Hello! I don't know if you write for the more obscure characters in Botw/Totk but I figured I'd ask just in case ☺️ Could you please write something about Tauro, Purah, Sidon and Zelda dating a Sheikah s/o who's chronically ill/disabled? It'd be great if you could make them specifically have weak bones and be really short too, and they're often upset how people keep babying them because they might fracture or break something. But if you want to keep it more open-ended that's fine too!
Thank you so so much, you're probably my favorite Zelda blog on Tumblr! Your writing and ideas are always like *chefs kiss* 😘! Have a good day and drink lots of water!
Whenever people tell me I'm their favorite anything it literally shocks me because there are SO many fantastic zelda fic blogs on here that I feel are vastly superior - but I thank you nonetheless! 🥰
I'll write for pretty much any character - I just keep romance and nsfw content for adults. So I'd be happy to!
Tauro, as well-mannered and good-natured he is, is amongst the mass where he needs to be reminded that while you are disabled, you aren't incapable of doing normal things. He tries his best to remember that, but his rambunctious and steadfast nature leads him to be righteous and helpful, even when it's not needed. Plus given his height, he always just assumes that people tend to need help to reach things in tall places if he's ever around. He does try his best to be sensitive to your needs and wants, however, tapping his hand to his chest when he catches himself doing too much. Instead, he makes an effort to remind himself to wait for you to ask him should you need anything. Very affectionate, otherwise - he enjoys making you smile and wrapping his big ol' bear arms around you (albeit, he's careful not to actually squeeze you too hard because he does NOT know his own strength) and is very attentive on the days that you specifically don't feel well and your body leaves you in a weaker state than normal.
Purah, being the research fanatic and accomplished scientist that she is, is already aware and well read on your illness. That, however, has never stopped her from being absolutely smitten with you. Where she is boisterous and outlandish, there is a careful resilience to you that she keeps close to her heart. She sees your frustration often with the townsfolk who treat you with unnecessary delicacy, and while she understands the "good-intent", she feels as you do: chronic illness should not beget differential treatment. When you express your frustrations, she's an open ear always. Purah is never one to explain why the people of your community act this way that leans in their favor, but rather why their attitudes should not portray you under a fragile light when you are anything but. She empathizes with you greatly, knowing exactly what it's like for your own people to treat you like you're something you're not (her experiences with de-aging left quite the mark), but she assures you that you've always got her on your side.
“I’ve never much like everyone else…and neither have you,” Purah muses, tapping her recorder in her hand. She lifts her glasses, her crimson eyes blazing in your direction with admiration and sincerity, “I guess that makes us a cut above the rest, now doesn’t it?”
Sidon is about as bubbly with you as you can imagine. That sharp smile completely alight when you're with him. His height difference compared to yours doesn't bother him considering he towers greatly over just about everyone he meets, so as long as you don’t care (which he secretly hopes you don’t!) then all is well. When he learns about your chronic illness, he’s at first admittedly worried, but he sees how much you value your independence and doesn’t push you to do less than anything you’re up for. Sidon, having learned his healing capabilities from Mipha, will actually offer to “bathe” with you whenever you’re not feeling especially strong, letting the softness of his magically imbued water immerse your body and take any pain or pressure off of your form for a while and bring you some ease. You don’t take him up on it often, half because you don’t feel it’s always necessary, and half because you don’t want to impose - though of course Sidon would refute you ever being an imposition upon him. He chooses his words very carefully, making sure to give you the impression that he’s willing to do whatever you need should you need something from him, but without overstepping and making you feel incapable.
“You’ll never be without, my darling,” Sidon whispers, taking your hand, those slit-pupiled eyes softening as he brushes back a lock of your silver-white hair, “But I will never claim to know you better than yourself.”
Zelda has always been a ball of curiosity, that’s one of the things you love about her. She has an awfully curious mind, so when you explain to her about your chronic illness for the first time, she of course asks you a lot of questions. You laugh thinking about back then, how she felt terrible for borderline prying into your life though she wanted to know everything about you at that time. You remember assuring her that it was fine, and it made you incredibly grateful that Impa had introduced you before she stepped down - it allowed you two to get close. The times that you’ve gone to town together, Zelda takes notice of how people tend to treat you akin to porcelain: delicate, fragile, some even giving off the impression that you’re a lost cause because of your Sheikah heritage. Combined with your stature (with Zelda herself being on the shorter side of an average Hylian’s height), it’s enough to infuriate you both. You two tend to bounce off of one another: shes sticks up for you when you feel like someone’s unnecessarily babying you, and you put your two cents in whenever someone is overly cautious and hovering due to her status, even after proving herself beyond capable. Ultimately she too understands your plight of people looking at you differently because of who are you or what they know about you. She recants the days when her father treated her as helpless and small, hyper focused on keeping her in line rather than letting her be her own person. She takes your hand, intertwining fingers with yours and lending you a genuine smile.
“But we are not weak. We are not frail or easily broken. I am not defined entirely by my title,” Zelda kisses the top of your hand before gently covering it with her other in an endearing move, “And you are not defined by your illness.”

(Forward real quick into Chain era Hyrule)
Sage keeps calling Sweetpea 'Fugus' because he's like a 'goddess damn mushroom that wont die'. Sweetpea is all "That's the nicest thing you've ever said about me! I love you too!"
(And to be perfectly honest, the whole Sage is approachable thing is kinda his own fault since Sweetpea loves kids and they sometimes get Sage and Sweetpea confused and Sage just goes with it. Cause ya know, they're kids. Aaliyah is giving him so much shit and Tia's just happy he's talking to someone.)
Sweetpea is the only version of that Link that isn't attracted to Aaliyah and the Triplets are like "You have terrible taste." (Instead he has a thing going on with Sidon and Yona. Sage doesn't want to know the details and if Sweetpea keeps telling him said details, Tia is about to be down a family member. Sweetpea realises his other counterparts don't have the same tastes as him and promptly chooses Chaos :D )
He thinks the way Wild and Cal are immediately gone on Aaliyah is hysterical but also is like lowkey running an intervention that's 68% effective so they don't have two dead bodies on their hands.
Of course when he spots a chain member flirting with his princess, Sweetpea is like "The Fuck you are :)" and is setting the Wolves on them while he distracts Tia.
(I feel like one of the older Chain is the way to go. Either Warriors, Twilight or First if we include him. Cause the idea of one of them being harassed by the Menaces all while Tia is mostly oblivious is funny. He can hold his own but he might need back up. Thank gods Wild is helping, even if its for his own benefit.)
Sage calling Sweetpea Fungus (I assume that's what you meant?) and Sweetpea just being like '<3 I knew you'd soften eventually brother!' and Sage is setting him on fire is so funny to me like-
Sweetpea is the brother that's all 'Friends! Love! Flowers!' and Sage is the one that barks.
(Okay, but like Sage is good with kids. He just doesn't have the patience for the adults that come with them. They all love the twins but the adults are like..."are you sure?' It's both heartwarming and the funniest thing ever. Bc on one hand, this man has literally slaughtered monster camps single-handedly. On another, he lets the village children braid his hair, flowers and all.)
(Sweetpea is counting down the days until he can call himself an uncle, man. Whether it's Tia finally finding someone or Aaliyah deciding its time to settle down. Bc he is going for the title of best uncle ever. It will be his.)
Sweetpea is the only one seeing Aaliyah for who she really is lmao. The triplets calling his taste terrible is actually so hilarious. Like they're just drooling over her while she chops logs and Sweetpea is gagging in the corner. He's seen her eat dirt before. He knows what she's like. ALSO Sweetpea being an oversharer when it comes to Sidon and Yona is so funny. Sage has no patience for it, but he's secretly the softest brother to sweetpea, so he 'listens'. But if he has to hear one more bit about Zora anatomy he's blowing up the place.
Sweetpea is the most annoying big brother when it comes to Aaliyah. Those two are throwing down every chance they get.
He's running distractions and lowkey foiling all of Sage's murders attempts. Wild and Cal owe him such a big thank you. And they don't even know it.
Imagine him spotting it and he just nudges the two feral beasts like 'Hey, someone is hitting on big sister-' and watches as they go absolute feral beast. like just D:< biting and tackling.
(Okay hear me out. All of them. So now it's three on three. Wars vs. Sweetpea, knight v knight. Twilight vs. Sage. Successor V Predecessor. First vs Aaliyah. The most composed knight in the timeline yet v an undead feral creature who was never meant to play a big of a part as she does who now has this super powerful rock on her side. Sweetpea may just look past Wild's obvious attempt on getting close to his SIL for the extra help.)

hi, yesterday i stumbled across the knights self-destruction and got so hooked i stayed up until it was three in the morning and my head hurt and i physically couldnt keep reading, and now ive caught all the way up. i am so obsessed with everything, im always a slut for angst and thats what i initially clicked for but my GOSH i am so digging the relationships between zelda and link and sidon and yona and yona and link especially. i am so so so overjoyed to see link and zeldas relationship portrayed in such a queerplatonic-feeling way, being in a qpr myself. this fic may have had a hand in making me realize me being some flavor of poly so thanks for that. i adore the zora worldbuilding youve done with the distinction between heart and treasure and how both of these are so deeply committed and emotional ways of feeling towards one another. and GOSH the angsty scenes were delicious. yona is a riot, and i am so in love with her portrayal. much like link i fucking need zelda to see this.
and just when i thought more bliss wasnt possible i find your blog and see your wonderful art of this story.
also the scene with link breaking down in yonas arms and him wresting with the gang have my heart even though my all time favorite is the sages reactions to links breakdown and his reaction to them seeing him. also link telling zelda about what clouds feel like. god im just HGN. i am never getting my brain back to normal from this. have a nice day.
I MEANT TO RESPOND TO THIS AGES AGO BUT GOT BUSY. SO SORRY BOUT THAT!
First of all, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! This made me very happy to read <3
I too am a slut for angst. I love to be hurt, but also need me that comfort. Which is why you all can take the solace in the fact that no story of mine will have an unhappy ending. SAD ENDINGS ARE FINE, I JUST CAN’T DO IT. I am not strong enough. I inflict much hurt but in the end it will be taken care of.
I’m glad the QPR vibes came across how I wanted them too!! I’ve always viewed/treated qpr’s with the same importance as romantic relationships bc they are!! So each pairing is as committed to one another as they would be to a romantic partner. It’s just how they express that love and some of the vibes are different. Another thing I’m so happy about is that you totally get where my brain was coming from with the ‘some flavor of poly’ bc in a way that’s exactly what’s happening. Like I said, qpr’s are just as valid and important as a romantic relationship, so there are some poly negotiations that goes down with all that. Making sure everyone is on the same page, comfortable, and agreeing.
It’s a bit hilarious how obsessed I’ve become with Yona. Nintendo barely gave us anything for this woman so I decided to run wild. Now I am completely insane with the amount of love I have for her, and it literally all stems from the fact I’ve turned her into my own character with all the random hc i threw on her at this point lmao. And I too need Zelda and Yona to meet.
And thank you so much for stopping by my blog to say hi and compliment my writing/art! It’s rlly made me smile. (And don’t worry, my brain is never returning to normalcy after this lmao, TOTK fan fiction/art has changed me as a person)
Here’s a lil doodle for you to show my appreciation (and a sorry for taking so long to respond fdhfhf, i know you probably don’t care, but I do)
<3<3<3<3 HOPE YOU HAVE A LOVELY DAY OR NIGHT!!! <3<3<3<3

