✿oh my baby boy
❀first off: angel. 100%.
✿because u are his angel u feel me
❀he can't go a day without telling u
✿then also just the basic baby
❀but mostly when he wants something from u or he's apologising for dumb stuff he's done
✿puppy eyes and all
❀and also during sexy time
✿it's his most used name for u there
✿fight me on this
❀big on his own self made nicknames for u
✿for instance: u fell down the stairs once?
❀"hey, stairs, how you doin'"
✿and just silly ones like: boo, pookie, apple of my eye
❀he's weird like that c'mon we been knew
Tumblr media
♢ꜱᴀꜱᴜᴋᴇ ᴜᴄʜɪʜᴀ♢
✿now this guy is a wild card
❀he'd prefer ur name through & through
✿but he'd slip in a casual babe sometimes which makes ur knees weak obviously
❀because he barely ever calls u that
✿if ur married he'd only call you his wife
❀doesn't even let you answer questions on your own sometimes just so he can hit them with
❀"well, MY WIFE, thinks you suck ass, so.."
✿during sex he can be quiet mean
❀I DONT THINK in the derogatory way but more in a teasing way
✿"c'mon, sweetheart, look at me."
❀when ur just about to black out??
✿but like i said
❀not big on pet names but he'll use them more often if he knows u enjoy it <3
Tumblr media
♢ꜱʜɪᴋᴀᴍᴀʀᴜ ɴᴀʀᴀ♢
✿pretty
❀just pretty bro.
✿not ALL THE TIME, especially not in public as i don't think he's big on PDA
❀but in the comfort of ur own 4 walls? definitely
✿now don't HATE ME for this but,,,
❀woman. and brat.
✿but only in petty situations, like when ur scolding his lazy ass and he hits u with a "go easy on me, woman, i just woke up."
❀or u've been going on his nerves while he's working
✿,,i'm busy, brat.''
❀in bed tho???
✿love or doll
❀i'm almost CERTAIN.
✿like,, can u imagine?? in his dumb fucking charming voice ???
❀PFFF i'm on my knees
Tumblr media
♢ᴋɪʙᴀ ɪɴᴜᴢᴜᴋᴀ♢
✿now this fucker
❀teasing names through & through
✿ur shorter than him?
❀"hey, shortie, need help?"
✿ur taller than him?
❀"hey, giant, how's the weather up there?"
✿he's a DICK ok (affectionately ofc)
❀but he can be sweet too i promise
✿he's having fun with calling u bunny during sex or simply baby
❀also ???? "okay, boss." when he's been annoying u all day and u finally snap at him?
✿he's a menace with nicknames i'm telling u
Tumblr media
♢ꜱʜɪɴᴏ ᴀʙᴜʀᴀᴍᴇ♢
✿you probably guessed it and bully me if you'd like but,,,
❀bug or lovebug
✿come oooon he loves his bugs AND he loves you?? it fits PERFECTLY
❀not one to do it infront of other people either but in your private space he just wouldn't stop calling you one of these
✿i also see him using the regular honey but the abbreviation so hun because it's short and sweet and he doesn't like those long ass names
❀apologies if ur name is long LMAO mine is too tho
✿takes the hun into the bedroom but prefers a gentle love while having sex
❀shino's not a sweet talker in my mind, but the pet names make up for it FOSHOU
✿ALSO big brain idea i just had:
❀i think shino can't fully express his emotions verbally so before going on missions he definitely writes u letters and that's where he's blooming
✿''u keep me going everyday, sunshine.''
❀and it doesn't even matter if you have a bubbly personality or not
✿UGH lovesick fr
Tumblr media
♢ɴᴇᴊɪ ʜʏᴜɢᴀ♢
❀this pretty princess doesn't even know ur name when ur alone with him
✿ESPECIALLY when ur texting
❀sweetheart, love & darling
✿he'd make u fall in love over again whenever he calls u one of those i'm just saying
❀because he's always so sincere when he's talking to u it drives me crazy just thinking about it
✿during sexy time too, he would NEVER
❀& i will die on this hill
✿NEVER use any degrading names for u
❀ur his baby don't make him do that
✿even when ur fighting, he'd always address u in such a kind way i'm actually going insane
❀"have you had dinner yet, dear?"
✿ sedate me pls
Tumblr media
♢ɪʀᴜᴋᴀ ᴜᴍɪɴᴏ♢
✿AAA this guy
❀soo,, like father like son,,, angel
✿u can't change my mind
❀being the kind hearted person he is, it just fits u can't tell me off
✿but i will also say he'd use some funny ones in private because we all know he's just a silly lil guy deep inside
❀i'm thinking toots & peach
✿especially when greeting u !! like ''ey, toots, how's it going?''
❀during sex he will be quiet awkward at the start of ur relationship, settling in angel as he's most familiar with it at first
✿but after some time he'd pull a babydoll or gorgeous on u
❀i mean,,, i'd cry but idk about y'all
✿oVERALL he loves using pet names and wouldn't be opossed to u calling him some sweet ones as well <3
❀call him handsome and he'll go through the roof
Tumblr media
♢ᴋᴀᴋᴀꜱʜɪ ʜᴀᴛᴀᴋᴇ♢
✿AHEM
❀so this man,,
✿at the start of ur relationship he's such a shy lil bean so he'll only use your first name
❀but once he's been with you long enough he gets so so comfortable
✿starts of with the regular baby because u are his baby aight.
❀his most frequently used one too i'd say
✿but then he'd go like
❀"hey, beautiful." "y'alright, sweetheart?"
✿and idk about u but i'd faint
❀HE KNOWS ABOUT HIS AFFECT ON U TOO
✿uses it against u during sex SO OFTEN
❀grunting a "there y'go, darling." into your ear with a sly smirk on his lips
✿i'm (s)creaming
❀but he's a very private person so don't expect too much of that in public !!
✿a side from a "yes, ma'am" when u tell him not to die on a mission <3
Tumblr media
a/n: i hope this doesn't SUCK ahemm,,, and i'll see you beans next time bye bye x

Naruto au where Jiriya comes back to Konoha to adopt Naruto like he promised to do but somewhere along the way they get Tsunade back in the village and Tsunade becomes Sasukes caretaker (She adopts him but neither are comfortable calling eachother mother and son yet so they stick with "The Lady in my house who cooks bad" and "the brat who doesn't appreciate good meals when he sees them")
Then at some point when Naruto and Sasuke are genins Jiriya and Tsunade get married and now Naruto and Sasuke have to live together. There's a really emotional scene of Sasuke having to say goodbye to his old home and its like "oh god its really all over they're not coming back I'm not coming back I can't just leave them behind I need to let go but I just can't do it" and Tsunade calls Sasuke her son for the first time and he totally doesn't cry!!!
