Having a Pokemon daemon is so stupid because what do you mean I can use the AR thing on Pokemon GO to spawn a cool reference of him in... But he's clearly way too tall for my house.

I was like "potentially good projection reference?" so I tried it and oh my god that thing is hitting it's head on my roof. And honestly my house wouldn't contain a reshiram anyway so this isn't even tall enough.

I'm literally so glad Shiro changes his size when projecting or my brain would hate having to figure out how the hell he fits anywhere.

So I've learned to only ever try the AR feature outside from now on!

TORRANCE, Calif., — May 30, 2024 — Marvelous USA, Inc. and XSEED Games today shared a localized version of parent company Marvelous Inc.’s second annual ‘Marvelous Game Showcase,’ which debuted today at 3:00pm PT. President Suminobu Sato hosted the showcase and was joined by key members of development teams to provide updates on titles announced in last year's event, and announce new regional and global initiatives for the Marvelous family of companies.

Farmagia (formerly Project Magia): Product Manager Takehiro Ishida revealed the official title of the project, Farmagia, and presented the game’s opening animation, giving gamers an action-packed look at the cast of characters and powers they wield. Ishida-san also shared details on key characters in the game, designed by popular artist Hiro Mashima, including Ten, the protagonist who often acts before thinking; Arche, his childhood friend who balances both kindness and a competitive nature; Chica, another childhood friend with a more reserved demeanor; and Lookie-Loo, Ten’s sidekick and de-facto mascot. The title is planned for a global release in 2024.

STORY OF SEASONS: The next, as-yet-untitled entry in the beloved franchise continues its development as the team focuses on improvements to the visual presentation and natural environments. Series Manager Hikaru Nakano joined to debut a fresh look at the results of their efforts, highlighting how aspects such as updated natural lighting and festival fireworks have been improved to enhance immersion and atmosphere. The project remains in active development and will be fully revealed at a later date. In the meantime, Nakano-san confirmed new gameplay features including a player-controlled glider and the return of fan-favorite pets.

Amusement Section: Marvelous Inc. supports more than just PC and console entertainment and announced a number of new arcade initiatives including NARUTO: Arcade Battle, which will be available in North America this summer. Players will experience the world of NARUTO on a massive 50” screen, where they’ll engage in intense ninjutsu battles and collect plates to reach the highest rank they can! Arcade titles for Japan release only were also presented.

Indie Partner Lineup: The Marvelous family continues to invest in helping creative and exciting visions from smaller indie developers become a reality with global support for titles! Titles introduced for worldwide release include Bitsummit 2023 Grand Prize winner Death the Guitar, where players become an electric guitar fighting with the power of death metal to avenge their owner, planned for a 2025 release; and Moonlight Peaks, the supernatural-themed vampire farming/life sim title from Dutch developer Little Chicken, scheduled for 2026 release. One additional title, Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus, was also presented for release in Asia and Japan by Marvelous on July 28, 2024.

Rune Factory: Following a brief history on the evolution of the Rune Factory series and how it has grown across nine titles released over 18 years, Rune Factory series Director Shiro Maekawa joined the stream to reveal a new video for Rune Factory: PROJECT DRAGON sharing a look at the title’s protagonists. Players can choose to play as either Subaru or Kaguya, two new Earthmates with a twist; they will use the power of dance, rather than farming, to communicate and interact with the world around them. This new approach to interacting with the world comes with non-combat tools, including parasols and drums; series staple weapons like swords; and brand-new weapon types to experiment with, including bows and talismans.

DAEMON X MACHINA: Titanic Scion: First revealed during last year’s Marvelous Game Showcase, DAEMON X MACHINA: Titanic Scion once again closed out the show, where President Sato-san shared an evocative look at Marvelous’ First Studio’s mech-action sequel.  Additional details including platforms and a release window will be announced at a later date.

When he leans in to make his proposition, the man's breath stills, as if surprise, Shiro wonders, sardonic, as he murmurs into his ear, if he might do the same in similar, yet polar different circumstances. He doesn't have a read on this man yet, but give him a bit longer—the length of a fight, perhaps. Does he like his lovers soft spoken? Women, he thinks, would shy away from him, out of embarrassment—he's attractive in a sort of intimidating way; Shiro would have been tongue-tied by him, once. As it is, he's a puzzle—and Shiro wants to dig the answer out of him. Idly swaying his glass, the ice tinkling barely-audibly, he watches the man step forward as the second round is announced—peel off his jacket, his clothes. A fit figure—Shiro hasn't been in bed with a man his own age in a while. Out of his upper garments, his torso bare, the awkwardness fades away—he may be no boxer, but he has training. Shiro may lose his bet yet. The thought is as thrilling as the creamy first drag of nicotine.

what color reminds your muse of mine? Orange because of the sky flames. Sky blue, because Tsuna radiates calm. Tsuna is one of the only people that Chrome feels comfortable within this world. It is probably one of the reasons why Mukuro does not antagonize her as often.

