Hello and welcome back to my blog!
It’s been a minute, hasn’t it? Life got in the way and honestly, I’ve been taking my sweet time with this new build. It also didn’t help that the Sim File Share site kept giving me errors whenever I tried to upload it and I was supposed to post this last month.
Even now, I’m still dealing with errors on the site and after some frustration, I’ve decided to look into alternative sites for uploading content in the future. But after all the setbacks, it’s finally ready!
Thanks for sticking around and I really appreciate all the likes/reblogs, you all are the best! 💜
Click on the ’Keep Reading’ below for more information and pictures on this lot.
📣 Right-click on a picture and select ’Open image in new tab’ for a clearer view.
This clinic is designed to give a real-life feeling of visiting a healthcare facility. Inside, you’ll find a: reception area, consultation/exam rooms, pharmacy, laboratory, x-ray/radiology, restroom, locker room, staff break room, doctors office and a large empty room for the rabbit hole rug/door. Now, a couple of things to keep in mind - the layout is designed with a small staff in mind but you can use the extra space in the second floor, where the rabbit hole rug/door is placed, if you want to add more offices or any other services. Just make sure that there is enough space for the rabbit hole rug/door to avoid routing issues. I had to get creative with the signs for this build as I couldn’t find anything that felt right or any CCs that matches the layout of the clinic so I made my own directory signs. It is included in the download file and I’ve posted the details along with this post as it is an add-on for the clinic. I’m using a font called Simlish Deja Vu by gazifu@MTS for the signs and I’ve also included translations in the picture above. It’s not perfect but you know what? It does the job! I have also placed a big sign shown on the clinic that translates to 'Pharmacy' and I know it might seem a bit out of place but honestly, it’s the only large sign I liked that fit the building aesthetic I was going for. 📣 Please note that the CC included in the lot are not included on the download file. I’ve compiled a list for those interested in downloading them separately (please click the links above or go to WCIF Navigation page) but those are not required and will be automatically replaced in the game. Any expansion packs with build items listed in the Details section above may be required for this lot to show up in your game. This clinic has been such a fun build to put together and I hope you all enjoy the build. This lot has been play-tested and let me know if you experience any problems on your end!

Solarpunk Worldbuilding 2 - Mesh Intranet

*Artwork by @bird_wells214 as reference*

*Unknown artist*
As mentioned in the previous post, there is still internet in this world but it's different now. No longer is it doom scrolling that's filled with politics, drama, influences, and more. Now, it's the intranet.
The internet exists, but it's localized. Instead of one global net, each town has ther own unique mesh intranet. Communities share and upload stories, tech guides, magazines, songs, ans documentaries - all accessible for free.
"Influencers" exist in a way, but it's different now (more on that in another post).
While every Data Slate has a journal and map built in, there's a collection of unique "apps" that people can get and use.
This includes but not limited to:
Mood Gardens - Like a mood tracker in a sense. A gentle, visual space where users "plant" their feelings like seeds. You can select a mood (calm, angry, happy, sad, etc) and pair it with a sound, color, or image. Others can visit your little digital garden and leave small acts of care - Like a kind comment shaped like a dew drop, or a song in the shape of a mushroom. Mood Gardens bloom or wilt based on how the person feels over time, creating a space of quiet emotional check-ins and empathy.
Story Weave - A collaborative story writing and memory keeping project. Residents can start a thread with a piece of story - fiction or nonfiction, fantasy or memoir - and others can respond with artwork, voice recordings, music or the next part of the tale. It's part art gallery, part campfire circle, and part community archive.
Masked Mosaic - An anonymous space where users can share secrets, confessions, or thoughts they're not ready to attach a name to yet. Every post appears as a piece of Mosaic art with changing colors and patterns based on tone. It's moderated with care and compassion by community - appointed listeners rather than traditional mods.
Patchwork Trades - Kind of like Facebook Marketplace. A beautifully, digital barter board shaped like a quilt. Instead of listings and posts, every item or service offered appears as a patch. You might hover over or click a patch and find "hand-drawn pronoun pins" or "will watch your cat and water your plants." When Trades happen, a thread is digitally stitched between the two patches, showing the connections growing.
BuzzHive - A social update board styled like a honeycomb. You can share what you're up to - "Baking sweet potato rolls!" "Making rain charms today." "Feeling soft + sleepy." - but instead of likes and comments, others can send reactions like tiny bees: "hum of support" "sunbeam hug" "sprout of joy" or "quiet sit with you."
GroveTube - This is where people post tutorial videos - like how to bind books with wild-grass thread, build a bee-sade lantern, or compost using only forest scraps. It also includes soft-spoken vlogs, musical performances from tree balconies, and messages from traveling members. There's no algorithm, just categories like "soothing" "skillshare" "storytelling" or "random joy."
Rest Mode/Gentle Logout - Instead of pushing for endless engagement, the intranet encourages resting offline. If someone logs out for a few days or weeks, their profile softly fades to dusk colors, with a message like, "[User] is in rest-mode. Send soft love." Others can leave soft tokens or small notes that don't alert the person until they log back in.
The Vault of Remembering - A quiet, encrypted memorial place for those who have passed on. It contains memories, audio clips, digital letters, and little symbols like wind chimes or falling stars that friends and family can leave behind. It's updated during community Remembrance days with candles lit both physically and digitally.
The ideas are free to use for whatever you want or use for inspiration! All I ask is that you CREDIT ME! And feel free to send me an ask on more details to this lovely world :)