A Messy Love Through the Ages - A SidLink AOC fic (Chapter One)
Well. Turns out you have to be invited to AO3. So I guess this is going up on Tumblr until I get my invitation. What a way to come out of fanfiction writer retirement.
Bit of warning; I have yet to play Age of Calamity yet. I traded in two of my unwanted games and had just enough to get a copy of the game, but it sits on my shelf waiting. Calling to me.
However, this RP was done with someone who has played Age of Calamity in all of its entirety; @wilclhero and I have our second RP that I’ve decided to flesh out because there are few AOC SidLink fics out there. So thank you @wilclhero for your permission and so many great ideas when developing this with me. :)
And I also sat through the 2-ish hours of cutscenes strung together on YouTube to make a film. So like…it’s fanfiction. No one is expecting 100% accuracy. And since this game throws out any time things that make sense in regards to the timeline in Breath of the Wild, I can do it too. Because Jeremy Bearimy said I could.
Chapter 1
It had been a long and treacherous battle. Mipha had been holding off Ganon’s Water Blight for as long as she could, but she had exhausted most of her powers. And as the monstrous beast loomed overhead she had thought for a moment this was the end.
But she would live to see another day. For out of nowhere a trident shot catapulted through the air, destroying what she had been expecting as the final blow that would end her life. And as she looked up at the Zora in front of her she gasped. His deep red scales that matched her own, that charisma in his grin, only a twinkle in his youth, fully realized from the shy boy she had known in this timeline. That voice calling out towards the scourge. “I will not let you take her again!”
“Sidon?”
And just in time too. Joining her side was the courageous hero, Champion Link of the Hylians. And just like that, the tides turned, and Ganon’s Blight was defeated. From the jaws of defeat, they emerged victorious.
But Link’s footsteps were heavy as he, Mipha, and Prince Sidon emerged from Vah Ruta. His mind was still spinning, utterly exhausted from the hours of nonstop battle leading up to this moment. Things had moved so quickly he barely had time to reflect; the Calamity was here, King Rhoam of Hyrule was dead, and he had only barely managed to drag his screaming daughter, Princess Zelda, from Calamity Ganon’s clutches.
It had been King Rhoam’s command. But he didn’t feel any less a coward as he pulled her away to safety instead of aiding him. Sure, he was Zelda’s personal knight, but this was the ruler of his Kingdom. What hero was he to leave the king for dead? And after all of their preparations, things seemed so hopeless. All of the other Champions were still trapped inside their assigned Divine Beasts.
All of their hard work, those sleepless nights, hours training and hardening themselves for battle…all for nothing. In that moment, even the Hero felt doubtful.
Hyrule was going to fall. And it would be all his fault.
His gaze ended up locked on the tall figure in front of him. This wasn’t the little prince he knew. The Sidon he, only knee-high to a grasshopper, was always so shy and so quiet. Where had this prince come from?
And why had he saved them—saved Link? No one had ever saved the Hero before. He was always the one doing the rescuing. He was supposed to risk his life for royalty, not the other way around.
What was this feeling?
As he trailed behind the siblings he slouched. He couldn’t remember a moment in his life he had felt so tired and hopeless. But there was still so much to do. Three more Divine Beasts. The Yiga Clan. Ganon.
“I…I can’t keep going…” he whispered, though apparently loud enough, as the siblings stopped in their tracks to face him. He was going to die, he knew it. He couldn’t protect everyone, and Ganon was going to win because of it.
Mipha approached Link, searching for the calming words that could pull Link from the depths of his hopelessness. Something to give him home. But she was still searching, mind still reeling from the recent events, pulling herself from despair and her resignation that she was going to die.
It was Sidon who spoke first and broke the silence. Sidon approached them both, crouched down to their level—when had the two of them gotten so small? He towered over the two of them. He took Link’s hands in his, a sun-kissed tan swallowed in a sea of red scales. Had things always been this small?
Sidon didn’t know the reason for what he said next. He remembered looking up to Link, literally and figuratively, but it hadn’t ever gone past gazing up to his elders and seeing greatness. And perhaps the tiniest boyhood crush. But he wouldn’t let the other know that. In that moment there was something else…he couldn’t put his fin on it.
He squeezed Link’s hands ever so slightly, the other looking him straight on before he spoke. “You can do it. I believe in you.”
Mipha nodded in encouragement. “That’s right. You can do it. I know it seems like all hope is lost, but we must believe. We survived this. Who isn’t to say we’ll survive even more?”
Link looked wide-eyed to Sidon and Mipha. He was already so spent; what if the other Champions were already dead? But…but he knew that he had to try. He had people believing in him.
With a nod, they set off. One down. Three more to go.
---
It was hours before they were able to meet up again. But by the Goddess, that small amount of hope had been enough to get them all through. Everyone had now regrouped, and now with three additional party members from the future by their sides, they were triumphant in each and every battle against Ganon’s Blights.
But their most recent battle against the Thunder Blight had done a number on Link. It had been so fast, and seemed to land several blows on him despite the blond constantly adjusting his strategy to keep up with the blasted thing. And now, run ragged from exerting his energy in multiple battles, he needed Mipha’s help badly to recover.
Even with her healing powers being pushed to the limit that day, the Princess of the Zora still had room for her favourite Hylian. His skin practically sewed itself up again with her help, and he couldn’t help but feel a bit anxious despite Mipha having done this countless times before. He had always hated being the centre of attention, that feeling of constantly being watched.
What didn’t help was that it was the eyes of not one, not two, but three members of royalty keeping a close watch on his healing process. With his role keeping watch over Zelda and Mipha doing the healing, he hadn’t thought that her brother would be getting a front row seat to his broken and bruised body stitching itself back together again. For some reason, his gaze felt the most intimidating.
When their eyes met he looked away. The prince had saved him, and it was impossible to wipe that from his mind. If it hadn’t been for that first battle, for the prince quite literally dropping in from nowhere, and his words of encouragement, he would not have made it through the day.
Link was just a lowly knight. Why did they all care so much? Especially Sidon.
As the last of his wounds were treated he ended up looking over again, their eyes meeting once more. Once again, he quickly looked away, willing away the redness that threatened to spread across his cheeks. Goddess, what was wrong with him?
Sidon couldn’t see it, but he could feel something there as well. He had always been enamoured by the other as a child. He was tall (or at least back then he was), brave and…handsome? Yes, that was it. He couldn’t place that feeling in his youth, and had been unable to pursue any feelings he had as a hatchling. After this was all over perhaps he could--
“There,” Mipha said as she was all finished. Link went to get his tunic, letting it fall back over his torso before going to pick up his sword. Even in the safety of their small, fortified camp, he could never let his guard down.
And it was then it hit Sidon. Yes, of course. Mipha was alive. His sister was alive! Those feelings he had had needed to be pushed aside; she had never been able to pursue her own happy ending in his timeline.  It seemed a shame, but it felt like the right thing to do. He wouldn’t get in the way of his sister’s affections for Link. He would see to it that she had her chance.
“Are you alright? Feeling better?”
Link nodded despite feeling like shit. While fantastic at fixing wounds, her healing powers could do nothing when it came to the exhaustion washing over him like a tidal wave. He tried to hide it, but it was obvious in the way he wobbled. Sidon, not wanting to interrupt but noticing the uneven sway in his step, put his hand to his back to even out his footing.
When Link looked to him in thanks he knew in that moment suppressing any burgeoning feelings was going to be a difficult task indeed. His balance restored, Sidon removed his hand, offering a charismatic smile to those in the tent with him. “You’ve all done well today, I knew we could do it!”
Ah, but it seemed perhaps he was just a bit too energetic for the mood in the room. It was late. Any leftover troops were gathered outside making quick meals to regain their strength. Perhaps it was time to eat and sleep. No doubt it would be a busy day tomorrow.
“It’s imperative we all rest. I’ll take my leave, I hope you all get an opportunity to get a good night’s rest.”
Mipha nodded and stood up. “Yes, I think that’s the best option.” Zelda only nodded in agreement, the weight of the day now resting heavily on her shoulders and rendering her silent.
But Link shook his head in protest. Not so much because he didn’t want to sleep; his body begged him for rest. But he had a job to do. How could he sleep with all that had happened today, with all that could still happen that evening? What happened if he wasn’t there, alert and ready to defend what was left of their small army.
Sidon seemed a bit shocked by Link’s answer, so he shook his head resolutely once again.
“…right…then I wish you all a lovely evening and a safe watch over us all tonight.”
With that, Mipha and Sidon exited the Zelda’s tent, Link following shortly after to keep guard outside. It wasn’t until they walked closer towards their own tents that Sidon really let his opinions be known.
“Does Champion Link really need permission to sleep at a time like this? Dear sister, this is ludicrous! We can’t just let that poor man stay up, it’s clear as day how exhausted he is!”
Mipha let out a small laugh, though it was mainly at her brother’s reaction rather than Link remaining awake. “I’m serious!” he continued. Didn’t you see the way he shook when he stood up and walked? Surely we won’t be able to put a dent in the Calamity if he’s in a similar state!”
She shook her head. “I was laughing at the way you’re so adamantly coming to his defense. It’s good to see that you’re still the hatchling I remember. Always kicking a fuss when he couldn’t get his way.” She meant no offense to her brother, and was quick to put his shock at her words to rest. “But you’ve grown…and it’s nice that your stubbornness for someone else’s sake rather than your own.”
She gave a heavy sigh though as she changed the topic. “I wish it were so easy to tell him to get some rest, believe me, I’ve tried. But it’s complicated. He takes his job as Zelda’s personal knight almost too seriously…”
Sidon huffed in response, crossing his arms, and then quickly uncrossing them as he saw his sister already laughing once more. Though as he passed a small faction of Hylian guards left over from King Rhoam’s army the wheels in his head began to turn. As he turned from his sister she looked on as he approached them, all smiles as he propositioned them for the chance that, as he would phrase it, could make or break their career as a knight and a hero.
“Gentlemen! I hope you are in high spirits after today’s grueling yet victorious fight! Say, are any of you lot on night watch? I was hoping we might have a moment to talk.”
---
As Link stood outside the tent, soon taking a sitting position as his legs were too tired to continue standing, he was quickly met with a problem. While there was nothing going on around him that put them all in any heightened state of alertness, that meant his mind had nothing to occupy itself. And with nothing to stimulate his mind, he quickly found himself succumbing to sleep.
He tightened his grip on his sword to try and force himself to stay awake, but as he rolled his head to stretch his shoulders he felt his eyes becoming heavy. And then shaking his head awake only worked in the beginning. Frustrated, he finally rested his chin against his chest. Perhaps if he let himself relax, just a small bit, it would be enough to keep him going.
It wasn’t long until he dozed off, lucky that his sword didn’t go clattering onto the ground.
Nearby, Sidon was leading the guard brave enough to volunteer his services towards Princess Zelda’s tent. “I don’t know if this will work, your highness. Master Link is very particular and doesn’t appreciate others meddling in how he keeps watch over the princess.”
Sidon waved that concern away. “Oh no, no, no, don’t think of it as meddling! Think of it as…” he paused for a moment, he needed to really sell this, “training! Yes, her personal knight is the Hero of Hyrule after all, perhaps you could learn some useful tips from him! Consider this akin to an apprenticeship!”
As they got closer he raised his hand to wave to Link, fully committed to convincing the other that he ought to really show this eager guard the ropes of what it took to be a true hero. Though upon closer inspection, and thankfully before his boisterous voice said anything to disturb him, he noticed Link had fallen asleep. Aha. He knew the other had been tired.
“Hmm…” he said, pausing for one moment to think. It occurred to him moments later what he could do. "Wait right here," Sidon said, and quickly retreated to his tent, where he took one of the blankets that had been given to him to use off the mattress. It wasn’t in the best shape and was far too small for himself, but was the perfect size to cover Link’s small frame and provide him some form of warmth while he got some much-needed rest.
He made haste in going back towards Zelda's tent where the Hero sat sleeping and the other guard stood waiting nervously. When he returned he carefully draped it over Link’s body, careful as he got closer so he didn’t wake him.
Much better. He stood up and pat the other guard on the back. “You can put your best foot forward to stay on guard. Wake him in case anything happens, but I have the utmost faith you will rise to the occasion.”
Giving the guard a thumbs up and whispering his thanks, Sidon moved to return to his own tent.
TBC
Do I know the order of events in the game? No. Do I care? Maybe a little. But this game doesn’t care about continuity, so why should I?
This is my first time writing fanfiction in…uh…ten years? Okay well not my first time in ten years. My first time in ten years was a few weeks ago for the SidLink gift exchange. That said, it’s my first multi-chapter fic in ten years.
I’ll do my best to keep updates…somewhat regular. If I can crank out 2-3 chapters a month that would be awesome. But I’m busy as hell 80% of the time. And the 15% I’m not busy I tend to spend on a nap. Constitution Day is coming up though so I’ll have some free time at the end of April and beginning of May.
Fingers crossed. I desperately want to get into writing again. That gift exchange fic was a good kick in the pants and I hope it lasts.
Thanks. And see you.