Forest of death but Sasuke Sakura and Naruto already know who Orochimaru is, Sasuke knows absolutely not to trust him so the curse mark doesn't really affect him too horribly but it does lead for a lot of tension in the group. Also after being the girlboss she was born to be Sakura decides she can't be protected anymore and bc Tsunade is like, right there she asks her if she can be trained and Tsunade says yes obv. Hiruzen dies purely because i hate that guy but Orochimaru also dies to Jiriya and Tsunade also because I really really hate him too.
Theres the time when Kisame and Itachi visit Konoha and Itachi hears Naruto refer to Tsunade as his mom and Sasuke as his brother and hes GOT to know what's going on so he spies on them and learns that Sasukes been adopted but he sees this moment of Tsunade announcing she's pregnant (what a shocker she was 🤏 that close to never having to worry about pregnancy ever again but Jiriya just couldn't keep it in his pants for another 2 years, the manwhore.) And itachi sees Sasuke realising he's gonna be an older brother and being super happy about it saying he's gonna be the best big brother ever (Hades hangs his laundry on the bar its so low all he's gotta do is not kill everyone and he's already better than Itachi) and Itachi is like "ah man but how's he gonna get stronger there's no hatred in there i need him to do my suicide for me!!!" But Jiriya noticed he was there and confronts him a little later but see Jiriyas a little smarty pants and has been living in Konoha for years and always knew there was something fishy with the massacre and danzo so Jiriya just bluffs his way to the truth (Phoenix is that you?) And he's like "look Sasukes ur brother but he's my son now, he has enough nightmares and enough trauma and enough trust issues to last him a lifetime feck off and if you wanna die so bad then kill yourself and don't use your brother as a tool for ur suicide" <- I may be projecting a bit but ANYWAYS Itachi and Kisame have to leave Konoha bc Naruto is under watch by Kakashi, Tsunade and Jiriya and they are NAWT winning that fight.
Skip to shippuden era Sasuke v/ Itachi fight but Itachis been skipping out on his meds!! (He did it because he's a nerd loser guy who thinks "oh man sasuke isn't angry or filled with hatred and overall living a really terrible and unfufilling life he's probably so weak i need to stoop down to his level") Oh no so hes really super sick and Sasuke has picked up a lot from Tsunade so he knows Itachis time is near and although Sasuke really wants Itachi dead he's like "fuck it, dude you absolutely ruined my life and gave me trauma I'm never ever going to recover from sometimes I still wonder if my friends or family are going to turn around and kill me do you know how fucked that is why the hell did you even do that I don't want some bullshit excuse tell me" like he absolutely chews that loser (derogatory) out and Itachi is like, "kk ill tell u everything" and Sasuke is RUINED and he takes like a long 30 minutes of silence between the two just sitting there for Sasuke to go like "Itachi, I don't... think I forgive you. But I understand why you did it. I would have done it too" And its very emotional!! That moment is all Itachi needs bc he was sort of barely clinging onto life as it is and now that he's got peace he can finally die and they share a really sweet moment before he goes :(
And when Sasuke gets home and cries, (this time he can admit it cause he's a big boy now and understands it's okay to feel) to Tsunade he calls her his mother for the first time and its so ahaishahabnabsjsjnd
Anyways they all lived happily ever after the end no wars no nothing all over bye bye

I love when Sasuke use the name of one of the members of Team 7 as a derogatory term to tell other person they are behaving stupidly.
"Sakura, you sound like Naruto"
"Kakashi, you sound like Sakura"
Please people, he can only deal with one dumbass at the time.

hiii 5, 9, and/or 17 for the ask game! for whichever series you’d like :-)
hii moth!! thank u for the free will to be a hater
5. Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?*
KAWOSH*N simply because im a petty person and if you lived the horrors of the yaoi poll then you KNOW. wishing every fan never finds peace AMEN.
now serious answer, i gotta say sat*sugu < i think its the fact that lately they are everywhere and i have seen some horrors coming from their fandom on twitter than now i shudder
9. Most disliked character(s)? Why?
i cant answer the full list… its too long so i will give the short answer that wont get me stoned 🔥 which is shikamaru. another hatred that was fueled by the fandom, like when i first read Naruto i simply did not care for him he was a random background guy to me but his fans are certainly are something (derogatory)
17. Instead of XYZ happening, I would have made ABC happen…
instead of killing nobara and sealing gojo i would’ve simply killed gojo there 😕
and since im killing white haired guys, i would’ve had sasuke killing kakashi at the bridge

Something about Kakashi telling a 12 yo genocide survivor things like "Let it go", "Calm down", "Forget about revenge" with a derogatory tone as if Sasuke is wrong to feel anger really ticks me off. Did he really think that 5 mins sad excuse of a heart-to-heart conversation going to dissuade him from the goal of his life?
Honestly I would be down for talking about how Kakashi's trauma and childhood and depression greatly affected him if people would start acknowledging he was not the best teacher.
And even if you were, it's still training children to kill and to sacrifice everything to serve the government. So it's kind of hard to be a good teacher anyway.
But yeah, I hate that scene. I hate it even more when they run into each other years later and he thinks how far Sasuke has fallen and I'm like---
you didn't even try. Naruto was a dumb kid who wanted attention and recognition, so we can kind of excuse how he didn't care at all about what Sasuke wanted back then and only focused on keeping Sasuke in the village so he can keep his rival.
But Kakashi knew Orichimaru wanted Sasuke. He knew Sasuke just went up against someone that defeated Kakashi himself. He knew Itachi killed the Uchiha clan.
Kakashi should have done more. The scene was like Sasuke was a grown adult and would only tolerate some words or that they've been trying to convince Sasuke for so long. They never tried. They didn't even know. Naruto spends more time with his talk-no-justsu to villains than trying to understand Sasuke.
But I get it. Shounen anime and Naruto needed a rival and a goal. Being Hokage was more of a statement than anything. Naruto never studied for it, never had moments of thinking he needs to see other lands to understand the role of a leader, never thought to learn about the previous hokagas
HAH
So it had to happen. And sometimes when things HAVE to happen they aren't written the best. But I will say this was pretty good. It's understandable why Sasuke left. It's understandable Kakashi barely tried at all.
I hate Kakashi's lack of effort, but I wouldn't say the writing was bad.

I love SasuNaru and hate SS but the derogatory way you refer to Sakura and how you misinterpret her character to fuel SNS kills your blog for me. It gives insecure energy. We don’t need to act insecure when our ship is so much better so why make the SNS fandom look threatened by SS? Sakura is an interesting character on her own and it pains me that the shippers of the only ship I like don’t see that.
Derogatory way? I never refer to Sakura as c*nt, b*tch or anything like that. Is Pinky derogatory to you?
You didn't even say how exactly I supposedly misinterpret her character. Nothing I say about her is incorrect. Also you are misunderstanding that the reason I write posts about her is because of SS. No. It's because portion of the fandom still blames Sasuke for SS and treats Sakura as his victim when that is far from the truth. They say Sasuke should die so Sakura could be freed. What a joke, when she's the only person who wanted this whole ordeal. So naturally I need to point out the truth about SS and her character. The same way I need to point out that the shinobi system is bad or that Tobirama wasn't unbiased in his treatment of the Uchiha. What next, someone tells me I'm derogatory and mean towards Tobirama when I point out unflattering things about his character?