what song reminds your muse of mine? feel the wind-janne da arc English lyrics are here. It's cheerful sounding, but the lyrics are sad and about heartbreak. Though, I think Chrome feels it could also be mourning for the self in the past.

what scent reminds your muse of mine?  Airy, light floral or fruit scents. Something that can catch on the wind. "When active in the mafia, it is usually better to not wear perfume or cologne. The less evidence they find at the crime scene the better."

what meme reminds your muse of mine?  She can't help but think of the Chad vs. Virgin memes for Tsuna. Chad is the future Tsuna and the non-chad is the fourteen-year-old Tsuna. Mukuro is probably snickering at the mental image in the background because he can read her mind.

what sound reminds your muse of mine? The soft breeze of spring or autumn. It really relaxes Chrome.

what setting reminds your muse of mine?  Anywhere with an open sky, but she is sure they would have fun shopping in Europe.

what fashion style reminds your muse of mine?  Tsuna looks like she came out of Fashion Week nowadays, so it is hard to tell. When they were in school, probably Shiro gyaru (gyaru without the tan) and Hime gyaru (the hairstyle I think). Tsuna graduated to Mode or Mohdo, which is haute couture/high fashion in Japan.

what feeling does your muse associate with mine? A feeling of refuge from the world. Tsuna's mother, Nana, truly radiates this feeling the most. I want to say Chrome is essentially like Elena whom Daemon Spade adored, and Giotto protected. Tsuna housed Chrome when Kokuyo Gang left Chrome for her chance at toughening up. Chrome is very thankful for that time, and brushed up on more cooking skills.

what animal does your muse associate with mine? Chrome thinks Tsuna is like a lion and a lamb. "There is a saying in the West that "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb"." She feels it goes with the duality of Tsuna.

what holiday does your muse associate with mine? Like Haru, she can see Tsuna enjoying Golden Week and viewing the cherry blossoms. Another holiday is Shogatsu, New Year's. I just think it would be fun for Tsuna to show off wearing a furisode while going to pray at the shrine for Hatsumode.

what season does your muse associate with mine? Spring and fall/autumn. The sky is clear during the day but there are some clouds at night.

A possessed Black Legionnaire, name variable, transforms into a big Borzoi with goat horns whenever he is feeling henpecked.

Due to a history of poor behavior towards his wives and children he is under house arrest and can only leave his apartment under supervision.

His favorite person is his first wife, a retired Imperial Fist named Clothilde. He will howl and paw at the door until they come back home and take him for walkies.

Clothilde brushes his fur during strategy meetings and uses it to make felted mini borzois.

He lets his wife ride on his back but only if they're not wearing power armor.

Clothilde will go wading in rivers with him and then, when they cross the other side, get soaked when he shakes off his fur.

Like a real Borzoi, he is content to be a couch potato, flopping and letting his wife lay in his floof while the two of them watch Magnificent Millennium.

He has a habit of impulsively chasing things he deems prey.

Clothilde feeds him pieces of dried moon bull penis as a reward for good behavior. It's a perfectly good snack. The wife will also eat bully sticks.

Sometimes he breaks apart into several smaller dog daemons resembling the shiros from Land of the Lustrous. Clothilde can hold them like stuffed animals, and the puppies are quite fond of their favorite person, but they are liable to jump inside and make the wife catch a glimpse of The Horrors.

Clothilde crochets socks for his horns with pom poms at the ends, so he can't poke people any more.

Put saddlebags on him and his children can ride along like lambs on a donkey.

He gets supervised visits with his youngest daughter, Anur, who loves the big doggy and howls along with him.

His older children edit footage of him into a montage with a song equivalent to "Cellophane" by FKA Twigs and laugh.

Actually the song conveys his feelings towards his wife. He doesn't want to lose them but his way of "helping" them over the years has caused terrible hurt.

Having a daemon is still going good. Shiro has been projecting to the best of our collective ability while I'm in front. We can only get presence and vague internal visualisation but it's all we need. It's definitely funny when some object or thing moves into where he's standing, though. Like oops, turned noclip on again. Sorry!

Shinji had always found human’s Daemon’s fascinating. In the Soul Society, they did not have Daemons. No one ever seemed to be missing any part of them, those chosen heard the voice of their Zanpakuto and they entered the academy for training.

Shinji dug into the legends and facts that surrounded Daemon’s when he and the other Visored’s first entered the human world to hide and get some sort of control over their hollow sides. They had gotten odd looks and concerning questions when they first re-entered the human world in their Gigai’s when the humans had noticed they were lacking an animal companion.

Over time they answered on instinct whenever they ventured out that their Daemons were shy. Most of the Visored’s didn’t look into Daemon’s once they managed to get a hold on how to brush off concerned human looks and questions. Shinji, on the other hand, wanted to know more. He wanted to touch and he wanted to understand.

Shinji understood that Daemons were the human version of Zanpakuto’s in a way; they were extensions of their very beings and represented how they were at their very core. Shinji also learned that Daemon’s loathed touches from anyone expect their human and those their human had extremely strong feelings for.