Me too 👉👈 I'm not to knowledgable on the LOZ world but what if sidon was out and about on his own and he finds this cute little shop owner he absolutely immediately becomes infatuated with, buying little trinkets she makes every chance he can, until he decides to make her his
Oh
Oh yes. Also this is referencing the wedding you get to see after you complete the From the Ground Up side quest. That’s where shark daddy meets his cute little hylian.
He hadn’t expected to travel so far.
Far being a relative term, after all. Akkala wasn’t too far from Zora’s domain, after all.
It was definately odd for him to be this far from home, but he had been called to attend a wedding in a small town.
He sighed, impatiently waiting for the event to start. Crossing his arms, he let his gaze wander, pausing on each of the small shops that had been set up outside homes.
The couple seemed happy enough, albeit, surprised that they had literal royalty to attend their union.
“Ruli!” A voice called from behind him, drawing his gaze to a small hylian chasing a child. The child seemed to have a small, gemstone necklace in her hands as she quickly ducked behind the prince. “Goddess, I’m so sorry-“
He tilted his head, looking down at the smaller form with interest.
They were adorable.
Their face was tinted red as they met his eyes, mouth agape at his much larger form.
“You-I’m so sorry, Prince,” they muttered, dropping their torso in a short bow as he hummed. “Ruli has a nasty habit of taking trinkets that I make and-“
“You made that?” He asked, turning slightly to look at the child now putting on the necklace.
You, on the other hand, were shocked, to say the least.
Here was a literal Zoran prince, asking about your craftsmanship.
“Yes,” you managed, voice a small squeak as you stood up again. You barely reached his stomach in height. “Um, your highness, if I may-“
“No need to be formal!” He joked, a crooked smile sending butterflies to your stomach. “Call me Sidon, little one.”
“Sidon,” you said quietly, smiling up at him. His pupils dilated slightly as he stared down at you.
“May I see your wares, little one? You seem talented.”
You blinked at that, before nodding quickly.
“Of course! I don’t have a shop outside, mine is in my house,” you started, not realizing you were rambling. “I usually get the gems from the sellers in town because I’m too scared to go out and search for them myself, but sometimes I just make silver trinkets. I love to make things, it makes me so happy and I feel excited when people like what I make!”
The prince nodded, following you almost silently as you showed him into your small home.
Oh, this would not do.
Sidon scanned the bare house, scrunching his nose at the lack of, well, anything. It was so bare.
Someone as wonderful as them deserved riches, much like the ones they sold.
His attention was drawn back to the small Hylian as they dug around underneath their bed, tugging out a small, wooden box.
“This is where I keep my favorites,” they said softly, a look of pride covering their face as they met his gaze again. “Ruli’s afraid of going under the bed, so these are safe down there.”
He hummed, leaning closer to watch them open the box. Taking note of the small scars dusting their hands, he made a mental note that they deserved a short spa day.
Of course he’d offer to pay for it.
Before the words could leave his throat, however, they turned, holding up a small, sapphire drop necklace to him. He blinked, eyes widening as they tried to stand high enough to slip it around his head. The Zora crouched, bowing his head to allow them to do so.
Was this Hylian courting?
If so, it was very similar to Zoran.
He’d made his mind.
He looked up, meeting their e/c gaze with a sharp toothed grin that broke across his face.
“Wonderful,” he breathed.
And you were.

I'd like love headcanons about the new champions. Specifically like how they would interact with their Divine Beasts, how they would socialize with the Champions' spirits, and how they interact with Zelda. I love your blog by the way, it's so creative and I love your stories!
Thanks a bunch! Sorry this took a bit, I had a ton of ideas for the Divine Beasts…
Anyway, let’s get into some
New Gen Champion Headcanons!
So Hyrule is saved and now we just got a bunch of giant mechanical beasts laying around
What to do, what to do…
No one can seem to really control the Divine Beasts as it requires a telekinetic connection, and the beasts have to recognize someone’s soul and spirit as worthy…yada-yada
Even Link was cheating a bit, as he only controlled the terminals of the Beasts with his Sheikah Slate. He didn’t have the power to actually tame them, he could only just tilt them around a bit. Hylia knows Link doesn’t need four giant machines capable of causing mass destruction anyway
Zelda, as usual, takes the initiative to find a solution. Who better to tame these Divine Beasts than the ones who helped defeat them!
Enter, the New Champions
Sidon was excited when Ruta responded to him. I mean, such a creature had judged his sister Mipha worthy of commanding it. So the fact that he could also control Vah Ruta resonated with him, as it meant that maybe he could live up to his sister…
Of course, some of the older Zora, including his father, were wary, considering the Divine Beasts were so closely linked with Mipha’s death
But Sidon is determined, he wants to be useful and help Link (aw) and all of Hyrule. He’ll convince everyone that it’s his duty as a noble to help everyone with the Divine Beast.
“Besides, my sister will be watching over me!”
Sidon and Ruta very helpful whenever there’s droughts or a bad harvest. People don’t even need to report anything. Sidon and Ruta just instinctively know if people need rain.
And Ruta does have a mind of her own. She (yeah we’re using she for all the beasts, like boats, ya know?) is sort of playful and just randomly splashes water on Sidon every now and then.
I also like to think the trunk doubles as a speaker, and Sidon just blasts music whenever he feels like it
It seem Yunobo was the only one bewildered that Rudania responded to him’
“W-what?! Why me? All I did was tag along with Link and headbut it a few times…”
It would take some convincing from the elders that he was up for the job
“Nonsense kid. You did what none of us could do. You’re the one who tackled that old lizard head on! Plus, you’re graced with Daruk’s protection. You helped save Goron City, You got this, brother!”
So Yunobo became a Champion, able to tame Divine Beast Vah Rudania. He’s a bit flustered with this new found fame, but he gets through it. After all, the whole ordeal with Link has made him a bit braver
I like to think Rudania’s personality is serious, an all work no play kind of guy. Purely because it clashes with the personality of both Daruk and Yunobo so much. (Hc that’s why Daruk was struggling with his Divine Beast originally)
Rudania moves on their own, without Yunobo’s input sometimes, so they can move out of the way of falling rocks and stuff. The lizard acts like a big old grump
Anyway, the Goron mining business is BOOMING, literally. Those turrets and drones that Rudania has? Super helpful when scanning dangerous areas by Death Mountain, and for identifying valuable ore.
Also Rudania’s fireproof-ness is great on checking on how active the volcano is, a super helpful asset under a slightly anxious Goron youth. Fun!
Teba takes up the job, no questions asked. No one’s that surprise that the best warrior is the successor for the Divine Beast, but he cares a lot about living up to Revali’s legacy. He gets Medoh to respond immediately, and he’s probably the most skilled out of the four new champions with his beast.
However, it takes time for him to warm up, to Medoh. The thing almost killed his best friend, and shot a laser at him after all. Teba does what’s necessary to maintain Medoh, and nothing more.
Vah Medoh basically is a mama bird. It uses its Sheikah tech to keep the inside toasty for whenever Teba comes, she glows warmly in the night, even the propellers are used to blow fast gusts of wind to help Rito get places fast.
Eventually, Teba gets along with Medoh when he practices archery with Tulin on Medoh’s back. The updrafts of the grates there are even better and faster than the natural ones at the flight range.
Vah Medoh’s cannons/turrets are helpful when dealing with the numerous monsters near the Hebra Range. Talus? Gone. Ice Lizalfo camp? Obliterated. Hinox? Dead. This part is probably something Teba enjoys too, he’s a warrior first and foremost anyway, so dealing with monsters so easily boosts his ego, just a bit.
Everyone was ecstatic for Riju. Everyone, especially Bularia, is so proud. Look at all those achievements under her belt! Youngest Chief, has a sand seal prophet, defeated Vah Naboris, oversaw the reclamation of the Thunderhelm and the Yiga Clan Hideout (although that last one was mostly Link, but no one knows that because, he’s a guy, scandalous)
Riju works well enough with her Divine Beast, the Thunder Helm pairs well, and she feels like she’s growing into it anyway.
Naboris is a show off. Stomping for no reason, hanging out in thunderstorms and sandstorms just to look cool? Yes. And Riju plays along with this because what kids doesn’t wanna look cool with a giant mecha beast? With Naboris, Chief Riju is starting to outgrow her fears of being seen as a bad leader, cause a Divine Beast is a pretty good testament to how hard you work for your people. (Aw, her mom would be proud)
Let’s talk about those Electric Generators. This Divine Beast can harness energy from the earth? And has natural electrical systems? So, so, helpful not just for the desert, but for everyone in general. Naboris’ electrical power is used to power other machines and technology, allowing for heating, water systems, lights, the whole sha-bang. And the fact that there’s a lightning rod to attract the lightning, which not only keeps people safe, but harnesses the natural elements of the land? *chef’s kiss*
You bet your ass Zelda hangs out with Naboris a lot too, reverse engineering portable electricity could help all of Hyrule get back on their feet. I’m talking Industrial Revolution baby, (but without the exploitation of the working class and poverty, ya know, only the good stuff)
But besides that, Riju uses Naboris to navigate the desert. You don’t need to worry about sandstorms and such when you’ve basically got a walking house. It’s lights also serve as good waypoints for travelers, or beacons for those that are lost.
Now as for the original Champions…. Well the ending of botw was pretty clear that they had passed on. They sorta disappear…cause they found peace…and all that. I know the point of fanfic is to ignore canon and create your own endings and ideas, but if I got into how I think the Champions would be revived this would be a much longer post, lol.
So we’ll just leave it at, everyone happy. Hyrule is prospering, Zelda and Link are leading a new generation of Champions and helping the people of the land. Everyone gets together and has a sleepover and Link’s house every now and again. And Teba adopts everyone because he is basically the only adult. Yay!

