re-introducing myself

Name: Aly Age: 25 Known as: @septicplier before Been in the JSE and Markiplier fandom since: 2015 Other interests: BTS, Genshin Impact So I took a really really reeeeeeeeally long break. I think for 2 -3 years. I've been lurking from time to time before but I think I wanna get back to this again. What lured me back in? The IRIS Project. I may not watch Jack like religiously but I was still caught up. Before I left, the last ego video I watched was the CHASE one and I just saw that he did a Marvin one and my jaw dropped like I didn't expect him to do one. And now, the IRIS project OH MY GOD. I was speechless. I was there during the livestream with the puzzles (YES, I HATE THE PIPES) and watched sean's livestream on twitch talking about the project and he outdid himself! I thought the acting was phenomenal! and I'm glad mark, amy, ethan, arin and the other staff helped him make this possible. I really can't wait for more because I'm sure he'll bring back ALL the egos again. We are in for a ride. HOW ARE YOU ALL?

Lol I remember the first time I encountered an Anti was when I was 13 and at the time I shipped someone younger with an older character at the time I didn't know their ages I just thought they looked pretty together and that was all it took this one anti was funny because they where over here telling me it is wrong and how I'm a pedo but I went to their blog and they shipped Septicplier and was talking mad shit about their GFs but yeah I'm the bad person

It's funny, people love aus where one person is a high school or college nerd and the other is a punk, jock, bad boy ect. And you always see Jack as the nerd in these aus cuz of him having a smaller build and being the bottom in most portrayals.

Thing is, they were the opposite irl. Mark was an achne ridden band geek who wanted to be an engineer. Whereas Jack was loud, a goof off, wore gages, was big into heavy metal and played the drums, going so far as to be in a heavy metal band during his first time in college.

I want some nerd au stories of that, and them bonding over their shared love of video games.

i am thankful that you have started to voice your concerns. exactly why i started as well. i was too quiet for months and months when he started to 'change' but now i dont care if people unfollow or send me hate because we have all the right to criticize/correct him and peple should stop seeing it as hate/cancel culture. (and this is the time where i'll be waiting for stannies to hate on me by voicing this out to you, hiding with shades)

Oh, I fully understand your feelings. I also was holding my thoughts to myself and just watched at all this mess from the backseat because I was very scared to voice my thoughts because of the blacklash from the "white knites of Seán"

Also it really frustrates me that some people think just because we criticize him or voiceing concerns about him or some of his actions, that means we just blindly hate him and just want to cancel him. Which is not true. Because a lot of people here are talking about this stuff not because they are salty, or because they want the old yelling energetic green haired bastard back. No! We talk about all of this, because he's turning himself into a person that he always said he will never become. And people really concerned about this change.

I also really "like" when people say " he already apologized for his mistakes, why are you still hating on him?" But here's the thing we don't hate him. I think that it's really amazing that he accepted his mistakes and apologized for that. I fully respect that. But he also should learn from his mistakes and try to grow better as a person, because if he won't do that, that means that all of his apologies are just empty words that were said so people could leave him alone.

hey! i saw your post about the comment reblog thing and i absolutely agree with you. imagine working hard on something you're proud of but ppl reply instead of reblogging like it's not that hard? there are tags, you can use 'em to type in your comments. im not mad or whining but it is discouraging for us to make more things that dont get appreciated much. likes are vv nice gesture but reblogging helps a lot. i dont voice out that much bc ppl might get mad but im glad someone sees that as well

it really is discouraging, in so many ways - i already said what i had to say earlier but just seeing someone reply to a post and move on? it feels like a cold slap in the face each time. 

yea, you can try to think about reasons for why they did that, but you’ll just end up going down a rabbit hole and end up losing confidence in what you do, the more you think about it.
