Espeon gijinka, from the special episode 0 rom hack !

I recently started playing the pokemon super dungeon explorers of sky rom hack : special episode 0 ! I still haven't finished it, but I really like the story so far. I HAD to draw, Espeon, she's just so so cool.

It was also really interesting design wise, since the story takes place in some sort of post-apocalyptic environnement. I tried to use very damaged, up cycled clothes while keeping some style.

A Shattered Reality AU: Found Future, Hope and Light

During SE0.

I’mma ramble.

First off, in the latest posts in my rp blog, which is @galactic-ambitions-jester, most of the Magolor reblogs were mostly on about the wishmade sky.

Which, was wise. Coming from him. The events of EOS, KRTDL, and KATFL, had helped him grow.

In the Special Episode Zero: In a Dark Past of this au, (YES I LOVE THAT ROMHACK!) Magolor acted like Celebi did when Grovyle, who was still a Treecko.

And this is where the story steers from the canon.

Halcandra had records. In KRTDL’s beginning, he tried fighting Landia. This is where the temporal reset happened post Temporal Tower.

And in the paralyzed world, he could only do nothing but read the records.

And found a portal.

Just like in Halcandra, there was no light, wind. Or anything but desolation.

By the time Treecko arrives, Magolor had long accepted fate. There was no changing it was what he thought.

He merely healed Treecko’s wounds with some magics he learnt in Halcandra.

But Treecko’s hopes when he brought up the Shelter Cave Pokemon, and added with his only friend’s (Celebi) tale of him, he bluntly told the truth.

Hey, kid? Ya sure t’wasn’t another Eeveelution? Like, I dunno, Sylveon, or Umbreon?

And Treecko replies like in canon, affirming that it is an Espeon. Magolor tried to put it lightly, but… that wasn’t possible, because how do ypu tell a kid that their parent just fucking died?

…say, Treecko… do you know where they get their power?

No, now that I think about it, I don’t.

S’ from the sun. I’m sorry kid.

And the shock sets in. It hurts. And it still hurts down to this timeline the AU is now in. And Grovyle knew that the Espeon he had met and the Espeon that was from the wishmade sky were different.

Gaps in memories, mannerisms, and the like.

In the conversation with Celebi and Treecko, Mags stays out of it, but still eavesdrops.

And when Trecko drops the bombshell of changing history, Magolor and Celebi look absolutely appalled.

By stars above, NO!

WHAT?! NOT AT ALL!

Treecko immediately doubled down on it. Magolor couldn’t speak in pure disbelief. Celebi snaps at him and asks him if he knows what he’s talking about.

Kid, if Dialga had control of the seas, Celly would only be able to swim in it! She wouldn’t be able to track a Passage of Time before DIALGA does!- Magolor

Mags is right. That alone is more than enough to quit trying. It’d be a piece of cake to stop me. - Celebi

And what about your magic? - Treecko

Stars, no! Palkia’s, Dialga’s direct counterpart, disappearance already messed up my spacial magic! And the singularity hasn’t favored me besides the vision thing! - Magolor

This was how they acted. Treecko, the ever hopeful, Magolor, the absolute denier, and Celebi, who quit early.

But Treecko managed to change their perspectives.

PMD Special Episode 0 Romhack: Secret Cutscene!

NOTE: This post will contain minor spoilers for the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky games as well as a romhack based off of it: Special Episode 0: In a Dark Past Well. This wasn't exactly what I expected for my first post, but I sure as hell ain't complaining! I'm making this post since I discovered something that I haven't seen posted anywhere, so I thought I might as well share it. Sorry if it's a little long! First off, a bit of context: Thanks to numerous fanart, I've begun playing a PMD romhack called Special Episode 0: In a Dark Past. It's a romhack of the Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky games specifically, delving deeper into the backstories of two of its characters: Grovyle and Dusknoir. As a massive PMD EoS fan, I've been enjoying it so far! Highly recommend it to anyone who's a fan of these games or characters and the writing is great! You can check out the creator's Twitter here, the hack download should be in a pinned post: https://twitter.com/PKMM_ESPEP0 It was when I got to a fight with a Vespiquen and her Combee that I got a little curious. Before I picked up this hack, I'd already watched a short playthrough of it and knew that you were supposed to lose this fight to continue the story (Vespiquen is ridiculously strong and uses Silver Wind, which basically kills you from anywhere). But I wondered if it was possible to beat it. After all, I had a lot of stun seeds by this point, and Duskull knew both Disable and Hypnosis which could stall the Vespiquen.

So I did. Though I must first confess, I didn't do it 100% legitimately. I don't own a DS, so I play all my games using emulators, including both PMD EoS and this romhack. Thus, I was able to save right before the battle so I wouldn't have to reset and go through the entire dungeon every time I lost. So while I did manage to beat the Vespiquen fair and square from start to finish, I did do a couple resets to save time. But that's not what I made this post for. After beating the Vespiquen, I unlocked a secret cutscene! I haven't seen anyone share this before, so I thought I might as well put this out there for anyone who is curious. For anyone who's read this far, thank you so much, and here it is! (It's quite long at about 7 minutes, but it's totally worth the watch!)

Thanks for reading through this one hell of a first post! Like I said, I really love PMD and from the little I've experienced, this romhack is just as beautifully written. Highly recommend checking it out if you haven't! I wonder if I should start posting PMD fanart of my own...

can i be a liiiiittle bit mean and say that part of why im not trying to make future trio polycule hard canon in starfallverse is because im sorta turned off from how celebi gets treated…….

i feel like in most fanon depictions, shes really only there out of obligation cause she crushes on grovyle in canon and she joins grovyle and dusknoir in the final se5 dungeon. and grovyle/dusknoir are the real stars

and i get that she has the least development out of the trio in the games (which i also think se5 couldve done better with btw) and people may just feel they dont have enough to work with, but idk… it puts kind of a bad taste in my mouth. like shes only there to be set dressing for the m/m ship and if it werent for fandoms encouraging polyam shipping over love triangles in today’s climate, she’d be cast aside without a second thought
