I started rewatching supernatural, I'm having a great time!!

So you know in s3 e11 (groundhog day) when sam finally figures out that gabriel put him in a time loop gabriel literally says this "This is so not about killing dean. This joke is on you, sam. Watching your brother die every day, forever." Like you see he says FOREVER and we know that he was there on ever tuesday, so he basically told sam that he wants to spend eternity with him. Like i know i'm overthinking it but this, this is real

Sam takes a few more steps until he realizes that Gabriel is not by his side. He turns around and there he is, squatting on a reasonable distance from a stray cat.

Sam rolls his eyes a bit and just waits. There's no point in trying to hurry Gabriel, they've been through this and a short man will move only when he wants to.

"Pspsps," Gabriel says and grins wide when a cat lazily turns it's head towards him.

Gabriel makes sure cat looks at him and blinks slowly. Ever since he learned that this presumably is the equivalent of a kiss, he's bugging literally every stray cat he meets.

Sam can't help a warm smile that spreads across his face. Gabriel makes a few more attempts and when the cat blinks slowly in return he basically bounces on his feet, turns to Sam with shining eyes, looking like a kid on a Christmas morning. Sam's heart flutters.

When Sam’s churning soul was jammed back into his body after over a thousand years of being incorporeal, the wall of Death's design had never stood a chance against the changes Sam's soul had undergone to survive the Cage. Upon waking, Sam struggles with being able to cope with the drastic change from being ethereal to being part of the physical world and the strangers he is greeted with. His memories of the human world were absent upon waking within his body. Sam doesn't know how he had ever been part of the physical world, nor how to carve out a spot within it like the youngest archangel had managed to. His empowered soul was lost without the memories of his human life, and he was unsure who to turn to in a world full of strangers that tried to imprison him.

Too bad for him, he'd almost prefer it over being caught in close quarters with a Winchester who just fucking wants to talk.

we’ve been watching season five. remember people thought sambriel was a thing?

Look I don’t hate Destiel, I’ve written a fanfic for it, but I don’t like it either (same with Sambriel). But I don’t believe Dean was exactly in love with Cas, or at least shouldn’t have been with everything that has happened, and I feel like the ending was forced to please the Destiel stans. And no I’m not doing this to prove that “Wincest is real” or anything, you can ship whatever you want, but hear me out.

The one thing that would never work for me is how would Dean love Castiel with everything Castiel had done to Sam specifically. (HEAR ME OUT- i’m fully talking here in whatever way you want to understand it, platonic or romantic)

•Castiel was the reason that Sam got out of the panic room and released Lucifer, which lead to the many problems in season five and the strain between Sam and Dean’s relationships furthering

•Chance is that Castiel most likely knew about the voicemail

•Castiel took Sam out of the cage without a soul, and while he denies this being a purpose and claims he had no choice, this was deliberately when he was working with Crowley behind and against the Winchesters

•Castiel broke Sam’s wall which led to Sam hallucinations that almost got him killed, and even if he took them away later, he still did this on purpose

Why this bother me so much is because Dean’s world revolves around Sam, and I’m just saying this because it what the series shows us, Dean does everything for Sam, even if it means his own happiness (or sanity, or life) is at stake because his whole life has been revolved around “protecting sammy” since he was a little kid. For Dean, Sam is his brother, son, best friend and soulmate (don’t @ me because this is fucking canon to the show) So why would Dean love Castiel the same way when his done that to Sam?

And this is not even mentioning what Castiel himself has done to Dean, and vice-versa because Dean has said and done things to Castiel as well (“Baby in a trench coat” “Castiel is like a Dog”) which may I ask how is that in any way how you tell someone or express that you love them?

What Destiel Stans don’t sometime seem to understand is that this show isn’t about Dean and Castiel, is about Sam and Dean. The show has always been about the two brothers (Castiel wasn’t even supposed to be a main character in the first place) thats why I’m honestly glad that finale ended like it did. The show ended how it started, just two brothers on a hunt. There was no Castiel, there was no Jack, it was just Sam and Dean, because its their story being told.

Again, I don’t hate Destiel, ship whatever you want (don’t spread hate though, because then who’s the villain here?) but I just don’t understand how Destiel (or Sambriel which is another can of worms, especially with what happened in mystery spot) could work

Had the most horrible idea.

Gabriel would be the most “hello fellow kids,” out of everyone. Like he would try to stay relevant with trends and crap and he would 100% try to master the slang because he’s just so interested in the ever evolving colloquialisms.

He’d be in his lil’ bakery and saying “nah, nah, it’s chill, home-slice. No need to worry, I gotcha,” “DUDE! The DRIP today!! You rizzing someone up, man? What’s the deal?” And Sam’s just there, waiting to drive him home, horrified. Just like ‘did I… Did I marry that guy? Like THAT guy? Am I even sure?’
