louder than words, and he likes to think he practices what he preaches. i guess it just depends what his s/o considers to be affection? 

he’s very willing to shower you in (his own version) of affection if you are worthy of it.

if you are, then yes, you’ll frequently see a ruki who shows his affection through things like quality time and acts of service. those two things are more frequent than physical touch, for ruki at least.

that’s not to say he won’t ever feel physically affectionate. it’s rare, but not impossible.

other small physical ways ruki shows his affection towards someone is just by touching them, whether that’s just him resting his hand on you, pulling you into a surprise embrace, giving you a chaste kiss right on the forehead, or something.

physical affection is always something he loves to tease his s/o with. he loves to get his s/o flushed and if simple touches can do that, he’ll definitely catch you by surprise from time to time.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend?)

ruki isn’t one to just.. let people into his life like that, so, like being his s/o, if you manage to befriend him, like actually become his best friend or one of his closest friends, props to you, honestly.

it would take a lot of time, and i mean a lot. but worth it? definitely. i think he could be a really good friend.

he’s the type of friend who will always tell you the truth, even if it’s blunt and hurtful, and is also someone you can always rely on

if there’s one thing ruki is, it’s loyal, so if you’re a close friend of his, it’ll be a close bond. 

he’s also the best at giving advice. this man has advice for anything and everything, so as a friend of his, he’d always have some sort of advice for you. 

he might seem like a distant friend, but he does keep in contact with his friend/s often, but probably not daily. he’s a busy man with things to do. but, that makes the time spent with one another more valuable, right?

also, in order to be close to ruki, you have to go through his bros first, lol. 

it’s not that hard, honestly. they trust ruki’s opinions and if ruki is friends with someone, they trust his judgement.

that being said, if you’re ruki’s best friend, you’re probably frequently invited over to his place. it’s like an open invitation sort of thing? i would say you’d always be welcome but that’s a little big of an exaggeration.

omg, you both can start a book club. or at least a two-person book club lol. 

a requirement if you’re to be a friend of ruki’s : you have to appreciate his hobbies. 

you don’t care for reading? ruki will make you like it. 

you don’t know how to cook? no? you do now. same with whether or not you like cooking, lol.

he’s not pushy, per se, it’s just.. as i mentioned above, ,, quality time.

all in all, i’d have to rate best friend ruki 10/10. it’s incredibly hard to achieve because ruki doesn’t just let people in, but once you’re close enough, as a best friend, he really might treat you as good as he does his brothers.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

LOL no. ruki cuddles are extremely rare. 

there are a few things that might lead to a cuddle. first, i would probably say something bad happened and either his s/o or, though very unlikely, ruki needs comforting. 

also, another thing that might sound hard to believe is that cuddles are more likely to be initiated by his s/o rather than himself. honestly you just have to test the waters to see if you’re allowed to or not.

similarly to the affection bit, you need to be worthy of it. sure, if you beg him enough he might. it’s just simply not for him. 

physical affection is great, as is physical intimacy, it’s just.. he’s not a cuddler. 

in the rare moments in which cuddles do happen, you better savor it. seriously.

he’s letting his guard down, despite 99% likely being the big spoon, and you get to witness him be vulnerable and free of worry for a bit. don’t get too comfortable with it though.

also, i feel like if anything, he’s more likely to cuddle while he’s asleep. he’s a light sleeper, so he’d realize like ‘oh oops’ but maybe,,,, just maybe if he likes you enough, he’ll pretend to be asleep still. especially if you’re still sleeping.

if you awaken because of him subconsciously cuddling up to you, he’ll notice if you don’t make it known. 

vampire senses, you know?? he just knows.

if that’s the case, .. you’re in for a night. i know this is the fluff alphabet, so i’m keeping it fluffy, but,, he’s gotta distract you somehow.  

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they around the house?)

so, ruki is pretty domestic with his bros. we know this. he’s very content with this, and i don’t think he’d have things any other way.

if you’re his s/o, you’re living with him, and that’s final. he doesn’t beat around the bush- you’re his livestock now, there’s no need for you to stay anywhere else.

in terms of settling down, however, i guess that depends? 

it really isn’t something he’s ever fantasized about, or even shown interest in. ever. i think, even after he’s in a relationship with his s/o, he doesn’t like to entertain the idea of moving out and like.. idk, having kids, getting married ect. 

i almost want to say ruki fears change, in fact, i think none of the mukami’s would be fond of changes, naturally. if a major change such as someone were to move out, it’d have to be introduced slowly, you know?

also, his brother’s would need to be at an arm’s length, if he were to settle down and move away.

by settling down, if you are referring to children, he wouldn’t rush it. if he is to have a child, fine. if not, fine. he’s neutral. 

if his s/o wants to have children, they’ll have to take a lot of things into consideration. 

in all honesty, as much as ruki loves his brothers, i think if ruki had a child, it’d be time to move on to another home. probably.?

so settling down can happen, but he’s not in a rush for it or anything. he’s content with his current life, and he’ll take whatever comes to him.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

oh boy.

this, on the other hand, has unfortunately been thought of more than once for ruki. is it anything against his s/o? no. it’s literally all him and his own personal issues.

as we know, he’s got major trust issues. it’s almost always never his s/o’s fault- they’ve done nothing wrong, it’s just that ruki knows he’s catching/caught feelings and doesn’t want to accept it.

so, um, yeah. 

despite all of that! it’s not very likely, at all. even though he entertains the idea, it’s just.. not going to happen. 

ruki, like the rest of the diaboys, has some yandere tendencies. with his entire view on your relationship being master/livestock, he’s not going to let you go easily. once ruki’s in any sort of relationship with you, he’s keeping you. for good. the only way out is by his own hands, at that point. 

anyways, putting that aside, it’d be very unlikely for ruki to actually break up with somebody, really. if he’s let you into his life, he’s going to have control over you, now. 

if, for whatever reason, he absolutely had to separate from his s/o, it definitely wouldn’t be the last time they see him. does he have better things to do? yes. but, this won’t stop him from inserting himself in their life.

