I just realized I never posted these, my contributions to the Epithet Erased Charity Zine, Great At Zine!

I restarted my Mera piece 3 times because I just didn’t jive with the first two versions. I’m glad Glass Sunrise was what I went with though, even if doing a fake stained glass frankly killed me.

I’ve had this piece tucked away for months but now I can finally share the piece I did for the Zinobiology Homestuck Zine on Twitter [Check it out here] With the theme of the zine and what I was assigned with, I drew some snakey cherub in the style of a field guide journal ^^

This was an interesting project to be a part of and there are some really talented folks who worked on it as well, do check it out! [ Deviantart / Ko-fi ]

Interrobang Publishing presents: Travels to Far Away Places (and Some Not so Far) THE ZINE! Volume 1

Open submissions for writings and illustrations about travel.

strangers you’ve met abroad

that oddball you sat next to on the plane

a faux pas you committed in a different culture

the things you forget to pack

a recipe you learned on vacation

souvenirs you collect

how visiting a different culture changed your outlook

did you get lost?

emotions evoked when you’re about to land at a new destination

your favorite airport

readjusting to life after a big trip

Submissions are not limited to any of these topics. Works can be as abstract or descriptive as you would like. Have a cool idea, or one you think is lame, submit it!

Illustrations can range from small doodles to ones that can be scaled to 4.25x5.5" or 8.5x5.5", note, full page illustration sizes have a .25" bleed factored in, meaning .25" all the way around will be cut off during trimming. Submit illustrations as a jpg of 300 dpi via email

Writings- limited to 400 word count and submitted in a word doc via email.

As a contributor you will be credited in the zine in whatever way you would like, eg. anonymous, The Refrigerator Gator, Hank Evens, you get the gist. If you do not specify, a nickname will be made up for you. Also as a contributor, your occupation or your portfolio site can be listed. For contributing you will receive an issue of the zine!

Submission deadline is October 31, 2015