Sakura is interesting for sure. Because she is intentionally written to be unlikeable and a negative character, Kishimoto didn't even bother hiding his resentment of her by the end. And in his interviews he doesn't hide it either. You would notice this if you actually paid attention to how her character is written. Her character follows the same patterns and she never truly changes or grows, in a manga where most characters do. I'm also wondering why you are speaking in plural when referring to SNS, from what I see plenty of SNS like Sakura. I'm just not one of them.
You don't have to read my blog if it bothers you what I say about her, you're not obligated to. Just like I'm not obligated to go easy on Sakura. I'm not Kakashi afterall.

Ram watches Naruto. Status upade #1.
So the entire series has been added to youtube for free. I thought I’d watch the series and give my thoughts on each episode so far. I didn’t bother watching it when it aired back in the 00s, no reason not to today.
----------
Episode 1: *record scratch, freeze frame* “Hi, you’re probably wondering how I got into this situation.” Why is the Japanese music more 80s than I remember the 80s being.
Why is the sacred scroll full of dark ninja powers done up with less security than a small town museum.
Why do these ninjas paint targets on their own backs.
AUP, there it go. well, genuinely touching reassurance from this Iruka guy. Aaaaand this prick got stomped. I hope you got pissed on twelve times.
Episode 2: “Who are you?
I’m you but with money and social connections.” Naruto gets a look into a mirror and determines he hates part of himself.
Two dumbasses sneak into a women’s spa, film at 11.
Episode 3: Fucking teenagers. Also fucking lactose intolerant people being diehards for dairy. Spoiled milk my ass, they’re just like that.
Episode 4: ♪ Baby won’t you ring my beee~eeee~eellll, ring ma bell. ♫. Kakashi is kind of an asshole but I can see where he’s coming from. But dude no more preteen prostate exams come on wtf.
Episode 5: Oh what a supreme fucking copout episode. They ran out of time. “Yay you broke ALL the RULES and instead of expelling you if I was just a little bit more of a bastard of a teacher, you pass.”
Well at least the children will learn the hard way that real life authority just be like that, and honestly that’s probably a more important lesson than teamwork, tbh.
Episode 6: here comes Ig and Oog. Why is this dumbass trying to STAB the poison out? I’m upset. Oop, here comes Guts McCowprint to deal with Commander Red Trump. I’m kind of mad at this bridge builder but well can’t be too upset.
Episode 7: Kakashi stunting on the COVID Masks Before They Were Cool Crusader over here.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“WHERE DID HE GET HIS SPECIAL EYE!?” it’s his brand, Sasuke. I dunno where’d you get what your momma gave you. Dumbass. Where do you usually get eyes?
Episode 8: L’s carved into flesh with kunai. Outsmarted by a dumbass and outperformed by a brooding prep schooler.
Episode 9:
Tumblr media
I have a feeling Naruto getting jealous of younger people with more skills than him will be a running theme of this franchise. Someone take these sewing needles away from this masked twink, please.
Episode 10: ah, good. World building. Wait why wasn’t this a day 1 lesson walking up trees or anything else seems like a fucking amazing technique. aight.
there are may derogatory words to describe this needle-thrower and I’m not sure which ones can be safely said while being accurate anymore. I’ll call them Maidy Boy, since he want to clean up after Holstein Spotted Guts.
Until next time.

The familial component of Naruto is such an important thing to notice. From what I have ingested of Japanese cinema, the importance and cultural significance of family is specifically emphasized. From Ozu to relatively modern film makers such as Takahata, ranging from one genre to another, they took and shaped the element of familial influence on one's moral psyche, socialisation, and decision-making to a very ideological, epistemic plane. Remember Grave of the fireflies? That was another piece of media that had me disturbed for a long time after I finished watching it.
Kishi has kept many traditional elements in his creations. Naruto gives a lot of impressions to the viewers but one of them is easy to miss. A lot of Asian audience might take it for granted because they have similar cultural values. For Western audience, it seems that they could misinterpret or underestimate the familial element because they don't share the cultural values in the same light.
I don't claim to know much about Japanese culture, I am mostly talking about what I could infer from their cinema, and there are many things that are specific to Japanese visual language. A large number of these elements, conceptual and visual, were present in Kishi's creation as well. For eg, pillow shots. Then there are cultural elements in narrative, such a the element of family. It's a huge deal. It has much deeper socio cultural roots than an average viewer might be able to guage.
Almost all the major characters in Naruto are shaped in accordance to their familial bonds. It doesn't matter whether they align with the state, but they clearly value family over nearly everything else.
Sasuke was shaped by the need of his father's approval along with his complex relationship with Itachi. Kakashi was shaped by his father's suicide. Naruto was shaped by the immense vaccum in absence of a family. Tsunade was a proud Senju and this carefree woman turned into another beast after her dear brother's death and then changed again after seeing his reflection in Naruto. Iruka, Konohamaru, Hinata, sand siblings, the Ino-Shika-Cho trio, Asuma, you name it.
I don't find it surprising that Kishi chose to portray Sakura in a what would be generally considered a derogatory light when she is shown to mock her own family, especially because her parents are hinted at being quite affectionate and attentive. Same goes for the scene where she mocks Naruto for being an orphan, along with the way Sasuke reacts to it. It was Kishi's way of setting another layer to the characters in terms of how important it is to have a family, no matter how distant.
This is also the reason why this element is clearly present in vote 1 fight where Naruto wonders if Sasuke was like a brother. Familial bonds or lack of them motivate the characters. Loneliness borne out of lack of family is what first draws Naruto and Sasuke to each other and these famililal conflicts between them (Sasuke's rejection of Naruto's understanding of family, his goal of revenge against his brother which Naruto also doesn't approve) guide their story which is central to the main plot.
This is also the reason why Naruto, as an adult, considers the entire village his family. Their approval was important to him and now, he got it.
And while I am talking about approval from family, it also means something that Naruto had Itachi's best wishes, protection and blessing while Sasuke had both Kushina and Minato's, Kushina's was even before Naruto was born. This is more important than you think. These are some fully fledged moments that if skipped, wouldn't mean much to the storyline. But they were placed strategically. This is not random. Deliberate thought went into it.
It is also important to notice that Naruto is Sasuke's one and only, fully endorsed, stamped, sealed and gift wrapped by Itachi. What does that say about Sasuke who without fail, prioritises Naruto over Sakura and Salad? Chuckles..
I don't remember Hinata being in this discourse, except that she gets horny over her brother's dead body while holding Naruto's warm hand,...... disgusting. Minato meets Sakura at the war although where this whole scene is written as comedic relief, all it's counterparts had a touch of serenity and sanctity, the two qualities that are almost always associated with portrayal of familial bonds in Japanese media.