in fact, again, if a breakup were to happen, he’d make sure you’d never forget about him, one way or another.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

this goes hand in hand with the domestic one, as he is content with his life, he would say.

though, that’s not to say marriage isn’t in the cards for him because it definitely is! is it something he daydreams about? not at all, but once ruki has truly accepted the fact that he is in love with his s/o, he’d be okay with the idea of marriage.

at that point in his life, marriage is a good thing. a ceremonial practice that is proof of the love he and his partner share. if you were to ask him before developing such a relationship with his s/o? he’d be indifferent to marriage, maybe even seeing it as a stupid contract, if anything.

again, once he’s accepted his feelings, i think he’d be eager to plan out a proposal.

except, before that, he’d have to make sure his s/o would actually be.. like.. okay with a proposal. the idea of his s/o refusing sounds impossible to him, and he’d rather keep it that way- then again, if he thinks his s/o wouldn’t want to commit in that way, they probably wouldn’t be his s/o-he’d get rid of them if that were the case because any sign of commitment issues are a no-no. 

after ruki is engaged to his s/o, he’s not in a rush but he’s also not delaying anything, either. he wants the day to be perfectly planned and suitable for both himself and his partner, so he’s willing to take as much time as needed.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

ok yeah lol i’m starting to realize this is not the alphabet for ruki. dsjfhsd

he can be gentle. it’s rare, and especially depends on the relationship and how much he trusts his s/o. 

ruki isn’t one to fabricate things. he will be gentle if he sees it necessary, and again, if you are worthy of it.

i think ruki is more likely to be gentle in a physical manner as opposed to emotionally. perhaps ruki has noticed he’s been too rough with his livestock, and i repeat, if you’re deserving of it, he’ll make it up to you. 

i can see this happening after especially rough nights, or like i said earlier as well, perhaps if something .. eventful has happened? and not in a good way. i mean like.. emotionally eventful. like, karl dying or something. idk

in a situation like that, where something negative has impacted him (or his s/o), he’d be more likely to let down his walls and share a moment with his s/o.

he enjoys holding his s/o’s hand, and just like.. cupping their cheeks with his hand. small physical representations of gentleness, i guess. like ruki himself, it’s a bit subtle.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? What are their hugs like?)

not really a hugger but if you beg hard enough.. he’ll consider it.

on a more serious note, he’s not a big hugger. physical touch isn’t his preferred way of showing affection. however, he doesn’t think hugs are awful. 

because ruki hugs are so rare, it’s very enjoyable. despite the fact that he is a vampire, who’s body runs cold, the embrace would be warm and dare i say full of affection. intentionally? idk, maybe not, but the fact that ruki is hugging you should kind of reveal to you that this is a privilege, one that ruki wants you to appreciate, even if he won’t admit it.

again, because hugs from this vampire don’t happen often, he sometimes likes to surprise his s/o with a hug, just to see their reaction. this will happen probably later on into their relationship because as with all the diaboys, these relationships take time. a lot of it. to be with any of the diaboys, patience is a must.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

hmm... well, i imagine he’d try to avoid saying it for as long as he can. his view on love is not like some ordinary humans’. i don’t want to say he wouldn’t believe in love, but.. 

um.

anyways, he believes that the chances of people having actual truthful, loving relationships, aren’t very high. this applies to himself as well, considering one, he doesn’t trust easily, two, he has no reason for love, and three, he doesn’t want to fall in love. hence why, especially in the early stages of his relationship/s, he is adamant about the relationship he is in with you- he is your master, you are his livestock.

when he is ensuring this nature of the relationship, it’s a reminder to himself that he can’t fall in love. 

so, if ruki were to fall in love with some one, it’d take him a long time to admit it. 

i honestly think he’d prefer for his s/o to say it first, as well. i’m not entirely sure if he’d believe his s/o when they say that, because words mean little to ruki. which could be another reason why he’s so.. hesitant to drop the l-bomb, aside from the fact that he dreads to hear the words leave his mouth. ever.

he is as untrusting as he is stubborn. it’s partially a pride thing, too, i suppose.

when ruki does say it, though, it’s kind of ironic because he will play it off coolly, as he usually does, and act as if it wasn’t a big deal. which i mean, to him, it wasn’t saying the words, or even the meaning behind it, but rather just .. coming to accept it.

in the very rare event when he says it unintentionally, you’re in for a punishment. he has to distract you, after all. might even try to convince you that you were dreaming, lol

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

ruki is an extremely jealous man, he just knows how to hide it. 

also, i guess this depends too whether or not you consider jealousy to be the same thing as possessiveness, because ruki is technically more possessive than jealous.

in all honesty, i think ruki knows better not to be jealous and knows for a fact, that his s/o knows more than anyone else to not even think of getting too close with anyone else.

that being said, we know how ruki reacts to his livestock, his prey being drank from. again, whether you consider this jealousy or him staking his claim on his s/o, that’s up to you.

when ruki feels this way, of course, he must show everyone their places. if someone is getting to friendly with his livestock, he’ll make it known that they’re out of line.

there’s multiple ways he could go about doing that: verbally threatening them, or giving them a warning, 

or! showing some good ol pda. 

the latter will be especially more likely to happen if he’s really feeling uncomfortable with whoever it is that is interacting with his s/o.

it’s one thing for him to witness you talking with someone- he’ll watch, to make sure you stay in place, but if the person starts getting within a foot of your distance, he’ll swoop in and steal you away, putting on a show.

it’s definitely different compared to what you’d be used to. ruki can be a passionate lover, but pda isn’t something he takes part in often.

i also think it depends on who is coming onto you. if it’s some mere human, whatever. not a big deal, he’ll just come in, pull you close to him and wrap his arm around your waist.

if it’s someone like a fellow vampire, he gets a bit more.. passionate. i wouldn’t doubt him to be bold enough to pull you into a deep kiss, showing who you belong to.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

ah, speaking of kisses!