Shinji understood and as the years passed he pushed back his curiosity about Daemon’s as his hollow side grew harder and harder to control. Then Urahara Kisuke called him about a new Visored, a young half shinigami named Kurosaki Ichigo.

Ichigo had been with them for a solid week now, gaining footing with his Hollow side and all was going to plan. Something, however, was itching at Shinji; he knew the half Shinigami was just that, half. In theory, then he should have a Daemon, a Daemon that he or one of the others should have seen by now.

Shinji was lounging on a couch, trying to read with all the explosions and screaming matches between Ichigo and Hiyori that were becoming commonplace. Ichigo was blabbering on about how he didn’t need to beat his hollow into submission, how they were friends of all things. Shinji snorted at the very thought and flipped to the next page of his book, that was impossible and trust him he had tried for centuries and nearly died a few times before he gave up on that line of thought.

Shinji let out a loud ‘oof’ when something heavy dropped down onto his stomach. Shinji froze, his eyes widening when they landed on his stomach. A white-furred wolf was yawning from where it had settled its head on the Vizored’s stomach, Shinji almost dropped his book on the wolf’s head in his shock that only increased when bright hollow eyes stared up at him.

“Uh, what the hell?” Shinji said slowly, holding his book above his head and staying completely still. He wasn’t about to risk moving and pissing off this wolf hollow thing that was using his stomach as a pillow. The wolf yawned again, showcasing sharp fangs before it nuzzled Shinji’s stomach and its hollow eyes closed as it decided to take a nap.

“Fucking hell,” Shinji whispered as he let his book land on his head, arms’ going weak as he stared at the wolf hollow that was now softly purring on his stomach.

“Oh good, you found him,” Ichigo’s voice was nothing more than a whisper as he entered the room, looking relieved at the sight of Shinji frozen like an idiot on the couch with his book on his head and arms still over his head.

“Him?” Shinji’s voice cracked as Ichigo knelt next to the couch, a soft smile appearing on his usually stern face as he brushed his fingers through the wolf hollow’s fur.

“Yeah Kuro, he’s my Daemon,” Ichigo said simply as he sat on the floor and rested his cheek against the stark white fur and let out a noise similar to the one the fucking Daemon had been making.

“Yer Daemon?” Shock spread over Shinji’s face as he studied the Daemon closer now and his mind spinning at the fact that Ichigo’s Daemon, the kid’s damn soul was cuddled on him like he was a giant pillow and Ichigo didn’t seem concerned about it in the least. He didn’t seem to care that this touch was going against everything Shinji had learnt about Daemon’s, but that just seemed to be Ichigo’s M.O as of late.

“Kuro, he’s an Arctic wolf. He used to be black when I was a kid but he changed to white when I guess Shiro showed up the first time.” Ichigo kept his voice low as he kept petting his Daemon, looking content, as he stayed curled up to both Shinji and Kuro.

“Shiro? That yer hollow then?” Shinji was slowly starting to understand why Ichigo was always yelling about how he and his hollow had an understanding.

“Yeah, we fought a lot at first but Kuro smoothed things out as the way Daemons tend to do. I mean he still yammers on about fighting and becoming more powerful but that just seems to be who he is so it’s more annoying than anything else.” Ichigo sounded amused as he spoke before his eyes landed on the way Shinji’s arms were still being held above his head.

“You can relax, Kuro won’t bite you. Hiyori maybe if she does another sneak attack but not you.” Ichigo murmured, hiding pink cheeks in Kuro’s fur. Kuro huffed and peered at Ichigo with one hollow yellow eye before it rolled and the Daemon settled back against Shinji with ease.

Shinji swallowed and carefully lowered his arms, tenderly setting his hand on the Daemon’s head and shuddered as a bolt of something washed over him. He noticed the shudder that seemed to echo through Ichigo and Shinji carefully and lightly became to pet Kuro’s head, the Daemon’s ears twitching and flicking as the wolf purred in happiness.

“Shinigami’s and Visored’s don’t have Daemons but I have done my research into them,” Shinji said slowly and watched even the tips of Ichigo’s ears turned red.

“I know what Kuro seeking you out and using you as a pillow means Shinji, I’m not stupid.” Ichigo lifted his flushed face out of Kuro’s fur to send him an unimpressed look.

“Just making sure,” Shinji teased with a genuine smile as his heartbeat loud in his ears and risked holding a hand out to Ichigo. His smile grew when Ichigo took ahold of his hand, lacing their fingers together getting a small smile from the young man.

Kuro smiled lazily as his tail swayed side-to-side Ichigo and Shinji began to talk to each other with excitement in their eyes and the Daemon settled in to watch their relationship blossom. Ichigo was dense when it came to feelings so Kuro had done the next best thing and acted in a way that even Ichigo would understand. Kuro licked his fangs very pleased with himself as the two conversed and shifted into something new that the Daemon approved of. His mission complete for the time being, Kuro closed his eyes and decided to take a well-deserved nap.
