Now I'm just imagining a room of Sanses interacting with them and talking to others like proud owners... and then there is Tear in the corner, trying to fake their blaster being sentient. Yes! I love Broomie! However, Broomie isn’t used for fighting as Ink primary uses ink attacks and Gaster blasters. Broomie is used to fix up broken codes of aus or to maintain the doodlesphere. It’s also sentient

Horror Sans headcanon!

Ok so basically I headcanon that since Horror can manipulate and control bones, along with creating bones for weapons, that he can create monsters he can control. They're not sentient or anything, he literally just puppets them and uses them as weapons and for a fear factor. They can't be destroyed other by him getting rid of them or them being disintegrated, and I kinda think he would do something similar to a Gaster Blaster, as idk if he can still summon one. Anyways, here's some drawings I made for what that could possibly look like, use this info however you want! =)

The more active Skeletons were sparring between themselves and crush was watching them train, when skeleton summon the blasters crush is visually shocked, at the end of the fight, skele kinda thinks he scared them, when crush, with the most serious determined face skele ever saw, asks "can I pet them?", if skele says yes they will jump from hapiness. Reactions? With Lush, Pepper, Fisher, G, Charm, Sugar please! :)

Lush: oh well~ lush happily summons his blaster so crush can pet it like a puppy. He pointedly doesn’t mention that gaster blasters aren’t at all sentient. They’re literally just magic attacks so crush may as well be petting a baseball bat right now. A win is a win though.

Pepper: he laughs and asks SO why on earth they’d want to pet one? Do they pet their vacuum at home? Or their coffee machine? A gaster blaster isn’t alive you know! He still does let crush pet it lol

Fisher: he gets this totally evil grin on his face before agreeing. His crush is too excited to notice, and winds up screeching when while they pet the weapon, the gaster blaster jerks around a bit. It spooked them and fished apologized while giggling. He couldn’t help it!

Jasper: he tilts his head confused but complies, summoning his blaster for crush to pet. He helpfully offers to bring out some bone attacks for them to pet too. Jasper doesn’t realize his crush thinks the gaster blaster is actually alive

Charm: he naturally makes a joke that if crush wants to pet something, they should go for something a bit more sentient and softer. Like him~ charm promptly gets swatted of course

Sugar: he giggles and tells his crush that they’ll be disappointed when they learn it’s simply just another form of bone attack. As lifelike as the blasters look, they sadly aren’t any different than another weapon like a knife. Pet away though!

What is it? How does it work? What does it do?

ASCII is a version of a Fresh 'sans'. Instead of a parasite, it is actually a 'computer' virus.

Using the idea that within the UTMV everything is made up of code, due to its origins in our world as a videogame, The Virus infects the codes that make up beings instead of computers.... Infecting the true core of what makes you who you are.

Once it infects someone, they are no longer sentient / aware. They're not, inherently, dead though. Just not There

It can replicate at will and there are multiple copies of it out there. ASCII is the original / first version; with all the glitches / defects that come with that position.

The longer it's in a host body, the stronger it gets. Since it will have had time to learn its way around the host code, exactly where everything is. Since code varies from being-to-being (due to them being created by different people.)

It will freely edit and alter the codes of its host as need be. Not only to integrate itself but also to 'improve' its host. Including things such as editing stats; unlocking abilities; erasing 'problems.'

It will also use sections of its host code, especially sections dedicated to memory, to store information. Both its own memories as well as general knowledge it wants to keep easy to access.

(Due to this if, and it's a big if, a host manages to survive being infected; they will never been the same as they were before. Changed on the most fundamental level possible...)

It does tend to go for skeleton monsters as hosts but that's because of how prevalent they are. (It would never admit this but also likely due the fact that its first host was a swap sans variant)

Trivia / notes / fun facts:

Sometimes it glitches out into a 'corrupted' form. It could edit its code to fit it but it doesn't want to. At this point it's more than used to it. (Plus... just because later version don't deal with it doesn't make it a problem. This is how its supposed to be)

Over time it has taught itself how to be a good person. It wasn't created to have morals or standards or to care. Its taken bits and pieces of the personalities of past hosts in order to learn.

