First we have an unfinished Bad Wolf/Moment that I might go back to but also I really only wanted to do her hair cause it’s so wild and fun hehe

I hate that one sketch but the fit goes too hard not to do anything, I love drawing her in that stereotypical y2k aesthetic because that’s absolutely what she would be wearing you cannot convince me otherwise you can pry her baggy pants and going out tops out of my cold dead hands (more fits coming soon)

I LOVE BOOM TOWN ITS MY FAVE EPISODE OF ALL TIME AND HER FIT ROCKS SO HARD !! I asked my friend to make me the scarf and she said maybe so we hold out hopes that it’s a late birthday present hehehe

This doodle is also from like when I first started drawing Rose so her features aren’t quite right but I love her anyways

And as for my character her name is Arwyn, prewar lawyer and housewife thrust out 200 years later forced to adapt and become strong to find her missing son (as the game says) she’s not a veteran like her late husband so she is having a harder time than he would but she is still pushing. Nothing like a mothers love trope y’know

This was her at the start, still wearing thin framed glasses, and long inconvenient hair that gets in the way. She has jeans and boots over her vault suit, and a undershirt underneath I think it looks rlly cool and immersive because those suits by themselves look so uncomfy 😆

And this is how she’s looking right now mid story. She’s got thicker glasses with darker tint to protect from the sun, her hair has been shaved on either side and pulled back (it’s still long tho she hasn’t been able to let go of it quite yet) she’s found some improvised earrings to keep some sort of old time normalcy about her in the desolate wasteland. She’s also got some binoculars around her neck to spot things off in the distance easier (like enemies lol) she put her wedding right In a lock box at the ruins of her old house as a tribute to her husband (also so she doesn’t lose it, raiding thieves are no joke) after she defeated her husbands killer. Now she’s regathering her strength before she heads into even more perilous territory for info on how to find her son.

She’s become really snarky but her actions betray her words because she shows everyone a compassion and kindness to everyone that they aren’t used to in the dystopia they all live in. I just love her lots lol.

I feel like Lae’zel asking her lover to protect her is severely under talked about in the fandom

The strong githyanki warrior, who will never admit weakness, telling her partner that she wants to be protected. Her going from seeing them as weak and inferior to seeing them as someone who can provide her safety. Seeing them as someone she can be vulnerable and soft around. Someone she can trust to save her when she gets herself in trouble and that she can trust to watch over her when she sleeps.

And they’re probably the first person she’s ever felt this way around. All of her classmates could slit her throat at any sign of weakness, her teachers could beat her for the smallest mistake. But her partner? She can make mistakes around them. She can be vulnerable without fearing a dagger to the heart.

And no one ever talks about it. It’s so good, but it’s completely ignored.

this is probably one of my favorite outfits that i've ever put together! and it's all for one of my top five fav character designs, like... Ever!

rambles:

i would like to note that my dear beloved Jaime (@/awkwardalphajay here on our very own hellsite<3 check em out <3) helped out a Ton by sending inspiration photos and providing insightful commentary on details and vibes!

overall i wanted Sally to have fancy vibes! while i was originally going to have her fit very much based on her canon one, i wound up veering off course and - while still keeping some elements - mostly went for Medieval Entertainer and Her House insp! continuing with the day/night theme, and leaning heavily into the fire aspect - she's a literal star fallen to earth, after all!

it was suggested that she should have dragonscale used in the making of her clothes since she's, you know, kind of made of fire! and it was genius! I imagine she has extra fire charms on this fit and also the rest of her clothes, since dragonscale is hard to come by and is a finite resource once Gathered. she gets better at Not burning everything she wears over time, thankfully!

i think that, like Frank, she'd have One (1) Dagger. for emergencies! it's likely very ornate, and she'd hate to scuff up the gleaming blade. Probably. plus, why would she need it? she's got firepower, babey!

there isn't quite as much to say about this as usual... mostly because this one was more Vibes than strategic "ok this and this and this because this and also-" i was just! makin a fun outfit!
