I feel like Jingliu in the android AU has like a virus on her code that puts her out of commission. Like how's she's Mara struck, she's seen as a very dangerous Android that is to be reported so that the government can decommission, AKA destroy, her for safety since the virus let her break out of her code and become sentient which led her to killing a lot of people out of self defense. She's definitely a military grade android so she is especially dangerous. But engineer/mechanic reader finds her buried in a junk yard (she was looking for parts and stuff) and took her back to her shop to repair her. It could be where jingliu is the first robot that ended up staying in her shop

It fits so well with her canon character too! I imagine that Android! Jingliu is a current unauthorized threat roaming the city and the police is working very hard on trying to track her down. Usually all Androids have a tracking device implemented in their systems so it’s easy to see where they’re going, but perhaps the virus corrupted the device/Jingliu went against her own code and ripped it out herself 😨

Now that there was a rogue, military-grade Android on the loose, it’s plastered all over the news and many Androids and their owners are forced to stay alert. Of course, with a stroke of unfortunate luck, the Engineer ends up encountering Android! Jingliu resting in some junkyard, and she would’ve been skewered to pieces if not for Jingliu currently recharging herself near an outlet…

Because she is held back by a dead battery, the Engineer is able to get closer to her and examine this rogue android herself without any dangers. Unable to resist her tinkering behaviors however, the Engineer can’t help herself from wanting to “fix” Jingliu, which causes her to wake up and see this odd little human trying to patch her up. Her corrupted code is telling her to kill on sight, but her body won’t move and instead; she just keeps watching the Engineer fix her with slow, unblinking eyes. Once she’s fully charged, she has the full capability of murdering the Engineer on sight, but for some reason chooses not to, simply getting up and following the Engineer once she tries to leave.

Congratulations, you’ve accidentally made the killer android like you 😅

But oh oh oh the emotional crescendo of this moment. This is his entire emotional arc since Acid Tokyo all coming out at once - Syaoran struggling with all the actions he (or his body) has committed and what that means for him. 

And I really want to just swim in this idea forever because since Acid Tokyo - Acid Tokyo - we’ve been told that yeah he’s dead his soul is gone don’t worry about it. It was only in Nihon that they finally let us see that this was wrong, that there was some of him in there still, but even then we only got the chance to see it once more before he died again.

BUT NOW we get it. After all this time and all that endless suffering we finally get a quiet moment for him to just exist as himself, without the Evil Wolverine programming, and just come to terms with everything he’s gone through. It’s a magical moment I didn’t think we’d ever get so I’m treasuring it greatly.

Me and the concept of drawing have been in a violent fistfight tht past couple of weeks so her sketch has been rotting in the folders for a while but‼️here she be‼️

once in a while i contemplate what was going to happen to evan, back in season 1 when he asked for the Procedure to Make Him Normal. because, like, we realized that that's a lie, right? we realized at the big reveal that there isn't anything that makes someone capable or incapable of magic; everyone on earth could do magic if they were aware of it and were taught how to do it. there wasn't a thing that could be taken out or a switch that could be flipped; everyone was magic all along, had been even before some british assholes built a secret society on it. evan was never going to stop being magic.

so, like, what was philtrum's plan. were they going to just wipe evan's memories and drop him back where he was before? would they try to erase all of evan's memories that involve magic, including all the scary demon shit that happened throughout his life? or would they just cut out his knowledge of gowpenny, and essentially rewind him to before he got that first owl? if he doesn't remember gowpenny, he's not gonna remember that he was supposed to have a procedure that fixed him anyway, so what does it matter?

i don't remember clearly, but i believe (?) the whole procedure thing was one of the ways philtrum was trying to get the whole pilot program declared a failure, so maybe wiping all their memories and sending them back without knowledge of gowpenny or magic or each other was always part of her plan. but even if they no longer remember what magic is, they will still have the potential of magic, and that could be an issue with evan, right? philtrum and co. don't know everything about evan's demon stuff, but she must've noticed from the beginning that something about evan isn't right. evan's familiar is his own shadow; in every conversation with him, evan has spoken of magic as something that he had a pre-existing relationship with (namely, a bad relationship where he is scared of magic because it has caused bad stuff to happen to him). for all the others, if gowpenny was removed from their lives, may never cast another spell again, but it's hard to be sure of that with evan; philtrum didn't know concrete details about the demons, but she also didn't know that sam managed to charm them into leaving. what happens if Bad Magic Shit happens to evan again, and something leads evan to remembering or finding out about gowpenny anyway? evan could be some kind of prophecied dark wizard, which probably isn't a foreign concept for a headmistress who runs a school where there is a whole house for kids who've been labeled evil; if they return him to america and he's left to his own devices, how can they be sure that he doesn't Cause Problems for wizard society later?

what i mean is. we already know philtrum's tried multiple times to get evan killed; we know she feels contempt for the pilot program and want to get rid of them and protect the status quo. and evan has no family to go back to; the only people who would care enough to miss him would have no way of knowing where he's gone and what's happened to him, and hopefully would not remember him once this whole ordeal was over.

she was probably going to kill him, right? like, why waste time performing complex magic brain surgery on this kid? she's got no issues with lying, manipulation, and child murder. if evan had ended up going to the nebulous Appointment, philtrum was probably going to straight up kill him, or at least try to. and for the first time in his life, the shadows and demons wouldn't be around to protect him.

i fucking hate mizole i HATE HIM HE'S THE WORST. i had a canvas open with several different full render full body drawings and i. made a few new layers so i could quickly doodle up a new discord pfp. of Mizole. and i merged the layers at the end to just copy paste it to a new canvas. and now it WON'T LET ME UNDO. all those other drawings are GONE NOW BECAUSE FIREALPACA DECIDED I NO LONGER HAVE UNDO RIGHTS (i should bc merging the layers is a one step process so wf???)