,,,ruki kisses.. 😩 BAHAHA thinking about it makes me melt

he has a lot of different meanings behind his kisses, if that makes sense.

there’s the one where it’s just a delicate little kiss, possibly to tease you, or possibly just for show

i can imagine ruki teasing his s/o by giving them the smallest, lamest kisses just to hear them beg, or maybe even pout, lol. he’d get such a kick out of it.

there’s also the kisses where he’s just caught up in a moment of passion, or is perhaps just overcome by his urges. those types will escalate, for sure.

then, there’s the kiss that is just.. straight up full of love. really puts his heart into it, somehow.  

a lot of it depends on the context, but again.. ruki kisses,,,,, 🥴

another thing he sometimes likes to do is like.. kiss you before he basically impales you. or after biting you. or both.

not necessarily about kisses but he loves catching his s/o off guard. hence why he enjoys kissing you softly, leaving you to anticipate his bite.

he’ll kiss his s/o anywhere, he’s not picky, but, as i mentioned, sometimes chaste forehead kisses are fun, just to get a rise out of you

i think, other than the lips, one of his favorite spots to kiss his s/o would be on their neck. or, more specifically, the nape of the neck. he feels as if it leaves his s/o in such a vulnerable position and i mean.. it’d hurt pretty bad to get bitten there so, woo~ anticipation~

in terms of where ruki would like to be kissed.. let me tell you a secret. i think he’d really enjoy being kissed, a lot more than he’d let on. he doesn’t appreciate his own fondness for it, but..~

i think ruki’s favorite type of kisses from his s/o is the needy, heated type of kiss. one of his favorite things about his s/o is the fact that he knows he’s got the upper hand over them, if that makes sense? so if physical pleasure is one way to keep his livestock under his finger, then so be it. it’s not like he doesn’t enjoy it, either.

kiss him desperately, he’ll melt a bit. he’s a master at playing things off, so you wont notice it, but internally.. it riles him up quite a bit.

other than that, any other kisses are fine. and because it’s ruki, i almost want to bring up the idea of kissing his scars, but you’d need trust level 1 million for that, honestly. 

oh, and JFDHFDS sorry i can’t keep things super fluffy apparently but if you ever get the chance, kiss ruki’s neck. that’s all i’m saying. or his collarbone, or something. just do it. you won’t regret it.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

i like to think that all of the mukami’s have a soft spot for children, ruki included.

is he more gentle towards children, yes, but he thinks it’s important for children to know the realities of life. he won’t act any different towards children, but he is a bit more approachable towards them.

like, he does like kids, and i think he would like to have his own, or care for a child at some point in time. ruki truly believes he could raise someone who could grow up to be a very successful person, and he’d take honor in knowing that. and it’d just be one more thing to boost his ego,,

for children in general, ruki treats them all the same. he’s definitely got a big brother type of attitude, but he’s got enough strictness that like.. a mother would. or a father, idk parents vary ok lol

yeah there’s not much to say other than he’s not mean to children, and is in fact rather friendly, it just, i guess depends on the child?

the childlike innocence is admirable, but the dark part of him (or realist, honestly) would rather have them know like.. life isn’t all that great. but, if it’s not his kid, why should he try to parent them??

anyways yeah kids are cool. like, if there’s a kid who needs help or anything and is completely just. lost at a mall or something, i can see him like.. helping the kid get back to their parents. he’d do that.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

despite being a vampire, ruki is an early bird. unless you wake up very early as well, ruki typically is out of bed before his s/o and is already up and running, making breakfast, most likely.

honestly, i can’t really picture him sleeping in at all, for some reason. i mean, it’d probably happen, rarely, because ??how can you avoid that yknow

maybe after a night full of nightmares and being up and out of bed every hour, sure, he might sleep in.

there might be some spontaneous moves from him, too. i can picture ruki sometimes, if he’s in a particularly good mood, will wake his s/o up gently, maybe waking them up with a little nibble to their ear or something lol

it also might not be surprising for him to wake his s/o up to eat so their food doesn’t get cold, but i think that depends on who he’s in a relationship with.

or!!! maybe if he’s feeling a bit mischievous or something,, especially if he knows his s/o’s not a morning person,, he might wake his s/o up just for fun, lol

or maybe he wakes his s/o up for a drink,, or maybe it’s to get up and be his sweet little sous chef for the morning

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

keeping this apart of the fluff alphabet,, nights with ruki either go one way or another- quiet and just. straight to bed, or the literal opposite.

often times, he likes to drink from his prey before going to sleep because there’s nothing better than going to bed on a full stomach, right? ruki thinks so, at least.

i would say ruki goes to sleep at a relatively normal time, giving himself enough free time after dinner and then idk, time for bed i guess.

as his livestock, his prey, as well as his s/o, he would prefer to sleep with you. the only times he wont is if he’s having a rough night, perhaps with thoughts from his past that keep reoccurring to him, or something like that. maybe he’d be having one of his moments where he just wants to push people away, something like that.

but yeah, typically nights are very quiet with him. if he’s intent on sleeping, let him sleep. he’s not going to try anything unless he’s having troubles falling asleep. 

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

one of the things ruki despises the most is pity. show any pity towards him and you’ll be in your grave. or, headed there. he can be nice enough to give a warning.

this probably doesn’t come to a surprise, but ruki will hold off on telling anyone about his past for as much as he can, and there are multiple reasons for this.

one, why would his past be anyone else but his business?

two, the past is the past. ruki is who ruki is, and his past has nothing to do with anything.

to which i say, yes it kinda does bro but i’ll keep my mouth shut ♥ 

so yeah, if his s/o is curious about it, give him time. he won’t give you all the details but he’ll tell you everything to sate your curiosity. but, he won’t be giving all this information for free, either, so you better make sure you know what you’re in for.

in the meantime, don’t even dare to try and figure things out about his past. ruki likes to believe he’s in control of what you do and don’t know, and if it involves his history, you will know of it when he wants you to. 

otherwise, there’s no reason for you to know. 

honestly, i think he’d be more open about his past at the orphanage rather than everything that happened before the orphanage. the only details you’d get would be shitty mom, shitty father, and, humble ruki admitting he was an aristocratic brat. 

