I'll try to not be super embarrassing in case someone actually reads this

I think I've mentioned this before but it's still mind boggling to me to think that at this point, I've been stanning for more than half the time sf9 has been active (as sf9). When I first joined I was, as everyone is when they first start out, a baby fantasy who felt like she had so much to catch up on, like I wasn't "that big of a fan" bc I wasn't there since the beginning. At the time sf9 was turning 3 and already finding their sound and style. But even if I was "late" I'm so happy I've found them and decided to be a fan. The way everything happened by chance I really feel like it's fate, the way everything played out. (My friend pointed out how I stanned seventeen in 2017 so of course 2019 would be the year for sf9😂) but I had been listening to them (the sensuous album, at least) since late 2018 but it wasn't until enough that I decided to check out more of their stuff. Even then, I think I was ready to just be a casual stan. But then they announced their tour and my friend and I had to go !! So to prep I binged their content bc I needed to know the people I'm about to see lolll

So that takes me to jaeyoon.. I was watching Star Road and got to his turn when he had to resist laughin/smiling while other members tickled him.. honestly I really cannot explain why I fell for him the way I did...but for whatever reason the moment I saw him I swear my heart skipped and I was like HIM. That's my sf9 bias!! And he's been able to maintain the title ever since (yes we've had some bias wrecking but....we won't talk about that rn dgjfgsksh) and seeing him in person!!!! Just made it even more clear how attracted I was to him like not just abt his appearance but his character I just have always loved his energy and personality he's always such a wonderful and endearing person to watch how could I NOT love him??? But then as I started to really stan (literally the moment I left the concert I was like I HAVE to stan now) I just found more and more things i love about him. His relationship with the other members, his laugh, his singing, the way he both has a great sense of coordination (we stan dancer jaeyoon in this house) but also is just such a clumsy mess at times and how awkward he is sometimes but like he's not even awkward he's just HIM idk like do you understand ??? Jaeyoon I love you, and I love how you love! Where else will I find a man who decorates 89 bags, posts 89 pics for his birthday? How hard he worked on binnies bracelet even after it fell apart like twice😭😭😭

OK maybe it's not the healthiest coping mechanism to use someone as your comfort but he really is my kpop comfort boy 😭😭 (I do think a good part of it is his voice, it's just so comforting to me. Or is it comforting bc I like him? Do i like him bc he's comforting? It's been so long I'm not even sure anymore) which is why it really was kinda hard on me when his enlistment was announced like I was literally in the middle of looking at a photo book and was ON HIS PAGE when the enlistment notice was posted. Idk if the timing makes it better or worse tbh. (Definitely worse) I feel silly about it sometimes bc it's not like he's someone who is physically present in my everyday life, it's not really much different from before, just watching him from behind my screen. But there are moments I miss him and hope he's doing alright, bc that's just how people feel when they care about someone right? And i care about jaeyoon a lot, and I'm really thankful I have had him and all the sepgus to make me laugh, smile, and cry, to connect with fellow fantasy, over the last few years.

Maybe I'm just extra sentimental bc my ult group who got me into kpop also just had their anniversary recently (iykyk) so my emotions are HIGH but also I've just. Been in such a tough space lately I'm always sensitive tbh LMAO

Miyoung sat on her bed reading. She had recently picked up No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai and was loving it. She was definitely going to reread it.

She reached for her coffee that she had on her bedside table as she reread the last bit of the current chapter she was on. She really liked the style of this author. Though she had really been liking a lot of different styles lately, seeing as she had been filling her time with reading lately. If she wasn’t filming for her channel, she was reading.

All this reading may or may not be her way of coping. (Coping with Youngbin and Inseong being gone due to enlistment.) Miyoung had no idea how she was going to deal with all of her members, if only two had enlisted and she was struggling.

Basically, in Miyoung’s mind, if she spends less time with her members now, it’ll hurt less when they leave. Was it working? Of course not. She was miserable. And she was pretty sure that her members were starting to worry, which was never a good thing.

Miyoung startled when the door to her room opened. Looking up, she saw Seokwoo and Sanghyuk walk in. She was not ready for whatever shenanigans they were about to bring, but judging by their faces, Miyoung knew that there was no way for her to avoid it.

