Danny squints at his tiny hands, eyes narrowing as Clockwork hums in the kitchen. Which he wasn’t even aware of having been in LongNow. Maybe it wasn’t. He huffed, voice too squeaky for him to continue complaining. Stupid time accidents. 

Which wasn’t even starting on the other figure awkwardly sitting at the table. 

He glowered at the Ghost King, who kept glancing at him with an unreadable look in their eyes, then looked back towards where Clockwork was. His scowl deepened over his cup of tea- which wasn’t fair, he wanted coffee but nooo, that’s not healthy for ‘little ghostlings’. Ugh.

Sometimes he wished he was fully ghost so he didn’t have to apparently worry about his living body having to grow back up.

TesFest23, Aug 8th (Day 4): Prompt- Mortal

The End of Order --- Shivering Isles DLC @tes-summer-fest

When Jyggalag showed up in the palace courtyard, there was a huge explosion and every Saints and Seducers were killed. Somehow, the only one standing was the Hero of Kvatch. A mortal.

Jyggalag is an all powerful Daedric Prince, who was feared by other Daedric Princes. They believe he can conquer across the seas of Oblivion. Maybe he has some kind of power specific to kill Daedra. That basically makes Jyggalag unstoppable against other's Daedra army. Other Daedric Princes had grown so fearful they had to gang up on him.

Maybe that's why his attack is ineffective on us, a mortal. Jyggalag killed Sheogorath's army in one hit. We're not just survived the attack. We're completely uninfluenced by the explosion, because it only works on Daedra.

It kinda also answer my question about why they let our HOK becomes Sheogorath. Surely there is someone more suitable for the job. Some high rank Daedra general, his Demi-Princes, or someone in the court more familiar with the job or something. Our HOK is literally just some guy. We literally just got here.

Speaking of just got here, when we first enter the strange door, Haskill said: "My Lord seeks a MORTAL to act as His Champion." Sheogorath was asking for a mortal champion. He actually wanted a mortal. If Jyggalag is strong against the Daedra, maybe we need a none Daedra to defeat him. The answer is so obvious! A MORTAL!

I mean, letting a mortal be your successor is kinda crazy ;) but in a way, mortal is kind of opposite to order. Even Dyus is annoyed by our nature of changing and irrational behavior (How I loathe the idea of personal choice). Maybe we are a perfect choice for God of Madness. In the end, defy all logic, we did defeat the powerful Daedric Prince of Order. Just us. A mere mortal.

"Your evil plan...is a cocktail set?" Hero looked at the villain like they'd gone insane.

Villain glared at them and crossed their arms in indignation. "It's not just a cocktail set. It's a mixology set up!"

Hero picked up at the cocktail shaker. "So your plan is to, what? Beat me by hosting a cocktail party?"

Villain rolled their eyes. "Must everything I do have to have some malicious intent? Some hidden motive?"

"I mean, yeah? You are a villain-"

"Shut up, will you?" Villain snatched the shaker out of their hands. "I didn't invite you into my home for no reason. Initially, I was going to ask if you wanted to go out for a drink. But then I realized something."

Villain rounded the kitchen bar and set the shaker down next to a bottle of gin. They leaned across the counter with a smirk on their lips. Hero's face grew warm as Villain whispered in their ear, "Why buy you a drink when I can make one?"

What are some underrated fandoms that you’re in? I know most of your page is Hazbin hotel content, since it seems to be your longest Masterlist, and I wanna send in requests for other fandoms for you if you don’t mind!

I feel like I’m in a lot of fandoms, like I feel like sometimes I have the most bizarre interests, but I do wish some of the fandoms I liked were more well known, just because sometimes I get asks and I get so excited when people actually know what I’m talking about and like what I like you know? I wanna clean up my master lists a bit, just because I feel like some of them are messy, like the Hazbin Hotel Masterlist. I update it so much because I’m constantly writing for the fandom, which I love don’t get me wrong, but I update the Masterlist so much I just feel like its pointless to clean it up when I know the format is gonna fall apart again.