Kishi was nothing if not thorough with Naruto and Sasuke's dynamic and development. If he weren't, I wouldn't be here. You and I have nothing over Kishi as their biggest shipper.

Can you do a quick ranking of Naruto characters about who is most to least possessive over their alpha? Like who would growl away other alphas and stuff..
Hmm, this is interesting... I picked a collection of my favourite boys to rank.  Let’s see:
(In a long term relationship)
Least~
Gaara - Far into a committed relationship, it honestly doesn’t even occur to Gaara that you could ever cheat on him, or be seduced by someone else. You and him are a team that no one can split up. Gaara is very gentle, and he doesn’t think that possessiveness has any place in gentle love. He is also confident that if you need help from unwanted advances, you will tell him, he never assumes anything. He doesn’t see other omegas as threats to your relationship at all.
Shino - He suffered from some insecurities very early into your relationship, worrying that you would eventually realise that he was weird or creepy and decide to leave him, but now he trusts you more than anyone else. You chose him. You’re everything to him and he’s everything to you, he knows that, and he knows that your other relationships/hobbies don’t undermine that. He hates conflict and possessiveness means conflict to him.
Naruto - Another one who genuinely believes it’s not possible for you to cheat on him or love anyone more than him. You love each other too much! There’s no room for anything else! The only reason he’s a little further up the list than Shino and Gaara is that Naruto feels more entitled for his alpha’s attention. If he feels neglected for any reason, Naruto gets very clingy. Naruto is pretty protective as well, but only when someone is outright rude or derogatory against his alpha which I would say is not possessive.
Kakashi - He’s too relaxed to be particularly possessive.  He’s happy to vibe by himself while you do whatever you need to do and he expects the same curtsey in return. However, he’s a little quick to assume that other people’s intentions are bad when they talk to you. If strangers approach you, particularly strange omegas, he’s quick to assume that you want his help to drive them away. Sometimes this is helpful, sometimes it’s not. He doesn’t do it maliciously, he just struggles to see anything other than the worst in most people sometimes.
Iruka - This man trusts you more than anything and is rarely possessive. He actually prefers a very independent alpha because he himself is very busy and doesn’t have the time for an alpha to be clinging to him constantly. However, because he is so busy, the time he has is precious, and when his alpha spends that precious time with other people? It makes him more upset than he’ll admit. If he gets an evening off and you have other plans, he might invite himself along and remain stuck to your side for the entire time.
Itachi - He is a little possessive in some ways and he hates that part of himself. He doesn’t want to feel so possessive but he struggles to suppress the urges. He cannot stand if you smell like someone else. He hates that. His insticts go nuts when he can smell unknown people on you (but he never has a bad reaction to you smelling like your friends and family of course.) Itachi also feels happier when he’s next to you in general. It’s not because he thinks you’ll do bad things if he’s not there, he trusts you completely. Honestly, he doesn’t know why he feels like this, but he does. If you ever tell him to tone it down, he will. The last thing he wants to do is make you uncomfortable.
Shikamaru - This boy is not jealous at all (he’s far too confident for that), but he is very possessive. His alpha needs to tell him to knock it off sometimes because I do think he can go too far. He’s a pretty entitled person who likes to snoop and assume things. If phones existed in the Narutoverse, he would find it a fun challenge to try and guess your password, not because he doesn’t trust you, but because he wants to prove he can do it. He likes to keep a hand on you when you go out together. He likes to always know your schedule. If you tell him to stop, he will, but he’ll also need reminders, at least at the start. It’s something that gets a lot better as he gets older and more mature.
Kiba - He blames it on the canine traits. His possessive traits come down to jealousy, I think, but they have a very playful tone to them. If some other omega flirts with you, he will not hesitate to make out with you in front of them. If he’s drunk, he’s been known to literally bite his alpha if someone else is flirting with them. He has no shame. He also pouts when you have to go somewhere without him. He likes to be with you as much as possible.
Sasuke - He’s very insecure which causes his possessive behaviour. Sasuke doesn’t like any situation that makes him feel like he’s not the most important person to his alpha. Of course, he most likely is (baring any of their possible pups), but he has trouble seeing and believing that. He doesn’t like when you go and spend time with other omegas one on one. Not because he wants to control you, but because he’s afraid that you’ll realise how much better that omega is than him and leave him. Obviously this isn’t healthy, so Sasuke’s possessive behaviour will decline as he gets therapy and moves to a healthier place mentally. But even as he gets better, he would still be very clingy because that’s just what he’s like when he loves someone. It’s a much healthier clinginess, based on his love for living with his family unit.
Most ~
Let me know if you agree hehe <3

anti honesty hour. thoughts on kakashi >:)
well okay hmmm.
I guess I hate the bastard (derogatory). he's kind of a one-note/flat character. he just there to train the important characters which even that he struggles with. he couldn't even keep Sasuke in the village. plus he let his teacher's son suffer alone for a super long time. it's not like he had anything going on other than the occasional mission.
he also killed his teammates and just goes on to keep killing people without giving it much thought "/
Can't really relate to him since I have more going on than just like idk killing people and neglecting students. and he is a huge asshole to Gai.
I guess a couple positive(?) things I can say for him is he manages to come across as pretty cool most of the time and he is like the perfect picture of good health. he has pretty clear boundaries with his work.

SAKURA GENTLY RAN HER fingers across the soft, barely there pinpricks of hair at the back of her head. The knots had been too large to untangle without time and copious amounts of conditioner, and while she lamented the loss of growth, she found she quite liked the style. There was enough hair left on the top of her head that it could easily cover the uneven lengths of hair clinging to the bottom half of her scalp. She peered at herself through a small hand mirror Tsunade had provided her and didn’t like what she found. She looked too pale, malnourished, and the once healthy glow she had when she was free had vanished. She looked every bit the prisoner they had made her to be.
Any hope she had previously shriveled up and died when she looked at the crimson mark upon her forehead. When she touched it experimentally, it zinged! into the back of her brain where she felt strange bolts of electricity bounce back and forth within and route back to the mark. It was a very harsh reminder that she was no longer Sakura Haruno—she was someone else, someone who killed her teammates because her pride wouldn’t let her admit to her own weakness.
She gave Tsunade the mirror and pointedly ignored the curious look the Hokage sent her out of the corner of her eye.
“Your trial will be as straightforward as it can be, given the circumstances.” Tsunade tucked the mirror into her pocket with a sigh. She looked tired, as well, as she always did since she had become Hokage. Using sake as her coping mechanism didn’t do her any good, either, despite her younger appearance; Sakura could see it weighing on her, the drag of age and idleness. “I don’t think there’s much you can do in your own defense except to be honest; if you’re lucky, the elders might put you in for an extended prison stay—or they could also execute you outright.”
