I LOVED the Roger Rabbit AU with Vil!!! You truly feed us too well…

But it made me come up with another interesting scenario. Paparazzi Darling!

Vil has a love/hate relationship with the media and celebrity photographers in general, but imagine his surprise when he sees his face on the front of some tabloid and the candid photo looks amazing?

Maybe it inflates his ego how effortlessly beautiful he looks through the lens of this particular photographer, but after scouring their work, he falls in love with the way they see him and how all the photos make him look stunning. Darling must be in love with him to have put so much effort into the photos, right?

So, maybe he starts taking his time walking to his car, being in more public places, just to try and catch a glimpse of this mysterious darling. Yes, he could find out who it is which his connections, but isn’t it more romantic and exciting this way?

At least, until he sees a picture of Neige with the same little initials in the bottom corner, equal care in this photo too. Panic sets in and the game is over. Vil has Darling’s name and number within the hour and has invited them in for a private photo shoot.

Pretty soon, he’s roped darling into an exclusive contract where they are only allowed to look at him through their lens.

Your mind is huge, anon. This isn’t much, I’m just low-key expanding on what you said. It’s not even expanding, its just adding more words.

Vil is probably one of those people that loathes the paparazzi most of the time at least. They're so persistent at times, they try to worm their way into his private life and attempt to take photos of him behind closed doors. Luckily, he has a good team assembled to keep the paparazzi at bay, but that doesn't stop the occasional stubborn ones from those lying tabloids focused on their own profit instead of telling the truth. However, there's one newspaper that always catches his attention, the photos of himself signed with the tiny initials of the photographer just below it. Photos from different angles, and always when he's in public. They somehow catch his best angles in each image, and they've never once shown an ugly side to him and never have invaded his privacy. 

At some point, he finds himself researching about them, and anticipating each time their works appear in new publications. He’s even gathered a whole cabinet of photos of himself, only photos that they take though. Although he would add more images of them too, if only he actually knew what they looked like... No matter how much he looked into it, he couldn’t find their information. Yet, this only served to intrigue him more. At some point throughout this entire ordeal, Vil has fooled himself into thinking that this mysterious photographer is not only a huge fan but a secret admirer.

I’ve been really into jewellery-making again lately, as well as crafting with wire, so I decided to wire-wrap some stones and use some of my cool beads! <|:-)

I made a button choker, mostly comprised of ceramic, wooden and a couple of plastic leaf buttons. 

I made two necklaces with wire-wrapped tiger’s eye pendants, with smaller tiger’s eye beads, wooden beads, brassy-coloured metal beads and some plastic, gem-like green beads. 

I also made a stromatolite necklace with wire coils and wooden beads, as well as a more simple snowflake obsidian necklace, with just some wire coils on the cord.

hi rentry comm -- im the person who mentioned archiving every single imvu button from the 2000s the other day!

i have over 3000 of them right now!

i have a few questions id love your guys' opinions on if you could help me out.

Are there any search terms/tags that you would like to be included? Im trying to keep things as simple as possible to keep my workload light, but if there are certain thematic elements that you all think are particularly repetitive, i can definitely try to add those.

2. Sensitive content: Some of the buttons I have archived have slightly inappropriate content or possibly triggering content. Ideally, I would prefer to just keep them with all the other buttons and have a warning up, but I'm most worried about the younger members in the community being uncomfortable with the more nsfw buttons. I don't even know if there is a person in the world interested in them, but I like to be thorough when I archive. Nonetheless, they exist, and I wanna know if a warning before you enter the page is enough?

3. Crediting: I currently have asked permission from a few button creators to include a sample of their buttons and a link back to their page as well. However, I'm unsure if I should include their buttons in the search results as well, as that makes it so people may be more careless and less likely to look for the credit of each button. Filename credits are also included (if any are found to be missing once the site is up, lmk).

4. Is there anything else I can reasonably do to make the site more accessible or just more helpful for you guys?

I plan to have a lot more pages eventually as I love archiving things and helping the community in general, but I think when I release it publically it'll just be IMVU buttons and IMVU badges.

This has already been hours upon hours of work scouring the internet archive, imvu itself, and even putting some money into it to get access to buttons that I couldn't find for free because I wanted to make this resource as thorough as possible.

Ahhhhhhh!!!! That Vil fic was sooo good! The desperation! The refusal to believe darling wouldn’t want to be with him! It’s soooo tragically good!

Vil is the Queen of delusional yanderes. Who else would gaslight themselves into thinking they were the problem, but still insist on being with darling? Love it!

Getting some real “I’m not bad, just drawn that way,” vibes from this. Once again, thank you for the meal. Vil now lives rent free in my head thanks to this.

Also, love the idea of darling somehow being forced to cooperate with Vil for a case, and Vil has this whole movie scenario of helping catch the villain and winning his darling over planned in his head. Like, we kiss in the final scene, right? So he helps, they win, and the next day, darling is just gone? Like, bye, this isn’t a movie, I have bills. I’m onto the next case.

LOL the last idea got me. I pictured it so vividly. Vil plotting the entire thing out, mc will be in trouble and he'll come in to rescue them and such. He'll get to kiss them, just like a scene in those movies he plays where the hero gets a kiss from the one they save. Maybe he does get a kiss, maybe he just gets a hug or a few kind words, and later-- poof. Mc is gone as soon as he turns around. Mc has to collect that paycheck from the now complete case and move on.
