Deleted chapter of Octonauts vs. Pirates.

To be brief, there was different important event in the first chapter, not the Animal Day Fair, but Professor Natquik's first meeting with his daughter many years later. As you know, Natquik has been working as a researcher in Antarctica for many years and the radio also broke down, making it impossible for him to contact anyone. That's when I had the idea to start the comic with a dad and daughter meeting, but something went wrong.

Here's a moment no one seems to mention about Barnacles: Walrus Pups episode when the pup says that he wants someone to hold his flipper cause he's scared and Barnacles, when trying to keep two icebergs from crashing into them, without hesitation holds out his paw so the pup can be comforted.

YES yes you are so right, it's adorable :3

plus: that whole scene in general screams "claustrophobia", and considering Barnacles' fear stems from getting trapped.... in ice.... for a long time.... while he was out with younger cub scouts........

all I'm saying is it's 100% possible he offered to hold the pup's flipper so quickly because he was scared too. </3

and he probably wished someone held his paw back then, too.

Lots of little gems in the movie, we got jokes and trauma it’s ✨ The quality is very good as well, the scenes and animation was great. It felt more child-directed than the Caves of Sac Actun (it could just be me, but it felt that way) but either way top tier

Octonauts during a horror movie

Barnacles: the one that everyone clings to during the movie, not scared of the movie as such but may become settled during scenes of blood, gore or anything that could trigger his claustrophobia, cuddles mostly kwazii during horor movies tho.

Kwazii: fine at the beginning not really scared of the random jumpscares but freaks out over seeing people getting hurt, never watch a clown horror movie with him he will undoubtedly scream and cry from it, will throw something at the TV if dolls come on though especially baby dolls.

Peso: more mature than kwazii but screams at the normal jumpscares and gets laughed at by kwazii, generally however is accustom to the fear lol, will be scared from certain slasher movies cause knives are weirdly scary to him.

Tweak: good at not getting scared and tolerating the overall blood and gore of most horror films, ends up cuddling dashi the most, hates clowns tho from childhood memories so those'll scare her.

Dashi: scared of everything especially the jumpscares that no one expects, flinches from the violence out of randomness of not expecting it, very not good with dolls in movies tho oof.

How hard could it possibly be to look after the ADHD fortnite kid and the little girl who psychoanalyzes you with brutal honesty?

Day 1 of this year’s Octonauts week!!! The prompt was “Favourite Character(s)” <3 last year I already did Kwazii and Paani for a similar prompt, so I wanted to add in my two favourite Junior Octo-Agents to the scene this time around >x3c think of it as my subliminal messaging for this team-up to actually happen in the show!

Small details in the Octonauts #6

This is my favorite scene in The Caves of Sac Actun.

This scene shows how well Kwazii knows his Captain and how much he can be said to care for him.

After all, if he didn't know about Barney's fear, he would have said something like, "Come on, Cap, what are you afraid of." But no, he slowly swam towards him and said in a half-whisper that everything would be fine.

But whether they have known each other for a long time or he is just the second hand of the Captain is up to you. I personally believe that they have known each other for a long time and consider themselves brothers.

Midori is intended to be shy and a bit quiet. He's not much of a talker and usually has Anastasia talk for him. I was thinking that Anastasia and Midori are really close, they're almost always together. Partially so that Midori can protect her from any potential shiny hunters, but also because they've just bonded over the years.. 🥺

Anastasia is supposed to rather extroverted and chatty. She's got a lot of attituded and personality in a small package XD she loves her friends dearly and is almost always with Midori. Again not just for protection, but also just because they're very close <XD

I've been meaning to show their personalities at some point.. I'll have to think of a comic to make for them! :))

Gloria actually has the ability trace! Though I haven't thought about how to incorporate it into my comics yet.. and I only recently thought about her being able to see glimpses of the future :00 I'll have to add it into me next comic with her somehow! :))

Also about Baragara.. I was thinking that that's how Gloria found him. Is through his intense aura.. but who knows! I might change that story <XDD

His parent's were probably Leafeons or something like that :00 I don't think there's necessarily an eevee culture in the wild per se..? And I think Sylvester doesn't know of all the different eeveeloutions there are. He didn't know sylveon was a thing until he evolved into one! <XDD

As for their childhoods and why they formed a team? I'm thinking that they just found each other in the wild and became friends. And they aren't really trying to accomplish anything, they just stay together and travel because they are a family.. 🥺💞💞
