Swishbeam is terminally awkward and feeling uncomfortable or emotionally distressed makes him lash out. At this moment, he's still really only friends with his moms. Cringe boy

I definitely think the loss of Grasspaw has something to do with it, and that Swishbeam misses him everyday. But he's also already experienced a war (short lived though it may have been) at a young age that started just because he was born. He's also in a very unique position of being the only cat in his generation who had to fight in the war. Icyclaw and Ivyshine were still babies and Turtle and Ragged werent even born before the fights stopped.

He was the only apprentice in the den having nightmares about blood on his claws.

Hey speaking of greens, how'd that food chopper for salads end up working out?

it works really well! tho i have had two issues that i've run into:

eating more salads means i need to buy salad fixings more often and leaving the house has been a struggle recently so i haven't been eating as many salads as i'd like.

if you want to add chicken, i recommend cooking your own if you're up for it. i've found that the pre-cooked chicken strips you buy at the store are too soft/moist and get mushed more than chopped.

it's also way less effort to grate things if you have those attachments since it takes less effort to run something across a horizontal grater than a vertical grater so that's been nice.

So when I first saw/started playing Tears of the Kingdom, I was firmly in the ‘Rauru (and other Zonai) have goat designs’ group of people, but now (and especially when my friend @runningwolf62 pointed it out) I’m realizing that they’re not designed like goats at all (or at least not solely), but dragons?

The BotW/TotK dragons specifically, because I realize that a lot of the Zonai’s design details are similar or exactly the same as what we see on the dragons flying around Hyrule.

HUGE SPOILERS FOR THE DRAGON’S TEARS QUESTLINE

Using Farosh as a direct comparison:

1. The Zonai seem to have horns, which itself can lend to a reptilian/draconian design—I can’t quite put my finger on it, but they don’t come off to me like goat horns? Uncertain on this one.

2. Both the Zonai and all the BotW/TotK dragons sport the same rather fabulous eyelashes in bright, eye-catching colors.

3. There seem to be details on Rauru’s cheeks/chin that mimic the scale design seem fairly prominently on Farosh on the left. I know for me the ‘billygoat goatee’ is what originally made the design lean goat-like, but having seen the dragons I’m now ????? unsure

4. All the dragons in the BotW/TotK games DO have big, long ears just like the Zonai characters do! This is what threw me completely when it was mentioned since I never had went after the dragons and just assumed from faraway their designs didn’t have any of these elements.

5. Zonai culture seems to have a connection with dragons in the BotW/TotK world. They are the ones who created the ‘secret stones’ after all, and it is through the injection of those stone that turn a person into a dragon. So does this mean that Zonai are related to dragons? Did they create the dragons? (Is that why the Zonai aren’t around anymore…?) That would make sense as to why Mineru was acutely aware of what eating a secret stone would do, but also have it deeply instilled in her that the act is taboo and forbidden. Forbidden by whom, and for what specific purpose? How do they change someone into a dragon?

Though I’m sure there can be other points made both visual and not, I just wanted to toss my ideas out because I am incredibly interested in the idea that the Zonai might be somehow related to the dragons—I just think they’re neat!

You know, I'm not sure we've ever discussed the prospect of Iveta and Luke being siblings. They both have the same love interest though - Zevran - which makes things tricky... although, I can consider the prospect of Luke and Zevran getting together, and then later, in Awakening, Iveta speedruns an enemies-to-lovers arc with Nathaniel. I think that would be fun for her, to watch in horror as her little brother falls in love with an assassin, and then later she does an even more deranged version of that exact same thing. I think I could like that for her.

On the other hand, Iveta's kind of an unhinged freak through most of Origins, and I don't know if I want to make Luke watch her slide a slippery slope straight into hell. Like I can't figure out if having a brother to actively protect would make her morally better or worse. Having that one anchor to the person she was before could help her. It could also make her worse out of desperation to keep him safe!

Think the funniest shit that's happened to me in elden ring was when I opened up multiplayer so @runningwolf62 could help me with Astel.

So we're running through the grand cloister, me in cleanrot armour with Eleanora's poleblade and him in full bloodhound knight armour with the claws.

We get invaded by someone and he's like "run!!" Cuz I am Baby and squishy. We're expecting someone with like bloodbound fang or Morgott's sword, y'know, something painful.

This sorcerer character loads in.

They look at us.

And we look at them.

And they look at us!

And we look at them~!

They got to cast the spell version of Rogier's rapier's ash of war, that didn't go off before two bleed status builds were on their face and murdered them.

Anyway me and Wolf fucking lost it and were laughing for a solid ten minutes after that. We did kill Astel eventually!
