eddie getting shot, the intensity of the blood splattering on buck, eddie falling to the ground, buck being pulled down by mehta, eddie lying there with his blood pooling around him, buck crawling under the fire engine to tug eddie out of the open…

for something so character specific to eddie, we see an awful lot of buck and i think about that fact every single day

Weird no one seems to ship Peter and Regulus. Would make more sense than James and Regulus. Would actually add some more depth and story to why Peter betrayed James and Lily. And why Peter set Sirius up to take the fall.

Peter being in love with Regulus to the point where he considers joining the death eaters makes much more sense than James who loved Lily a muggle-born and loved Sirius as a brother to point where his family adopted him and saved him from a death eater family.

Peter blaming Sirius for not getting Regulus out of the same abusive house and not being there to save Regulus from his death is great motivation for framing Sirius for the betrayal.

Ok tmnt legends thing

Does anyone else notice that Karai is like REALLY shiny? You can see it especially on her skin and the yellow part of her hair

I didn't notice this until I got her to three stars and unlocked her new attack (which provides a more close up view of her face)

And its JUST her. None of the other non robot characters look shiny

And considering the chapter 3 bossfight against a robot Shredder that was EQUALLY as shiny...that worries me.

Is it just a thing or is the story going where I THINK its going.

It drove me nuts that Steven never tells Peridot what happened on the moon in Can't Go Back. Of course, I forgot that in canon it was daytime when he got back and she was already out of the house, so this scene isn't quite plausible. Oh well!

i saw this tweet and found it interesting for two reasons. one is that some people base how good cartoon network would be to toh by how it treated su, and despite the fact that su’s treatment by the network was considered poor at the time, now its thought to be exceptionally good in comparison to modern shows.

two is how exactly su got impacted by a limited budget. a common criticism is how characters like connie, peridot, and lapis are left out of missions. but balancing a lot of characters is not only hard but also costly (extra animation, extra voices—it’s been revealed that the show is limited to a set number of characters per episode otherwise they’re over budget). animation mistakes are not uncommon since retakes cost extra. the entire reason the original show got cut short was due to loss of funding!

Lucio's not much of a cat guy? hell, Pepi hates him, we know this from at least 2 different Heart Hunter interactions. but like keeping in mind that he leans more in the bird/dog/miscellaneous albino animal direction- why just. some normal ass big cats. WELL. it makes me think of the Norse goddess Freyja, who among many other things, embodies love- so it makes sense to invoke her imagery at a wedding! (or a fantasy world's equivalent to her) (AND to add to that, some articles I've read claim that Vikings would give new brides kittens because of these associations but other articles disproved it. so I guess it's up in the air. the cat/love associations are still there either way so big cats specifically being at a wedding makes sense)

but yeah intentional or not I do like to run with this kind of thing I think it's cool

Gnawing at the walls thinking about an au where spiritual beats have a society among those who were born with sapience or cultivate it.

This au, so far, has a strength based Society at the Center of it, much like demon, but with the problem of: they live too long.

Demons average 200-300 years old if they don't get murdered. Those with higher cultivation last even longer.

Spiritual Beasts on the other hand, once they reach the level of sapience, can live much much longer than that. They are capable of grudges that last thousands of years if they aren't killed or captured.

The current strongest Spiritual Beast doesn't change much, maybe once or twice since they decided to organize. The second strongest beast wanted to follow the newest thing the humans were doing. Have a monarch.

So now we have a very old Monarch of Spiritual Beasts. A title not many outside of the spiritual beasts know of.

After that, a crane takes over, this crane is of a dying species, as most spiritual beasts are, but this one has very recent ties to the Heavenly Realm.

The old Monarch is killed in the challenge, and the new Monarch ascends the throne bringing along with him the last of his species. His little sister.

This new Monarch is very well liked, strong, healthy, and vicious towards those who threaten those under his rule. As a major plus on his advisors opinions, he actually does paperwork.

The only drawback is the frequent qi deviations he experiences, they tend to wipe his memory every hundred years or so. But hey, that's fine, his personality doesn't change much despite the memory wipes.

As time goes on, roughly 700 years or so into this new Monarch's reign, he has another qi deviation, but this one is different, as it happened right after he broke through and managed to completely rid himself of anything holding him back from ascending.

As such, when he wakes, they almost expect him to be able to keep his memories this time, he's a step away from ascending back to the Heavenly Realm. He doesn't though, his memories are wiped, and they must talk him through who he is again.

Something is odd though, he seems to know more this time. Not of what he should know, but about things that have yet to happen. This can be explained, some species have varying ability to see into the future, but this wasn't a skill he shown before.

It came to a crescendo when the Monarch arrived back after roaming the world, with a young crane of his species. The first guess was a child from his younger sister, who had flings thought the centuries. That wasn't it though, this crane was completely unrelated to the Royal family.

The Monarch brought the young crane to stay with them, offering shelter and food so long as he didn't cause much trouble. Of course, all young beasts cause trouble, so it wasn't long before the Monarch had to sit down with the famously human loving Demons Lord.

The trouble wasn't that bad, it the end, but it did bring more headaches for court members. Since watching a Demon Lord and his wife, a particularly famous human cultivator, court the Monarch was a unique sort of stress they'd never encountered before.

Of course, once the young crane brought back his own circus of human cultivators, the court members simply wished for the mildly less stressful days where it was just a Demon Lord, his very rich and successful wife, and their ankle biter of a child.

Still really annoyed that Mizora and Wyll's sword show up more in the artbook than he does. On his own page, even.

Even Withers has more art than him!!

Characters you might not even meet in the game have more art! Gerringothe and Thisobald have more art!

I would have loved to see more about Wyll's design process. Especially considering that he can become part devil and that's a big visual change. You'd think there'd be more notes on it. In the entire book you only see three pictures of Wyll, and none of them are solo shots.

Every other origin companion gets so much more. Halsin even has more examples of his design. After Wyll, Gale has the least and on his page alone that still puts him at six.

I'd list all the characters that have more artbook content than Wyll, but! That's almost everyone. The worgs have more artwork.

You can see Auntie Ethel ass-naked but if you want Wyll concept art, a character who you can romance and play as, you're shit outta luck

yea so i knew he was the traitor and behind the mental shutdowns but like?? idk i think the foreshadowing is done rly well bc the reveal and 11/20 still had me absolutely floored even tho i knew it was him the whole time 😭😭
