Okay, I’ve been thinking about the Splatoon 3 trailer because why wouldn’t I and I’ve been thinking about Grizz Co. as it is very suspicious in the trailer (if no one had gathered that yet, check the very end of the trailer).

Get this: Grizz Co. is all about the golden eggs right?

What if it wasn’t just the eggs?

Remember the “Save our Salmon” post?

In the latest trailer, it has been discovered that salmonoids are immune to a new substance known as “fuzzy ooze/ink” and even have the ability to eat it.

What if the true objective was to eradicate Salmonoids?

If they were to eat the “furry ooze/ink”, the enemy’s plan (most likely Grizz Co.) would fail.

Technically golden eggs are also what salmonoids hatch from (correct me if I’m wrong).

During a Salmon Run shift, we have to kill all of the salmonoids that try to attack the player and steal their eggs.

This means what inklings and octolings that have worked for Grizz Co. are aiding in his plan to initiate the “Return of the Mammalians”.

Does this mean I’m going to stop playing Salmon Run?

Salmonid siblings Lee and Kami are here to give an important SOS (SaveOurSalmons) message :O Since Nintendo made that post in new year, I can't stop thinking that maybe this is gonna be the plot for Splatoon 3 and it's really interesting!

I imagine the case where salmonids find themselves under a bigger threat they can't beat, so they have to go to their old rivals, inkling and octoling, to ask for help. Maybe Marina notices this before others, so she goes to help but never comes back, then agents 4 and 8 (the player - I don't wanna be a new agent again, lol!), together with 3, Pearl, the Cap'n and the Squidsisters embarc on an adventure to save Marina and the Salmonids!!

I think a plot like this one would be great; a new style for the stages, challenges and story for the hero mode!! Besides, this will refresh the series, giving us a new reason to fight out of the Zapfish and Dj Octavio (and having the salmonids as friends would be cute, don't you think?)

Similar to sharks, orcas play an important role in keeping the ocean and animal populations healthy & in balance. Sadly, the 74 remaining southern resident orcas in the Salish Sea are currently starving to death due to their prey, the chinook salmon, also being at an extremely low population number. There are 4 dams in the Snake River that are preventing the salmon from repopulating and thriving as they typically would. The US Army Corps of Engineers continues to move Pebble Mine one step closer to reality in Bristol Bay, AK. Bristol Bay’s fishery supports 14,000 jobs and a $1.5 billion commercial and sport fishing industry. And these are not just AK-based jobs, these are local jobs too. 

A mine of this size and scale will decimate the landscape, pollute the water, and destroy our native salmon stocks. Stocks that we rely on. 

Pebble Mine can’t come close to this - not to mention what we’ll be left with after they leave. I can’t image a worse situation for Alaska.

Should Pebble’s permit get a rushed, inadequate review? The answer is NO!