WIP: Cubic Dynamics Kitbash Series
Published: 3-4-2024 | Updated: N/A SUMMARY Cubic Dynamics by John B. Cube and Marcel Dusims forged the future with furnishings that were minimalist in design and maximalist in erudite pretension. Generations later, the company continues to produce edge-of-cutting-edge designs. Cubic Dynamics Kitbash (Simmons, 2023-2024) will be a series of 80+ objects for offices, corporate, exhibitions, and business spaces. This collection works as an add-on to the Cubic Dynamics store set (EA/Maxis; archived at Garden of Shadows, 2016; 2015) and comes with multiple color options. This set is designed for kitbashing/modular builds and uses the repository technique (more info/resources HERE) and merged files for your convenience. DETAILS Requires all EPs/SPs. Most of the objects, including all required meshes, are 1-2 tiles and low-poly (less than 1000). There will be 15+ semi-high poly objects included (between 1100-2800 poly) but these won’t be required if you want to discard those from your saves. Offices shouldn’t just be pleasing to look at – there will be functional CC too! PREVIEW SHOTS
Mix and recolor items to create attractive reception, lobby, and entrance areas. The neon metal detectors are deco lights and the burglar alarm on the ceiling is functional/fully animated.
Seen above: I combined items to make a gift shop and customer service center.
Create cubicles, workstations, study rooms, and so much more!
Set up rooms for team meetings, crafting, hobbies, co-working, and other group activities. As you can see, the overall design is consistent with my taste for retro-futurist looks.
Why not whip up a few executives offices, corporate suites, conference rooms, and press auditoriums? Let your high-ranking office heads flex a lil' bit. TEST LOT I’m considering putting the test lot up for download. If that happens, you’ll likely need to download the entire series as well as 3-4 other sets on this site. On the other hand, I may strip the lot down to just items from this set and maxis defaults.
“LIVE” PREVIEW FOOTAGE @chocolatecitysim has been graciously testing the lot/items in her game for several months now, using it for her city’s government business. See live preview footage of this series in her Sims 2 Sunday Streams (via Twitch) HERE. CREDITS Thanks: @chocolatecitysim and @ranabluu for testing items in-game. Sims 2 Shenanigans and SimCrafters geniuses for much help, tutorials, advice, fixes, and resources along the way. Sources: Beyno (Korn via BBFonts), EA/Maxis, Offuturistic Infographic (Freepik).

Cluedosims-Shasta 3t2 Mobile Modern Dining Recolor
I accidentally subscribed to an AI designing service (photos, pictures, etc.). So, why not use its full potential? I am also obsessed with this modern dining set, which I want to recolor with a cheerful palette.

I once dined out with my friend at a resto-bar I think the tile and wood combination on the bar is cool. So here is a recolor inspired by that bar

The living chair was also cloned and converted into a dining chair, I really want this chair to function as a desk chair as well, so with the help of LadySimplayer8 on MTS, who patiently taught me how to create a living chair from scratch, and voila! (this is actually her mesh, mine is kind of broken, but I am learning ^^)

I tried AI version of wood pattern, I gotta say they are all awesome :D
Coffee Table Version:

I think mixing texture on this set is fun xD, I love how, glass, metal, and wood mixing in harmony to create a beautiful set of colors. Meshes are included in the file. However, I didn't include the ceiling lamp, please visit cluedosims to get it
Download
Credits to:
@cluedosims, @shastakiss, ladysimplayer8, Freepik, Pixlr
Also thanks to @jacky93sims, @episims, for giving me tutorials about creating subsets :D
Okay, enjoy guys, please let me know if you encounter problems ^^