“Isn’t that what everyone wants though?” Sakura pulled her knees to her chest and squeezed them in an attempt to comfort herself. She didn’t have Naruto to reassure her that everything was okay; he was outside of the village, tracking down an errant Sasuke—his life had boiled down into an endless chase of their former teammate. It was all he could think about the last time she had seen him, his mind focused on dragging him back to Konoha even if it was the last thing the Uchiha wanted for himself. He would hate her, too, for this. “For me to be executed?”
Tsunade frowned. “They want answers, Sakura. The families of the men and women you killed, the wives and husbands and sons and daughters—they all want to know why you did it.”
She closed her eyes, faces flashing through her mind in a quick succession. Yamanaka eyes; Hyuuga eyes; the large frame of an Akamichi, smiling, offering her slices of fruit. “I guess they’ll be disappointed when they learn it was because I lost my abilities and killed them instead because of my own stupidity.”
“You underestimate them, Sakura.” The blonde woman shook her head slowly and gathered up the worn and dirty clothes she had left hanging on the side of the basin. “They’re going to hate you for it. It’s your decision whether or not you give them further reason to hate you even more, or prove them wrong and make up for your mistakes.”
Sakura opened her eyes and stared obstinately at the wall, listening to the words unsaid: if they even accept your apology to begin with.
She didn’t expect acceptance at all.
Tumblr media
When Sakura took her first step outside in months, the sun made her eyes water uncontrollably. It was no longer winter within Konoha—not that she had ever favored it to begin with—but autumn, the trees turning from green to a myriad of shades between orange, red, and yellow hues. The grass beneath her shoes was crisp, on the verge of decaying and preparing for the next winter, and filled the air with a familiar scent she hadn’t been sure she would ever experience ever again. The sun was comforting and warm as it surrounded her in a suffocating embrace, her skin already starting to turn rusty red with a sunburn. She didn’t mind it, though—it was almost a reminder of the life she had lied to keep and lost.
“Sakura.” Kakashi stood, waiting for her outside the doors of the prison complex. He was early and nearly on time, Icha Icha Paradise’s sienna cover just barely visible from behind his back, tucked away into his pocket. He looked as tired as Sakura felt, dark eye bags highly visible against his skin, so much so that it looked as if he had earned two right hooks to both eyes. “Are you ready? Or do you want to bask in the sun some more?”
Once, she might have thought he was teasing. But the look in his eye, the tone of his voice, all denoted that he was serious, that he would risk being late if she wanted to sit in the sun and burn just a little bit longer, to feel the freedom that had been taken from her by her own actions. She considered it, momentarily, looking to the sky. The light burned her eyes and a single teardrop fell from her right eye and slid down her cheek. “No.”
“Alright then.” He looked unsure, then, eyeing the ANBU guards that stood behind her in their respective Raccoon and Panda masks. She had never seen them before until now, but she knew that Kakashi didn’t recognize them, either, and it was most likely a deliberate move on the council’s part. “Let’s go then.”
The walk to the Hokage tower and, consequently, the council chambers where her trial would be held, was not a peaceful procession. People, ninja and civilians alike—faces she didn’t recognize, she thought with some relief, even though guilt gnawed at her heart—screamed at her, got so close that spittle flew in her face when they yelled obscenities at her. When words failed, they began throwing rotten fruit, vegetables, and even pots of molding and old food. Several slices of sour cantaloupe slid down her cheek, juices clinging to her skin, gnats flocking to the scent. Her ANBU did nothing to prevent them from chucking a pot of scalding chicken broth on her, either. They were for the public’s safety, not hers; and even so, they wouldn’t have stopped them even if they had been ordered to, she figured.
When it touched her skin, burned like acid and lit her body on fire, she didn’t scream. Burnt, acrid flesh was not a pleasant odor, and combined with the chicken broth, it sent several civilians away with nausea. She could hear them exclaiming over the stench with their faces pulled into looks of disgust, both at the people who had thrown it (fondly, because it was ‘justified’, however bad it smelled) and at Sakura as she trudged by, her skin livid red and breaking into fever. The flesh of her arm, some of her neck, and flecks on her cheek would scar, if the agonizing pain sending her brain into a white fog was any indication.
Kakashi, walking ahead of her at a leisurely pace, was forced to remain impartial. She could understand him, of course, in that aspect. The village would turn on him, too, and then he would truly have nothing left. His team was disbanded, Naruto had devolved into a man on an impossible mission and false hopes, Sasuke had left the village and become Orochimaru’s apprentice and, afterwards, his killer, and Sakura, his final remaining student, had become his protege, his perfect copy—a friend killer, a ninja killer, just as he was.
Perhaps, Sakura thought as she fixed her gaze on Kakashi’s shoes, fate worked in very obvious, very deliberate ways, and was not as mysterious as anyone ever said it was.
Tumblr media
Sakura arrived at the Hokage tower dripping with steaming chicken broth, mold clinging to her clothes from various entrees of old food, and reeking of weeks old tea that was just on the verge of becoming kombucha. Shizune waited for them, her face harsh and pale and completely emotionless. If she had any opinion on her former friend’s crimes, she gave no indication of it, her mouth pulled into a straight, thin line, her lips as white as her face.
“They have already convened and arrived at a verdict.” Shizune’s dark eyes darted to Sakura momentarily, the pain there deep and unfathomable, and then back to Kakashi, flicking over the ANBU guards and the growing crowd rioting around the entrance of the building. “Her presence wasn’t necessary.”
Her. As if she was a thing to be spoken of, an object. Once that might have angered Sakura, might have forced her into an enraged spiel, but the only emotion she could muster up at the derogatory tone was faint irritation that was suffused by the harsh throb of the burns on her arm.
“Tsunade’s orders.” Kakashi shrugged. He glanced back at her, then at her burns, and sighed. “At least heal her. Those burns could get infected—”
“I am under order not to provide care to Sakura Haruno under any circumstances.” Shizune shifted uncomfortably at that. “As is the rest of the village. Basic necessities, and nothing more.”
Her former sensei said nothing else and Sakura refused to open her mouth and beg Shizune of all people to heal her. She should have been able to heal herself, yet she had not even a scrap of medical chakra to speak of and risked cutting off her own arm in the process. It would probably be preferable to the festering, infected blisters she would gain in the coming days—if she was even alive to experience it.
She suffered in her own silence, closing her eyes against the pinpricks of hot white light that threatened to send her into unconsciousness. It was easy to block out the pain when she was stuck in her head; her pain tolerance was high, but without the help of her seal, of Tsunade’s healing advice and her medical chakra, she was reduced to biting her lips to stop herself from squalling and collapsing onto the wooden floor beneath her feet. Blood flowed into her mouth, metallic and bitter, like the blood that flowed from her teammates’ veins.
Sakura didn’t know how long she stood there in a half daze, flanked by her ANBU and Shizune and Kakashi talking quietly in front of her in short, stilted sentences. Their opposing affections for her prevented them from talking casually; Kakashi’s guilt prevented him from hating her and Shizune’s righteous sense of justice prevented her from offering her even a shred of pity. They spoke in whispers, so she could barely make out what they were saying, but she could read lips as well as any ninja; mentions of war, famine, disease—which made no sense to her, for what could have happened in the span of five months?
