I think I may be close to getting a job! They said I was basically their finalist and it hinges on references (who will give glowing reviews, especially my last boss, who is still gutted that she has to let me go *shakes fist at stupid economy*).

It’s at a nonprofit, which is my jam, but in an industry that I haven’t really worked in before, so there will be a learning curve.

But I miss having more structure to my day and I am ready to not sigh when I see my slowly dwindling bank account.

y’all I’m suffering rn. I’ve got a head cold, I got laid off from my job I literally moved across the country to do (right after I qualified for benefits too) the day before my bday, I have mice in my apartment, and getting healthcare in a new state is a fucking nightmare (I’ve literally been without healthcare for over six months which means I’ve been off my meds for ages), and I can’t even apply for unemployment because I make “too much” to qualify. thank you for listening to my rant.

im so sad. the shelter were living at (True Light) is going to be closing on February 28th due to funding.

Im not worried about me or my mom. I'm worried about the other ladies in there.

look up True Light Family Resource Center and see if there is anything you can do, if you can. if you can't, please spread the word

this shelter is such an amazing place, it doesn't even feel like a shelter- instead, it feels like a family.

im so grateful for all the ladies who put so much effort into keeping this place a safe place for us.

Life update! I have 2 weeks until graduation & moving which means I’m super extremely anxious and stressed but also so so excited! I will be a little inactive until then but I promise to come back with a bang. BRB!