20 PATRON CELEBRATION DUMP
Hey y'all!!
Thank you guys so much for 20 members!! I know that might not sound like a lot, but I seriously never thought I'd get this far. Especially with the wigga. 😅
Seriously though, thank y'all so, so much for all the support you've given me. Here's to better things all 2024 and beyond!
To celebrate getting 20 members, here's a simple, miscellaneous dump. You get three cosmetics, a string mod, a career, a sim, and a build buy item. Enjoy!!
VICTORIA BROWS
PRETTY GIRL MOLES
FOUR HORSEMEN TATTOOS
- Hand traced from the OG pics
- Three swatches for each design
DIASPORA FLAGS
- 79 swatches, 6 dividers
- EA Mesh
PRETTY GOOD DISH OVERRIDE
Small string mod to replace the "fairly tasty dish" text in the moodlet.
VENEER TECH CAREER
Were you the child who gave their parents makeovers they didn't have the heart to tell you were bad? Do you want to feel as important as a doctor but don't want to waste your time on boring topics like gum disease? Are you a sadist?
If you fall into any - or all - of these categories, you'll love being a veneer tech.
Just because you ain't on some board doesn't mean you can't make board money! All you really need is some glue, gloves, and Invisalign, anyway!
Hell, if people cared about taking advantage of people, half the businesses out now would be closed. Shops shut all the way up. You deserve to get your bag too, right?
...maybe your first investment should be a lawyer.
This is a base game-esque career with four levels and two branches. Y'all know I am very new, and I couldn't find a tutorial on how to make active careers, so I apologize in advance for it being so bare. :(
I do hope y'all enjoy though!
Levels:
You just got your online certificate from the 6 hour seminar your favorite TikToker hosted and are now ready to service the streets with your dental expertise. The only problem is you don't have no expertise and are not a dentist.
But if that didn't stop your "mentor", why should it stop you? Try and make something shake for a little while. Worst comes to worst, you gotta flee the state... or the country...
...you really should look into that lawyer, friend.
Shade Room Famous
Due to the rampant amount of horror stories you have, your face is now plastered all over The Shade Room, the largest urban gossip blog in all of the US.
But to your surprise and mine tool - it seems like the saying about all attention is true, because people are now lined up your block waiting for the Smilez special.
Guess all you can do now is make sure your career lasts longer than your teeth.
Viral on TikTok
Fame looka nice on you, doesn't it? At least online fame does. After getting some shine on Shade Room, Hollywood Unlocked, The Neighborhood Talk, and even more, you've managed to rack up one million followers on TikTok. You're almost ready to release your own seminar!
Be careful, though, newfound fame brings newfound opposition. And with your multiple medical and ethical violations it won't take much to get unplugged.
The Plug
After all of the hours of hard scamming you put in, you've done it. You've got the fame, the fortune, the mid-tier rapper/influencer connections, and about 21 different YouTube videos about your crimes.
The only thing to do now is sit back, count up, and not get indicted.
And hey, if that doesn't work? At least you're making enough for a one way to Jamaica.
Branches:
Celebrity Scammer
Now, about that mid-tier clientele you had...
They are all big time now. And so are you! You've 'hustled' and 'grinded' your way to the big leagues.
No more barbershops. You're doing Future's teeth in the back of your mansion. Their teeth may decay, but your star certainly isn't!
It doesn't even matter how many people say you scamming. Or how many horror stories have turned into full on nightmares.
You're the Dr. Miami of teeth now. Can't nobody say anything about that!
Seminar Leader
Now, about that seminar you said you were gon start...
You did. In fact, the only two options on your website are to book and to, well, book.
In doing so, not only have you managed to stack up even more, but now you look wise and charitible to 5% of Instagram users. Win win!
It doesn't matter if most people think you still scamming. Or the fact you don't send out all the invites to people who signed up.
You're a business person now. Can't nobody say nothing about that!
HALANI HAYNES
(romantic- self assured - hot headed)
Only one outfit is done, the rest are an underwear set!

There is absolutely no way I can imagine that Option is causing that error. That'd be like turning on the "Hide Taskbar" setting causing your GPU to catch fire.

