It took around 378 eggs using the Masuda method in Ultra Sun (no shiny charm as well lol) but I finally got my shiny litwick! I named her Ingo bc hyperfixation go brrr

I thought you might appreciate an update though, so here’s a quick rundown of my most recent shiny wins! Above you’ll see shiny Ampharos, caught in an outbreak!

Weird short story about shiny hunting Litwick. I was doing the event-outbreaks, knocking out 60 of them before I made my sandwich as per usual but when I got to number 60 my Fletchinder refused to attack it… turns out shiny Litwick is more like regular Litwick than I thought.

I caught the shiny and decided to go look at the rest of them to see if I could actually recognize the difference but the second one I saw looked identical to the one I just caught…

(I also caught a regular one for comparison...)

Then about 6 or so minutes later this showed up...

At this point I figured why make a sandwich at all... I'm just gonna reset this outbreak till I get a third litwick so I can collect the whole family.

Who needs sparkling power after all...

All I need now is a dusk stone... I was half wondering if I would get a fifth shiny in Area Zero before finding one...

I did not. Did find a shiny stone however... useful if I want another Florges I suppose.

The gang has been nicknamed: Advent the Litwick (male) Hikari the Lampent (female) Noelle the Chandelure (female) Belle the Bellsprout (female)

They're not entirely full odds I'll admit since I do have a shiny charm... but still 4 random shinies within this short a time span is still insane.