so you want to read that fic but you don’t know what a zelda is
a brief introduction to the characters and several elements of breath of the wild and age of calamity for this bitch. this is basically for my friends and longtime readers who want to read when the war is over/angels but have never played a video game in their fucking life so the rest of you can ignore this. also you should check out when the war is over/angels. it’s pretty great.
THE CHARACTERS
Tumblr media Tumblr media
this is zelda, princess of hyrule, descendant of a goddess. her mom’s dead and her relationship with her dad’s kinda fucked. she’s also supposed to have these, like, superpowers or whatever, and these superpowers are supposed to, like, save the world or whatever, but we dunno where they are and she dunno what do about this. she has a complex about her powerlessness, of course. she’s also very beautiful so she gets two photos.
Tumblr media
this is link. i don’t have a nice photo of him saved so you’ll have to deal with this. he’s been hella badass with a sword since he was like 2 years old and they kind of held him up as a Model Knight at the dinner table or some shit so now he’s very repressed and doesn’t know how to communicate his feelings openly to people anymore. he’s also the chosen knight that’s supposed to, like, save the world or whatever alongside zelda. he’s also zelda’s personal knight. he has canonically eaten rocks.
Tumblr media
this is impa. friend and protector of zelda. scary. i would kill men for her.
Tumblr media
the champions. the big dude with the hairy arms is daruk. he belongs to a race called the gorons that canonically eat rocks and he’s very nice. the tall lady with red hair is urbosa. she’s the chieftain of her people, the gerudo, and she’s the fucking coolest. she will also not hesitate to slap you. the bird is revali. he’s a bird. the tiny fish child next to zelda is mipha. mipha would never slap anyone unless it involved her brother sidon. the champions + link who is also a champion but like a special one, like how everyone has a favorite powerpuff girl, get to pilot these giant gundams called divine beasts and then kick ganon’s ass. that’s pretty much their entire job description. 1) get in the gundam shinji 2) kick ass 3) profit.
Tumblr media
this is the egg guardian. he came from the future and only exists in the age of calamity timeline. you cannot find him in the botw timeline. why? because the bitch left.
Tumblr media
this is calamity ganon. think of him as a giant worm on a string that wants to eat your family. spends most of his time vibing out as a concept. the primary antagonist of the zelda franchise though he’s not usually this fucked up looking.
SHORTHANDS AOC = hyrule warriors: age of calamity, a hack & slash spin-off game that was advertised as a prequel to the legend of zelda: breath of the wild. released 2020. BOTW = the legend of zelda: breath of the wild. the game. the legend. the bitch. released 2017.
THE STORY to get a grasp on That Fic all you really need to know is that a hundred years before the events of botw zelda and co fight against the giant worm on a string and lose. the champions, her dad, and like half of the kingdom’s population die. link also technically ‘dies’, but the sexy sword he picked up (master sword, legendary item, very swag) is like ‘if you send him to this big blue box called the shrine of resurrection on the great plateau he’ll take a 100 year nap and then wake up feeling hella great. he’ll also lose all his memories xd’. so they send link to the shrine of resurrection and then zelda goes to the castle to meet the giant worm on a string and she basically plays uno with him for a hundred years to keep him distracted from the whole eating her family thing while link lies in a box and gets over being dead. so here’s the catch: in aoc, they win. in aoc a hundred years before botw the giant worm on a string attacks and with the power of friendship and also time travel (they import some stock from botw aka Buff dudes and traumatized younger siblings and also children) they defeat him. aoc is literally fix-it fic but like shitty fix-it fic that doesn’t address anything particularly interesting and aims for making everyone happy instead of experience meaningful emotional development. i’m kidding the above is all strictly subjective opinion but the important thing here is that botw is neon genesis evangelion and aoc is the powerpuff girls and that’s a problem for me because they’re supposed to be the same story.
WHAT THIS FIC ADDRESSES WHEN THE WAR IS OVER/ANGELS is basically a very elaborate and fucked up answer to the question: is it possible to have them win and lose in the same universe? the answer by the way is no but through some elaborate buttfuckery i manage to smash both narratives to pieces and then weave them back together and also give everyone extra emotional trauma in the process. the story starts out in the aoc timeline and more or less follows the powerpuff girls story until chapter 2 which is when shit hits the fan. chapter 2 may confuse you, so i would recommend you check out the spoiler-filled addendum if you need clarification. chapter 3 won’t hurt you. i promise. in summary, everyone in this story would commit murder for zelda. and they do.

Chapter 4: Injuries and Nightmares: Part 2
ANGST AND BLOOD WARNING!
Time watched as Hyrule struggled to keep Fierce alive. His breath hitched in his chest as Fierce gave a weak cry of pain. Wild whipped out his slate and swiped furiously.
"I can teleport him to Zora's Domain! They can save him!"
"Do it!" Hyrule cried out in desperation. Wild raced forward and Hyrule grabbed his pant leg and in a flash of blue light, they were gone.
Wild's POV
"SIDON  HELP!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. Fierce choked on his own blood, his face pale as a sheet. Hyrule grimaced but didn't say anything, being too focused on saving Fierce. Sidon came charging in with several guards behind him.
"Link! Dear goddesses! Give him to me, I will take him to healers immediately!" Sidon gently picked up the wounded Fierce, who let out a sharp cry of agony.
"I'm sorry, but this is necessary." Sidon apologized before racing off. I fell to my knees and tears poured down my face. A Zora placed a hand on my shoulder. It was Bazz.
"He'll be okay, we have the best healers in all of Hyrule." He comforted me and pulled me to my feet. I swiped at my tears and sucked in a deep breath.
"Yeah, you're right. I'll go get the others. 'Rule do you wanna come with me?" I questioned. Hyrule shook his head no.
"I want to stay and help their healers," His voice was quiet but there was a fierce determination in his voice and eyes.
"I will take you to the healers, follow me." Bazz ran off with Hyrule hot on his heels. I picked my slate where I had dropped it and tapped on the screen. I shifted through the map until I found the shrine by the stable where we were staying at.
Hyrule's POV
Bazz opened the door and I sprinted in. Fierce needed me. Fierce hadn't been here long, but he was family. He didn't talk much about his journey but I can tell it's taken a toll on him. I wanted to talk to him about it, but he went exploring with Wind...
"Ah, you must be Hyrule!" Sidon beamed his white fangs at me.
"Where-"
"He's over there! Link will need space for you and your company." He walked away and I hurried over to where the healers were. Fierce was barely conscious and heaving, trying to draw a proper breath. His tunic had been removed and I could see his scars. There were multiple but the one that caught my eye was one caused by magic. It was an odd burn, almost like someone had placed a fire rod directly on his skin.
"Most of the ribs on the right side are either broken or cracked. Not to mention the puncture wounds." One of the healers fretted as she grabbed supplies. I walked over to Fierce whose face had gotten even paler.
"Hey Fierce, it's me Hyrule," I whispered and grabbed his left hand. His eyes filled with tears and they spilled down his cheeks. I flinched before squeezing his hand. I want to help them heal Fiercebut he needs me to stay put. I'll stay here for him. He saved Wind, it's the least I can do.
Legend's POV
I yanked Fierce's sword out of the ground and started cleaning it. Warriors, Twilight, and Time were talking in low voices, making sure that no one would hear them. I narrowed my eyes at them but quit when Four stumbled over.
"My head hurts," He whined rubbing his head vigorously.
"Wild?" I asked startled. He was covered in Fierce's blood and didn't look happy.
"He's going to be okay, Hyrule stayed behind to help. I need everyone to pack up, we're staying at Zora's domain. Wind can get checked by the healers there." There was no arguing with Wild, the ferocity in his eyes was not to be reckoned with.
"Alright then, I'll finish this up. Otherwise, I'm ready to go," I replied. Four winced and nodded his head.
"I'm ready too, just can't carry anything. I'll pass out if I bend over." Wild nodded and went to tell the others. I wiped the last bit of the blood off the sword and watched as the trio walked over. Time's face was pale but the others looked grim and somber.
"Can see his sword?" Time asked his voice raspy. I blinked in surprise before handing it over.
"This is the same sword, then?" Twilight questioned.
"Yes, it is, I've seen it on the battlefield." Warriors replied as Time handed it back to me.
"What is going on?" Four questioned his eyes turning violet.
"I think Fierce is lying to us," Warriors spoke up first.
"We don't know that! He just joined yesterday!" Snapped Twilight.
"He could've explained that he's-"
"Shut up!" I snarled. Fierce wasn't here and Warriors and was making assumptions about him.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Four snapped his eyes turning blue.
"He has some answering to do, alright? That sword-"
"You can't interrogate someone because of a SWORD! He saved Wind, that's all that matters. SO SHUT UP!" I roared the last bit, literally shaking with rage. Warriors flinched and took a step back.
"They're right. We can't assume anything. We can talk to him when he's healed," Time's tone left no room for arguing.
Sky's POV
After we arrived in Zora's domain I was quick to get Wind to a healer. He was promptly taken care of. What I didn't expect was to hear someone scream in agony. I yelped. I raced over to where I had heard it before I realized it was Fierce. I felt my blood drain from my face. I walked over to the others who had gone pale.
"Broken ribs," Sidon clucked his tongue in sympathy.
"Not an easy fix. You have to relocate them with magic so they can heal properly. But it's incredibly painful," Sidon shook his head sadly.
"Will he be alright?" I asked concerned.
"With healing and time, he should be." He responded before walking away. I swallowed the lump in my throat. Wild had changed out of his tunic so he could clean it. He was currently scrubbing it, soap suds flying everywhere.
"All we can do is wait and pray," I whispered. Everyone nodded their heads and went to the hotel. I sucked in a deep breath.
"Fi, everything you told me is true. But will he survive?" I whispered. Fi chimed softly.
"I believe you, "
Hyrule's POV
I gently wrapped a bandage around his chest and he whined loudly in pain.
"I know it hurts Fierce, I'm almost done." I gave it one last tug and laid him back down on the bed.
"I have some medicine to take away some of the pain. You'll be able to sleep with no pain." The healer spoke softly and Fierce only moaned in response. His throat was sore from screaming as they relocated his broken bones.
"I'll give it to him, don't worry." I took the vial propped his head up.
"Drink this," I whispered. He whined before drinking the whole. I stayed until he fell asleep. I picked up a rag and walked out of the room. It didn't take long for me to find everyone at the inn. They were arguing about Fierce.
"We can't wait too long,"
"Yes, you will wait!" I snapped. The whole room went silent.
"He... He almost... Died! Leave him alone until he's healed! I may be a healer, but I'll terminate you if I have to!" I snapped tears falling down my face. The rag had Fierce's blood on it. I wiped the rest of it off and stalked off so I could cry.
Legend's POV
I woke to the sound of someone sobbing. It was Wild, he was sobbing in his sleep. I grunted and shook him.
"Hey, wake up. It's just a nightmare, Wild," I whispered. Wild jolted upright. He gasped loudly and attempted to calm himself down.
"I screwed up Legend. It's all my fault." Wild choked as he wiped away his tears. I laid my hand on his shoulder.
"No, it's not your fault. Dark Link summoned those monsters, not you. Don't blame yourself for something that was out of your hands." I replied while squeezing his shoulder.
"Now, go back to sleep. Fierce is going to be okay. I mean, Wind's okay? Right?" I asked and he nodded his head weakly before laying back down. I sighed before going back to bed.
Time's POV
I couldn't sleep. The sword brought back so many bad memories. Fierce wielded that blade. Used that magic was similar to the Fierce Deity. Fierce is the Fierce Deity but he's also Link. I shook my head. Fierce's hair isn't white and he doesn't have tattoos.
"I'm going to check on Fierce," I murmured to Four who was on watch.
"Okay," His brown eyes were filled with worry.
"I'll let you know how he's doing,"

