Swishbeam is terminally awkward and feeling uncomfortable or emotionally distressed makes him lash out. At this moment, he's still really only friends with his moms. Cringe boy

I definitely think the loss of Grasspaw has something to do with it, and that Swishbeam misses him everyday. But he's also already experienced a war (short lived though it may have been) at a young age that started just because he was born. He's also in a very unique position of being the only cat in his generation who had to fight in the war. Icyclaw and Ivyshine were still babies and Turtle and Ragged werent even born before the fights stopped.

He was the only apprentice in the den having nightmares about blood on his claws.

Thanks for telling me! Everyone has turned to Drifter it seems xD Cuz all the footage I saw was of Operator!Wally, I didn't even know he could manifest as the Drifter too.

Hey speaking of greens, how'd that food chopper for salads end up working out?

it works really well! tho i have had two issues that i've run into:

eating more salads means i need to buy salad fixings more often and leaving the house has been a struggle recently so i haven't been eating as many salads as i'd like.

if you want to add chicken, i recommend cooking your own if you're up for it. i've found that the pre-cooked chicken strips you buy at the store are too soft/moist and get mushed more than chopped.

it's also way less effort to grate things if you have those attachments since it takes less effort to run something across a horizontal grater than a vertical grater so that's been nice.

What is Warframe?

Warframe is a multiplayer online looter shooter (does it count as an MMO? I don't know what the defining lines are) (I play it solo most of the time) and free to play. (I've only bought... one? thing that isn't purely cosmetic and that was after I'd been playing basically daily for 2.5 months, so I knew by that point I didn't mind spending a little.) Not the usual type of game I'd check out, but it came highly recommended from @runningwolf62 and @deusverve when they were both talking a lot about the game to me back when the latest big story update hit in December (explaining the plot that led us here) (badly) and I was so intrigued by what I was hearing (out of context) (obfuscated on purpose) (confusing) that I downloaded the game

It is the distant space future. You are a space warrior who just woke up after a long cryosleep following the collapse of the galactic empire, and you are resuming your fight to defend the innocent.

This includes committing corporate terrorism to help a labor union get negotiating leverage, throwing fascists into the sun, tranquillizing wildlife to relocate them out of the path of strip-mining activities, and being harassed by cosmic horrors who have a very personal vested interest in you, specifically.

The last big story update sends you to the distant past year of 1999, where you're trying to track down a gay mad scientist who's fighting the same cosmic horror that you're fighting. There's a mall with arcade games including a racing minigame. There's a scrungly cat who lives in your home base (you inherited both the cat and the home base in the divorce) (not your divorce) (gay mad scientist divorce) and you can also do interior decorating in the home base, so I kitted the cat out for pride month.

(Her name is Kalymos.)

The Old Man Yaoi Cosmic Horror plot was what initially got my interest but Wolf and I have a similar taste in games and characters so I knew if it had so thoroughly captured him, I would probably be interested. It took me like 60 hours to get to the start of the Old Man Yaoi Cosmic Horror plot and I was enthralled most of the way there but this current arc really has its hooks in me. I can't say that it's a game for everyone (if I did not have two people holding my hand through figuring out some mechanics I would've been having a lot more problems) but damn it's sure got me.

Rewatching Taxiu because I'm obsessed with how beautifully animated it is, and wanted to say, whatever's happening in the scene where Mariner is talking to a crowd and Wardbler and Lain look worried and horrified, and Sycamore (the King's Ex!) looks heartbroken and furious, while it looks like Mariner's reached his breaking point? I'm so invested in them so I'm so excited for how that's going to emotionally devastate me. I love Mariner a lot because he's someone who asked for absolutely none of this, the man with no ambition who ended up king, and in charge of the person who killed the only person he cared about? Man. I cannot wait to see what's happening there.

THANK YOU!! That specific scene won't be for a looooong long while (its in Act 3 of the story) but its a plot point that makes me crazy. Very very excited to show the entirety of Mariner's arc
