I love the fact that in 2024, there's going to be TWO movies featuring antagonistic, tyrannical apes.

It's also a neat deep dive into two different versions of tyranny:

Scar King looks to be someone who rules using fear and intimidation

Proximus Caesar looks someone who rules through personal charisma

SPOILERS FOR GODZILLA X KONG!!!!

FUCKING LOVED IT!!!! the world building was fantastic and I loved the build up to the ending fight. AND WE GOT LIKE AN HOUR OF TITANS WOOHOOOOO. OK now I'm gonna be critical

The beginning to the end fight was fantastic, I marveled at the screen, and d was hyper fixated. Until the end, fight..

It was okay?? It was good, just. It felt really short and unfinished. Like they made the rough draft of the writing and went with it. Also, Scar King shouldn't have been kept alive. I think it would make a good lead up if he like, got away. Kind of like, "he's out there, and plotting." Type of stuff. There are lots of ideas he could have been used for.

For example, what if he had some loyal followers who genuinely wanted his rule. Maybe he favored some followers and was less cruel to them, making them feel blessed or smth. And like one of them goes out to finds and revives him to fight Kong again. Though his death was actually pretty good, I think it could have been animated better.

Also, I NEED more Shimo, I found her really cool, and I can't wait to see more of her. I wished we had gotten to see more of her outside of mind control, but I'm pretty sure we'll get that in the future eventually. Also, Also, I liked her facial structure, which reminds me of a snapping turtle.