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

it can take a lot to really upset ruki. and i mean a lot.

for trivial things like petty arguments, he’s used to it. or, maybe his livestock wants to act up? he can deal with that. 

while ruki is a very patient man, there are few things that can really set him off. 

i think, the biggest two, would be when he actually feels like there’s a threat near, meaning either he feels threatened by someone or feels as if they are going to harm his brothers, if that makes sense?

and then, his past. it’s a sensitive subject for him, we know. treading around this topic in general with ruki is very dangerous because he can get set off by what might seem like the tiniest things, but this isn’t exactly the case.

ruki is just really good at holding in his emotions and it’s rare to truly see him upset, and when he is upset, he takes it out on others. not his brothers, but most likely to the one who angered him in the first place. 

with ruki, you don’t really have to worry about pissing him off unless you’re intentionally doing it. and if you are, he’ll make you regret it, if he hasn’t kill you already. as i’ve said, sometimes he’s nice enough to just give warnings.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

ruki will know you better than you know yourself. hell, he might even know you more than he knows himself. he’s got outstanding memory, as to be expected of someone like him.

and, ruki, with his possessive and sometimes yandere tendencies, yes, of course he should know you very personally.

a lot of the information it’s like?? okay ruki how did you find this out?? that’s a secret. and, frankly, not one you need to worry about. what, do you think ruki will use it against you? either way, it doesn’t matter. you’re his. he’ll do what he pleases.

he’s very good at remembering details, and is even better at remembering how to react and respond to specific things.

he takes a lot of it to mind, and usually will use it to his advantage in some way. for example, if he catches you staring at, say, something in the window while walking down a street with him, he’ll pick up on it, and he’ll definitely remember it. 

it’s one of his many benefits for being so observant. and he’s like this with everyone, honestly. he likes to be able to remember what triggers certain people and how certain people respond to various things. in this case, i am definitely referring to the sakamaki’s.

anyways, this can be sweet for his s/o because oh, nice, ruki remembers that i don’t really care for this, or ruki noticed that i have a preference for this color and blah blah blah. it shows, especially when ruki is rewarding you in some sort of way.

however, this is also terrible for his s/o because he also can figure out quickly exactly what you dislike. and, being the sadist he is, he has not much of an issue with this. for example, say you’ve got a pretty big fear of like.. something. anything. ruki can and will use this against you. he also remembers things like where you’re most sensitive, where you hurt the most, ect.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

ruki’s favorite moments in a relationship would probably be... hmmmm

probably the little things. the little sweet moments where you’re all together, like you, him and the rest of his brothers. he values his brothers a lot, obviously, so to see those two things combine, it’s a good feeling. 

other than that, again, little things. it could be just something like the two of you sharing a quiet morning, sitting down and eating breakfast with each other, something like that. 

also, ruki really loves to teach. professor!ruki moment?? JFDhds as his s/o, though, he’s going to teach you a lot of things. both intentionally and unintentionally. like, as i mentioned earlier, if you don’t know how to cook, he’s going to teach you. 

i can also picture him teaching his s/o to ballroom dance, because that’s . .a common trope. but one i can definitely picture ruki doing and enjoying.

idk really when i say he likes spending time with his s/o, i mean it. it doesn’t matter what they’re doing, he just likes being there with them and he’ll treasure it, for sure.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you?)

super protective, if that wasn’t obvious.

and while earlier on in the relationship, this might be true- he doesn’t actually care what happens to you, but.. he does. he covers it up though by saying he’s only protective of you because that’s the responsibility he should have, being your master.

that’s really all i can say, honestly. it’s a lie, especially later on as he starts to actually care for his livestock

it’d honestly be very reassuring, though, because as long as you are under ruki’s care, he will protect you with his life. because ‘that’s what a good master does’.

cough cough, ok ruki.

the only one who can harm you is himself. though, it won’t be too bad as long as you follow his rules.

once again, i would like to point out how loyal ruki is, and it definitely applies to how he would protect his loved ones. including his s/o. he will protect with everything he’s got, and will do as much as he can to prevent you from getting in harm’s way that isn’t coming from him.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

regarding everyday tasks, it’d be just as much as he usually does? in the mukami household, while he does cook for everyone else, each brother is to do their own respective cleaning. if a mess is made, that brother is to clean it up. ruki, being a great big bro probably does do some other things for his brothers such as laundry, but other than that and cooking, idk.

anyways, this would all apply to his s/o as well. while ruki does do a lot, his s/o must put in effort for something,, at least as much as his brothers do. he doesn’t want to be in a relationship with someone with the same amount of energy as the eldest sakamaki.

in regards to like.. dates and stuff, they happen. frequently, actually. and, of course, the three words i’ve said so many times throughout this entire alphabet- if his s/o deserves it. this is just something ruki lives by, okay?

ruki will schedule dates with his s/o often, at least once a month if they’ve been good. sometimes they’re a bit fancy, sometimes they’re not. the idea behind the dates itself is the fact that it’s something he’s actually planned out- other than that, he’ll sometimes invite you to join him somewhere just for the fun of it. 

gifts are never super extravagant- not because he can’t afford it, he can, but simply because he doesn’t prefer it? he prefers giving his s/o gifts that have more meaning behind it, if that makes sense.

sometimes he also gives gifts for his own pleasure, too. for example, i wouldn’t doubt that ruki has once gifted his s/o like.. a collar, or something. 

actually, ruki doesn’t mind giving gifts to his s/o because he enjoys the fact that everything he gives to his s/o is a reminder of who she belongs to. 

while this wouldn’t be a requirement for ruki, i think he’d be pleasantly surprised if his s/o did anything like giving him gifts or inviting him out on a date. he’d enjoy it, literally only because of the effort and thought his s/o put into it. it makes him feel good, you know?

