I don't know what's happening here, but I'm scrolling through TikTok, and I came across not one, not two, but three pages dedicated to Scott McCall and those who appreciate him.
Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but where have they been since I was on TikTok?

Scott Appreciation Week 2023: Day 1
He didn’t get it.
Not really.
Even when Derek said it, he didn’t get it.
“You’re not an omega. You’re already an Alpha, of your own pack.”
But that wasn’t it.
Not really.
They're his friends, and that’s just what friends do. They protect each other. They look out for each other. They have each other’s backs.
That didn’t make him an Alpha.
It just made him a good friend, and it made him lucky to have the friends that he did.
Even when Stiles, despite the many, many mistakes Scott had made and the many, many times that he’d almost gotten him killed (sometimes at his own hand), refused to leave his side, no matter how hard it seemed like it must be.
Even when Allison, despite her family history and the inner turmoil it brought her, still supported and helped Scott, and even after their break-up, wasn’t willing to let him face the supernatural alone.
Even when Lydia, despite everything he had hidden from her and everything he had unwittingly dragged her into, quickly became a willing and undeniably helpful ally in his various fights and missions to save Beacon Hills.
Even when Isaac, despite their terrible first few interactions and constant fighting, started putting Scott’s opinion above Derek’s, helping him when he least expected it, proving his loyalty in more ways than one.
Even when Derek, despite them being at odds for so long, wound up siding with Scott and ultimately saving his life, more than once, and doing everything he could to keep him safe and out of harm’s way, no matter how bad things got on his end.
Even when Scott knew that he would do anything in his power to protect his friends, he still didn’t get it.
Not really.
At least.
Not until Jennifer.
Not until he realized that he would die for them.
Not until he realized that he would take any enemy head on, even on his own, if it meant saving them.
Not until he realized that, no matter how hard he tried to keep them all safe, they would never let him do it alone.
Not until he realized that, no matter how much he might want to push them away, they would only get closer.
Not until he realized that these weren’t just his friends.
They were his family.
They were his pack.
And no matter what happened.
They always would be.
So when Jennifer asked him if he really thought his friends were going to be able to save their parents.
When she put up that mountain ash barrier, thinking she had saved herself, thinking she had won.
Scott wasn’t afraid.
He wasn’t worried.
Because he had his friends.
His family.
His pack.
And Jennifer had nothing.
And so he stood up.
And he looked her right in the eyes.
And he stepped towards that barrier.
And he stepped through.
Here's my post for Day 1 of @scottappreciation week!
I'm a new fan and am only halfway through Season 4, and I wasn't planning to start writing (much less posting) any fan fiction until I finished the show, but my friend told me about this event, and since the first prompt was Season 2 centric, I figured I could get away with it.
Hope you enjoy! :)

I'm genuinely confused when see people say that Liam needs a new alpha. I don't get it, you don't want Liam to have the alpha that told him he wasn't a monster? The alpha that told him he didn't have to be part of the pack but he shouldn't push his friends away? The alpha that searched day and night for him when Garret took him? The alpha that told him he was still learning but really strong for his age? The alpha that did everything he could to save Hayden because Liam asked him to? The alpha that accepted him and forgave him after he tried to kill Scott for him power? The alpha that trusted Liam when he said Mr Finch was a werewolf? The one that came into the school with him to provide back up incase hunters came? The alpha that told him it was okay if he was scared but that it shouldn't stop him?
But no, Scott isn't a good alpha and Liam should find another one.