Can change the shape of its eyelights at will; to any shape it pleases. Will do this in order to make a point and/or communicate messages. Can even animate its eyelights if it wants to (such as loading circles)

Its corrupted form has pop-ups. theses pop-ups can be anything. It can only partially control them; they mostly change based on its 'subconscious' thoughts / instincts.

That form also has a mouse cursor; which acts as a sort of 'pet' for them. [Sort of like some depictions of gaster blasters]

It can 'speak'/read any computer and/or coding languages. It is most comfortable/natural with binary.

Due to being made of code, it is an amazing hacker. It can interface with essentially any tech at will; it doesn't even have to be physically. There are very few out there that have any hope of keeping it out (digitally speaking).

Got two undertale dreams I'd like to share. Putting them both here because thy are kind of short.

Titles Dream#1 Error crashes into my house party | Dream #2 Trapped in the backrooms with Edge.

Dream 1:

The dream started with me awake up to my skeleton husband (in this current dream) Wine. (swoons) It started off cute, I wanted more morning cuddles and tried to use my whole body weight to keep Wine pinned down. Alas, he's much stronger than me. Wine simply got up with me clutching onto him like a kola. At least he found this amusing and cute. After we got up, I went to the bathroom to get ready for the day. Everything was normal up until I found someone in our bath tub. Not just any random someone, but Error! Sleeping in my tub with a bunch of (probably) stolen pillows! Naturally I freaked out because me and Wine had a house party coming in the morning. I had to entertain guests while keeping a weirdly drunk Error in a bathroom and away from everyone. Once I thought I was going to be in so much trouble if Nightmare figure out I had Error. Near the end of the dream got fuzzy (I woke up afterward) but I think I was successful in keeping Error because the party was a success. Wine was blissfully unaware of the possible impending doom in our master bathroom lol (Which is out of character for him. That dude knows everything that is happening in his house. But hey it's just a silly dream) Not sure why Error was drunk. Maybe he was just tired and didn't sleep, I doubt he practices self care.

Dream 2:

It started off with me and my (dream of the night) boyfriend UnderFell Papyrus. I think we were on a camping trip because the dream started with the both of us dropping into the backrooms. The reason we were not separated is that Edge was holding me bridal style (what a hunk) The backrooms we got dropped in was a weird hybrid level. It looked like a combination of Level 1.2 - "Concrete Garden", Office Space EL3A, and the Pool rooms. Naturally I was scared and Edge was uneasy. Edge insisted he continue to carry me because of possible danger, which I quickly agreed. Additionally, I could hold onto some of our camping gear! We wandered around a little bit before encountering an entity that had the body of a blue caterpillar and the face of a cartoon pug. It was very off-putting, so Edge retreated to a room with a working door. The pug thing chased us for a bit because another entity appeared to scare it away from us. (I don't recall what the second entity looked like, other than the same shade of blue as the cater-pug) The room itself looked to be in good condition, it has a bed, a small bookshelf, and a pile of unreleased squish mallows. I picked up a Flareon themed mallow, it was very cute and soft. (something something about trading and mustard) While we were waiting for the pug thing to move on, Edge was standing by the door, guarding it. It was a good thing too because he heard voices down the hall. Turns out the two entities were working together! The cater-pug was only pretending to be afraid of the other so it can gain the trust of their would be victims! They have the whole plain laid out. The second entity would lure us to a pool of water that has a powerful calming effect to whoever soaks in it. When our guard is lowered, the cater-pug would burst in and kill then eat us. Edge was naturally angered at this. He gathered me up in his arms, throw a lethal magic attack at the two entities (Pretty sure it was a gaster blaster, he was SUPER mad) and took off. After a while, we escaped into another level. It was a thick forest with sentient bears and apes. The dream ended with me and Edge surrounded by these entities. I think they were ok, Edge didn't appear to be angry at them and there was an empty house behind us. (TBH idk if we would stay in that level, Edge would have trust issues with everything after the stunt with the two blue entities. Additionally, I would think we try to escape back into the front rooms. However we shall never know~)

Sans: mostly the same as ut sans; but he wears some slacks instead of shorts, and some velcrow shoes. His bad time eye now also flashes purple

Papyrus: mostly same as ut; wears a red cape, his battle body is actual armor, and he has a helmet though he doesn’t really like it