“Shizune. Kakashi.” Tsunade’s descent down the staircase, assisted by the wooden handrail, was slow and awkward. She was a little too hunched over, favoring her right hip and leaning heavily on the wall to support herself. Her gaze darted to Sakura. “Sakura. You came here for nothing. The decision has been made. I’m sorry.”
Kakashi stilled to the point that she wondered if he was even breathing. “They’re going to execute her?”
“Execution… would be a mercy at this point.” Tsunade produced a scroll from her pocket. Shizune’s strangled gasp was loud enough that it caught the attention of the ANBU. It was a thin scroll, no bigger than an index finger, and lined with gold and red trim. Sakura had never seen such a scroll in all her life, but with the way Kakashi went pale and Tsunade looked so defeated, she had to wonder what fate could be so awful, so terrible that even her nonchalant, uncaring teacher would appear to be frightened and disgusted. “The orders are clear and the vote was unanimous. Sakura Haruno will be given to ANBU, given a rank within the War Operations party, and shipped to the frontlines by dawn tomorrow.”
Shizune inhaled sharply. “It’s a death sentence in its own right.”
“Sakura isn’t suited for war,” Kakashi advised, voice breaking slightly. “They couldn’t agree on anything else? Not even execution?”
Tsunade shook her head slowly, guiltily. “Execution was too clean for them. A prison sentence was a slap on the wrist. The people wanted blood—so they gave it to them. Let her spill it for the name of the village, for the people they lost, they said.”
“And what if she survives?” Sakura couldn’t ignore the thread of concern that wove through Shizune’s question. “What about after the war?”
Tsunade looked at Sakura, then, her mouth turned downwards into a deep frown. “Then she may be free; but she can never return to Konoha.”
Nothing else needed to be said. Tsunade passed the scroll to Kakashi and vanished back up the stairs to her office, Shizune following without a glance back. The ANBU removed the chakra cuffs on her wrists, and while it might have felt like a cooling sensation when it returned to her system, all she felt was pins and needles, her nodes brimming to life with malicious energy. She rubbed her wrists tenderly, avoiding the burns as much as she could, and felt Kakashi’s hand land on her shoulder, squeezing it gently.
“Come on.” He veered her towards the back exit, where the crowd wouldn’t be able to see her. “We’ll go to my apartment, fix you up, and grab some supplies. Then… Then we wait.”
Wait for her inevitable departure and then, most likely, her death, of which Kakashi would probably never hear about.
“Kakashi-sensei?” She croaked. She could feel tears threatening to spill down her cheeks, burning her lash line and a knot forming in her throat. “Can I ask you for a favor?”
He paused, hand reaching for the knob of the exit. “Of course, Sakura.”
“Take care of my parents for me, please.” Sakura blinked rapidly to clear the tears from her eyes, the pain in her arm dulled to a numb sensation. If she hadn’t lost all of the nerves in it, she would count it as a blessing, even if she deserved it. “Without me, I don’t think they…”
“Don’t worry.” Kakashi ruffled her hair with a playful hand. It wasn’t quite as effective as it had been when it was shorter, but she could feel the affection within it besides. “I’ll watch over them, Sakura, I promise you.”
“Thank you,” she whispered, and he pushed open the door, sunlight spearing through the crack and enveloping her in its oppressive warmth once more.
That night, if Kakashi had any complaints about Sakura sneaking into his room and hugging him tightly, sobs wracking her lithe frame for the first time in months, he didn’t say anything. If she noticed him hug her back, tears running delicate rivers down the striped pillowcase he laid his head on, she gave no indication, pouring her soul out for possibly the last time in the safety of the arms of someone she loved.
Dawn broke, and with it, so did the remnants of Kakashi’s heart.

Thinking of writing a Team 7 fanfic where Kakashi thinks of himself as the wettest stinkiest dirtiest mess of fur Konohagakure has ever seen, so when Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke are presented to him as a group of famished dogs (derogatory), he immediately becomes impossibly protective.
He is unable to act like a proper father, due his many traumas and issues, and that's something good because he is not exactly sure how he could ever heal the parental wounds of his students. However, he has too much experience living on the darkest and coldest parts of the world, so at least he can teach them a thing or two about it and hopefully, please oh please, he can help their hunger shape into something less self-inflicting and all-consuming.
“Dogs come in packs” sounds like a good name.

Why I Love Sakura Haruno
This is not responding to any hate, it's just me sharing my opinion.
Tumblr media
She Wasn't Born Into A Prestigious Clan
Sakura was born into a weak, unpopular clan and still became very powerful. She started off with no kekkei genkai or special abilities, and there wasn't really anything she could do. She was almost as hopeless as Rock Lee was as a child. This shows how hard she truly worked to get where she is now, even if she can't compare to her peers that were born with greater potential to become powerful. For example, Sasuke was destined to awaken a Sharingan and Naruto was both an Uzumaki and a Jinchuuriki. Sakura had nothing. Still, she became quite powerful. I think this is particularly stunning, and it's genuinely praiseworthy.
She worked for her power, and she worked hard. When Sakura was a child, she was completely weak. She had her smarts, but she lacked battle skill. We were shown her hard work with Tsunade later on. Although Sakura did start out with the upper hand having great chakra control, it doesn't mean that her journey to achieving a Yin Seal wasn't a long one. Even other Medical Ninja with exceptional chakra control weren't able to do this.
Sakura sometimes even passed out because of how hard she worked. It was shown once during her training with Tsunade, and another time after she healed an injured person. She truly pushed herself to the limit, and it's definitely a reason to at least respect her. I really enjoy characters who had to work harder for their power.
Tumblr media
Intelligence
Sakura's definitely intelligent, even if she isn't on par with Shikamaru or Kakashi. In classic Naruto, she explained various things to her teammates and was able to answer all 9 questions in the Chunin Exams without cheating. In addition, these questions were said to be too complicated for a mere genin. This didn't stop Sakura.
In original Naruto, Sakura lacked battle skill since she usually focused on being book smart. She knew practically everything in her grade and even things above her grade. Kakashi even calls Sakura Team 7's sharpest mind. In classic Naruto, Sakura even reminds me of Hermione from Harry Potter. Her intelligence definitely shined through more than anything in her early years.
Sakura was also very intelligent throughout the rest of the series, her analytical skills said to be better than Sasuke's Sharingan's by Sasuke himself. It's notable to mention that she usually depended on outsmarting her opponents in order to trick them. It's also notable to mention that this tactic often worked.
Tumblr media
Personality
I really love Sakura's personality. She's
intelligent, confident, and caring. She has a very quick temper, but she loves her friends and puts their needs above her own. I'd say that Sakura's weakness would be her feelings, and it's great to give a character a flaw that hinders them. For example, Hinata. Hinata's weakness is her gentle nature. In my opinion, It makes her more likeable. I like that Sakura has this weakness of letting her feelings get the best of her from time to time.