“What do you want?” she asked, closing her book. She folded her arms over her chest, raising a brow at the two. They in turn, side-eyed each other then smirked as they walked over to her.

“We miss you,” Seokwoo said, pouting.

“We saw each other this morning,” Miyoung shook her head.

“Yeah, in passing. After you got your coffee, you came back in here and haven’t left ever since,” Sanghyuk whined, walking over to her and sitting on her bed.

Miyoung shrugged, picking at a loose thread of her sweat shorts.

“Mimi, we’re not scolding you. It’s just that this has been happening a lot. Other than practice, we’ve barely seen you,” Seokwoo said, sitting on the floor next to where she was on the bed.

She shrugged again.

“Is there a reason why you’re avoiding us?” the taller of the two asked.

“I’m not avoiding you,” Miyoung was quick to respond.

“Really, now?” Sanghuyk asked, raising his own brow at the girl.

“I’m not! I’ve just been busy,” Miyoung shrugged, though she wasn’t sure if that was going to hold up in court.

“Reading doesn’t count, Mimi. Plus you’re a fast reader. So when you’re done with a book you should have plenty of time to hang out with us,” Jaeyoon said from the doorway.

Miyoung glared at him as he walked through, the rest of the boys trailing behind him. This was starting to feel like an intervention of sorts.

“What is this?” she asked, waving vaguely at everyone as they sat at her desk, her bed, or on the floor.

“It’s exactly what you think it is,” Taeyang said, climbing over her to sit between her and the wall.

“An intervention,” Chanhee nodded.

“We don’t know what’s going on exactly, but last time you pulled away from us, you were being assaulted,” Juho said.

Miyoung stilled. They were right. She scoffed at herself, breaking her promise of always coming to them no matter what.

“You think this is funny?” Youngkyun asked, frowning.

“Listen, we can’t read you the way Youngbin-hyung can. We don’t know what’s wrong, but we can at least see that something’s wrong,” Juho said, folding his arms over his chest.

“I’m laughing, but not because it’s funny. It’s because I thought I had changed, but I didn’t. I’m still hiding things and possibly leading to trouble,” Miyoung said, running her hands through her hair.

The boys looked at each other then back at Miyoung, as Taeyang spoke up. “Then tell us.”

Miyoung covered her face with her hands. She could feel her face heating up. The fact that she was pulling away from them because she didn’t want to have to deal with the emotions that will come with them enlisting, was embarrassing.

“Are you in trouble?” Juho asked.

The visual looked up, shaking her head, “I’m not. I promise you.”

“Then what?” Sanghyuk asked.

“It’s embarrassing,” she answered, shrugging. Miyoung chewed on her lip, looking at her hands.

At that, the boys all looked at each other. Deeming it better that she feel embarrassed over unsafe, they agreed to wait for her.

“Then you don’t have to tell us now,” Seokwoo said.

“As long as you’re not in any danger,” Chanhee added.

Miyoung looked up at them. She could tell that they meant it, but now she was feeling guilty. There’s no reason she couldn't tell them. It’s not like they’d make fun of her.

She took in a deep breath then spoke up, “I don’t want you guys to go.” It came out mumbled.

“What do you mean?” Taeyang asked.

Miyoung shrugged, “Enlistment.”

“Oh, Mimi,” Sanghyuk said, grabbing her and pulling her onto his lap. She curled up, hiding her rapidly flushing face in his chest.

“Wait, Young-ah. Do you miss Youngbin and Inseong?” Jaeyoon asked.

Miyoung nodded her head.

“And now you’re already thinking  about how you’ll miss us too when we go?” Youngkyun asked.

She nodded again.

“I know that this is a serious thing for you, but God damn, this is fucking adorable,” Juho smiled.

Miyoung groaned. “Don’t make fun.”

“We’re not,” Taeyang said from behind her and Sanghyuk. He ran his hand through her hair.

“Noona, we’re not all leaving at once. You’ll never be alone,” the maknae assured.

“I know, but that doesn't mean I won’t miss each of you when you leave,” she pouted.

“Is that why you’ve been distant? You were embarrassed to tell us?” Jaeyoon asked.

“Sort of. But it was mostly because I figured if I spent less time with you guys, I’d grow less attached and it’s hurt less,” she confessed.