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

wellllll,l,, um. this should be obvious. HAHA i almost feel bad for wanting to list all the bad things about ruki because i have a lot to list.

i mean,,, apart from he being a bit of an egomaniac (sure, it’s arguable bc he doesn’t act like ayato, but still), he’s lowkey a bully (but obviously we’re into that bc this is dl) um. he’s a bit insane. but anyways JHJHSD sorry ruki 🙏

pushing aside all of the obvious traits and habits of ruki’s,,,

sometimes he can get caught up with himself and his own duties. such as? tbh i have no idea sfsddf only thing i can think of is if karlheinz is still alive, he is still dedicated to karl. though,, after the adam & eve thing it gets kinda complicated but whatever. he’s always at karl’s beck and call.

um.... uhhhh 

idk honestly he’s a pretty decent guy if you ignore how unstable he is. i guess another bad habit of his would be how unpredictable he is?? 

also, i’d like to point out as well that ruki doesn’t think of any of these of bad habits and i think that may be why i’m struggling a bit, other than the fact that in the games, ruki shows us the ugliest sides of him so it’s like.. ok

i don’t want to say he’s obsessed with his appearance, but he does care. not only will it hurt his pride if he doesn’t look presentable, he likes to come off as a put together guy. 

that’s honestly it, really. he’s not going to fuss about anything but he wants himself to look good at all times.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

hm... this one’s tough. it definitely depends on who he’s in a relationship with, and how.. close the relationship is. 

and honestly writing this feels like i’m exposing him HFDSHH this would be a super personal question for ruki. because, you guessed it, his pride, his trust issues, and just ,,,, a whole lot of problems-

and, of course, he wouldn’t admit this, or at least want to, and probably only would in a life or death situation ,, im exaggerating a bit but like he would too ok??

now, to say whether he’d feel ‘incomplete’ without his s/o.. well, that sounds.. dramatic. in my opinion and probably ruki’s opinion, too-

i actually think.. ‘empty’ would probably be a better word?

then again, it depends. if you’re his s/o and have been with him for a while and if he’s truly bonded with his partner, then yeah.

while livestock can be replaced, ruki, unfortunately for him, does grow particular fondness towards them. i mean, even if he looks at his livestock as simply nothing but a meal, humans are different from one another, always.

anyways, i guess what i can say is that ruki.. probably wouldn’t go straight back to his usual self, without his s/o? there’d be a sort of loneliness type of vibe just.. surrounding him. the only way he’ll feel that way though is if his s/o’s dead, however. goes missing? he’ll search forever, mark his words. it’s honestly almost.. endearing how much he’d to just to keep his hands on you.

X - Xtra (Random HC)

since ruki has been in a relationship with his s/o, you might notice that he’s been more open to trying new things. the thing is, he makes you do it with him, whether that be like.. idk a pottery class, or maybe like. picnics lol. since he’s been in a relationship with you (even if it’s not like.. a relationship-relationship if you get me), he’s felt a little more adventurous and eager to try things out with his partner. also just thought of like.. ice skating, too, so that’s cute.

hm,,.. here, i’ll steal one based on my sims gameplay with the mukamis: he enjoys cross-stitching.

speaking of sims, i think, for whatever reason, ruki would have a knack for interior design. is also super talented with writing, he’d have a really macabre type of writing style.

kou once painted ruki’s nails black and he had the hardest time getting it off. why would ruki allow that? well, first, he’s gotta keep up that 😎 epic cool big bro status, and also kou probably practically begged him. his excuse would be “to see what the color looks like”. while this may have been true, ruki knows that kou could do it to himself, but honestly it wasn’t a big deal. it was a nice bonding time, ruki loves his brothers and i love that for them. i can picture him wearing gloves for a few days until finally getting them off- and what’s even better is that he refused to ask kou for help.

also wow when this said random i really am just like. throwing out headcanons, so here’s some more.

as a child, ruki was definitely one of those kids who were anti vegetables. it is, most likely a trait he will pass onto his own, lol.

another thing kou has made ruki do is playing video games. aand join social media. if he did have a public account, i can picture him also having a private one that he actually uses. he’s not a social media addict, and in fact, he rarely uses it but.. on occasion. has probably gotten karl hooked on twitter or something JSDFSH oh, and the video game thing; yeah no.

except.. he hates to admit it but smartphones really are a beautiful thing. i wish i could say he plays candy crush in his spare time, but no. too easy for him, and also he’d be way too annoyed by it.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs?)

a lot of the times before ruki actually falls asleep, he might sit up and read for a bit, or maybe have a warm drink. and, as his s/o, who, whether you wanted to or not, have been turned into his new bed warmer, ssdfjhsdfs

also, we know ruki has nightmares. as his s/o, if you weren’t aware already, he has nightmares. and, like a normal person, he doesn’t love them.

if you are with him after he wakes from a nightmare, he’ll either want to take his mind off of it somehow, or, want comfort. will he admit that? hell no. BIG NO. pity is one of the things he hates the most, even if it’s unintentional.

if you wake up from it, which i mean.. you might if you’re a light sleeper, but ruki during his nightmares isn’t like.. screaming or anything. you’ll hear some noises, and see his face clench up sometimes, and he’ll be shifting around more than usual as well, so.. if those wake you up, sorry but like. ruki doesn’t care. be grateful that he even allowed you to witness that, even though like. .it wasn’t intentional, but whatever. ruki logic.

yeah um if you do wake up for it, he’ll know. and he’ll then use you as a way to shift his thoughts away from his dream.

if you’re not awake and remain sound asleep, it kind of depends.. he might get up, he might just lay there, or maybe he’ll wake you up, maybe with gentle, teasing touches.

RUKI MUKAMI

Initially, Ruki only allowed you to accompany your sister since she's “Eve”. And clearly, there was no way she'd go without you. Therefore, he provides you every basic necessity a human could possibly need, but that's it. The only time Ruki had a full conversation with you was when you needed help with your homework. To which, he reluctantly decided to help you with.

Sooner than later, you found yourself traveling to Ruki's study weekly in hopes for some afternoon tutoring. Before you knew it, those weekly sessions turned into daily ones; I suppose you can say he's gotten quite attached to your presence. Now, it's become a requirement. Studying for at least three hours a night, by his side, in his library. And dear, there's no reason to ask anyone else for help; you don't need it! After all, Ruki is not one to stray away from a routine.

