why did I make this blog?

for motivation! I have like 9 months (including July) left until I have to give my entrance exam and that's a pretty long time. making a blog was dynamic and low-key enough to fuel me

to keep track of things! I'm very scatterbrained and absentminded, and despite having like two different facilities to remember stuff, it doesn't hurt to have another!

my best friend @somniphobicfox is a force of nature who also has a studyblog (@a-fox-studies) and I can't say no to her

On a scale of complete confusion to unified bleating, how do Sarissa and other satyrs see each other?

I'm not quite sure I understood the scale you laid out, but Sarissa gets along with most anyone - or tries to - though exhibiting a great deal of suspicion against cryptic entities and dark-souls NPC's. She'd get along fine with Barley and fail to pick up on the vibe of overall discomfort.

Barley lives apart from other fauns because she doesn't feel very comfortable around them, they're scatterbrained and lives in the present, cares little for perfecting anything - and overall just gets up to stuff she isn't into. She prefers her own company and her own pace, so she left to perfect her trade. A less benevolent take is that she's a big smartypants grumpface who reads books and kneads dough because noone will sit on her dumb grump face. She'd be reluctantly accepting of Sarissa until she dumbassed for the 45th time, and then kick her out. So overall, they'd get along like [picture of a goat eating grass in a corner, while another bounces around wildly 15 feet away in a futile battle against a bucket]

Okay sooo ummmm I've been working on something in the background.

So like, I've been working on a Meet the Robinsons AU idea that I plan on making a ton of content for in the background, I even have some art for it already. However, I wanna see if people would be interested in it... so I'm gonna describe the main players of the AU and answer some questions here in this post because I've just been DYING to info dump about this! Okay, let's start with...

The explanation of everything! What even is this AU I'm working on? It'll be called "Lazy Days." Essentially, this is an AU where the Robinson family stays in their comfy clothes and bedheads all day while drinking tea and/or coffee and binging junk food while watching movies... to name a few activities. My vision for this AU is a super cozy and chill vibe. Sweaters, socks, sweatpants, sleep shorts, donuts, whipped cream cans, coffee mugs, pizza, lo-fi, and more await in this AU!

What are some key differences? Besides the comfy lounge wear? Well, for one, Neil and Franny have more kids. Wilbur is still the eldest, he just has three little siblings now! One of which is adopted! I'll tell you more about them later on in this post. As for another key difference? Neil is still a super genius and everything, however, all of his inventions have a noticeably more... cozy, aesthetic feel. All I'm saying is, Carl looks REAL different in this AU.

Will there be a story? Meh... I'm still debating that. For now, it's just kind of a thing I entertain when I want to/am prompted to. If it were to have a story, it would probably focus on Wilbur and his sibs.

What did you mean by the "main players?" Just what I what refer to as the "core" members of the family. So, Neil and Fran, plus their four kids: Wilbur, Freddie, Mazie, and Leo. Speaking of...

Cornelius 42 years old. Summary: Caffeine Junkie, Sleepyhead, Scatterbrain Owner of his own engineering company, and a pretty chill one at that. He baffles others in his field because on the surface, he seems to not be all there - his choice to show up to important meetings and talks in sweatpants doesn't exactly help with that assumption. However, nobody can deny his amazing intellect, even if it at first glance it seems buried under all the goofball-ness.

Franny 41 years old. Summary: Intense, Mama Bear, Prideful A global phenomenon for her music featuring her own frog band! She's made up her brand from the fact that she's the only musician in the world right now who makes music using little amphibians who miraculously learned how to walk and talk. Besides music, Franny also adores everything about her husband.

Wilbur 16 years old. Summary: Sheepish, Easily Bored, Bookworm When he's not sneaking snacks from the kitchen in the middle of the night, he's usually curled up in a chair reading the book he recently checked out from the local library. His parents are surprised just how much he mellowed out compared to three years ago. That being said... ADHD doesn't magically go away after you grow up a little.

Freddie 13 years old. Summary: Old Soul, Green Thumb, Foodie She was adopted into the family two years after Wilbur was born. It was a circumstance of her father not being able to take care of her at the time. She's the plant person of the family, opting to spend her days taking care of her little garden in the backyard. Which includes fresh produce!

Mazie 10 years old. Summary: Weirdo, Hypersensitive, Pouty She's absolutely OBSESSED with cryptids. Bigfoot, Night Crawlers, Aliens, Mothman... you name it, she probably knows a whole book's worth of information about it. Hell, she'll even watch cryptid adjacent stuff. For example, kaiju movies. Her ultimate dream is to see the Loch Ness Monster. Or Bigfoot. Or aliens. Or any cryptid.

Leo 3 years old. Summary: Non-Verbal, Picky, Loner Leo is the only one who takes after his father, sharing his blonde hair. Which couldn't have worked out better! You see, after Leo was born, Franny went on a massive world tour. So Neil was the one taking care of him during his early years, and so Leo got very attached to his daddy. Wherever Neil goes, Leo follows. He's very fussy and uncooperative if Neil is away at work or just out for groceries.

gin's au got fucked by error, gin becomes an outcode w the help of ink and core, gin meets his outcode brother papyrus, gin meets his frisk again for a short time, gin has a nice time for a bit, gin gets possessed by a flowey, gin steals like 7 determined souls, gin and kin (paps)'s gaster permanently arrives to help (he was stuck w error), side character dies, FLOWEY dies by kin's hands, gin is alive but real fucking sickly, gaster is mad at kin cuz he just killed flowey in a fit of rage, gin "recovers" and hangs out with his family, gin DIES anyway, everybody grieves. hotaru (gin's frisk) is also in the void. an asriel gets revived somewhere in the omega timeline, another goopy asriel arrives in the omega timeline, revived asriel is taken to the infirmary, now everyone is currently talking post-grief about stuff.

i haven't made a summary abt the au in so long but decided this was a good opportunity, so this is going in the blog faq LOL

yea i did watch outsiders! though i did not finish the pov i watched and kinda fell out of it (school is a bitch like that) i still love it very much because it was my first story/narrative smp!

i watched owen's pov! but was unable to finish it. i dropped out at the part where the dark maze was open! i think it was around there i kinda fell off. also owen's angst hit so hard i might of fell out because i couldn't take it back then, ya know with him and his bad mental health and murder tendencies

i started watching around the beginning, like when there was only the first maybe second of owen's povs out on yt

i have not finished anything. i know some things that happen because of tumblr but i don't know everything or too much of the ending to be honest. i know owen is dead and died in jail tho!

i like the animatic of owen's fight scene and also the him and apo arc which was really soul crushing and good. the fruit trio in general i love. also i love the buddy bits. made me real happy and lightened the mood. also all the out of charter and breaking the 4th wall was funny! and the jokes!

Some other fun facts:

He has ADHD and it effects his workflow obviously. He gets obsessed with projects but forgets to eat and can be extremely scatterbrained for other things. Some days he gets nothing done and it makes him very mad.

He stims with slime! He loves it and sometimes will try to make it.

His bots are his pride and joy and he loves them so much, especially Octwo, his robot clone that he made with a piece of his own soul.

He usually sleeps at the lab most nights in his modified spare room because living with Duo can be...tough. It also lets him stay up real late at night and work on stuff.

He’s considered a genius around Purgatory for being able to just make machines like it’s nothing. There’s almost no piece of machinery that he can’t take apart and fix.

His electricity is almost so wild that he needs the inhibitor rings to control it because if he gets surprised or extremely happy, he sparks and he doesn’t want to hurt anyone.

He’s a huge nerd and can beat anyone in the building at video games.