“Okay, my turn to hold our cute Mimi,” Seokwoo said as he pulled Miyoung from Sanghyuk’s lap and onto his. Sanghyuk squawked as she was pulled away. Miyoung on the other hand, flushed again as she was being handled like a ragdoll. (It was always like that when it came to cuddling with these boys.)

Once in the tallest member’s lap, she was turned to face the rest of her members, much to her embarrassment. Seokwoo wrapped his arms around her middle and nuzzled her neck. Miyoung squirmed.

“I’m going to tell you right now, Miyoung, that your plan was going to backfire on you so badly,” Juho said.

“I figured,” she mumbled.

“Listen, Noona. All you need to know is that you’ll never be alone, and we won’t be gone forever. Two years will fly by before you know it. Plus half of us aren’t due to enlist for years,” Youngkyun said.

Miyoung nodded. She knew all that. Still, that didn't stop her from not wanting them to go. “I know.”

“Then let’s focus on the now. Yeah the hyungs aren’t here now, but we’ll keep in contact and they’ll visit too,” Taeyang said.

“Youngbin-hyung will definitely come back if he hears that Miyoung was crying over him,” Seokwoo spoke into her neck, chuckling.

“Yah! I’m not crying over him,” Miyoung protested.

“At the moment, but if you’re missing them that bad, I can only imagine how many times you’ve had to stop yourself from crying,” Chanhee smirked.

Miyoung pouted, “Maybe it would be better if you all left.”

“You don’t mean that,” Taeyang said with a knowing look.

“No. No, I don’t,” Miyoung shook her head, frowning. The others chuckled.

“Okay. Okay. That's enough pouting. How about we order takeout and watch a movie then we can prove to Mimi that she’ll never be alone?” Jaeyoon suggested.

“Sounds like a plan to me,” Seokwoo said, standing up. He threw Miyoung over his shoulder and followed the others to the living room.

“Mimi, we love you,” Taeyang smiled, looking at Miyoung who was hiding her blush behind her hands.

“I love you guys too,” she mumbled out. She smiled despite herself.

I think Hwi & Seokwoo are a lil old school and since their own physical personalities are so built, they may think they look better with a thicker person. Zuho is purely cause of his height. Even Seokwoo considers height, but build is primary.

Scenario:

Being the only female participant joining a competition with different male groups felt like a lonely battle. Being extremely cautious with the way how you act, talk and behave or else the editors of the show would make you look like you're interested with a member from another group. And that's the least you wanted - dating rumours in the middle of the competition.

"Since Y/N is the only female member in the group" TVXQ's Changmin said, looking at you while holding his cue card. "The experts have granted her a special stage" The boys from different groups let out a chorus of "oh" while looking at you in amazement. "However, since Y/N is a member of ATEEZ, she will be paired or grouped with a member or two from different groups. The final score will be calculated and be distributed within the respective groups of each members." And on the screen behind Changmin flashed different songs to choose from. Ranging from Triple H's Retro Future, Nasty Nasty's Knock, Troublemaker's Now and Baekhyun and Suzy's Dream. With the many songs to choose, it is up to the producers to choose your group members and songs. Unknown to you, one member isn't particularly happy to hear this.

Hongjoong:

Hongjoong has been regulating and monitoring you with your individual schedule. Even though he too has to practice with their next stage, he couldn't help but be distracted now that you've been practicing with BtoB's Peniel and Minhyuk after the producers of the show gave you three the Retro Future stage. Since he is the leader, he will use his authority to tell their manager that no inappropriate choreography or gestures should be done around you and even went as far to tell their stylist to give you costumes that doesn't show a lot of skin.

During rehearsals, even though participants cannot watch, Hongjoong would find his ways to keep an eye on you and his two senior idols. Since he is the leader, his words are the law and the staffs must pay attention to him.

Seonghwa:

He would tag along with you to watch you practice for your special stage, but in reality, he wants to come with you because he doesn't like other men around you. Most especially how he didn't like that you would be doing a Retro Future stage with BtoB's Peniel and Minhyuk. With you around, Seonghwa held on his nice and kind act, cheering and hyping you up while you practice. But when you aren't around, he turns to become cold and emotionless around them. Not even sparing a glance or acknowledging their presence.