“You didn't attend yesterday's session, is something the matter? Are you unwell? Or perhaps it's Yui's doing? Even so, try to attend every day or there will be consequences.”

KOU MUKAMI

Kou is an interesting case. Sure, he's nice to you upon your arrival just as he was with a certain blonde. However, the idol took no real interest in anything involving you. That was until Ruki put him on “Child Duty” for the evening. I mean, come on, you're a teen not a damn fetus! As you'd imagine, he was anything but pleased. Surprisingly enough, Kou started a conversation with you, which he found himself thoroughly enjoying. But something tells me those blue eyes have been peering right through you!

There you were seared across from him, your hands neatly tucked in your lap as Kou gently applied the thin mask to your face. It smelt of petals and peaches. Refreshing, and yet you couldn't stop the shiver that wrecked your being upon its contact. Yes, refreshing but also cold. A low snort slipped past his lips as he reached to pinch your cheeks between his thumb and index finger. Perhaps even Kou can find some comfort within your genuine emotions (something you and Yui share).

“Wah~! Filming took absolutely forever today. I even had to skip put on picking you up today, y'know? Hehe, but fret no longer, the amazing Kou Mukami is here to cure your boredom!”

YUMA MUKAMI

I suppose you aren't entirely useless. Having an extra set of hands around the garden proved to be quite the blessing, so why not keep you around? Hah, you may as well call it an excuse! Yuma had always been amused by your energy, — your eagerness to learn about the things he often busied himself with. Soon enough he itching to spend time with his favorite little listener (Yui's sibling).

You could say he's quite protective over you. After all, how can a “defenseless sow” like your sister possibly look after you? The girl can barely pick a tomato properly! Yuma is much more capable of providing and protecting you...or so he says. So whether you like it or not, you're now his little helper. And trust me dear, there isn't anything you or Yui can do about it.

“Tch, toughen up kid, a little dirt won't hurt ya' too much. How are you ever gonna do somethin' on your own? Hah, but don't let others go pushin' you around like this. Only I'm allowed to do that, got it?

AZUSA MUKAMI

Nine times out of ten, you're the one who went out of your way to speak to him. Your curiosity got the best of you, leading you to a very extensive conversation with the youngest brother. And he was arguably not as boring as he appeared. A bit strange, that he was, but you saw no harm behind his abnormal kinks. Seeing how he's the most “normal” one in the house, surely you'll become attached to him in no time.

Azusa is pretty damn clingy once he gets comfortable. Even then, you find it hard to reject him — he looks so sad! You'll find yourself being dragged off to some random place in the manor as soon as you enter the doors! Yui hardly has a chance to speak with you, which is exactly where at he wants. Though she might be Eve, becoming Adam is the last thing on his mind when you're around.

“You don't look too well...did you...have a bad day today? Hmm...what happened? You can hit me if it makes you feel better. I just...I just want to see you smile.”

Does anyone else have vastly different appearances in their head for you in the different routes? Like I day dream a lot, like a lot a lot it's why I post sometimes it's when the fear overrides the need to word vomit.

TW: mentions of abuse, depression and just general fucked up. It's the diaboys there's only so much you can avoid mentioning

Ok so I'm gonna write out a brief description of what always stays the same in these day dreams. I play around with them being human or something else, normal or like assassin's or stuff like that. But there's a few things that generally stay the same. They're all Afab, with she/her pronouns just because I create women a lot in my head but you could easily gender swap them as I'm focusing on personality and general vibe the appearance I describe I think is easily able to fit on different genders or have a same vibe equivalent.

Shu

I've always felt Shu would match well with someone who deals with depression or anxiety, more so less severe cases as two sleep all the time to avoid having to face life people do not make healthy relationships. But someone who has some degree of understanding while also having a better hold of themselves as humans are getting better at learning how to help manage depression. Shu is old and I'm pretty sure he's not bothered to learn much about the modern world aside from sleep/comfort, music (that's a stretch mp3s are not used as much as phones also that bitch would absolutely be a waterproof wireless earphone hoe), and probably porn.

I think a natural leader type person would also suit. I know in theory it sounds antithetical to the s/o with depression but hear me out. I deal with depression but also due to my own personality step into organized positions as I want things done to avoid stress. I really see an oldest sister would match him as it's someone modeling behaviors that to the best of my knowledge Shu was never against having. It was Reiji rejecting him and the triplets being kept away from him that prevented that dynamic setting itself up. I really think if an s/o could get Shu to work on himself he would be trying to be more brotherly. I think out of all the brothers Shu and Subaru are very likely to have a happier relationship with everyone. But they don't have the tools and are too stepped in their ways to navigate without help.

I think they would have to meet in school or something outside of being a sacrificial bride, maybe an actual exchange student with strict instructions of no harm coming to them. Diaboys set up a pretty unhealthy dynamic and since they go cruelty first, then fuck up so bad then realize they're in love that the types that would benefit them "best" would be gone or killed already.

Someone with a good sense or sarcasm would be great for Shu too. Couples who laugh together stay together. Plus a match for teasing would probably be something that leaves a grin on his face all day long.

Shu: "You should really wear a longer skirt in school, or do you want me to look up your skirt as you walk past. Heh, lewd woman"

S/o: [as they walk past] "Why risk breaking uniform code when I can just wear nice underwear under it instead, then I get two benefits"

S/o: [stopping just before turning down a corridor] "There's no rant from Reiji for breaking code and you end up showing off how desperate you are. Lewd man~"

Shu: [in love]

I don't think any super genius level of intelligence is needed but someone with a rounded view on things and a someone who is at least vaguely informed about what they talk about would be good. It avoids the annoyance of someone dense but also isn't so book focused it reminds him of Reiji.

Reiji

Speaking of the spectacled suitor. S/o has gotta be smart in some capacity not necessarily an encyclopedia but maybe good at Chemistry/Biology, or a good strategist. Bitch aims to be a control freak and a future king or, route depending, advisor to the King, so battle tactics would be attractive.