Sakura is very kind. We all know she is hotheaded and short-tempered, but her kindness does shine through. Although he might've been the enemy, Sakura didn't deny to help someone who was dying during the war. Even though her peers told her it could potentially be a bad idea, she took him in while being cautious at the same time. Sakura is shown being very kind to strangers in particular.
Sakura is also very caring. She cares about Naruto and his dreams to become Hokage, claiming she wouldn't let him die in the Great Ninja War and feeling dejected when he is hurt. In addition, She threatens Sai when he deems Naruto weak, as she has immense faith in the blonde. She cares about the man who became both a traitor and a criminal. What Sakura had for Sasuke was true love, even if it was one-sided. She didn't give up on him because she cared deeply about him and had hope he could still be saved even after he did so many unspeakable things. While it deterred more as Sasuke committed more horrible crimes, I still think Sakura always had a sliver of hope.
Sakura cares more about everyone than herself, and this is an upgrade from when she was young and selfish. She puts herself in harms way, even if it's just for the tiniest distraction. This was shown when she served as a distraction in the fight against Madara, running at him head-on so Sasuke and Naruto could attack. While this can be a liability since a Medical Ninja needs to survive, it shows just how much she cares. It's notable that this might not even kill her because of her quick regeneration. What can I say? Sakura's not perfect. But you know what? She has heart and that's something I admire tremendously.
Her confidence is certainly noteworthy. Sakura is very confident in herself. You can easily tell Sakura is confident just by watching her scenes in the Anime or reading them in the Manga. Sakura has trust in her abilities, and that's also something I tend to favor. I love how she is able to assert herself as well as be certain about her actions.
Her short temper is another one. This is a hit or miss, and is a big reason most people don't like her. Sakura is very hotheaded. She usually gets angry when Naruto voices something derogatory or is perverted and punches him. Most people consider this an act of violence or abuse, but I don't. I mean, you can't deny that he deserves it sometimes.. Her anger dies down pretty quickly, and she ends up brushing off Naruto's statements and smiles. I think this adds a little bit of spiciness, character, and imperfection. Short-tempered characters often bring forth comedy and are interesting and exciting to watch. This is another part of Sakura's personality which I love deeply. But, like I said before, this is pretty much a hit or miss and some people do not respect this.
Sakura is also determined. In The Forest Of Death, she takes on enemies much stronger than her so she can protect her teammates until they wake up. She needed a lot of help in this fight, but it's exemplary that she put herself in danger for Sasuke and Naruto. In addition, her determination is also apparent when she asks Tsunade to be her sensei. She works really hard until she finally becomes powerful. She even acquired a hate for losing after her training, making her intent on defeating her opponent.
Tumblr media
Abilities
Medical Ninjutsu is a favorite of mine. I've always wanted to be involved in medicine, so I appreciate all of the techniques and helpfulness shown in Naruto. I also enjoy watching Sakura and Tsunade's brute force be put into play. It's always exciting, not to mention Taijutsu is another favorite of mine.
Sakura is one of the best medical ninja out there. She mastered a rare technique at a very young age. This is the Mystical Palm Technique. Sakura was able to master it in roughly three months, while other medics weren't able to master it at all. Amazingly, she is also able to form a Yin Seal, which is even more rare than the Mystical Palm Technique. As I said before, even Shizune (A very skilled Medic) could not form the Yin Seal.
Furthermore, She has various powerful healing jutsu such as the 100 Healings Jutsu. The 100 Healings Jutsu allows Sakura to continue fighting while her body heals itself. This means she does not even have to stop to think about it or weave handsigns. In my opinion, this is a very useful and interesting jutsu. Sakura can withstand deathblows using this technique.
Speaking of the 100 Healings Jutsu, Sakura saved up chakra for three years. At one point in time, Tsunade forbade Sakura to perform surgeries or battle. This is because building up chakra in order to form the Yin seal drains the user's normal reserves of chakra. However, Sakura is actually able to divert some of this chakra back into her normal reserves and she is able to perform surgeries and fight again. It's unknown how she accomplished this, but it had to take some hard work and focus. It also had to take some intelligence to even think of it.
Sakura was very supportive during the Pain Invasion arc and the War arc. She summoned Katsuyu, who traveled around to aid fallen citizens and shinobi in both arcs. She successfully did her duty and mended the wounds of many people. Countless citizens would have died without Sakura's expertise and dedication. Every Medical Ninja had to weigh in greatly for these two arcs, showing just how serious they were.
As for Taijutsu, I think it's amazing how both Sakura and Tsunade fight. The women obtain their monstrous strength from transferring chakra into their fists and sometimes their legs. Another Taijutsu user, Choji, was able to defeat Jirobo by transferring his chakra into his fist and punching him. This proves just how effective this technique is. This also requires a vast amount of skill in Chakra Control, something that Sakura was shown having from the very beginning. In addition, Sakura is pretty good at evading attacks. I guess she was just destined to gain monstrous strength.
Tumblr media
Growth
This is commonly brought up. Sakura used to be weak, annoying, and selfish. All bad traits. As Sakura works and betters herself, she eventually becomes a powerful woman who thinks of others above herself.
In the early episodes of classic Naruto, Sakura badmouths Naruto. This is a line even Sasuke knew was going too far. After Sasuke calls her annoying, Sakura is able to sit down and sympathize with Naruto. She knows partly how he feels now, and vows to be nicer to him. In Shippuden when she is older, she always put her faith in Naruto. She would never badmouth Naruto again, and got angry when others such as Sai did. By this point, Sakura truly cares for Naruto and understands him more than she did before.
Another thing substandard about Sakura in classic Naruto would probably be her love towards Sasuke Uchiha. This was a typical 13-year-old crush and you can't deny it got annoying easily. She was obsessed with Sasuke as a young teen, but grew out of it once she got older. She has always loved Sasuke, but she was more calm and less boy crazy. There are scenes where Sasuke causes Sakura to blush, but that's nothing compared to how she acted as a young teen. Her feelings develop into true love, even if she only had a crush on him because of his calm attitude and good looks before. She truly cares about him and wants to save him in Shippuden, even if she doubts it sometimes.
Unlike when she was younger, Sakura often cares more about others than she does herself. This is shown a few times throughout the series. As I said before, she usually uses herself as a distraction so her teammates can attack. Moreover, she is not as selfish as she was regarding her feelings. She now takes other's personal feelings into account instead of her own. While she still does focus on her feelings sometimes, she's not entirely egocentric as she was before. Great Development.
Now on to her power. Most don't deny that Sakura was utterly weak during Classic Naruto, but in Shippuden we were able to see how strong she had gotten thanks to her hard work. She gained brute strength, evasion skills, and advanced Medical Ninjutsu. All of these are useful and supportive when in battle. Sakura doesn't need to be rescued as often as she did before, and it's amazing she finally became a bit more independent as well as more powerful.
