Different game end conditions that I think should be more of a thing:

Failmate: Like a stalemate, but both sides lose.

Whalemate: Like a Failmate, but both sides get eaten by a whale for a while and begrudgingly come to terms with each other in order to escape and survive. Nothing to do with microtransactions, Unless it does, idk.

Sailmate: Like a whalemate, but both teams are prepared for the coming tide and sail safely off in boats instead, possibly together into the sunset if thematically appropriate.

(Metaphorically or not)

Railmate: Like a stalemate but instead both teams resolve their conflict by building a robust distribution network/infrastructure.

Bake-over: the match was either too long or was getting stupid, a chef of high renown has arrived with a brilliant, towering cake. There is enough for everyone and they all stop fighting.

“Sword” of done: A neutral “default” ending reached naturally by many gamers, wherein the ending is almost but never reached either out of frustration, distraction, etc. Can be seen as the hero’s soul being sucked into their weapon so It’s more powerful for the next (true) hero in line or just an ending where you kill enemies endlessly while frolicking into the sunset.

DISCO: everybody dance now!...!

Slant end: Like a usual end but things are a little bit off, something is hilariously out of place and/or glitched; should have major lore ramifications but often games aren’t considerate enough to recognize this type of ending officially.

Fourth wall Escape: the main characters realize their fictional nature and use some narrative means to escap, either entirely or into another world(!)

So my crew's newest member has finally been born. And they're a cusp.

We're setting course to meet the Aivera college near the equator so we can get a proper astrologer to draw up the best chart we can get. Captain wants the kid to grow up with as little confusion as possible. I can get behind that, but it means we won't be sailing anywhere near an intercept with Thersin, so I'm not going to see my old sailmate again for at least a season :(

Everyone needs to chill. It was not going to be a lot of non-species in the group. There were a lot of limitations. Sailmates and clockwork meece have their own group too, and the meece are an semi-open species? This was for people who like to rp in the group, which only a small group does, and a majority wanted the non species to join. I don't see what is so wrong when there was a limit on the non species? For people that liked to participate in events and roleplays?