ok normally i dont like looking at leaks but i couldnt help myself with age of calamity and so i watched all the cutscenes as a movie and i have thoughts (heavy spoilers ahead obvs)
oooooooohhhhhhhhh my god. look i dont even care that they retconned botw’s canon getting that happy ending was awesome. like yea im disappointed that its more of a fantasy version than what actually happened but also i didnt have to watch all the champions die horribly and alone so i think its a good trade off. it was kinda expected cause the warriors games arent actually direct canon but whatever. im still absolutely gonna get it once i get a switch (god knows when that will be) but im excited for the gameplay. the demo looked fun, and the story is pretty fun too tbh so im gonna love playing it for myself. i definitely wanna check out all the boss fights, especially the final few
the champions of the future coming back in time to help the champions of the past was a great touch and yes i cried like a baby during miphas section. she gets to see her baby brother all grown up :’) also when sidon shows up going “no you cant take her again” my heart shattered. theres definitely a split timeline cause the future champions obviously mean that the real calamity happened, and they acknowledge that in their future the champions are gone (nintendo came to my house and killed me instantly with the zora stuff i swear to god) them then getting sent back to their own future aka the doomed one was kinda bittersweet cause like they get to see and assist in a victory but they dont actually get to keep that happy ending so its like F
the fortune teller dude never got a name i think, but he wasnt too remarkable tbh. there wasnt really any backstory about who he was and how he was related to all this and how he even came to be working with the yiga clan. or how he got a hold of the corrupted egg guardian/how it ended up corrupted in the first place. so that was a little disappointing but since he died at the end im assuming he doesnt have any importance in actual canon so it was probably just “we need a mastermind behind it all and kohga aint it” kohga realizing that he was on the wrong side and joining the good guys was nice imo. after seeing the fortune teller literally rip the fucking souls out of the yiga members (that was fuuuuuucked up) he knew he messed up and had to help stop what was put in motion. i know most people dont like 180s for villains but i like them so.
holy shit this calamity ganon form was so much cooler than the base game!! like damn dude we couldve had it all but instead we got fucking macgyvered frankenstein spider shit. this form looked so much better, it had the signature hooves and was mostly humanoid like ganondorf or bipedal beast ganon. the red hair was there and the way it was styled i got major demise vibes which is awesome, it kinda feeds into the theories of this ganon and what we saw in the sequel trailer
i still hate the king tho. we at least got him admitting to zelda that he was being an ass but the flashback with the egg guardian having been built/repaired by young zelda and shared with her mother then being taken away by the king seemingly right after her mother passed away (basically the equivalent of taking a childs comfort toy away saying “youre too old for this/this is garbage”) and i will never forgive him for that. no amount of apologizing could make up for how he treated her, especially from such a young age after experiencing the death of her freaking mother. like i get youre grieving and have to prepare your kingdom for a huge threat but maybe have some compassion for your daughter? maybe? just a little??
the way zelda awakened her powers in this story was great too. still happened cause she wanted to protect link but her refusing to run and leave him to die so she can live hit right in the feels. despite having no fighting skills or powers she wanted to act instead of run. anyways i love and stan this incarnation of zelda
overall it was a very epic feeling story and im pretty pleased with it despite the changes they made. i knew not to take it too seriously from the start, its just a fun button mashing game where you take out hordes of enemies at once but set in the old hyrule. i cant wait until i can play it for myself

Hi there! I was wondering if you could do a headcannon involving both Sidon's, Link's and Yunobo's reaction and thoughts to their female s/o with goldenhar syndrome. I know this is a lot to ask but if you should ever find the time to answer that would be great! By the way I love your blog!
Thanks! I hope that these headcanons turned out how you were hoping, but if any info seems incorrect, please tell me so I can fix it!
warnings: none!
-Yunobo-
The purest, most adorable and helpful boy
He loves you just the way you are and wouldn’t change a thing about you
He’s such a sweetheart about everything and he’s so genuinely caring that you feel really comfortable talking to him about it and everything you need
Given that he’s not Hylian, there had to be a lot more explaining with him than usual
But he’s such a good listener talking to him just feels natural
He always wants you to know that you can talk to him about anything and everything, even if he is a little awkward and shy sometimes
He just wants to be there for you however and whenever he can
After making sure you were okay with it, he was super excited to introduce you to the rest of the Gorons
Even if you were a little nervous, it went super well. Not even one of them stared, asked way too personal questions, or did anything but be friendly and happy to meet the nice little Hylian Yunobo was dating
All of them are so sweet, let’s just take a moment to appreciate how wholesome all the Gorons, Yunobo especially, are, shall we?
All and all, Yunobo is just trying to be there for you as much as you are for him, hoping he can make you as happy and confident as you make him
-Prince Sidon-
Supportive shark boy™ always has your back
He’s basically your personal cheerleader, always willing to give you little pep talks when you’re nervous about something and cheer you up when you’re feeling down
He won’t let anything hold you back from living your life to the best
Showers you in compliments and constant reminders of how much he loves you so that you never forget your worth
He knows that the Domain is a lot different from your home, so he’ll do everything he can to make you feel as safe and comfortable as possible
He makes sure that the healers understand everything you need and you have easy access to it
Will always stand up for you if people are ever rude because he just can’t wrap his around why they can’t see you’re perfect the way you are
But given that he’s a literal prince though, you, as the one the Zora Prince is courting, will hardly ever have to deal with such problems
Most Zora are sweet on you because if Sidon likes you, you must be a nice person
Some Zora (mainly the young children) were curious because they’d never seen a Hylian that looks like you (or many Hylian really), but were quick to understand
Now they don’t bat an eye because you explained that some Hylians just look different
In fact, they straight up adore you. Often times, you find herself getting pulled into their little games and Sidon will watch with a fond smile because his heart melts just seeing you so happy and at ease
-Link-
Link is supportive in a more quiet way
He’s always there for you and does his best to make you as comfortable as possible
If there’s something that can be done to help you or make you happier, he’s doing it
He tries to keep you in your comfort zone, but is just as willing to help you step out of it if you’re feeling bold
If a person or situation is ever making you uncomfortable, he’ll get you away from whatever it is right away
You usually don’t have to deal with a lot of people being rude or asking way too personal questions though since courting the hero of Hyrule means there’s automatically a certain level of respect given to you
Plus, most rude people are persuaded to keep their mouths shut because they’d rather not deal with a protective Link honestly though, who would?
Of course, while he is protective, he isn’t overly so. He’s level headed enough to recognize you’re still strong and capable, so he won’t hover around too much (unless it makes you more comfortable of course)
Whenever you have a bad day he’ll take you somewhere with a nice view by horse back to take things off your mind
He genuinely adores you and just wants you to love yourself as much as he loves you

Digimon Cyber Sleuth and other fandoms
Hi! Welcome to my humble partner search. Before going into detail I'll explain "my rules", I know it's a boring part but it helps us both to know if we are compatible. Check out the bolded words for a quick navegation/ summary.
- I prefer to roleplay with +18 people, even if we don't get to touch anything +18 like descriptive gore, smut and such (we can though). I'm over 18 and while in my younger years I roleplayed with both minors and adults, I'm not comfortable enough now that I am myself a legal adult.
- Quantity. I've been told that I'm on the literate side, or semi-lit, or lazy lit (at this point I don't even know what all of those mean exactly ;u; ) but I know that sometimes one doesn't have the energy or just not enough to work to make a +1000 words post. So Quality> Quantity but please give me something to work with (my "lazy/small" usual is around 600 words per character I guess). You get stuck? Let's talk about it. I'm also here for the long term.
- Doubling is required. I like to play both Canon and OC (CanonxOC trash here) and I intend to keep doing it. Do you want to play a canon for me? Please tell me you have a canon you want me to play against your OC. I get easily bored when I don't get to play more than one main character, and I like to build different kind of relationships (friendships, rivalries...) on my RPs, so I expect you to like playing multiple characters (it can be as I said like having two mains and then the others being like NPCs to build the scenes). And I prefer to double with a male canon character usually. Why? I don't know to be honest but that is how it works for me. Note: There may be exceptions to this rule, like fandoms where I prefer OcxOC pairings, but the doubling rule still applies and I'd like to play a female and a male OC.
- About OCs.... I used to accept any kind of OC but I've gotten tired of Mary Sues and all angst kind of characters. I know, it doesn't mean your OC is bad, but bear with me, I've had enough with those characters. This doesn't mean that your character can't have a sad story or that they need to have a happy personality. The problem is when the only thing they do is a constant monologue about their tragic past and they never move the story forward. It gets boring. I want to be hyped about your OC! Choose songs, pinterest boards...
-MxF is what I'm looking for in mains right now (playing both male - most of the time the canon - and female).
- Let's both contribute to the story. Maybe one has more ideas one day, or one suffers writers block, but let's work together yeah? I also prefer if we use both 3rd person, it can be present or past, as you prefer, but 1st is a bit difficult to me.
-When it comes to romance, love at first sight isn't my thing, I usually go with the slow burn/ "organic" path. Maybe you're more impatient, it's ok, I don't mind speeding up things, but not just saying hi to each other and wanting to marry instantly. I like to keep the main genre of the series and focus on our character's development more than having romance as the only and main focus.
- Don't feel forced to answer every single day. I can't stress this enough. This a hobby, not a job. Even if I answer at the speed of light I'm not expecting that from you. There will be times that I won't be able to answer for days, life comes first. And I like OOC, share all your memes, silly headcanons, and feel free to chat with me even if you haven't replied to the RP. I've seen some people hiding that they are online to not be pressured about their RPs. I won't pressure you.
I think that those are the basic rules. I have triggerings and so but I think I prefer to talk about those matters with someone already interesting in roleplaying.
Now, the fandoms (AU/ Aged up friendly). I'll include what (canons I'm interested in); usually a list, so don't worry if we have one or two in common, and then those who I feel [more confident playing as]. Your canon isn't there? Talk with me, I may want to give it a try if you're patient with me. Most of the canons I feel comfortable about playing are going to be male, I may list females and open the option of a CanonxOC where in your side I play a canon female, but I may require a bit of convincing, because again, I like playing males and females in my roleplays.
Digimon Cyber Sleuth (Hacker’s Memory included)
(Arata = Ryu)
[Yuugo, Arata, Male!Main protag of both games, Yuuko, Erika)
Digimon 01/ Tri (Haven’t watched Tri yet though)
(Matt > Tai > Izzy)
[Izzy, Tai, Matt, Joe, aged up!TK]
  Digimon Tamers
(Henry)
[Takato, Ryo, Rika]
  The non-digimon fandoms:
Darling in the Franxx (I didn’t watch the show/ read the manga, but I liked the concept of the mechas and how hilarious the scenes can be)
OC female human x OC male hybrid
OC male human x OC female hybrid
OC male human x OC female human
  The World Ends With You
(Beat)
[Neku]
Legend of Zelda BOTW (I’m almost finished, I’m taking a break from it)
(Sidon)
[Link, Male!Zelda, Fem!Link)
You can also ask a fandom and try your luck? I'm sure I'm missing something.
Well, thanks for reading, or at least attempting to read this ad! It ended up being way longer than I intended, I'm sorry about that. To contact me please send me an e-mail to [email protected]