Tumblr media
Bonds
Sakura is close friends with the two main characters, so of course her relationships come off as likeable. She is very supportive of our protagonist, Naruto, and puts a great deal of credence in him. Even if she couldn't, Sakura has always tried to understand and sympathize with Naruto. She believes in him and is there for him if he might need her. She does lash out at him sometimes, and he can be unknowingly rude to her, but not every relationship can be perfect. Naruto is determined to keep Sakura safe and is in love with her for quite a while. I think her relationship with Naruto is more notable than her relationship with Sasuke. Seeing Naruto and Sakura together is never a bad thing.
Next, her relationship with Sasuke. This is probably the most obvious one, as she is married to him. A big part of Sakura's motivation to get stronger involved bringing Sasuke back to the village. Sadly, she was not strong enough to match up to him and instead trusted Naruto would save him. Even when she tried to kill Sasuke, she couldn't do it because she loved him too much. Sakura had very deep feelings for him, even if that love was only one-sided. She has always wanted to be acknowledged by him since her youth, much like Naruto wanted to be acknowledged by this village. Finally, Sasuke did acknowledge her. He conveys that she is now someone people can depend on. Additionally, Sasuke accepts that no matter what he did to her she was always going to love him.
I feel like this next one is unpopular, but I adore the relationship between Sakura and Sai. Sakura started off angry at Sai for calling her ugly, but later tried to be more open-minded. This failed after Sai insulted Sasuke, of course. Later, Sai wished to learn more about human bonds and Sakura showed compassion towards him and aided him in this quest. Sakura and Sai's relationship is pretty sincere in my opinion. She helps him to understand people and bonds more, and they even rescue one another and share intimate moments. Not to mention Sakura showed interest in Sai.
Next is her rival and best friend, Ino. From the very beginning, Ino and Sakura were shown to be very competitive towards each other. It wasn't really surprising that we later found out they were childhood friends. Sakura was ridiculed for her large forehead, but Ino encouraged her to embrace her forehead rather than cover it with her bangs. Sakura continues to be shy about her forehead, and Ino constantly had to tell her she was just making it a big deal. Sakura and Ino become close friends, Ino helping her to become more confident around others. Eventually, Sakura decides to tell Ino that she has a crush on Sasuke. They become rivals at this point, competing in everything. Despite this, there are times where they really show their care for eachother. One of these moments include Ino fixing Sakura's hair after she cut it in the Forest Of Death. Also, let's mention that Sakura wanted to be like Ino when she was younger. If that isn't cute, I don't know what is.
Finally, her relationship with her senseis. Kakashi and Sakura are very understanding of each other. Kakashi is very protective of his student, reassures her, holds her in high regard, and never judges her for her mistakes. Sakura in return worries for him, shows him respect, defends him, and isn't afraid to tell him about her feelings. This is exactly what a sensei and student relationship should look like. A teacher who never belittles the student and a student who respects the teacher. Furthermore, there are many characters who understand Sakura, but Kakashi really takes the cake with this one. He is the one who understood her feelings and the reasons behind her mistakes.
Now the next teacher: Tsunade. Tsunade is really the one to thank for Sakura's strength and skillful Medical Ninjutsu. Sakura and Tsunade respect one another, and Tsunade compliments her for her achievements. Sakura always listened to Tsunade, and took her battle advice. Moreover, she also inherited some of Tsunade's views and ideals. Although Sakura was weak when she first started training, Tsunade acknowledged her potential and took her under her wing.
Tumblr media
Teamwork
Sakura is proficient in teamwork. Whether it be with her squad or one other person. Chiyo and Sakura made a great team, as Sakura made up for Chiyo's weaknesses and Chiyo made up for Sakura's. Chiyo did not have enough strength to destroy Hiruko, but Sakura did. Sakura had trouble evading Sasori's fast attacks, so Chiyo took control of her body. I really admired the way these two worked so well together. Another notable team involving Sakura would be her and Obito. Obito and Sakura worked hard to retrieve Sasuke from an alternate dimension. Obito was the one who could open gateways to the other dimension, but he did not have enough chakra to do so. Sakura helps out by activating her Yin Seal and pouring her chakra into Obito. With this, Sasuke is able to save himself.
Tumblr media
She does stand in the shadow of others, but Sakura is a phenomenal character. I personally feel her flaws and mistakes make her relatable, which makes her a character that you can be comfortable watching. I feel bad when I see Sakura being hated on for her tiny flaws but never given the benefit of the doubt. I believe this is because she is the main heroine and is judged and looked at more than the other women. In all honesty, Sakura's strengths shine through more than her flaws. I feel so inspired when I watch Sakura or think about her character. She proves you can change yourself for the better. She proves everyone makes mistakes. She proves you can truly be confident in yourself. And last but not least, She proves it's okay to show emotion. She's amazing. Truly.
Thank you for your time. If you dislike or even hate Sakura, I don't mind if you share why in the comments or in a DM! I respect everyone's opinion, and all I'm asking is for you to respect mine.

Yes that's what I meant. Karin had genuine feelings but they were not AS DEEP as Sakura's so she wins out. Sakura cares that much to save Sasuke from the darkness and Karin did not. So when you don't want to compare them both because you think it is tasteless towards Karin's feelings is confusing because Sakura has the deeper love is fact nothing tasteless about that statement. Like the said SK would have equal chance of canon if Karin and Sakura's love was equal but that isn't tru
Firstly, that’s exactly not true. Your actions are not an explicit indication of how deep your feelings are in comparison to someone else. At one point, Sakura was trying to kill Sasuke in order to free him, and moments later she had gone back to thinking that he could still be saved, and the depth of her feelings did not change from point A to point B. And don’t even get me started on the nature of someone like Itachi’s actions, who didn’t want to save Sasuke from his hatred, and instead opted to use Sasukes hatred to hopefully turn him into a hero, despite the obviously genuine love he felt towards his brother. Karin not actively trying to save Sasuke from the darkness is not an explicit indicator that her feelings are more shallow, especially when considering that the motivation behind both her and Sakura’s actions were completely identical.
Secondly, my defensive stance on this originated from the Anon saying derogatory things such as how SK is apparently a joke, a crackship, and how Karin’s love was meaningless. All of which was nonsense, which only added to my labelling of this whole topic as tasteless.
Thirdly, let me ask you a question - If someone were to ask you who you thought Hinata loved more between Naruto and Hanabi, or who’s love you thought was deeper between Obito’s for Rin, and Rin’s for Kakashi, or who you think loved Sasuke more between Itachi and Sakura, then how would you respond? Because I don’t like comparing the depth of people’s genuine love for others. Love is not a competition. I will gladly compare what was obviously a crush (like Ino’s for Sasuke) to what was obviously genuine love (like Hinata’s for Naruto), and say that Hinata’s affection was deeper. However, when both feelings are portrayed as genuine love, then I’m simply not going to make a comparison because there’s nothing to compare between the love itself.
