[IFPNews is Iranian Private Media]
Mohammad Eslami, the director of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), on Thursday wrote a letter to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) director general, demanding the UN nuclear watchdog to inform the United Nations Security Council about dangers of possible use of nuclear weapons by the Israeli regime against the Palestinian people in Gaza.[...]
Iran’s nuclear chief categorically condemned Israel’s crimes and brutal onslaught against Gazans, demanding a firm reaction to the recent threatening statement by the illegal entity’s minister about nuking the coastal silver and reflection of its consequences to the UN Security Council. Eslami also pointed to other “similar alarming threats” made by Moshe Feiglin, a former Knesset member, and also by Tally Gotliv, a Knesset member, on social media platform X. “Needless to mention, the Israeli regime is not a party to any of the treaties governing nuclear disarmament and prohibition of the Weapons of Mass Destruction particularly NPT. This regime has prevented achieving the goal of a Middle East Nuclear Weapons Free Zone,” Eslami wrote.
“Additionally, Israel has not placed its nuclear facilities under the Agency`s safeguards regime and also it has a clandestine program to develop nuclear weapons. Therefore, the Israeli regime by undermining the internationally recognized principles directly weakens the effectiveness and efficiency of the NPT as well as the IAEA safeguards regime,” he added. The threats “revealed that the regime possesses nuclear weapons,” he said, adding that by threatening the oppressed and helpless people of Gaza, the regime has “challenged the fundamental principles of the International Humanitarian Law.”

PLEASE RAMBLE ABT THE PERIODIC TABLE
OMFG I WOULD LOVE THAT
*casually scrolls through my inbox*
*spits my coffee*
Chemistry isn't my favourite science field. In fact, I don't really like it, but it is important for other scientific fields as well, so I do have a compact knowledge about it. And since you all asked so nicely...
⚛️The periodic table of chemical elements:⚛️
Often called just the periodic table, organises all discovered chemical elements in rows (called periods) & columns (called groups) according to increasing atomic number.
An element's period number is the highest unexcited energy level for an electron of that element.
Columns help to distinguish groups in the periodic table. Elements within a group share several common properties & often have the same outer electron arrangement.
It is used to quickly refer to information about an element, like atomic mass & chemical symbol.
The periodic table’s arrangement also allows to discern trends in element properties, including electronegativity, ionization energy & atomic radius.
Dmitri Mendeleev published his first version of the periodic table in 1869, so he is often credited as the inventor.
Over 150 years of scientific development & understanding in chemistry & physics, the number of known elements as significantly risen: there are 118 known elements.
98 elements can be found in nature. The rest were artificially created.
There is a limit, though: the periodic table does not allow to have more than 137 elements since the atoms electrons would circle the nucleus faster than the speed of light (Richard Feynman predicted this).
The periodic table is considered one of the most significant achievements in the history of science.
Some interesting facts to cheer you up:
Carbon is unique in that it is known to form up to 10 million different compounds. Carbon is important to the existence of life!
Francium is the rarest element on earth. There are probably no more than a few ounces of it on earth at any given time.
Helium is the second most abundant element in the universe. Hydrogen & Helium, together make over 99% of the observable universe.
Thorium is named after the Nordic god of thunder - Thor!
Iridium is the least corrosive element: that means it is least bothered about reaction with water, acid, air or other chemicals.
The heaviest naturally occurring element is Uranium with atomic number 92 & atomic weight 238.0289.
There are only two liquid elements in the Periodic Table: Mercury & Bromine. They remain in liquid form at room temperature.
The only letter not in the periodic table is the letter J.
The country Argentina is named after the element silver (symbol Ag), which is argentum in Latin.
Although there is helium on Earth, it was first discovered by observing the sun.
The first ever discovered artificial element is called Technetium. It can be artificially produced in nuclear power stations. It is the lightest element on the table that only holds unstable radioactive isotopes.
There are around 90 metals in the periodic table. The six groups of metals are alkali metals, basic metals, alkaline earth, lanthanides, transition metals & actinides.
I thank you kindly for the sweet inbox messages about asking me to infodump. 💜🎵
I enjoy these A LOT. I get so lost in research & I do learn new things while doing so... it's refreshing!