Miscellaneous and chill little establishing headcanon dump for some of my l.oz people, because they’re delightful and since I’ve never actually interacted with this fandom I’m not sure what’s commonly accepted and what’s coming purely out of my own head, so here’s some kind of framework. Ones involving other characters or the world at large are just there to give myself context, and obviously nobody else is beholden to ‘em.
Also because I’m too lazy to get to bio pages left and they deserve something.
Cool edit: hey personals, don’t interact with this post. Don’t like it, definitely don’t fucking reblog it. Oh my god. Basic etiquette. It’s not tagged with their general tags for a reason.
VAATI
It’s indulgent of me, but for the record, I like to think he won the swordfighting competition largely of his own merit. I like to think he’s smart enough to know he could have just...magic’d his way past it altogether if he wanted, but it sounds like he actually competed.
I HAVE MORE BUT I’M JUST GOING TO EDIT THEM IN SOMETIME LATER WHEN I REBLOG THIS I’m typing at like four in the morning why must I dedicate this time to angry wind maus
ZANT
Comin’ in out of the gate: it’s silly personal headcanon but I generally peg the Twili as ancient Sheikah counterparts - part of the same community that split and cut ties firmly enough that by the time they were banished most people had forgotten, and the differences great enough that the latter was never in any jeopardy. They do have deific ties to Majora and the Fierce Deity, though it’s been so long there’s no telling if active worship...exists.
Is actually competent, and intelligent. Midna notes that he didn’t end up ruling the realm because people could pick up on his power lust, but no mention is made of the fact the dude is...a lunatic, and Midna seems to register it as something unfamiliar when he flies off the handle toward the end of the game. I think he kept an incredibly tight rein on himself at absolutely all times in the specific hopes of seeming collected and controlled enough to rule, and his outbursts only really started after he was passed over. They clearly kept him around for awhile despite knowing they wouldn’t be crowning him, so it stands to reason Zant is genuinely good at whatever his precise role was, and a magic user of some significant finesse. Not raw power, not until Ganondorf, but incredible dexterity when applied to delicate tasks.
In the same vein as viewing the normal Hyrulean royal family as one certainly responsible for performing or enabling some heinous things, I assume the same could be said of the Twili royals. While I believe Zant’s “served and endured in that depraved household” is an embellishment he’s making spitefully because he’s narcissistic and falling apart, there’s a kernel of important truth. There likely were goings-on that would seem shady to us. I can’t imagine specifics, but it’s worth mentioning that Zant was not the only of the Twili who wanted to return to the real world, and while he had violence on the mind, one could certainly guess there were others who would have been more than content just negotiating a return, and to share it. It’s nevertheless treated entirely as some unreasonable desire, despite...the fact...they were ejected from their home and left to their realm so long they’re markedly different, so much so their previous environment kills them. ( One can only imagine adapting to the Twilight Realm was unpleasant, for the first over. )
50% of the reason he loses is because he’s a moron and an indulgent moron, who just can’t sate himself with winning; he has to win and having a living loser to point at and laugh. He has to have someone he can personally lord over, living testaments to the power of his wrath. If he smartened up enough to just kill people, I...really don’t think he’d have lost that one.
The other 50% is that he’s so utterly unused to Ganondorf’s power, which is overwhelming in both volume and intensity. Zant can warp reality with it. He is, in some important sense, something of a god. And that’s so much that he, who is incredibly well practiced with making more efficient use of less magic, has no goddamn clue what to do with it. It’s difficult to channel and control, and the result are broad sweeps that are chosen for dramatic effect or specifically because they eat up enough to keep him comfortable, rather than practicality.
I’m not sure where I’m going with it, but it’s fascinating to me that most Twili seem to be pretty skin-baring whereas he doesn’t even show his neck under the helmet, and places such a clear focus on fabricating bulk that just isn’t there. I like to think parts of his outfit have weights, and it was partially an effort to physically restrain himself from any reactive-contorting at work. Sometimes you wanna break your spine but that would look most uncouth.
Not a physical fighter. Hit hard, hit fast, hit erratic, then collapse because you can’t breathe. Twili are in general much more inclined toward magic than traditional fisticuffs, but Zant’s exceptionally physically weak among even them. Reedy ‘n Dweeby.
SIDON
Incurably shy kid, believe it or not. The complete lack of dialogue of his in Mipha’s memory was actually entirely because Zelda was there; he would have been sheepish enough had it been any outside figure, but especially someone he understood to be so important - how could he speak? So small. Sheepish. A lot less confident in himself than he’d eventually become, and Mipha’s gentle encouragement ( and its legacy ) was definitely the biggest factor in changing that.
Really really really worried, constantly, that he’s a drain on people. It’s something of a holdover from his shy youth, but also backed up by a lot of what he can observe. He places a great deal more pressure on himself after Mipha’s death as the new heir ( he was never supposed to be, and would honestly be a much more sincerely at ease adult had it not come down to him ), more than, frankly, anyone around him has. As clearly beloved as he is, and with the fairly warm and encouraging person we can surmise his father to be, there’s some demanding little tug he feels toward inadequacy at all times. He’s incredibly empathetic and not being able to assist everyone all the time, despite the impossibility, hurts him.
He’s a little too warm-hearted and emotional, he feels, to be the ideal ruler. He’s far too dedicated to proving to others and himself that he could be, however, to fully indulge his personable and down to earth side. He’s caught teetering quite awkwardly on the edge where he can’t reap the benefits of his charming personality OR dedicated focus and work ethic.
His father never told him Mipha was dead, as he refused to believe it himself. Most zora were split, but eventually enough people seemed defeated enough while murmuring about the matter, the statue went up, and Sidon was first forced to put it together for himself that she really, truly wasn’t coming back. The single most devastating day of his life, and to think it was years after the fact. He hurts more for it, and it’s part of the reason his night visitations are so constant.
On a happier note, he absolutely does tiny swimming drills with little zora kids whenever he can find the time and get a gaggle together. Much whistle blowing, big exaggerated gestures, so much encouragement, it’s a great time all around.
Seeing Zelda and Link makes him regress, just the faintest touch; he certainly idolized Zelda as a child, and despite having some sister-stealing-related animosity towards Link, had spent the remainder of his youth looking up to him as well. It’s two childhood heroes perfectly preserved and dropped back in front of him, which is quite a happy and confusing shock. It brings a lot of Mipha back to mind, which is bittersweet, but he’s also...doggedly determined to try and prove himself to them, despite their approval meaning nothing at all for him beyond sentiment.
No you really don’t understand how cool he thought Zelda was
Definitely....accidentally....got more than a handful of Hylians killed, trying to run them through what Link did. This is actually why he has to stop and check on you every leg of the way -- he really is concerned, and it’s a self-reassurance as much as he hopes it’s just normal reassurance for Link.
REVALI
Doesn’t hate Link. Really. It would need to be coming from a much more intense, much more personal place to truly register as hate. He does, however, IMMENSELY DISLIKE him. It isn’t any kind of confused expression of affection -- I can’t stress enough, the antagonism is pure and genuine. Revali feels incredibly real bitterness toward Link, and to an extent that ever getting past it would be an entire arc in itself. An arc that’d literally be longer than his life, mind you.
I see it crop up a lot so it might be wide fanon? I wouldn’t know - I do generally believe he was an orphan, and Hyrule is so packed with ways to die I couldn’t begin to pin down a cause yet. That said I don’t imagine Revali himself would know, having lost his parents quite early in life and refusing information initially because it hurt, and after that because he convinced himself he was better not knowing. He was for the most part a fairly serious child, simultaneously aggressive and clingy. I imagine he was raised in a foster sort of setting, with an older guardian who passed naturally and with little fanfare when he was a young adult. They got on well enough, and they likely encouraged his at-first-shot adoration for archery ( as is Rito custom, but also Revali’s interest in its own right ) and let him have what space he wanted. Which was a lot. Solitary, even back then. He didn’t take many pains to involve himself with the community and was typically given a lukewarm reception.
A completely unimpressive shot, initially, but he took to flying at a little more impressive a pace. Not exceptional at either for a long while. He got exceptional by working at it on a daily basis for...honestly, the entirety of his life after he first picked it up. No exaggeration. Minimal breaks taken, and only to make sure he had minimal time to heal or rest his muscles when sorely needed, and never more. He had some small reserve of natural affinity, but by and large his success came entirely because he worked his ass of for it. He took it seriously, kept at it, stayed passionate about getting better; not for a particular reason, even. He had most of the village’s best archers thoroughly outclassed* in his late teens ( or Rito equivalent ) and though he was a ways from even conceptualizing the Gale, was a thoroughly adept flier. He didn’t care particularly much about warrior-ing as a career but assumed it was where he would end up, and in the meantime supported himself comfortably enough through inheritance and some horribly tedious job nobody recalls because he glared them into taking it to their graves. This was eventually swapped with competition winnings as his star ascended.
*  I’d like to note I generally don’t think the Rito are actually renowned archers, and it’s more of a cultural thing than one of skill. Revali asked for a practice range to practice at more elevations, which sounds like the sort of thing they’d have to begin with if they were putting intense focus on archery in combat. Revali’s skill wasn’t notable or locally renowned as some kind of curiosity, it was because he was outperforming actual warriors and taking an icon of theirs to new heights, and at a relatively young age. Note that no one else can make physical use of his bow, after his death. It’s not just that he’s good, it’s that he actually IS better at it than anyone else in the area. And this is before he invents the Gale. Additionally, he was entirely self-taught beyond the rudimentary tips to help him start flying as a young’un. It was difficult, but he isn’t broken up about it. On the contrary, it freed him to go at everything at his own overintense pace, and work on outdoing everything rather than necessarily polishing his grasp of basics before he absolutely had to. He really values self-reliance in others, for reasons like this.
It’s small, but his ‘I...could get used to this’ is enough to convince me in addition to being more stoic in his youth, he was something approaching humble. It’s not entirely that the sudden onslaught of praise overinflated his ego - it did, but that’s not all of it - but also that he felt the amount of praise was proportionate to the blood, sweat, and tears he had put into getting so good. He had no friends, mind you, no family, and beyond the one mention of Rito children looking up to him and the general legacy he left behind as a visionary in his craft, he didn’t have much of a life. He certainly enjoys it in an annoying way, but I think there’s some merit to the zeal.
I get the vague impression Rito are fairly removed, and while not unfriendly are a little closed off from other cultures. Revali reflects this, partially in his implied low opinion of Hylians.
Of the champions, Mipha and Zelda are his favorites by a ridiculous margin. Not that it shows all that often. The Mipha smile though? Significant. She’s Theeeeee favorite. ( Not that this means he didn’t probably pick on young Sidon, just a touch. )
Died because...I mean, the plot, but also because he was tired ( the distance he had to travel to get to Medoh, and in one go, isn’t ideal ), more shaken than he would admit on pain of a hundred deaths ( at what he’d seen on the way there, surely more chaos than he was accustomed to ), and the corruption of Medoh hit him especially hard as he had REALLY bonded with it. The ‘winging it’ line is partially true; after all of that, he...panicked, a little.
The lack of living people that remember him? Eats at him way way way way way way way way way way way more than he’ll ever let anyone know. He’s a real sad bird, inside.
GHIRAHIM
His baseline ‘personality’ / set of functions is, at the core, largely a mirror of Fi. He is the version of himself that we know only because he refused to linger in his sword state -- ambition and initiative were things he had much more of than she did, and largely lacking in the tactful patience that’s more or less served her well. Being crafted rather than born and manifesting himself on his own, he at no point had anything resembling a guiding figure or much by way of...normal socialization. The lack of anything resembling a traditional foundation coupled with the RIDICULOUS amount of time he spent in incredibly mixed company seeking out whatever might help him locate his master, and the frustration that comes with such immense and ongoing failure, contribute as much to the end result as anything he was made / ‘born’ with.
He actually isn’t an astonishing combatant against someone intelligent who knows what they’re up against; he is himself aware of this, and takes what other advantages he can get. I typically view Link defeating him as fair integration of gameplay and story and not something that had to happen for the plot - it ultimately came down to the sword Link was using. Ghirahim isn’t at his most powerful unless he’s in sword form, as that’s what he was designed to be, and some substantial portion of his energy is likely wasted on manifesting physically at all, any magic he performs, teleportation, so on and so forth. He can read people, he has his magical origins on his side, and he’s certainly strong, and all of those things are enough to fell whatever unfortunate people or monsters initially tried to attack him, but up against non-laymen and in the name of cutting down needless-but-numerous future challengers it’s in his interest to blow himself out of proportion. He’s a fantastic talker, good at making an impression, and once the first crop is afraid of him, it just snowballs until he doesn’t need to do much of anything - I imagine ‘Lord Ghirahim’ was something he didn’t actually come up with himself, but heard once and liked it so much he went out and made everyone do it.
There’s some level of discontent with his ultimate fate, but it’s buried under his own resolute refusal to acknowledge or explore it consciously because he was made to serve and to serve one purpose, and was not intended for any higher aspirations, and because even on an unconscious level, his very being can’t accept it for long. During his impressive span of relative isolation and lording over scant surface-folk / monsters, he grew just a touch beyond his programming. Make no mistake, this doesn’t make him less of a threat -- has to or not, he is nothing short of a fanatic and would still do anything at all for Demise or to spite Hylia -- it’s merely that he briefly lets his mind wander, and suffers a somewhat human need to justify himself, which he has. ( In fact it makes him worse, because he’s gone from something of a mindless tool of cruelty to someone actively seeking it out, having convinced themselves quite firmly of its necessity and value. ) A general Thing I run with re: this whole series is that Hyrule’s actually a horrible place to live if you squint, and basically all the goddesses are horrible to the poor mortals below. Ghira’s owed a little frustration with his lot.
Related to the above? As delightful as it is to joke about, he’s not a sincerely sexual entity. Any and all weird tongue-waggling is done specifically because he knows it throws people off, and that’s what he wants out of a fight. He’s not socialized enough to know much of the nuance behind similar action, he just knows it gets a large reaction out of people, and typically that makes intimidation or murder even easier.

