Weekend workout..some exercises to help you work your abdominal muscles. Warm up by skipping for 5 mins and then do 3 rounds of 10-15 reps of each exercise before moving to the next. Rest for 1 min-that is 1 round. Thursday thoughts: I have been building up slowly to attempt a 10km jog (baring in mind I haven’t run properly for years) and this morning I managed it with intermittent walking! Part of my goal today was to monitor certain fitness devices but I am questioning which of these devices do I believe? 🤔 we all know no device is 💯 accurate but how can there be such a discrepancy ? The Treadmill says I burned a whopping 754 calories with my “myzone” HR monitor measuring 593 and my Garmin clocking in at 442..so which do I base my calorie expenditure on?.. these readings are all dependent on various factors such as weight, Body mass index and basal metabolic rate so it is important that I know all of these so I can accurately manage my calorie consumption for the day. But one thing now I need to do is ensure I get in enough calories so that I do not allow my hard earned muscle to atrophy due to this long cardio session.