If Y/n and Mario were in One Punch Man Book Cover
Tumblr media
This is a Book Cover of how Y/n aka SMG5, Mario and Luigi end up in the world of One Punch Man along with the Caped Baldy himself, Saitama aka One Punch Man.
How this happened is when Y/n and Mario were just hanging out until they encountered a couple of monsters that beaten them both up in a near death experience as they both tried to fight back, but they were too weak to defeat them.
However, just as they are about to die at the hands of the monsters, they were both saved by a caped baldy that take out the two monsters with just one punch.
That caused the comedic duo to train themselves to the bone by doing 100 push-ups, sit-ups, squats, and do a 10 kilometer run every single day as they both attempted to do Saitama's intense training regimen to become just as strong as him.
Eventually, the two of them managed to achieve the power they've been seeking and had become just as strong as Saitama as they both started saving people from whatever kind of threat that lurk around Creation City.
Then one day when they saved Luigi from a monster that tried to steal his stuff, Y/n and Mario saved him with their newfound strength and Luigi begged them to teach him on how to be strong like them, which took some convincing to teach him on how to be strong like them and eventually Luigi got the same treatment and became strong like them and calls himself, One Jump Man.
Then suddenly, the three of them got sucked into an inter-dimensional portal created by the Number One hero known as Blast and found themselves in the world of One Punch Man.
So then, the three of them decided to live in a separate apartment in City Z, which is right next to Saitama's Apartment and eventually the caped baldy became fast friends with the trio and worked together to fight monsters to protect the people around them and make it to the nearest sales at the supermarket.
Soon after they defeated some monsters at a place called House of Evolution and joined an organization known as the Hero Association, where they work for them to save the innocent from the wicked and perform some heroic duties to rise up to the big leagues to become S Class Heroes.
They even managed to meet other heroes in the Hero Association like Saitama's official disciple, Genos aka the Demon Cyborg, King, Flashy Flash, Child Emperor, Silver Fang, Mumen Rider, Hellish Blizzard, Terrible Tornado, Atomic Samurai, etc.
Eventually, the three of them including Saitama started taking on bigger threats like dealing with Boros the Dominator of the Universe, the Monster Association, and the Hero Hunter, Garou.
Not to mention that after gaining some popularity as heroes that somehow got the attention of other heroes like Hellish Blizzard and her group called the Blizzard Bunch that tried to get Y/n, Mario, Luigi and Saitama to join her group (reminding of a certain someone from Inkopolis that had the same motive to make Y/n and Mario join a gang because of their creative skills) or when Flashy Flash tried to asking Y/n, Mario and Saitama to look for a certain monster and become his disciple, which also resulted in slamming the door in his face and not remembering his name or when they soon found OPM versions of the Nintendo characters including a DBZ version of Shaggy that became fast friends with the gang after a fighting tournament along with dealing with a more Dangerous version of Waluigi.
What kind of adventure will the gang face off next as the Heroes that Nobody Ever Knows.
This is based on the One Punch Man Series as well as the video game, One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows and the One Punch Man Mashed Parodies, One Jump Man and One Jump Man Vs. Shaggy Ball Z.

👩🏼‍🔬
It's me! Hi! I'm the problem (too many science facts).
Since I know you like weird fish (lol), let's talk horizontal gene transfer between different fish species!
So for the uninitiated, horizontal gene transfer (HGT) is the process by which genetic information moves between members of different species by methods other than descent. It's typically associated with microbes, like the ones we study in my lab, which swap DNA back and forth via a form of conjugation (I study Archaea, they're weird). HGT makes prokaryotic evolution tricky to study; the simple definition of evolution is just "descent with modification," so what do you do in cases where there's modification without descent? (Lots of math is the answer.)
But! HGT has actually been demonstrated in other areas of the tree/web/coral of life too! Specifically, we've documented cases of different fish species swapping antifreeze genes back and forth horizontally.
So there are, broadly, five types of antifreeze proteins, each of which is very diverse. There are loads of these guys, because protein sequence space is enormous and there are usually unfathomably many molecular mechanisms by which to achieve something. Broadly, they've also evolved really fast (within the last 20 million years) in response to glaciation events, so sometimes you even get radically different antifreeze proteins in closely related fish species.
However! There are three very different, distantly related fish species (herring, rainbow smelt, and sea raven) that all encode extremely similar antifreeze proteins. They're so similar that convergent evolution just can't account for it: work the same way, unique disulfide bridge patterns, 85% amino acid identity across the board and higher in coding regions. For reference, they did a big survey of other antifreeze proteins when this was discovered (2008, I believe) and they couldn't find any homologous (related) proteins with greater than 40% amino acid identity. This was a highly conserved protein in both intron and exon regions.