So I Don’t Forget Again: A Breath of The Wild fanfiction
Entry 151: Zora’s Domain
After training and lunch Sidon and I went searching for history again. We would have brought Bossa Nova, but he had wandered off during training.
We went searching around Ruto Mountain. It reminded me of when we were just walking around the cliffs that faced the Akkala region. Just walking around and chatting. He did give me a scare though when he accidentally slipped on some rocks and slid down a shallow cliff. Thankfully it was not a long drop and he found some more history.
It’s rarer, but Sidon got embarrassed. He’s rather cute when sheepish, he has this little habit of scratching his cheek, even if he tries to hide being flustered, that gives him away. He apologized for worrying me, saying a prince ought to have more awareness of his surroundings.
It was about Mipha, her trident. When she was born the trident was made for her. From the start she was loved by everyone, she was even skilled in spearmenship, easily mastering the Zora’s form. After she died, everyone was devastated, it was like they all lost the most lovable, precious, strong person in the world. They tried sending her trident down the river as a funeral of sorts, but it began to glow, and they heard Mipha speak. She told them her and her trident were one, and to keep going on happily, to remember the past with fondness, it happened and not grief that it was over and to not cry. Since then, on the anniversary of the Calamity striking, they honor the trident as a holiday.
So, when I was given her trident, when I was told that with it she would be protecting me like she wanted, it wasn’t hyperbole or a metaphor, or whatever, they literally meant it. Mipha is literally with me.
Sidon asked me if I was alright. I told him I was the one who should be asking him that. The gesture of being given this trident, what had become my main weapon, the one I almost always go to for battle, something that is considered to be Mipha, it just means a lot. I can understand gifting me the armor she wanted to give me, but her trident, it almost feels to be too much. I just wish I could remember more about her. I want to know what our relationship was, and if she really was as great as everyone says. She honestly almost doesn’t sound real. Just perfect in every way. But then again, Sidon is here, so a person like that isn’t too far of a stretch. Sidon said he wasn’t perfect, but he strives to be, to be like his sister.
I asked Sidon if he was pressured to be like his sister. He admitted that at times, yes. Sometimes he felt he wasn’t good enough and couldn’t live up to her legacy, how when he was younger he would be compared to her often but that just meant he had to create his own legacy and be the kind of person everyone could love, but in a way different from Mipha. He said it’s like what I’ve done. I… didn’t understand. He seemed confused and asked to read through my memories, of the ones of my current time here. He told me there was something I hadn’t noticed.
It seems so blaringly obvious now.
I’m not being compared to the Hylian Champion from a hundred years ago. We are separate people. There’s the old, or I guess younger me, the me who fought with the champions, the one who Mipha loved, and the one who died. Then there’s me, a new champion. One who is more expressive than the one from long ago, one who’s made a reputation for being a troublemaker with an exceedingly kind heart. The new champion who gleefully plays with the children and help them with their pranks. The new champion who had such a big heart he searched across Hyrule’s waters for one single person. The new champion who fought along side their Prince to save them all, a person who rose from death itself just to help people. Someone who even when injured still wants to help by becoming a teacher. They see the old champion and the new champion as separate people now.
They haven’t talked about the past much being here this time, the old me. The old me exists, and is remembered, but I’m not him.
At times, it feels the Zoras speak of nothing of the past, but they live for so long, it only makes sense, it’s not history to them, they all remember it all, yet… Mipha and Sidon are both loved, but differently, and I, though the same person, am thought of differently, and now even treated differently.
That must be why it feels different this time, not as suffocating or sad. Its… like the feeling I have for Hateno, but different, like the love for Sidon and Mipha.
It’s nice.
We kept exploring around the cliffs.
We got a clear view of Mount Lanayru. There seemed to be this bluish-purpleish glow at some places. It’s not like the Luminous stones in the Domain, it’s something else. It’s odd. I never looked around there before. Maybe there’s some shrines to be found, maybe I could get some new equipment, hopefully something to keep warm in the snow since I’ll be going to Rito Village.
We had to do a bit of rock climbing and Sidon carried me the whole way. He slipped a few times but did very well.
We also walked along very tally, grassy areas and found a forest. I insisted we search around it. No matter how small or inconspicuous, I’m going to search every forest for the Master Sword. Sidon asked if this was what traveling was like. Sometimes, it really depended on the area and if I’m following roads or not. Sidon said he’d like to travel someday. It would be fun to have him and Yunobo tag along. Maybe I should visit him soon and see how Death Mountain is doing. Maybe he’d feel safe enough to travel now.
We found more history in the forest.
It was about a princesses Zora who fought alongside the princess of Hyrule and the legendary hero against a man who wanted to rule the world. The Divine Beast was named after her and it was believed to be fate for another princesses Zora to have been chosen to pilot it.
The sun was beginning to set, we should have gone back, but we decided to go searching for a little longer.
The Domain at night is beautiful. It reminded me of Death Mountain. I tried describing the gorgeous sight of that bright, hot lava against the stark darkness. Sidon said that usually if the Gorons and Zora wish to speak, the Gorons come to them, but perhaps, I could be his escort, take him up the mountain, and he could use a lot of potions to protect himself there. The Gorons respect strength so a Zora, a being who needs a cool moist climate, to go to their land, surely they’d respect that and make the ties between them stronger! Sidon wants his people to have good relations with everyone, working together would make everyone stronger than they are alone. The Hylians used to be more so the force that tied the Zora, Goron, Gerudo and Rito together, but with our power fallen, everyone has somewhat separated and Sidon wants to get everyone back together to be able to better help one another and fight against any more disasters like the Calamity. The visit could serve two purposes! If he was going to go there anyway with me, he might as well as get to know the Gorons. He spoke of it like it was certain we were going to visit one day. He told me that if he had the power, he’d do anything for me. He said that with all my travels, I’ve seen so many places, so if I specifically am fond of one area, it must be something more beautiful and unlike any other, he trusts my judgement.
We’ve been taking the river when traveling, but this time we just walked on the trail. Traveling by river and riding on his back is much faster than walking. We found another one. It was about his father and how he had defeated a guardian single handedly and saved the domain.
On the way back we found some blue nightshade flowers. He tucked them behind my ear and just said ‘adorable’, and then I was especially so when I blush and he did it with that toothy grin and why must he make my heart race so effortlessly! He’s doing it again even now just remembering it! AGAIN!
We found one last history piece one the way back, it was right by the road like the last one. Unlike the others, it was notably worn, decayed and uncared for. It was just barley legible, unlike the others. It’s close by town too, it’s almost impossible to miss it when coming and going from town via the trail. The others, some are nowhere near trails or water and were difficult to get to or to find yet were perfectly kept up. It was about me, when I defeated the lynel and earned the Zora helm.
Sidon just stared at it for a while. I couldn’t quite read his expression.
After a while he took my arm and lead me back to the medical bay. Before leaving me in my room, he kneeled down and just hugged me. He told me I am an amazing and sweet person. That I’m strong and courageous beyond belief. He told me I am such a marvel, how hard working I am is astounding. He was grateful he could call me his friend, and I deserved only the best the world had to offer. He asked if I knew I was loved. That people truly care about me and want nothing more than for me to be able to be happy and safe.
If no one else, I at least know without a doubt he cares.
Bossa Nova was asleep on the bed when I got to my room. He looked so comfortable I didn’t want to wake and move him.
Sidon asked if I thought I’d go to sleep. I’m too wide awake, I have too many things on my mind.
Sidon asked me to follow him.
He took me to the reservoir where Vah Ruta was attacking from. We were able to climb up it with a staircase. At the top there are several docks that line the top. Before the dock we were on there is this big, I think it’s called a gazebo? It has a roof and the framing for walls, but no actual walls. Along the frames there’s this counter that connects everything except for the entrance gap. On it are some trays, chalices, a jug and some tall thin glasses full of drinks. There are also a few seats by the counters. The back doesn’t have any pillars, not far beyond it though is the large wall we had to scale to get here. It’s a little taller than the reservoir itself. On the frames are the softly glowing stones, everything else is crystals. There’s also a large bed at the back. Sidon says it’s a water bed. The bed frame is like a cradle that holds this giant bag of water that’s the mattress. Because it’s water the mattress moves and readjusts when you’re on it. It’s so comfortable, and warm, the heat readjusts too.
Sidon told me we was not sure why this was here, maybe it was for entertaining the Hylian royalty when they came to visit the reservoir. Whatever the reason for it, he found it to be a nice spot. From here there’s a gorgeous view of the town and the surrounding nature. You can even see distant mountains and cliffs. It feels like it close to town, but also detached. Just me and Sidon, no one else. The night sky here seems endless. It’s a strange feeling being here.  Almost feel a little nervous being here with Sidon. Sidon is usually so calming which makes this even stranger. It’s not a bad kind of nervous though.
Its more windy here than it is in the canyon, more chilly too. Sidon and I hid in the bed, and it was so warm. Like standing in the morning sunshine in Gerudo desert.
Sidon loosely draped his arms around me and made sure he wasn’t touching my injured arm.
He wondered aloud if I could have my splint taken off for a while so I could take a bath, it might be relaxing if it wouldn’t hurt me. He wondered if we should visit Death Mountain before or after I face the Calamity.  He wondered if I’d take him everywhere across Hyrule, just go anywhere I wanted. He wondered aloud about us resting under the stars. He spoke very sweetly, just about us being together. Sidon kept talking, trying to stay awake, but he soon fell asleep. He’s hugging me in his sleep. Even when he’s not awake his touch is so strong and secure.
Bossa Nova can get food, and I’m sure Sidon will be able to wake me up, so maybe I’ll try to fall asleep tonight. No one can get hurt if I rest for now. The Rito need help, but I can’t go till this infection in me is gone, the doctors won’t allow me to go till I’m healed, so since I can’t help them anyway maybe I can rest for the night. Maybe it’d be okay, but I’m not sure if I even can.

