Elsje and priscilla! Elsje is a pegasus who would rather be napping on a cloud somewhere than be dealing with customers while priscilla is a clumsy earth pony who tries her best but sometimes wishes she had wings like her sister or a horn with magic so that she could have some advantages in life and be braver

I was debating on whether or not i should make priscilla a unicorn but I ultimately decided against it cause i thought her being an earth pony fit her character better thematically lol

Rune Factory 5!

Recently got myself a Switch Lite, and I've been having so much fun w/ it, even if I only have Pokemon Scarlet, Let's Go Eevee, and Rune Factory 5.

Speaking of RF5, Alice seems like that innocent but wants to help and gets serious when she needs to, much like my AJ muse.

Murakumo is practically perfect in every way, and so adorable. The way Misa makes him cower is so cute.

Elsje's boobs should not be that big, I kinda wanted to punt Scarlett in the beginning, and Yuki & Randolph are the wholesome grandparents everyone deserves.

Fuuka & Cecil are simply adorable, but I feel like they seem too young to marry. Probably just their personalities, though. Speaking of Fuuka, it would be adorable if Misa and Kumo treated her as a little sister.

Ryker, you are trying too hard to live up to your family's name. Chill.

Martin needs a break, but he's okay. Reinhard I have no complaints with.

Lucy is pushy but okay. Priscilla is sweet and I just want to spoil her.

Beatrice, hon, you're not fooling anyone. It's obvious you're a princess. No complaints though-she's sweet.

I don't even care about beating the game at this point-I just like to play.

Thoughts on Rune Factory 5.

So I played through to the credits in about 30 hours and the main story line is ACAB as hell. Very nice. It seems like there's a ton of post game, though, because there's still so much I haven't unlocked, plus a lot of typical farming sim achievements I'm nowhere near.

Mechanically this is a game that's only going to appeal to you if you love grindy farming sims AND pokemon style anime JRPGs with monster catching. So, I'm directly in the center of that nexus, but I can tell this game would be really frustrating to anyone else. It's clumsy and not intuitive and the rewards aren't very carefully balanced and I'm not able to attune to the day-night cycle very well.

The graphics are straight anime style, which is fine for me because I don't like long loading screens. Simple graphics are better. But uh. Like with many anime things. The character designs are very bizarre, sometimes. Lots of cat girls and werewolf men and ... it's just very dissonant. It would be a great fandom to write smut for but it seems like there's only a couple hundred fics on A03. :/

I might try to blorbo some of these characters but there's not a lot there to blorbo. Each NPC seems to only have one remarkable trait, and no greater depth. Ryker is sleepy, Julian gets lost a lot, Simone is weirdly sadistic about her doctor activities, Priscilla is shy, Martin works too much, Lydia is lazy, Yuki loves bread and her husband, Palmo is wacky and alliterative, Mikasagi is overly dramatic, Elsje is also very sleepy, Murakumo is friendly and kind, Darroch is a blacksmith and that's about all...

hi about the post you put in the rune factory 5 tag -- to answer your question lucy's mother is literally in the town, she's the mayor and doctor. also elsje is around said mother's age (so at least ~40) due to being childhood friends with her and thus has no problems running a restaurant on her own. her and priscilla's parents just live in the capital

Oh I didn't know Elsje was that old. I probably could have figured as much since she's not a bachelorette, but I didn't know she was like mom age, I thought she would be closer to Priscilla's age. I haven't gotten to know the townsfolk that much, so far I only know of Yuki, Simone and I think Livia being friends and teasing Darroch as a kid.

Lucy seems to have more of her dad's traits (pale hair and green eyes).
