Originally i hate the mc, cuz i HATE the way he thought of sayori, i think he was rlly mean,

(I know he obviously cared ab sayori, and i know he was sweet sometimes, i literally have the same love language (acts of service) as him so i definitely noticed, but still, i feel like caring about her is js the bare minimum)

And i also thought it was really really weird to immediately enter the club and want to rizz them all up, i’m also pretty sure he canonly looked under natsuki’s skirt which is weird

I get what you mean about MC caring about Sayori at a bare minimum level, it certainly does seem like that from time to time. But I do think its not him not caring much, it's more him not feeling the need to go out of his way to show her that he cares. Bc he doesn't know about Sayori's hardships, in his eyes Sayori has never been better. Ive already made a post about how tragic MC's and Sayori's friendship is that goes more into it

I agree that him trying to rizz up the girls immediately would be a weirdo thing for him to do, if it wasn't his sole reason for existing. In base game (well he isn't in the side stories (not on screen anyway) so idk why i differentiated that lol) he exists solely for the player to choose the girl of his liking. He isn't really a character, more of a game mechanic. So, as weird as it is for him to just... immediately want to date the girls before even getting settled in, it never bothered me that much. Then again, as much as a non character he is Dan does give us some slight personality we can see in the nooks and crannies of the text. So, he isn't a character but also kind of is 👍

Anyway, im glad you like my stuff lol! Drawing cute girls 24/7 is fun and all but drawing MC once in a while helps with avoiding the monotony of it. He's my little emotionally dense dumbass blorbo

So here's an insightful thread of all the human characters from the Kirby mangas or other media that existed either before or besides Ado/Adeleine (and Neichel technically)!

Get ready. This will be a long post and will need to be 2 posts.

Nana: A character from the first ever Kirby manga. She's a waitress at a restaurant (possibly even her own restaurant) in Dreamland and is Kirby's best friend. She's described as a tomboy and gives Kirby both advice and items such as the energy drink to help them out. Curry is a specialty at her restaurant (and it's possible she even created the super spicy cury), and she has a special spice that apperently makes the food from her songs real. She was also added to the manga because the author (Sayori abe) felt like it.

Thorn queen: Also from the first Kirby manga, she works for King Dedede as one of his 4 henchmen. She's said to hate cute girls and has attacked Kirby and, more specifically, Nana with thorns (which were porcupines).

Nana's grandpa:

This is believed to be Nana's grandpa, also from the first manga. There's not much to be said about him.

Misc. Villagers:

The final characters from the first manga. Very little to be said about them, they're just random villagers who live in dreamland.

Old man:

This guy is from the second Kirby manga and apperently just sells clocks. Not much to say about them again.

Little girl:

This little girl is from the Japanese educational Kirby and Mario vhs. Idk much about them, either. I think Kirby just asks them if they know where the puppy's mom is, and she says no and goes back to possibly playing hide and seek.

Lavash:

I refuse to say her full name, but she's from the German Detective Kirby comics. I think she hired Kirby and turned out to be a disguise? Idk.

Annette:

Another girl from the Detective Kirby comics. She also hires Kirby and later dies.

That's not a joke. That's actually what happens.

Dr. Hubel:

A guy from the Detective Kirby comics. I think he used to work for the Villain, but that's literally all I know.

Dr. Meinholt:

A villain from the Detective Kirby comics. I think he just brings video game characters from the Kirby universe/series to life? Idk it's confusing.

ok i wanna share the story on how i got grounded for a long time

so basically september of last year, i had gotten a brand new sketchbook and decided to draw sayori from ddlc

now, at the time, my parents didnt know i was into that stuff so i didnt show them

but when my dad walked in and asked to see a drawing, i showed him sayori. i was thinking “oh well he doesnt know what it is he wont find out” but it was all over when he said “this looks like something ive seen before...”

i panicked and was like “UUUUH yeah my friend likes this game so i drew this character for her :)));;;;”  and he looked at me and was like

“thats reminds me of like...hentai”

now at first i didnt really acknowledge it due to the panic, it kinda just went in one ear out the other

/ff past the confessions and crying and getting grounded/ ANYWAYS so later we went to lunch and as i was buckling my seatbelt i was thinking ab the conversation and i realized something

and i was just so shocked and confused like DID HE THINK I WAS DRAWING PORN WTF and then i realized oh wait hes old maybe he doesnt know what it is

Ok so regarding the Chiune Sugihara post, I said in the tags that "there's a manga about him look it up" then I realize it might not help.

I found raws of it here: 小学館版　学習まんが人物館　杉原千畝 - 文芸・小説 渡辺勝正/あべさより/稲垣收（小学館版 学習まんが人物館）：電子書籍試し読み無料 - BOOK☆WALKER - (bookwalker.jp) I don't know if they were released outside Japan or get scanlation treatment. And the only series that got scanlation is the Satoshi Tajiri Edition.

Keep in the mind that this is google translated: The title is "Shogakukan Edition Learning Manga People Museum: Sugihara Chiune" supervised by Katsumasa Watanabe, Sayori Abe as the illustrator, written by Osamu Inagaki.

It was published on 29 November 2001.