Thoughts on Development
As an aspiring indie game dev, I've dabbled in many things, and will dabble in many more. I felt inspired to put words to text on my experience in trying to create games.
I'm not sure whether I'm the minority or not on this subject, but I have found that I prefer coding something from the ground up as opposed to using a service that automates parts of it. I've used Unity and RPG Maker off and on in the past, and while many of my favorite games (looking at you, ISaT) are made in RPG Maker, neither seems to have the right feel for me.
I think part of it is the learning curve of the GUI, which in theory should make things easier. I'm sure that for many people it does. Perhaps even the vast majority! But at the end of the day, I've spent so long learning what menu items do what, forgetting where to find certain functionalities, and hunting down tutorials and documentation on buttons and features that I could have really gotten into the meat of something already.
Unity has so much going on (especially for a person who will only ever make 2D games) that if there's any time at all between dev sessions, I find myself forgetting things. None of this is to knock Unity for its mechanical aspects! It's simply my own style and how I interface with the world.
RPG Maker has less of that issue, but more of another issue altogether: its rigidity. If you want to make a turn-based game in the style that the software is built for, you're golden. Want to make a walking sim with no combat, no menus for leveling up, etc? Want to have a skill tree? What about custom status effects with timers and cooldowns? Prepare to don your religious attire and worship the creators of plugins (or forge your own path and learn to code them yourself), because you have to break the system to do things that I expected a bit more flexibility on (All Hail Yanfly our Lord and Savior.) Somehow in spite of this, I've spent more time dev-ing in RPG Maker than anything else at this point. Eventually I think I found a rhythm, and got very invested in those projects.
At this point though, I've been learning various languages for game dev to try and find one that suits my style. I've dipped my toes into Python, Ruby, and even Common Lisp, and each have their own strengths and also things that didn't quite mesh with me. While this process certainly involves reinventing the wheel sometimes, it's fun to really fundamentally understand the mechanical nature of the game being created because I coded it. I'm curious to dabble in more things, as I find learning to be incredibly enjoyable. At the same time, learning forever does not an indie game make, so I will put dabbling on hold for a while so creation can occur.

8 Smart Money Moves: Using Your New Business Startup Loan Wisely

Starting a new business is an exciting venture. Although it often requires a huge cash investment. You may be able to get the funding. You need to realize your business goals by obtaining a startup loan. To ensure the continued existence of your business, you need to handle this cash carefully. This in-depth tutorial will discuss wise financial decisions that enable you to get the most out of your financing for a new business starting.
Create a Detailed Business Plan
Make sure you have a clear business strategy set up before you start spending your startup funds. Your business goals, target market, rivalry analysis, and financial predictions should all be included in your strategy. A well-defined plan can help you manage the costs and, if extra financing is required, make it simpler to find it.
Invest in Essential Equipment and Resources
Investing in the tools and supplies your company needs to run effectively is one of the first steps in making judicious use of your startup financing. This might involve investing in equipment, software, or other resources that are directly related to the supply of your goods or services. Set these investments in order of importance to launch and operate your company successfully.
Build a Strong Online Presence
In the digital era, establishing a robust online presence stands as an indispensable imperative for any enterprise. Allocate a segment of your initial financial backing towards the development of a sophisticated website, embark on an investment in the realm of search engine optimization (SEO), and proceed to initiate and curate dynamic profiles across various social media platforms. The skillful development of an organized and refined online presence may successfully promote the growth of your outreach and attract previously unknown consumers.
Hire and Train Talent
The achievement of your enterprise hinges upon the individuals steering its course. Dedicate a portion of your financial resources to finding and developing the best employees for your company. Employees endowed with specialized skill sets can be catalysts for innovation and exponential expansion. Consider offering appealing compensation packages and extensive perks in an effort to attract top-tier maestros.
Marketing and Advertising
Certainly, no matter how exceptional your product or service may be, the imperative for efficacious marketing and advertising remains unaltered. Dedicate a financial allotment for marketing campaigns, pay-per-click advertising initiatives, and the creation of compelling content. It is crucial that your marketing initiatives mesh perfectly with your brand identity and connect with the target market.
6. Manage Cash Flow Wisely
The long-term survival of your business depends critically on the careful control of your cash flow. Maintain strict control over your finances, wisely allocate the money from your startup loan towards the payment of early operating costs, and plan techniques for generating income at the same time. Maintaining a cushion of cash to gracefully manage unexpected costs that may come is wise advice.
7. Explore Cost-Cutting Measures
While it's essential to invest wisely, also explore cost-cutting measures where possible. Look for ways to reduce overhead expenses without compromising the quality of your products or services. Efficiency in spending can make your startup loan go further.
8. Plan for Contingencies
Enterprises routinely encounter unanticipated hurdles along their journey. Therefore, it is judicious to earmark a segment of your initiation loan as a contingency reserve. This reserve, when prudently managed, serves as a veritable lifeline, enabling you to adeptly navigate the labyrinth of unforeseen adversities, ranging from capricious market undulations to unanticipated financial exigencies, all without deviating from your meticulously charted course of business stratagem.
Conclusion
A significant step towards achieving your entrepreneurial goals is taking out a unique startup loan for your growing firm. You may strategically use your money resources by making wise financial decisions, which will increase the likelihood of long-term profitability. Always keep in mind that every financial decision you make should flow naturally from your company goals and actively contribute to the expanding success of your business. Your startup may not only survive but also prosper in the very competitive business environment with careful strategic planning and wise investments. Read the full article