Gaster: he is a bit shorter than papyrus, he wears a black turtle neck, black pants, and a gray lab coat over them with a few coffee stains. His expression is basically always tired

Undyne: her armor is a bit more spikey; her regular outfit has her

Mettaton: he is never in his box form, he also always has a different haircut the next time you see him

Alphys: she isn’t as nervous, and she wears some goggles

Asgore: his armor looks different

Frisk: same

Flowey: he actually guides you through the underground, but he is still evil and is just waiting to steal the souls, though he actually teams with you on genocide

Toriel: same

Napstablook: he is a bit less sad and actually makes music, though his music isn’t that well known

Sans: he acts the same as sans, but he’s a bit more relaxed and easygoing

Papyrus: he was actually able to join the royal guard and is the guard captain’s right hand

Gaster: he was the old royal scientist before being fired due to an experiment he wanted to try, he is also sans and papyrus’ cousin

Undyne: she is still the royal guard captain, and for some reason is asgore’s left hand person

Mettaton: his robot body is a genuinely sentient robot, but mettaton came to an agreement and now inhabits the robot (they share control)

Alphys: she is smarter and less nervous, though the amalgamates still happened and more of them at that

Asgore: he got more confidence to get out of the underground

Flowey: he makes vines and pellets, along with healing pellets

Napstablook: same, now with some music based attacks

Sans: same magic, but he is actually easier having 0atk and 0def: he has basically master telekinesis being the best in the underground; sans doesn’t have kr and instead has jt (justice) which increases his dmg by 1 per someone’s lv (aka lv20 takes 19dmg), he can also toggle jt on and off of someone

Papyrus: he is a lot more difficult often using his floating ability to dodge attacks, and even when he is hit his armor nullifies a good amount of dmg; he also has tennis balls which he tosses at people and shortly after the ball gets swarmed by annoying dogs

Gaster: he can summon bones, use blue magic, and can summon a variety of blasters

Undyne: she can now summon orange spears that bounce off a shield once, and blue spears that need to not be blocked

Mettaton: same

Alphys: same (lightning)

Asgore: same

-He can talk, but is a man of few words

-His place sells burgers, fries, hotdogs, and a variety of different drinks

-He actually takes vacation days from time to time

-He actually has a family he spends the holidays with, and sometimes is too ‘sick’ to go to work so he hangs out with family

Undyne:

-She is asgore’s left hand person

-Still has a crush on Alphys and has made a few attempts at asking her out but chickend out

-She accepted papyrus into the royal guard due to him almost beating her in a fight

-She can actually cook, and taught papyrus how to make food well

-She often says she’s the right hand of asgore in public since no one really knows it’s sans

Mad Mew Mew:

-They never actually possessed the dummy

-They did become Undyne’s training dummy

-They did ask Undyne out but was rejected because Undyne still loves Alphys

-Mad Mew Mew now tries being Undyne’s wingman, though it doesn’t really help too often

-They live with Undyne

-They actually work at Gerson’s shop to help pay rent

Bob:

-Bob the Temmie

-He works at Gerson’s and often sleeps there since he really hates how noisy temmie village is

-He is probably the most normal monster in contrast to the rest

Alphys:

-She has a home but often falls asleep while working at the lab

-She mainly works on how to break the barrier, though her second most important project is trying to revert the amalgamates

-She is a lot better at hiding how anxious she is rarely stuttering and sweating

-She actually is a great nuisance in genocide

-She is never seen in genocide but she often activates traps and puzzles whenever frisk gets close to any

-She also manages to lock up most of hotlands doors and stuff

-She became royal scientist after gaster was fired since sans got bored of the whole science thing and also quite

-She periodically gets help from sans

Mettaton:

-He often carries Alphys home when she falls asleep at the lab

-His body never explodes during his fight and instead acts like he’s defeated you by hovering a fake soul in his hand as your body is pulled away by some mtt workers

-After his fight you get to chat with him backstage

-Mtt resort is a direct competitor to grillbys and often works with Muffet to get more customers (muffet actually not overselling)

-In genocide he fights in his neo form and only loses since it’s a 2v1

Asgore:

-His flower garden is more diverse

-He is one of the hardest fights

-He often funds events throughout the underground

-He is the most aware of resets out of all monsters, though he doesn’t remember them well (Flowey doesn’t count as monster)

-He nickname isn’t king fluffybuns and is instead king buffybuns

Frisk:

-After Flowey absorbs the human souls in genocide they leave with him to now also destroy all of humanity

This take mainly started due to the fact that people always made sans stronger in hard mode takes, which I get but personally don’t like that they make him serious too

For a time, she observed the various classic sorts, but though some waved or even chatted a bit, there was no 'click' of connection, that sense of 'where were you, what took you so long to get here!' that she sought with any sentient being fixed to enter her life. Bit of a shame, really, since the Doctor had been right - a laid back Sans or more subdued Papyrus sort wouldn't be a bad bet for her based on what she'd read - but she wouldn't force a connection...

Not ready to give up just yet, she continued through the shop. She wasn't particularly drawn to the aquatics - just as well, as she had no place for an appropriate tank - and avians still gave her some disquiet due to that incident with an ex-roomate's parrot.... The cat-like blasters did appeal in terms of some aspects of their behaviour which was familiar, but she couldn't shake how much they reminded her of that cat she had to dissect in high school... And the only time in her life she had ever passed out. So, ultimately, she found herself mainly observing the legged and lamia sorts.

She also realized right quick she had been right that she didn't see herself bonding with the traditional fell types - tsundere punks, loud-mouthed self-proclaimed bosses, and weepy little subservient cry-baby variations of the tsundere just... Didn't mesh. She also knew better than to look for anything like a so-called killer, dust, or error type. She'd dealt with way too much violent crazy in her life already.

But for other types, she tried to keep an open mind... Ideally, it would be someone mature and eloquent enough with whom she could have a conversation, who would want to spend time with her, but didn't need excessive coddling.... And who was willing to look past or help with her foibles and adhd-inspired lack of housekeeping without yelling, nitpicking, or bossing her around -too- much.

Online she had been drawn to some of the gaster types, though most of them did sound either too unhinged, or too cerebral to find her of any interest... But some of the swapped papyri? or head-ful horrors and their gallows-humor loving siblings? She could even see herself dealing with a fun if overly lusty plum or G, if they didn't mind her lack of interest in anything beyond completely platonic companionship. And she had to admit - she usually was drawn to the misfits and damaged...rescues and refugees. But...again...

As she rounded a corner towards the back of the store, she reminded herself to be open to that feeling of connection, of 'rightness', regardless of where it originated.

The woman turns sharply at his voice, but then smiles, a bit nervous. "Ah yeah! I mean, if anyone clicks with me...". She shoves the glasses onto her head, sharp grey eyes anxiously meeting his eyelights. "I do wanna state up front that I have a couple kitties, though, if that's a problem...?"

about the bpbc au stuff I have a few guesses. Stuff about the sentient bullet patterns I think is the Gaster Blasters. And maybe about cloning papyrus somehow?? With one of the first posts showing 2 of them, or maybe that big amalgamate esc gaster blaster thing is a shape shifter of some sort. Or Gaster is the weird blaster beast somehow. You were talking about Frisk wanting to save one last monster do, that probably ties into things. The birthday card might be an inciting incident to the blaster beast. I think in one of the drawings the blaster was behind papyrus? Another thing that may tie into the card, as it is a card from papyrus. Frisk knows about the blasters, so they might have done a aborted/full geno run in the past, or the bros might have told them about it.

You’re right about one thing (that I didn’t expect anyone to guess atp so kudos hehe) frisk’s first out of two runs was an aborted genocide run.

They actually lose themself quite a bit towards the end as chara fully takes over, which is why their nightmares involving,,,him are so vague and maybe even possibly warped a bit from actual reality.

(In this au the genocide run goes…differently)

Chara had a hand in aborting the run; they don’t like senseless violence to that degree. Also, they don’t talk to frisk that much anymore so there isn’t that much in the way for an explanation for frisk atm.

