Yuki Kajiura LIVE vol.#20～Japanese Seal 20th Special～ Saitama Performance - Big Changes

Coming as a surprise to no one, Kaori has announced that she is expecting her first child. YAY, happy for her and her husband! For a while now, she has looked quite heavily pregnant (especially in all the latest pictures) and has had fewer stage appearances during the tour, resulting in quite a lot of fan speculations. While I didn't feel like participating in those speculations, I was also starting to wonder when the big announcement would come. Now it's finally official!

Kaori will be taking a break from her live activities to focus on her family, this also includes the final performance of Yuki Kajiura LIVE vol.#20～日本語封印20th Special～which is scheduled to take place on August 3 in Saitama. Curious to find out how this will affect the Asia Tour leg in November. Since her due date is in autumn, she might be performing again later this year but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

We have some great news for the upcoming Saitma concert though! To make up for a missing vocalist, Yuki Kajiura has decided invite Hikaru as a guest! To accommodate for the changes, the setlist of the main part of the concert will be adapted to include some Japanese songs (we can probably expect some Kalafina covers!). This sounds amazing, wish I could be there for it! I am also hoping that Hikaru will be joining the Asia performances if Kaori is still taking a break at that point.

saitama as a hero of no means, all ability.

I believe that hero's can be sorted on to a spectrum of a twin axis, that being the access of Means and No means and Ability and No ability.

superman and batman for instance while they are not having Sloppy Vigilante Makeout seshs, are polar opposites of the ability to no ability spectrum but nearly on the same level of means. come at me all you want but if you have artic real-estate that you can Reasonably call a fortress, i do not give a singular shit if you have a 9-5 and a new york apartment, you are a 1 percenter.

in fact you may find that their are vary few heros that will peak Below the no means chart. few but not none. for instance we have the incredible hulk and some instances of spiderman. both of whom live on the access of No Means and All Abilities. as their source of heroics does not come from what they have but What They Can Do.

They cannot afford to pay for someones cancer, but they can make sure their last days are ones they can depart with.

they cannot afford an anti weapon but they can Punch the thing until it stops moveing.

now what does this have to do with saitma?

to me, saitama is the ultimate example of a hero of No means that is beyond ability. They can "Do" everything but they are still bound by the rules of society in the fact that their unlimited power means jack shit when it comes to budget.

throughout the series he is utterly broke, living in a shitty run down apartment in what is essentially hyperdeath ally constantly needing to find coupons and deals to fill his fridge. he is a broke collage student that dresses up to play hero, a job he is objectively bad at then clocks out and wallows in what is essentially a barely kept together depression nest until the big thing shows up and he has to punch it.

to be more succint

saitama as a charecter cannot develop any sort of success that may translate into better financial or societal means for himself.

why?

Because its fun.

Actully why?

because as a character he is someone that represents what a hero should be. heroics as a civic duty, a volunteer duty. the nobility in the degradation that saitama wallows in allows him to be a true hero amongst influencers and somewhat overpowered wannabes.

Obligatory Valentine's Day GenoSai thingy!!

On Valentine's Day, it was hectic as all hell. Really. Like, "one-shot potential" kinds of hectic. Genos was on his own for a majority of the day because he not only got called in by the HA (he threw a verbal fit over the phone before eventually heading out), but also had half of his specially-made treats for Saitama destroyed on the way back home (he had them custom made a few days in advanced and picked them up after the fight) after a surprise monster showed up and trashed his shit. Saitama, also on his own, was in a rush to get Genos something apart from this very special notebook he spent months in advance learning how to make because he last-minute thought it "wasn't enough". He couldn't decide what would be good enough until hours later, because he discovered something... interesting. Something that would require him to hide his head underneath his hoodie to avoid the humiliation of being recognized.

Fast forward to when Saitama gets home. Luckily, Genos hadn't arrived yet, so he quickly got to work setting up the living room for dinner. The kotatsu is decorated with candles and set for dinner, the apartment smells like cinnamon and baked apples (one of Genos' favorite scents, he'd come to find out), there's some premium meat being cooked to perfection in the slow cooker, along with some veggies, and rice in the rice cooker, too. The apartment is spotless, a small box of chocolates are set on the very corner of the kotatsu while his gift notebook in a pretty messily-wrapped box underneath. Blinds are shut, too, for an optimal romantic atmosphere.

Overall: very intimate and romantic. Saitama's hopeless romantic soul preens at what he managed to accomplish on such short notice, and he hope Genos likes it.

For about a half hour, he sits, waiting for his boyfriend to come home. He won't lie, his heart is racing like mad. He's so nervous—almost to an embarrassing degree.

