I.... This is barely into my second year... I wasn't even trying... I was just trying to fill in the space between sundown and 1 am...

I haven't played this game this far in a while, so I'd completely forgotten what the weird symbol on the icon meant. I just wanted to get it for the chest it came with ToT (it had two rubies!), I didn't even have anything on the hook! Just like, two bait. And on a neutral day!

And I thought you could only catch it on that little island 😭

I swear I just sat there for like... Five minutes in shock before taking the screenshot. Just???? I didn't think that was possible??? Does anyone know how or why? It wasn't even - I remember my first time catching it with the best bait and bobbers, wrestling with it for minutes at a time over and over again. I'm??? So confused?? But delighted??

And if that wasn't enough there was a little panning spot behind the speech bubble that gave me 4 iridium ore with my copper pan immediately after lmao. I can craft my first bar!

Now to go buy a fishtank from Willy...