Seonghwa would lose it if he sees you wearing short and revealing clothes for the rehearsals. Not only will he see you in those costumes, but other men will too. On the outside, Seonghwa had to get his act together - being the supportive member he is. But on the inside, he is stabbing each and everyone's eyes out.

Yunho:

He would be bopping his head inside the studio as he listens to Knock being played in the sound system with you. After announcing that you would be having a special stage, the producers of the show paired you with iKon's Junhoe and Jinhwan. He didn't like the rules that were placed on you, if only it was possible, he would volunteer to do the special stage with you. Only him.

"I'll leave my phone with you for awhile, gotta go to the bathroom first" You said, placing your phone in front of him as you suddenly rushed out of the studio and into the women's bathroom. While Yunho was left alone in the studio, your phone rang. Yunho, taking your phone in his hands, lowered the volume of the song and answered the call.

"Hello?"

"Hey Y/N! Wait...this isn't y/n..." It was Jinhwan's voice on the other line. Yunho grins, but kept the call on.

"Y/N went to the bathroom. Yunho speaking. Uh..is their something you wanted to tell her?"

"Oh hey Yunho, can you tell y/n that we're waiting for her? Tell her to drop by YG building so we can polish on the choreography."

"Will do!" And with that, Yunho ends the call just as you came back to the studio.

"Who was that?" You asked, sitting back in your swivel chair as Yunho placed your phone in front of you.

"It was Jinhwan, he says that your practice is cancelled."

Yeosang:

Yeosang was extra sarcastic and blunt the day he found out that the producers picked Knock and grouped you with iKon's Jinhwan and Junhoe for the special stage. In the eyes of others, they think Yeosang was just being himself but failed to realize how he does not like the special stage in general at all.

"Lift your leg up" Yeosang says, lifting your thigh by holding it and raising it up to his waist and then running his hand down as per the choreography. Twirling you around and then bending your upper body forward while he thrusts behind you.

San:

San smiled upon hearing the news of you being paired with SF9's Hwiyoung for a special stage in Kingdom, covering Troublemaker's Now. The song was already ringing numerous bells in his head but San kept his smile. But on the inside, he was ready to throw hands and be the only one who can lay hands on you.

And you can only imagine the anger and rage San felt towards the end of Now stage wherein you and Hwiyoung shared a steamy kiss. It did not only shock your members but shocked the rest of the participants at how bold you two have gone. And as all nine of you came back to your dorm, San wouldn't let you sleep the whole night after what he had just witnessed.

Mingi:

Mingi would be in awe at how you have a special stage. Cheering for you and raising his chair high in the air to show his full support. But that was when he didn't fully understood the given instructions to you. And when he finally understood it, he was not happy at all. Not happy at the fact that why did you have to be paired with a different member from a different group when he exists. Mingi would definitely not like the costumes being given to you as well, too short and too revealing.

"Tell me now, now now,

Now, now, now"

As the song reaches the end, Hwiyoung places an arm around your shoulder and you leaned in to place a kiss on his lips, a hand placed on his cheek. Everyone in their seats had their eyes wide open, shocked at what they are seeing. However, Mingi could only glare and wish that time would pass him by quick. Hating to be here already.

Wooyoung:

He doesn't know if he should relax or be stressed upon knowing that you'll be having a special stage. In the end, he made up his mind and became stressed at your special stage news. He accompanied you to JYP for your practice, and while he was waiting for a sexy song to be played on the sound system, he was not expecting that it was a duet stage between you and Stray Kids' Seungmin singing Dream by Baekhyun and Suzy. That whole night, he didn't listen to anything but you two singing that the song was now stuck on his head that he too kept singing it at the most random situations.

"Ah, I sing better. The special stage should have been given to me instead." He mumbles to himself, one night while laying down on his bed.

Jongho:

Jongho didn't like how you and Seungmin got close because of this special stage. In all honesty, he thought he suited best for this stage because his voice is more dreamy and soothing for the viewers. When you aren't practicing at JYP building, Jongho would be accompanying you and practicing with you until the wee hours of the night.

And during the actual stage, Jongho would be glaring at the two of you. Not liking that ChEmIsTRy as people say that was budding between the two of you. He could only roll his eyes and cross his arms over his chest.