He'd be into the type of woman who doesn't overtly dress sexually. Pencil skirt or pants and blouse with some heels are a great look and can be sexual when you want to be sexual but also just well put together when you aren't looking to get railed on a desk. Except, of course, for when he decides to get handsy he realizes you decided to forgo any underwear.

Nipple piercings. He's definitely into them you can't fool me it's all that hidden succubus energy he finds attractive in a partner.

Past that he wants someone who isn't going to stress him out, someone to be a voice of reason, and someone to relax with.

I think someone chatty could be either great or awful for him. On the one hand he seems so adjusted to over stimulation true silence may unsettle him but at the same time it may annoy him if he isn't interested in conversation. Same for the other side of the coin, someone too quiet would unsettle him cause he won't know what your thinking, but at the same time it might be nice to sit in silence and read.

I've always thought Reiji would want someone tall like 5'10-6'00 as they can't be taller then him because inferiority complex, but I firmly believe he's got a back that is prone to aches already so not having to bend far for kisses or hugs would be nice. Or better yet someone shorter than him but still tall for a woman, so wearing heels gets here to be like 5'11" to 6ft.

Reiji does like humor and spontaneity sometimes. I think a stiff lover would drain him, nobody wants to actually date themselves. Again the older sister type (stereotype I know) would suit, as generally older sisters are pushed to mature fast like he was, except generally it's not as severe as him and older sisters are statistically the most likely to have read about or been to therapy to undo some of the behaviors that aren't as healthy.

I don't think he'd enjoy a dom much but a switch who prefers to sub but isn't against them taking a more gentle lead (not the kinky shit he's into I don't think you'd actually get a whip near him in a healthy relationship).

Ayato

This bitch is tricky. Like I think with the except of Subaru the Sakamakis get worse the younger they are. I feel that's why the triplets never appealed to me they seemed harder to redeem. I could see Shu, Reiji, or Subaru potentially getting better with Reiji least likely but the triplets are... messy.

That being said I think Ayato is definitely going to have to be a least a little bit on the road to being more balanced by the time he meets this s/o.

An s/o who is modern would definitely appeal in my opinion. Video games, outfits, music all that good culture stuff that Ayato is a spectator not a player in right now. He is still old as shit and he hasn't got non...any friends so he doesn't have a lens to learn the culture, all he can do is watch.

Ayato is one of the highest sex driven characters in the games (he sleeps with Yui the most because it uses the underwear sprite almost every time they sleep together indicating it ain't just dreaming happening) I think that may be part possessive part teenage boy. So someone with an interest in partaking is probably important for drive balance. To be clear I don't necessarily mean sexy here, more so that giddy first time giggles type person. Someone who's excited to experience things with him.

That extends past the bedroom too Ayato was starved for activity as a child and is still as a teen so someone who knows what's fun and is happy to take him there is like perfect.

I do think Ayato's s/o will need to be a patient person as I feel Ayato going through therapy would mean a lot of breakdowns or tension in him that could lead to more arguments than potentially needed if they ain't a little patient for the smaller things. There is a difference between 'he demanded I make him Takoyaki then sulked when I reminded him we're equals in this partnership so I'll avoid escalating ' vs 'he has bitten me for talking to a guy, but to him that's just a display of love.' The second thing deserved a conversation then and there you don't avoid rocking the boat when it comes to dangerous behaviors folks.

S/O: Well, Edward isn't exactly a catch himself but like c'mon he imprinted on a baby. Ayato: Beatrix and him were engaged from birth. S/O: Exactly.

Laito

Oh boy. Again needs to be starting therapy or unraveling what his mum did to him and what his culture has shaped him to be first.

Once done however I think Laito would want someone "normal." No baggage, or crazy lifestyle, or wacky habits. I think he craves something calm when everything has been so disordered growing up. I think it's why he likes crosswords, they're a weirdly normal thing in his weird world.

I think he needs someone with a lower sex drive then he displays in the games. A not uncommon trauma response from childhood sexual assault is hyper sexuality which seems to be why Laito is hyper sexual. I don't think that's him as a person, Shu would be high sex drive in how he talks but Laito seems very much to be shielding himself with sex not having sex for sex.

So yeah someone who isn't always in the mood, maybe they sleep naked but just because they want skin on skin contact. Maybe it's to feel his breathing better. But that sort of environment. Where the thing he's over sexualized: himself and women, become less sexual more intimate. He'll be thrown a bit at first 100%. But I think after cuddling while having his hair gentle played with or a shoulder rub he'll be welcoming this new part bodily expression.

Laito is smart, smarter than he gets credit for he's a manipulator with charisma to boot and I've tried a crossword they use a certain part of your brain that I do not use. I think he'd like someone who's not too dense but also I feel like he won't mind too much so long as they could hold conversation and read sarcasm.

He also would probably love a more modern s/o like Ayato. Imagine the shopping sprees!

S/O: [coming out of changing room] I'm really not sure about this dress on me Laito: It's the shade it clashes with your undertones, try it in a different colour. S/O: They don't have it in my size, that sucks. Laito: Why? fufu~ It's Chanel, she was a vampire just take a picture and I'll get the designer over to make you one tailored made. S/O: Are you sure? I don't know how close I want you being stuck to your dad, and all the weirdness you've mentioned. Laito: Oh please, as if he's bothered enough about the fourth in line.

Kanato

This one's hard man. Kanato, Ruki, Kou, and Azusa are some of the hardest to envision in a healthy spot tbh. So this Kanato is very ooc. Think: isn't talking to teddy even if he still carries it, has a better hold on his temper, isn't trying to kill you constantly... basically just not Kanato.

A baker or a cook would absolutely appeal, dates where they show him how to cook new treats could be fun. Also top tier tea parties man.

Potentially a singer, musician, or dancer could appeal as well with the shared interest of singing being there. If the jealousy Kanato has gets weakened a bit I think that could help him get past his "I sing cuze mum liked it" thing.

I also truly think Kanato is like Laito in wanting something normal after all the abnormal he's lived through.

