Another thing to do over the weekend - visit @imdasg's #SGMediaFest at Armenian Street. 28052021. Today wifey @ailing_wong and I decided to DIY for sushi roll and wrap for lunch as we are also quite tired of tabao-ing and have to pay for the rising delivery fee. Today we decided to DIY sushi rolls. We prepared the following ingredients; 1) Japanese sushi rice 2) Korean Seaweed 3) Japanese cucumber (sliced) 4) Steamed corn niblets 5) Teriyaki chicken chunks 6) Chilli Tuna flakes 7) Omelette sheet #angelinelimenxi , #adelinelimenqi and #arielinelimenning and #amberlinelimenting all had a chance to make their own sushi roll and the experience preparing their lunch. So this is what I do on lazy weekend mornings... . 1) I laze around... Weekends are created for procrastination and it's a place Time cannot touch; . 2) I don't bother getting dressed - it's my own pad and I make my own rules; . 3) I enjoy my coffee — I like it thick, long and black/Or sweet and creamy: . 4) Write a bit for my novels (it's a fantasy genre and they're gonna be better than Grossman and Rowling - but not Le Guin, cos she's the King); . 5) I speed read some books I'd picked up from the library (yes, I still go to the library whenever I can. It's my inner nerd thing. And together with home and gym, the Library is my happiest place in the world) ; . 6) Write some more; . 7) Allow myself to be distracted by Netflix; . 8) I dance like no one's watching - Believe me, I am my own Lip Sync Battle one-man-show performing to retro Michael JACKSON Youtube MTVs which I play on my HDTV. It's hilarious. It's stupid. And it burns calories like nothing else. But I love it. . 9) I slouch on my couch and birdwatch my backyard from my living room (I spend most of my time here) as I laze around some more. That canopy of green you see behind me? It's a fuck fest for mating green macaws, yellow sun birds and bluebirds. Yes, the crows come too, to claim the walnuts (I pick them out from my nut mix and put them there cos I hate walnuts) I leave out for them. . 10) Gym optional. But sometimes I run along the beach (I live next to East Coast beach); . 11) I cook. Either my competition meal preps for the week ahead. Or soups, which is my specialty. They are really stock. Bone broths. Pork bone soup. Chicken soup. Fish bone soup. Beef bone broth. Yup, I'm an expert in macrobiotic cooking - but you can never tell, can you? Haha. . 12) I see my clients. Tarot and Numerology, mostly. Fengshui too. Tryna to save the world, one confused soul at a time. . U notice I hardly mentioned anything about going out. Well, I actually don't. People think I'm a socialiser & extrovert. But I'm truly not. I'm a natural hermit and I'm happy doing things by myself. And weekends are perfect for perfect solitude. . So, what do u do on weekends? 14032021. To Welcome the school holidays, wifey and I decided to treat the girls to their favourite Japanese restaurant for lunch. Due to SMM by the restaurant, we had to split into 2 tables. Despite that, we are glad that all of them enjoyed themselves. After lunch we went for shopping and went to CPCM for a little while to look at the various claw machines before heading to Marina Square for dinner. When we arrived, we were greeted with the many colourful displays and decided to take a couple of shots for the girls before heading for dinner. After dinner, we explored around Marina Square and chanced upon a claw machine aracade just opp the popular HaiDiLao. The girls were attracted by the princess keychains so we spent abt $50 to capture 6 keychains. One for each one in the family. 06032021. Theow back to last weekend where we brought the family to enjoy some waffles and ice cream. We ordered two double scoop ice cream with waffles. Each of the girls ordered one scoop of ice cream of their choice. Glad that the family enjoyed themselves and indeed been a long time since we gathered for dessert.
