Shaun hates tea, he hates it. Coffee for him all the way‼️

Altaïr has frequent nightmares about the visions from the apple and Al Mualim bullshit and Malik is always there to calm him and hold him until he falls asleep again

Malik has similar nightmares but always about Kadar and Altaïr being there is scary because he still has that anger, but he's a new man and throws himself into Altaïr's arms, thanking him :(

Achilles is Connor's adoptive father. No buts.

Edward told grand stories of his adventures to Haytham and always mentioned his friends to keep the memory of them alive

Shaytham. That's the headcanon

Shaytham specifically because Haytham and Shay are both big losers who lost everything and connect in that way when Haytham actually opened up to Shay. (That def took a long time btw)

Malik has very soft hands, Altaïr's are calloused and rough as shit(the opposites attract HHegwgagagg)

Ezio tries to learn how to paint with Leonardo, but he prefers the building and architect lessons more

Ac Tumblr fandom I love you but when I see Ezio dialogue and there's a mention of "my friend" or "oh my God" specifically in Italian, it is vital to say dio MIO, not mio dio!

I NEED to rant about Revelations rq

The physical FACT that this game is about Ezio's end of his era and Altaïr's story smashed into our faces at the same time, MOST OF THE GAMEPLAY GOING TOWARDS GETTING THE MEMORIES/MASYAF KEYS so Ezio could learn about his ancestor, and they couldn't even put MALIK IN THE GAME. NOT ONE CAMEO OR MENTION.

He was Altaïr's BEST FRIEND(maybe rocky bc of their rivalry and Altaïr's bullshit) BUT THEY MADE UP AND BECAME CLOSER IM SURE.

It's not even because they were lazy to get his v/a or anything his VA LITERALLY PLAYS PRINCE SULEIMAN AND THEY COULDNT EVEN HAVE HIM REPRISE HIS ROLE??????

UBISOFT I HATE YOU WHY COULDN'T YOU JUST GIVE US OUR MALIK FANSERVICE. Hes like one of the best characters from a single game, such development and depth in a character is almost impossible now. BRING MY MAN BACK.

(Besides AC1) which game do you think deserves a remake? I can’t stop thinking how good a rogue remake could be (esp since we know Ubisoft plans on making a black flag remake)

GRAHHH IVE BEEN MEANING TO RANT ABOUT THIS

Firstly, I think AC1 deserves a REMASTER.

I don't like to throw around the term remake because it usually implies that the people want the whole game redone and changed. Remastering implies the redo of certain aspects. Considering how old AC1 is and how AWESOME it'd look in better graphics, I think it deserves it.

Rogue is such a good answer too but it technically already got a remaster, but I think a remake would be nice as well! Things in the game are very slow and short, so I think remaking it would benefit Shay in the community but I'm afraid that Ubisoft would fuck us over with rpg picking-what-you-want-to-say dialogue 🤢

If Ubisoft remasters black flag I will fly away to space

I need Edward in better lighting and graphics so I can draw him easier bc the lighting in Ac4 is SO NICE but I can't reference and draw his face easily with it </33

All things said, I think Altaïr and Malik deserve some justice, especially Malik please give our pookie more polygons

My lovely sister Courtney had Ac2, the collection with Liberation ac3 and ac4 in it, and Unity. (I have almost all the games now LMAO)

Idk when but one day I remembered how I used to watch her play Ac2, I was maybe 12, and she would climb on top of the buildings to get a viewpoint and I think I fell in love right then and there.

I just loved how it looked and the atmosphere blew me away. I couldn't play at the time though bc I was a child, mature game y'know.

I picked it up maybe last year and mistakenly played 3 after playing 2 so you can imagine how confused I was with the main storyline.

Once I played 3 though GOD I fell in LOVE WITH ITBRHRJRHE❤️🗣️🗣️‼️‼️💥💥

Its fs my fav ac considering all the amazing aspects of the game itself. Character design, world building, amazing storyline, super fun combat, it's so good rgegegege

All things said, I have more to say abt 3 but all the older games I hold so dearly to my heart and especially Rogue, it's my second fav<3

Stupid ask incoming; thoughts on AltMal?

ITS NOT STUPID WHAT

I could go ON about Altmal Jesus I love it sosoosso much it is one of my top ten ships in the WORLD

Firstly they fit together soo well and they totally have chemistry in Ac1 and if you cant see that you're CRAZY

(No offense Altmar shippers)

I believe their relationship is so complex considering Altaïr's faults with being the cause of Kadar's life being lost, considering that Malik HATED his guts and despised him for it after, also being his rival.

You'd really wanna think they'd never work, but Malik fucking does a 180° bigger person thing and CHANGES HIS MIND.

He doesn't forgive him of course, but sees that Altaïr is no longer the arrogant selfish rival he once knew, and changed for the better. I think he saw something admirable in that. That is what I build their relationship off of, it's truly beautiful how they can go through so much, and end up being close and becoming friends once more.

I like to headcanon that Altaïr hates being the grandmaster and always complains to Malik about it when he visits. And he never wears big important robes, keeping his master assassin ones instead :)

I am so in love with Malik and Altaïr already it's so hard not to want them together with how perfect they are with each other <3

They have silly banter and playful competitions constantly and Malik always calls Altaïr novice, inherited from his snarky asshole era.

I have done fanart for them before but i need to do some more, revamped.

