I am reading the script for the Hunger Games movie. I wanted to look something up for the fic (didn't find that thing) but I did find out that Foxface is named "Marissa." (Why did people tell me she was called "Finch" in the script?)

And the male ribute from 4 is "Bravura." (How would you even shorten that for a nickname? "Bra" sounds wrong.)

These both seem wrong to me but Suzanne Collins was cowriter so now I feel like I should use those names....

Tbh the more you play TSP the more you get the inexplicable impression that the office building was created by an entity with a very surface-level understanding of what an office building is supposed to be. The place is basically screaming ‘I am a normal location in a normal world where normal human people do Work and Jobs and am definitely not suspended someplace abstract and outside of time at all!’ at you and expecting you to believe it. What jobs do people do in office buildings? Well, they… they push buttons on keyboards! The meeting room is full of details that tell you exactly nothing about what kind of office building this is (other than the fact that somebody named Chris was, at one point, in the broom closet).

The Stanley Parable office building is in the uncanny valley for places.

when you go to the bathroom, your pee never runs down your legs and the wipe always comes out clean. Doesn't smell bad, and you don't have to go in awkward places like malls or restaurants.

Question: Was Molly always written in as a major supporting character or did it just happen? I love my girl and want to know more about her.

my initial scripts are very vague on the details, so it’s very likely that most supporting characters dont even exist until i start actually making the comic.

mollymawk was actually the second cat i designed for wlb, but i didnt think she’d ever be more than a pretty background cat. But i ended up using her as the cat hake borrowed food from in ch3, and she expanded.

I didn’t expect her to be more than a minor character until hake mentions her to tusk the first time, and i realized “wait he has a point, they would get along and tusk needs a friend who isnt hake.” And then more things fell into where they are now.

i do not script my comics in detail, for better or worse. This leads to a lot of things changing and adapting. I like this freedom but it doesn’t work for everyone.

gonna be under the cut bc hrhs its 48 panels long and i dont have the script ON the panels. I've been calling this the Codemaster AU (cause it's like half inspired by Chez's Gamemaster Kinger) but also I'm not sold on that name but also also I have literally no other idea for it bc this literally only exists for this one comic lmaooo;; I have nothing else planned

(12) KINGER: Oh dear...Is this what happened to you earlier? CAINE: Yes. It has been...not pleasant. And occurring more frequently. (14) KINGER: Well, it's not a virus, at least as far as I can see. Nor a hack since your firewall would pick that up first. Strange that it's glitching your model like this...I may need to see your code directly. CAINE: That's fine.

sometimes i have the urge to write an avengers actors AU that i don't take seriously at all, and just make a series of crack oneshots out of it where every installment is just one of those funny interview formats, like:

and bc i'm annoying it would obviously evolve into a winterhawk fic somehow, but just like... sprinkled across different interviews. just imagine them being paired up for actors on actors and it's SO obvious that clint hasn't seen bucky's recent movie and bucky isn't offended but he finds it way too funny and then just starts getting everything wrong about clint & his movies on purpose to fuck with him, and everyone in the comments (bc obviously i would be writing out youtube comment sections) is arguing about whether they have chemistry or not (bucky & steve are besties and a part of the internet has been shipping them for years, so these people obv are winterhawk antis). and then (after a bunch of random interviews with some of the characters who already knew each other & worked on a movie together) all the avengers get casted in a movie together and THEN the press tour madness starts and they get to do all these fun group interviews & shit. tony & steve start hooking up and the internet somehow finds out so the road's clear for all the winterhawk girlies😼 idk a lot of flirting in interviews, a lot of side remarks from the rest of the cast, and bc i'm VERY annoying and it's all i need in life, it all would end with the clint & bucky puppy interview (they're already dating at that point and they kinda confirm it in that interview) and one of the puppies is lucky & clint obviously tries (& succeeds) to adopt him :3
