Hello everyone!! My name is Solaris or Sol for short and I am new to Shifting Tumblr. I am currently 21 and majoring in graphic design at my university! H2O DR : This one is pretty self explanatory LOL. WolfBlood has always been my comfort show on Disney when it first launched in 2012 and I've always wanted to be a werewolf who lives among humans and I just think this one would be so fun (except for Shannon trying to find out what the 'beast on the moors' is, seems nagging. I've redone my script 20 times for this one so bare with me as I sort out the details </3. ♡ 5. Better CR DR : This one is also self explanatory, I just feel like a better CR is definitely what I want AND need. Better friend group, going out and having fun, going on adventures, having money, having good grades alll the time, having talents like singing and/or drawing etc; and marrying who your dream person is. I initially painted this in june-ish 2023 (actually from november 2022 to june 2023 lmao) for the @dear-dio zine, that has unfortunately since been canceled (much love goes to the organisers and everyone who participated, it was a joy and i wish everyone great things to come <3)

So I figured I could finally post this without spoiling the zine lmao. It took me more than 47 hours (maybe more?? I lost count), but I really love it even a year later.

I saw your recent post about AI and I have a quick question! I sometimes use chatgpt for quick little fics about some of the more niche fandoms I’m in that I can’t find fics for. I never post them anywhere or take credit for the work and just use it for my own entertainment. Is that still bad to do? I don’t want to steal anything from anyone. I just like reading fics sometimes for my current hyperfixations

What you’re doing isn’t…wrong, necessarily, but you are actively giving ChatGPT the content it needs to better emulate the writing style of real, living people that are writers as a passion or a job. If you ask it to write a fanfiction about The Hunger Games, for example, the AI has to analyze what a “Hunger Games fanfiction” is for context, and will likely seek the information from fanfiction websites and writers.

I personally do think that what you’re doing isn’t great, but I’m also not the boss of you. I’m honestly a little surprised you asked, because…What answer did you expect? I think the post I reblogged, although it was about art, not fanfiction, told you my stance. I don’t want to be rude and I don’t think you meant harm by asking, but you are looking for validation in the wrong place — The writers who hate AI aren’t going to tell you this is okay.

You probably know the drill by now, but here I am, presenting you with another song commentary/analysis to celebrate the day. Since the prompt is Mistletoe and I really couldn't come up with anything super creative, and I can't draw to save my life (shoutout to those who have been blessed with talent in the fanart department) today's song commentary/analysis will be Wallflower, as Mistletoe is a plant, and thus reminded me of the song, which also has a reference to a plant.

Okay, now that I'm done explaining my reasoning for picking the song, let's get into it.

Cairo says she stepped in to save the other kids from teasing Riley, but Riley just sang about how Cairo mouthed off and got into fights, not even if she helped Cairo at all.

•I wonder if that's really subtle foreshadowing now that I think about it.
