E1 - Invasion - A new enemy finds his lady.

So in the Legoverse, there's a seperate Queen Amidala lego, and this is the lego that is there for the escape from Naboo, greeting Palpatine, etc. But also the Senate scene and the parade scene. So we have to pretend it's both the real and the decoy queen.

But since there's a Padmé lego, I mostly pretend this is Sabé so the other night I self indulgently sent techinally not but also techinally decoy queen Sabé and Ep1!Obi-Wan hunting for kyber bricks. It was frusterating but also cute!

I like imagining them sneaking around after the parade, having one nice day away from… life. You know how Sobiwan fics go. There was one cute screenshot of Obi-Wan jumping across the stones in the river and Sabé watching from the bridge but she was so small that I didn’t include it. And of course they had to take a trip to Tatooine for a hundred fics sakes.

… I will stick by these two are Rey’s maternal grandparents until my dying day.

Moodboard: Two Days In the Desert

The two days' ride across the desert had been hot and exhausting…The two nights, however…

Originally I intended my @sobiweek contribution to be a fic set between chapters 21 and 22 of Born of Light, but alas I didn’t get it done. I wanted to do something for this event, though, so I made my first-ever moodboard in the hopes of actually inspiring myself to write the actual fic! In the meantime, I hope it provides scope for the imagination of what’s to come. ;)

I attempted to write a thing for Sobiweek. It was meant to be light, happy, fluffy and very very shippy.

It is none of those things. But it does hint at a very sad sort of  Sobiwan and I did write it so here it is.

Actually, when news broke about that, I wanted to write up a summary of the story and throw it at Disney like “make mine! make mine!” It’s actually an idea I’ve had for a while now. I’ve always wanted to explore his psyche during the Imperial reign. 

I don’t know if I’ll actually get to writing it, but who knows?