Assassin's Creed 3 is SO GOOD BECAUSE UHMMMM CONNOR AND IT HITS BECAUSE COOL INSTRUMENTS Lorne Balfe has my heart

2 is an og and is SO GOOD so many bops

Black flag has shanties and I'm actually a pirate irl and it's so so good in general I love pirate music

Unity sounds so graceful and heavenly but chase by chase basis makes me feel like I'm running away from someone

Rogue feels like a soothing and cold icy environment which fits for the game but also just sounds so perfect with the setting and Rogue I general

Ac1 has some good ones and fits the holy lands so good I LOVE Jesper Kyd

Origins is easy to like because of how vibey the music is with the instruments and Egyptian vibe to the sounds and everything also reminds me of Bayek and the Prince of Egypt to be HONEST

I believe they'd still have their rivalry, and perhaps Altaïr would not mature due to their mission succeeding.

This wouldn't be the case though. Al Mualim would still be corrupt and still send Altaïr on his journey to kill the bad guys because who else than his trained weapon? His eagle.

I think that Altaïr would see Malik every once and a while because of course they're still friends and still have a deep connection due to them growing beside each other. Kadar being there would even strengthen their relationship I believe.

Altaïr would be mature, and I think Malik would admire that in him. Seeing how he grows from his arrogant annoying rival to a smart, strong thinker would make Malik go "OOO that's soooo hot"

God there's so much to love about him, he goes from being constantly berated during his time in the brotherhood to saying fuck them and going to the templars for his bettered life.

I think his character is so complex and it is so much more than just, I am doing this for the templars, he's doing it for himself.

Hes so silly too I just love how serious and goofy he is GAH I just love that trope.

I just think it's so devastating what he went through, losing something he loved, killing his BEST FRIEND and possible lover God he was so heartbroken. Then he meets cool important Templar man and dedicates his whole years to the order to find a fuckin box, it hurts so badddd.

I heavily ship Haytham with him too and it hurts so bad how they didn't have them have any fling in the game bc Haytham would MOST DEFINITELY be with him then send him off and forget about their relationship God he's such a DICK LIKE THAT

All things said I love Shay sososososo much and I wish he got a longer more deep game but I love Rogue either way, it's so underrated.

!!MAJOR SPOILERS FOR AC UNITY AHEAD!!

I love Arno for one, he's so nice and charismatic. A charmer ofc and I see why people say he's the 'french Ezio' on that note I do NOT agree. Ezio was so much more fleshed out and looked into than what we get from Arno's story. He lost his father and wanted revenge, like Ezio BUT!!!! He ended up completely shifting his goal.

He went from going from target to target for the info ofc and to report back to the Brotherhood, to becoming skeptical and angry at the council. I don't think he lost the goal of revenge for his father but rather became so attached to Élise and he couldn't overlook her own goals so he aligned them with hers to PROTECT her.

GOD CAN I PLEASE GET A HAPPY LOVE STORY??? I knew she was going to die(thanks AC community) but GOD did it hit so much harder seeing and hearing the music play in the background god the utter CHILLS I get from this soundtrack.

It's so heartbreaking because his goal all along was to avenge his father, and he did. But in that process he lost his lover, who was more important to him than some target.

GOD IM JUST SHHSHWHAA

Now for the gameplay itself I have much criticism :(

I really dislike how the combat works in this one. I get so annoyed with the party timing and how slow everything is I just miss fast quick combat that doesn't take a million tries.

Along with it taking so long was my struggle with levelling up GOD did this bother me!! I hated having to spend days trying to level up my gear and skills just to do the next story mission. That kinda ruined my immersion and I got lost a lot in the story because of it 💔.

Btw the stupid gun shit SUCKS I get shot twice and I'm literally dead done gone holy shit lower the damage pls

Another thing is probably the parkour being super janky for me with the unfortunate erasure of manual jumping MY LOVEEEEE

Overall the gameplay is nice and good but it's not as good as I had expected so I'd rate it around a 6/10

The stealth system was also a little annoying and pissed me off at times because id barely be seen and then get all the guards in the whole damn building coming for my ass and I'd be dead in two seconds. Other than that I like it I suppose.

I can't specifically rate the story because yes it is more underwhelming compared to the former games imo but I did like it because of how romance centered it was in the end. I am however mad about the boss fight wtf was that shit

That's the only thing I'll diss the most bro where's my super cool battle why do I gotta be sneaking around and only doing 3 tries for an assassination come ON Ubisoft.

This WHOOOLE game you've been building up the spooky grand master dude for me to finish off and I get this janky ass boss fight and Élise is just sitting there doing nothing?? Like ok Ms "we need to take him out together!" THEN HELP ME GOOD LAWD

Haven't played the final part of Ac3 TOKW but what I've seen so far and seen from @ramshackledtrickster 's post about it, it makes me sad how much potential it had but wasted it.

I really love the idea that Connor gets him mother back just for her to be ripped away from him again, and ofc he feels sad but he's not as devastated because HE ALREADY LOST HER ONCE. God this gets me so sad and I can't. BWJWKQKBDKBSLBWBO

I'd pick Connor most likely due to his whole ideals and how inspiring he is to me. His whole personality seems stoic and very "boring and uninteresting" (as many people say IDFK how he's amazing) because underneath all that baggage and bullshit he had to go through is a sweet man who will help you do ANYTHING BRO like the sweetest. His advice would be top notch too. He also basically helped rebuild the assassin brotherhood after Achilles fucked it over a little but we still love him(found father<3) Another main factor is just how awesome he is bc like, tomahawk, gun wielding, dagger hidden blade assassin goddAMN what a man. I'm not biased I promise...😈

Ezio Is a close second because he's Ezio i mean come ON. The man who built up the Italian brotherhood and recruited so many assassins after being put through so much he is so wise and I'd learn a lot from him.