He's never had a Valentine before. Or a boyfriend before, prior to just a couple of months ago (their 1-Year Anniversary of them meeting, Genos asked to be his boyfriend). Contrary to popular belief, he really did have a pretty unrealistic view of romance and how to handle it. Shaped from romance mangas and novels and movies since the age of 8, he had cliché expectations. Had he dated anyone other than Genos, an equally emotional, intimate, and romantic guy, it would've been a little problematic.

But, it's Genos he's with. So, although it's embarrassing to admit, he hopes it'll play just like the movies, and Genos will walk through the door and—

And speak of the devil, here he is. Unlocks the door, intterupting Saitama's thoughts, and gently pushes the door open. The first thing he does is lets his eyes close, smell the air and visibly melt. The cinnamon and baked apple warms his heart and softens his soul, the premium beef and carrots and potatoes and rice make his mouth impossibly water. When his eyes open, he smiles, gold irises glowing brightly as they lock onto his beloved boyfriend.

He beelines it to him, only sparing a glance into the kitchen and setting his bags by the table before leaning down to pull him into a warm, affectionate kiss. Saitama eases into his touch instantaneously.

Genos helps Saitama put the food on their plates and bring them to the living room. He initiates them hand-holding throughout their meal, complimentinv Saitama on the food and laughing with him about the fact Genos planned almost this exact "dinner date" for when he got home.

When Saitama finishes his meal, he doesn't hesitate to pull out the notebook from under the table. Genos breaks down when Saitama tells him he made it from scratch, reaches over the table and kisses him over and over, only to apologize profusely after pulling away because oil got on Saitama's face. Of course, Saitma assures him its okay, don't worry about it, and prompts him to show him his gift so he'd feel better.

Shortly after Genos reveals the tragic fate of his custom chocolate, he reaches into a plate in his forearm and pulls out a necklace with a flat-ish pendant depicting two, red-gloved hands holding Genos' core—very obviously custom made. Saitama's hands shook when he took it into his bare hands, fighting back tears that surely would've just made Genos cry again if he let them fall.

With dinner clear and the gorgeous, breathtaking gift in his hands, Saitama asks Genos to help him clear the kotatsu. They do, taking dishes to the kitchen, moving the lit candles to other counters. Genos spares a moment to dig through the chocolates Saitama left him before turning back around. Steam errupts from his shoulder as he watches Saitama just finish pulling his hoodie off, revealing beautiful dark red, almost maroon lace, accentuating his hourglass figure and bringing an arousing aura that makes the cyborg's brain go wild. Saitama lays over the bare table, eyeing Genos hotly before lifting his legs and hips in a silent request for him to help him take his jeans off, which Genos happily helps him do, settled between his thighs.

Leaning forward for a kiss once the jeans were a off, Saitama stops him. He smiles, holding the necklace up.

"Put it on me?"

And Genos, once again, happily does. And once it's one, he wastes no time in lovingly ravishing his boyfriend on top of their table.

Saitma vs Gojo

Gojo is one of a scarce amount of anime characters that could beat saitama. And quickly, at that. Because of Gojo's infinity, he's untouchable, which is a problem for one "punch" man. While something like a table flip might have a chance at damaging Gojo since he can't phase through objects and debris, he may use his insane speed to get behind Saitama. Plus, Gojo could end the fight in seconds by using red, domain expansion or hollow purple. TLDR: Gojo is untouchable and could kill Saitama in a single move.

Office AU - Saitama x Genos

(Aged up characters)

Saitama, 35 year old office drone at a large corperate company. After working for 10 years he's only managing to be promoted to TL (team leader) of his department; co-workers and higher-ups taking advantage of his position to steal his accomplishments and push him down the ladder. Plus! losing all his hair at 25 and everything else he's just gone numb.

As he contemplates turning in his resignation for the umpteenth time for the day(though he doesn't have any slush funds to depend on). Enter high energy and serious 29 years young upstart Genos, a employee sent over from another branch after supposedly causing some tension in the other branch due to his attitude and un-bending and robotic like personality.

Desite being over qualified hes been handed off to Saitamas department. How troublesome. Saitama has no idea how to handle over serious passionate types, but whats even more troublesome...

is how embarrassing this guys praises and compliments are!!!!

It doesn't seem to matter how mundane or simple his instructions or advice is, this Genos guy acts like he's imparted some sort of great wisdom. He's even taken upon himself to start looking after him at work, bringing him lunch and all sorts of other unnecessary like he's a personal assistant.... or as his annoying coworkers like to put it.. his WIFE.

Poor disgruntled Saitama can't seem to catch a break, maybe he really should just resign
