Polls will start to be posted within the next week or so.
Bracket list under the cut!
UPDATE: LIST CANCELLED
*Starred shows have multiple theme songs or I have combined shows in a franchise in an effort to include as much as possible. These will have preliminaries built-into their polls on the first round. This is how it works: 1. all of the songs will go into a poll together against one other show; 2. the COMBINED votes for those songs will determine which show wins that poll; 3. only the top voted song for that show/franchise will move on, if the show has won the poll. (If you are confused it will make more sense when we start, I promise!)

Sir Joshua Reynolds (English, 1723 - 1792), Tysoe Saul Hancock, his wife Philadelphia, their daughter Elizabeth and their Indian maid Clarinda, previously misidentified as George Clive and his Family with an Indian Maid, 1765, oil, 140 cm x 171 cm (67.3 in x 55.1 in); Gemäldegalerie, Berlin, Germany.
"But, although this is a family portrait, the fourth character included in the representation stands out among the rest: it was not common to include service personnel in family portraits; Comparing it, for example, with Goya's painting The Family of the Dukes of Osuna, painted in 1788, the viewer realizes that the presence of the slave is very unusual in this type of painting. The painter represented the nanny, but he ostensibly lowered her compared to the rest of the characters: the parents and the girl are standing, while she appears kneeling and the father looks at his wife and daughter, the girl and the mother look at the viewer, while the maid lowers her eyes, all of these traits indicating her inferior social status and her submission to the family she serves. If she had been white, surely she would not have been painted together with her masters; that was usual in noble houses, it did not represent a sign of superior social status. But our character in question was Indian. She wears Indian adornments, and not only her dress, but also the pale girl's, in silk, with bangles and veil, testify to the fact that faraway India plays a part in the family's life."