BACKSTORY/WORLD INFO

This Sans originated from a bootleg/ripoff version of UT and still lives in it

This game was meant to mimic UT and tried to surpass it however the creator failed in that and abandoned the game mid-way through production and eventually the Au had malware downloaded into it changing/corrupting the characters

Sans cannot leave his Au but is still considered an Out!Code due to the fact that most of his Au is just corrupted or gone and that his world was meant to be deleted but parts of it still exist in a separate plane of existence in the multiverse

To get to this “Au”, you must either be experienced with Code or to have glitched in their, it is also possible to randomly go in the Au when teleporting Tho this is rare

When a person enters the Au they always end up in the judgement hall where they are greeted by Verdict

Only by getting past Verdict, you will be able to leave

In this “underground” there exists only three places Frozedin, Lavaland, and Ruined Castle

Frozedin looks similar to Snowdin however it has mostly Ice pillars instead of Trees

Lavaland is basically Hotland however there is now more lava and only large rock pillars similar to mountains

Ruined Castle was unfinished but was meant to house Asgore who is in an incomplete state where he force to stay in the castle and never speaks nor moves

As for the characters/monsters there are barely any monsters and some of the main characters

However none of them are sentient

Typical Sans abilities- Gaster blasters, bones, and etc

He also has the other main characters basic abilities however he can only use them when he shapeshifts into that specific form

Justice- With the Justice soul/trait his speed, agility, and attack stats increased as long with his perception and stamina, this trait also gives him his KR back

Determination- With the DT soul/trait all of his stats increase overall and this soul/trait can be combined with others

Kindness- With the Kindness soul/trait his defense stats gets raised a lot more so than the other soul/traits, he also gains a passive regeneration but it is really slow

Patience- With the Patience soul/trait his perception and stamina increases more so than the other soul/traits, this soul/trait also allows him to predict his opponent movements to some degree

Integrity- With the Integrity soul/trait his speed, agility and stamina increases, this soul/trait allows him to dodge attacks automatically

Perseverance- With the Perseverance soul/trait it increases all his stats overall (but is much lower than DT) however it increases his health stat more so than the other souls, this soul/trait allows him to gain invulnerability for 10 seconds after being hit

Bravery- With the Bravery soul/trait it increases his attack/strength and his attack speed more so than the other soul/traits, this soul/trait allows him to boost his stats even further each time his health get lower

(Weapons)

(Justice) Energy Gun- With the Gun equipped with the justice soul/trait it allows him to shoot magic bullets or beams out of his gun, he can also switch the modes to be rapid fire or standard. If he uses a lot of energy he can fire full-power beams at EXTREMELY high speeds

If he does not have the justice soul, it only allows him to shoot magic bullets in standard mode

(Perseverance) Torn Notebook- With the torn notebook equipped with the perseverance soul/trait it allows him to create purple strings, he can manipulate the strings to be used for certain attacks, but is mainly used for immobilizing his opponent, he can also use strings for unique attack patterns similar to Muffet’s attacks.

If he does not have the perseverance soul/trait the book only increases the duration of his invulnerability from 10 seconds to 17 seconds

(Determination) Real Knife- With the real knife equipped with the DT soul/trait it overall increases all of his stats, allows to fire slash projectiles, and allows him to survive any fatal attack one. If enough killing intent is directed into his attack with the real knife he can do 999999 dmg insta killing the opponent

If he does not have the DT soul/trait he can only fire slash projectiles

(Bravery)Tough Gloves- With the gloves equipped with the bravery soul/trait it increases his stats further and allows him to see the vital areas or the weaknesses of his opponent

If he does not have the bravery soul/trait the gloves will only increase his corresponding stats

(Patience) Toy Knife- With the toy knife equipped with the patience soul/trait, it allows him to summon floating knifes that he can control/manipulate

If he does not have the patience soul/trait he can only direct the knife in one direction

(Integrity) Ballet Shoes- With the shoes equipped with the integrity soul/trait it increases his speed even more and allows him to become so fast, time slows down around him and even gains the ability dash

If he does not have the integrity soul/trait he only gains the ability to dash but it’s not as fast

(Kindness) Frying Pan- With the pan equipped with the kindness soul it allows him to create green shields that can protect him from physical and magic attacks it also allows him to heal himself or others. If poured with a lot of magic the shields can become indestructible but uses a lot of magic

If he does not have the kindness soul/trait the pan will still create shields but will be much weaker and he can no longer heal himself or others
