I always wanted my take on her using the ladybug miraculous and I love it so much!!

What the Gold Beetle Earth 3 could be?

Gold Beetle aka Lily is a unique example of a character who over time inherited the legacy is of two heroes, that being Booster Gold and Blue Beetle.

Both of which we have seen Earth free counterparts of, that being Black Beetle and Scarlet Scarab.

Scarlet Scarab originally came from the Batman Brave and the Bold cartoon and was Jaime Reyes. We have not seen that version in the comics but we have seen someone wearing a similar outfit who appears to be Ted Kord.

My own head cannons surrounding these pair are plentiful especially since they've never met in cannon. Instead of being the best of friends like in the main universe I believe they would be the worst of enemies, there scarabs not even liking each other. This being because they are in fact one in the same, the scarab stolen by black Beatles in the future is actually Scarlet Scarabs so damaged after what killed him it has turned black.

Regarding Gold Beetle I think she would be called Black Scarab, she would be the scarabs host continuing on with all the powers that it brings. Mirroring the fact that Gold Beetle predominantly has a Booster Gold power set.

Another unfortunate pest.

Native to Europe and Asia, it's been introduced to most temperate climates where lilies are grown.

Bit mean to call them pests when they're just doing what they evolved to do, huh? They only target lilies. Shrugs. Pretty insect either way.

For the twigs I would ask you to simply bring me a lock of your hair. As per the sign on the door, no hair used within a transaction may be used in spells against you or your loved ones. There is a magpie who simply wishes to make a wig.

I have consulted the bugs and there is a Scarlet Lily beetle who would like to relocate, however he has a wife who would like to come also. I will do a two for one deal and ask only for the sound of the ocean collected within a conch shell.

Taken the same day as the previous post, this was a scarlet lily beetle (Lilioceris lilii), or liljebagge, that's colorful as ever. In Sweden, they occur wherever their food, as the name implies, lilies or fritillaries, grow. Their life-cycle begins in early in May after the adults have mated, females will lay up to 450 eggs in batches of 12 forming uneven lines on a lily leaf's underside. In 1-2 weeks, the eggs hatch and the larvae begin to feed for 24 days on the leaf. During this time, the larvae cover themselves in their own frass to make fecal shields that protect them from predators and sun. After 24 days, the larvae burrow into the soil and pupate by covering themselves in a case of dirt bound by their saliva. After 20 days, a newly formed adult will emerge and continue feeding on lily leaves until winter, when they shelter themselves in the soil until early spring to start the cycle over. Scarlet Lily Beetle - Lilioceris lilii

This blog has seen red Beetles frolicking on plants before, the Milkweed Beetle and Ladybugs specifically. While there are plenty more pictures of those Beetles just waiting to be uploaded, today we get see a different kind of red Beetle. It’s rather elusive in our garden; I’ve only seen them in 2017 (at time of posting), yet our garden year after year is filled with lily plants. These Beetles are associated with lilies so much, even their scientific name references lilies, twice! They are also known as the “Lily Leaf Beetle”. While their bright red color is eye-catching, many species in the Lilioceris genus sport bright red colors.  Dedicated herbivores, lilies are the primary source of food for these beetles, both in larval and adult stages of their lives. If you’re looking for these beetles, watch out for holes eaten into your lilies. 

As well, look out for little piles of brown material if you’re inspecting your lilies; the larvae of this Beetle coat themselves in (get this) its own waste material to keep hidden and to protect them from predators and the sun. With nothing planning to eat the Beetles, they can enjoy a buffet at their leisure, but this unfortunately means that lilies will be bitten and eaten, spoiling the plant’s beauty. We haven’t had that problem in our yard, but now we’ll have to watch for these beetles. There’s always a chance they could return in 2019 and beyond! I’m quite certain as I was lucky enough to find a mating pair of these two Beetles. Apparently after freshly emerging from the soil following pupation, they can begin another generation of Beetles which may emerge during the later parts of summer. Those Beetles that reach adulthood move back into the soil during winter to restart the process.