(Finally finished this fic after who knows how long. Anyways, I wanna thank @madamecricket and @motivationalsharkprince for giving me the inspiration to write this out, based on this post. Hope you all like it!)
Warning: Story contains mentions of blood, dismemberment, slight swearing, and animal abuse. If these elements are too uncomfortable for you, please DO NOT read.
The sun was setting among the Lanaryu region as two Hylian men made their way across a bridge. Noren panted as he wiped the sweat from his brow, both from the humidity and the anger he was feeling. His foot still hurt from a young Hylian girl stomping on it after she refused his advances. “That little bitch…” he growled. “If I ever see her again, I'll slit her throat! And then I'll skewer her boyfriend with my sword!”
“Oh give it a rest, Noren,” Gori chided. “We'll get her next time. In the meantime, we gotta think about our next move. We're running low on cash and I don't know about you, but I don't wanna run into any monsters.”
Noren nodded and thought about it. Sure, they could find a monster camp and pick them off one by one, harvesting the remains, but that would take time and there weren't many camps around to raid. He rested his hand on his chin to think.
“You boys need help?”
The two Hylians looked up to a glowing tower to find the owner of the new voice. He looked like a dark figure… literally. His clothes were as dark as the night itself and his eyes shone red, giving a stark contrast to his dark grey complexion. He looked like a Hylian and yet, there was something off about him. The figure jumped off the tower to face Noren and Gori.
“Who the hell are you, freak?” wondered Noren, wary of the stranger.
The dark Hylian gave a mock hurt look, complete with a hand to the chest. “Freak? Gentlemen, you wound me so. And here I was going to let you in on a juicy secret.”
“Secret? Whatcha mean?” Gori asked, interested.
“Heh. I suppose I can tell you both out of the goodness of my heart. All things considered… you can call me Dark,” the young man grinned as he said this, but it was a rather creepy grin.
Noren raised an eyebrow in confusion. “That your real name or did you come up with that yourself?”
Dark just scoffed. “Like yours are any better. Anyways, I was just hanging around when I heard you two were looking for some quick cash-in.” He leaned in a bit close. “I might be able to help you on that. Ever heard of Zora’s Domain?”
“...We’re listening,” Noren answered, now intrigued.
“Legend has it there’s a neat treasure there that once belonged to a king. So far, nobody’s claimed it.” He smirked towards them. “It might just be your lucky day.”
“How do we know you’re not just pulling our leg?” Noren asked, still skeptical.
As if being one step ahead, Dark pulled out a slightly dusty Shiekah Slate and showed the two a picture of a dark-colored treasure chest in the middle of what looked like a throne. “Satisfied? There’s no one there anymore so it’s easy pickings.”
Gori stepped forward and pointed to Dark’s chest. “How come you never picked it up yourself?”
“Because I don’t need material things to keep me happy. Now skedaddle on to that treasure. It’s waiting for you~”
“Alright, alright. We’re going! Let’s get walking, Gori.”
Gori’s eyes shimmered with anticipation for that treasure. “Oh boy, just think of what’ll be in that box. We’re gonna eat like kings after this!”
“Oh you won’t be the only ones…” Dark chuckled to himself before slipping into the forest.
After several battles with monsters and braving the rain, Noren and Gori finally made their way to the entrance of Zora’s Domain. The structure of the palace was covered in green algae and the luminous stone that made up the walls and pillars no longer had its bright luster. There also seemed to be no sign of any natives around the area. The Hylian men walked on cautiously in case something or someone was hiding in the shadows.
Gori shivered as he walked. “This place is giving me the creeps. Let’s just find that treasure and get the hell out of here.”
Noren nodded, agreeing. “Yeah, no kidding. Gaah, but it would have been nice if that dark brat told where exactly it was. Though if I remember correctly, he said it’d be up on the king’s throne.”
With that, the two of them headed to the abandoned throne where the Zora King once stood. Rumors say that he was killed by one of his own people. Others say he died of a broken heart upon hearing the news of his daughter’s death. Whatever the reason, Gori and Noren didn’t care at all as they walked up to the throne. Lo and behold, there was a medium-sized treasure box that looked slightly rusted.
“Aw, yes! We find it, Gori! We actually found it!” He walked towards the chest greedily when suddenly a black cat perched herself on top of the chest. She meowed at the pair as if daring them to get closer, her tail swishing side to side.
Gori stepped back a bit. “Hey uh, Noren? I got a thing about cats, so uh, think you could get this puss away?”
“Tch, if this is what the Zoras consider treasure security, it’s no wonder they all left this dump.” He swatted his hand at the cat in an attempt to scare the animal away. “Get off of here! Go on! Shoo!” The black feline only swatted at the Hylian with a yowl and hissed threateningly at the pair. “Ahh, fuck this!” Noren growled as he stepped up and then kicked the cat away hard, making her fly into one of the nearby pillars with a pained cry. “Hmph, stupid animal.” He knelt down and broke the lock off the chest. The Hylian man wasted no time in lifting the lid, but opening it… he and Gori were met with confusion and disappointment. There was no glint of treasure, but rather… a small piece of paper with some writing on it. Noren picked it up and read the note. “‘You should not have come here?’ The hell does that mean?!” He crumpled the paper and growled. “When I find that smug little bastard, I’ll-”
His threat was then cut off by Gori’s whimpering and shivering. “N-N-Noren, d-d-don’t look behind you…” “What the hell are you on about, Gori?” He then heard a rather animalistic growl, one that made his blood turn to ice. He looked towards where the sound came from and saw a large bulky red Zora with scars littering his body and an expression that was ready to kill. Noren quickly stood up and pulled out a sword. “What the hell is that thing?!”
They both then heard a laugh from the side. Out from the shadows came Dark petting the same cat that Noren had kicked. “That ‘thing’ happens to be hungry~” “You little shit! When I get my hands on you, I’m gonna-” His threat was cut short when he felt a sharp pain on his arm. Noren immediately turned his gaze to the source of the pain and his eyes widened in terror as there was a fleshy stump, dripping blood where an arm used to be. His scream was a mixture of pain and fear, but the beast quickly shut him up by sinking his teeth into the Hylian’s neck.
Gori stood frozen in fear as he watched his friend be mauled to bits by this monster. He then tried to run off, hoping the Zora would be too busy with his first victim. It was no use as one of his arms was caught in a bone-crushing grip and he was shoved to the ground. He barely got an idea of what happened when the Zora suddenly chomped on to his stomach and the man let out a blood-curdling scream.
Dark merely sat back and watched in glee as the beast ate his fill. After some time, he set the cat down and walked over to the Zora. “Sorry to keep you waiting, Sidon. I had some trouble finding gullible idiots to come explore the domain.”
Sidon just licked the blood off his lips and grunted in reply. He then felt the cat rub up on his leg and the Zora gave her a gentle pet on the head as if thanking her for playing her part. Sidon picked her up carefully and nuzzled her fur, incredibly grateful that she wasn’t hurt any worse than what that awful Hylian did.
Dark snickered at the scene. “You are something else, babe. One minute you’re tearing up Hylians, the next you’re babying our cat.”
Sidon just huffed and rolled his eyes in annoyance, then pulled the Hylian in close with his free hand and pressed his lips hard onto Dark’s. The smaller man offered no resistance as he kissed back hungrily, wanting the taste of his lover on his tongue. Sidon then pulled back and lightly bit at Dark’s neck, drawing out a slight moan from him.
“Mmmm, damn. I think you’re hungry for something else, aren’t you?” he teased the large Zora.
Sidon merely gave a husky chuckle and growled into Dark’s ear, “You’re mine and mine alone, my dark pearl.”
Dark smirked and rested his forehead on Sidon’s. “You’re right about that, babe… and I’ll always provide for you.”

YuuriVoice: The First Year, Reviewed
October 22nd, 2016, was a day that marked a major change in my life, though I had no clue that would be the case at the time. I was sad, lonely, and tired. Tired of trying, tired of swinging and missing. Tired of being so unfulfilled creatively. My passion for living was flickering, nothing was all that enjoyable any more.
I had spent recent years trying to find my voice. I loved to create and entertain, but nothing quite fit. Frustrated and exhausted, I found one hobby, one thing that was different enough that I could turn off all the noise and just have fun. When even my vices ceased to thrill me, I found comfort and relief in having fun with a microphone and my writing. Writing, my first love that I jilted and left in the past, was suddenly fun when I framed it within the context of the scripts I wrote for these recordings. It started with Yuri on Ice, but quickly turned into so much more. I want to take you all through some of my favorite recordings from this past year.
For you, this is might just be YuuriVoice’s Greatest Hits Vol. 1, but for me? For me, this is the year that my life finally turned around.
Thank you, enjoy the trip down memory lane.

These only scratch the surface, but the list was getting way too long as I found it harder and harder to just pick a few favorites. Some of these are funny, some of these are meaningful milestones, but all of these, and everything else I’ve done, has brought me here to this day. It has been a year of growth, a year of lessons learned, a year of burning brighter than every, a year of breaking the chains that I’ve carried with me for such a long time.
I am happy, and I am freer today than I was a year ago. To the friends I have made along the way, I thank you for holding me up on the days when I wasn’t sure I could keep standing. To the 14,000+ of you who found something here that was worth your time and consideration, thank you for taking a chance when you hit that play button. I recognize that what I do here is quite silly, different, odd. You thought “maybe this won’t suck”, and were pleasantly surprised. Thank you.
There are a few names I’d like to name.
Alice, we out here bruh. You’re the last one standing, the part of my past worth keeping around after I cut off so many people. I owe so much to you, and I am so, so lucky to have you in my life and to have met you at such a crucial point in it.
Moni, thank you for pushing me and believing in me. I wouldn’t have started my Patreon page had you given me the confidence to try. Your persistence and belief led to literal life changing developments, and I will ride for you until I’m dead.
Daniel, you have been a constant source of comfort, friendship, and aid. You have literally went off and learned how to get good at design just for the sake of helping me step my presentation up. You’ve expected nothing in return, and have been a selfless, loving friend. There’s not a day I don’t hope you’ll be looking back at your own year where your life has changed as dramatically as mine has this past year. You deserve it.
To Han, Catty, and Hailey, you three are very near and dear to my heart. We’ve had many nights filled with joy and laughter. My heart was breaking when I thought perhaps those times would come to an end. I do not pour much of my heart into any relationships these days, because I’ve seen so many come to an end, but for you three I’ll order another round, and drink to patience, friendship, and love.
To the Red Velvet Squad, we’ve seen some shit, huh? Thank you for sticking with me. Thank you for being so chill, for being a safe place, for being my friends. A year ago, I was pretty sure I was going to be guarded, isolated, and protective of myself. Who needs friends, right? Fuck that. I’ve taken my lumps for being open and letting people in, but any black eye, any bump or bruise, is worth the friendships we’ve built together. I hope that in the next year we’ll become even closer, that we can continue to grow and work together as well.
Special shout out to the Anon who said sometime towards the end of Yuri on Ice airing that they couldn’t wait for Yuri on Ice to end and for my blog to die. Jokes on you, clown shoes. I want you specifically to know that your shitty attitude pushed me on the days I wanted to stop, the days when I doubted myself, the days when I felt like taking it easy. Thanks pal. You really showed me.
To those the followers, those who commission me, and those who support me on Patreon, you all make this possible. You allow me to pursue things I never dreamed possible. You have truly changed my life. I’m going to keep pushing hard, I’m going to keep trying to improve, I’m going to keep trying to come up with cool new content while staying true to the fun loving and carefree attitude that brought us all this far.