Subaru

Subaru is by far the closest to being the same amount of traumatized some people I've met irl are. Issues still there with the whole punching walls in anger but the fact he seems to punch walls to avoid hurting people implies he is trying to work on himself but doesn't know how.

Subaru could meet his s/o as a sacrificial bride and I think he's the only one who could. If I remember his route correctly, he isn't nearly as sadistic in the reasoning for his biting, hes also like what 15, 16 looking? He is modelling the only behavior he's seen, and while that doesn't make it right it is less heinous than the others.

I feel the most profound importance for this relationship is someone who will not shout, someone with a healthy enough up bringing to view arguments as Subaru approaches them as entirely useless. He will probably still have tantrums at first but having someone entirely unwilling to let communication break down on their end will push Subaru to do the same.

Subaru also does not seem to actually want much at all. He just wants a break, poor thing. If the S/O were to be a sacrificial bride, I think he'd be the one to pull a run away. I don't see Karl caring much here, Subaru is just a consequence of his vile habits as far as Karl is concerned.

From there I do think it's just a normal therapist and probably turning the S/O to a vampire.

Ruki

oh look what we have here. An endgelord.

Seriously Ruki infuriates me from a character point at times. They are meant to be somewhat foils to the Sakamakis, and for Ruki in particular his behavior is a mirror to Reiji and his ego is closer to Ayato but with Reiji type mannerisms.

So he likes reading, came from nobility but saw the absolute worse of humanity to then re-find a reason to care for others with his brothers. Ok cool, then he dies in an attempt to escape to then have Karl take pity on him and revive him as his subordinate. SO WHY DOES HE HATE POOR PEOPLE!?

Like whenever I sit down to think about it Ruki's sheer cruelty lines up with nothing other than abused children turn into abusers which is a dog-shit and wrong opinion. Like he doesn't have to be pally, he can be a kuudere, he can be jaded. But having him be so sadistic just makes him what he hated, a spoiled rich man taking joy in using his power over others.

But this is about suited partners. So for this fucker I prescribe what he wishes he was. Now this is the material worth much more work and maybe it will get that, I am currently uncertain.

So, let's be real that orphanage still existed after the Mukamis. So my little world I've made with all that maladaptive day dreaming I do. In that world just to show Ruki as not as above everyone as he thinks, his soulmate type S/O as well as some if not all the other S/Os were there either at the same time or sequentially. Ruki got his escape plan from the work of a girl he viewed as too stupid to pull it off, aka S/O. When the boys escape obviously torture happens to see if anyone knows anything, and the boys failed the escape. This is used by the S/O to advise her sisters to change course slightly.

They do escape and Karl realizes very quickly he got the less advantageous group in terms of strategy. He would more than likely approach these girls, maybe they stay human for quite a while but eventually do need to be turned for the pure sake of time.

So Ruki gets introduce when he comes to visit Karl to update on the whole Eve thing only to see S/O. Standing there talking with Karl as if you're equals as he's laughing at some comment. Karl introducing them as his right hand man so to speak. Seeing that you get to live with Karl and you glaring.

After some prodding due to jealousy causing him to take out his insecurities on you in the form of unwanted commentary, you snap. You openly call him out on his failings, how you are what he wishes he was and how you don't masquerade as the same tormentors that made both your childhoods hell.

Eventually (I'm not giving a whole slow burn fic away for free people), he gets whipped something bad. Having to face the fact that he is exactly what he judges in humans so much. I don't imagine many would forgive him, hence why S/O to me cannot be anyone other than such a strong person to have survived and still be so openly kind.

No dialogue here so I can pretend these all got fair treatment.

Yuma

So big boy farmer. His sadism doesn't fully track with me same as Ruki but Yuma has more redeeming character traits that offset the cruelty. He also seems to truly only carry out the Eden project due to loyalty to Karl, he is a fiercely loyal person.

As said for Ruki I love the idea of the Mukami S/Os being sisters from the orphanage. Yumas S/O would probably also have a strong sense of loyalty to Ruki's S/O. The main exception being her loyalty to Karl does not cause her to be in any way sadistic. While Karl is fully ready to drop kick a child the S/O does not see that behavior appropriate at all regardless of her vampire-ism.

Having to deal with pining for a girl who will not date him as he currently treats women may cause him to change for the sake of placating her sure. But once identities are revealed and Yuma learns that the reason the S/O is so anti-cruelty is due to the orphanage I think Yuma would be one of the ones more open to change. Like Ruki, the reflection isn't so nice once the glass was polished.

He just wants a farm and probably kids or dogs lets be real here.

Kou

Once again an edgelord. Who doesn't at all understand give and take as much as he harps on about it. I may have low enough standards to crush on these boys but a hypocrite is TOO LOW.

I'm sounding like a broken record here but a fellow orphan escapee S/O as the vector for Kou getting called out on his bs is great.

Also full on enemies to lovers vibes. One little head canon is what if the S/O at the request of Karl gave up an eye, the eye then enchanted for Kou. Having to stand across from someone who will not buy the excuse of his trauma being an acceptable reason to harm others. Because you lived through it all, if not worse and still gave up an eye free of charge because Karl had this protegee who was so sad about not having two eyes.

I think Kou's love would not start until near a century after. Having to see you again and again after the introduction, seeing how you and your sister's are Karl's jewels as you are so effective because of your humanity. He's prone to envy let's be frank.

But once he opens up to the fact he could change and be like you, maybe after having to work with you, he begins to warm up to it all.

Azusa

Azusa is one like Kanato that I am unsure if I know how to treat.

The love of pain of his would put so much emotional labor on an S/O that just isn't fair. The only relationship I would feel comfortable writing on would be a post therapy and self work Azusa who doesn't make masochism his main personality trait.

He is gentle in disposition so a gentle S/O would match well. Or maybe an extroverted S/O to bring him out his shell a bit, post masochism recovery.

Yeah if any Azusa fans read this and have ideas please write you own and sent it to me I am really curious of seeing this from the perspective on someone who has a connection to him.