These three random, unrelated fish have darn similar homologous proteins. I said in a previous post that there are more possible proteins 100 amino acids long than there are atoms in the whole universe. So what the heck?
Horizontal gene transfer, baby! Between vertebrates!
Proooooobably this happened via viral infection? But we're not totally sure yet! It's an ongoing area of research and I, for one, absolutely cannot wait to read the textbooks in another thirty or fifty years.
When I first encountered this in a class several years ago, my response was genuinely just like. It's a miracle.
See, I get why YE Creationists talk about the odds of evolution occurring via random chance so much, all those piles of silver dollars covering Texas in which you just happen to pick the right one. It's compelling, in a way: these are crazy long odds we're dealing with.
Except no! When glaciation happens and one fish has a useful antifreeze protein, and then that fish gets some weird virus and it ends up infecting other fish and altering its eggs, who now have access to that same useful antifreeze protein which keeps them alive long enough to procreate... That's providence, baby! That's God looking out for our silly little fish buddies!
AND it's the power of natural selection! Because the fish that ended up with the useful protein DOES have a reproductive advantage now! And so of course these proteins spread like crazy, of course they do! It makes a world of sense.
It's just. It's so cool dude. HGT is awesome, and I mean that in the classical sense of the word. HGT is sublime.

On Sound in Poetry
I’ve been writing monthly newsletters for poetry and fiction writers at Writers.com, and wanted to share the below from December’s newsletter with y’all ❤️
Poetry Recommendation: "The Sciences Sing a Lullaby" by Albert Goldbarth
Retrieved from Poets.org.
Physics says: go to sleep. Of course you're tired. Every atom in you has been dancing the shimmy in silver shoes nonstop from mitosis to now. Quit tapping your feet. They'll dance inside themselves without you. Go to sleep.
Geology says: it will be all right. Slow inch by inch America is giving itself to the ocean. Go to sleep. Let darkness lap at your sides. Give darkness an inch. You aren't alone. All of the continents used to be one body. You aren't alone. Go to sleep
Astronomy says: the sun will rise tomorrow, Zoology says: on rainbow-fish and lithe gazelle, Psychology says: but first it has to be night, so Biology says: the body-clocks are stopped all over town and History says: here are the blankets, layer on layer, down and down.
This delightful, imaginative poem has so much happening at both the language and structural levels. At the language level, the poem sings like a lullaby, reconfiguring the natural world as metaphors for wakefulness. Don't you just love the phrase "dancing the shimmy in silver shoes"? I can even see my genes tap dancing their way into new cells as they split down the center. And those final two lines, their cadence and rhyme, tuck me so quietly into bed, I'm about to fall asleep writing this sentence.
At the structural level, the play with the sciences both scaffolds the poem and helps connect the universal to the particular. If the poem didn't have the "[science] says" anaphora at play, the poem could still function beautifully on its own. But the poem here is making science intimate. It's saying: even something as private as falling asleep echoes throughout the sciences. It is no different than the shifting of tectonic plates, the motion of the Earth, or the circadian rhythms of fish, gazelle, and atoms inside your cells. There's something comforting about how this poem connects our lonely lives to the world around us, so much so that science, clinical and impersonal as it seems, agrees.
(Also, it's no mistake that the final "science" is actually a field in the humanities. What do you think the speaker means by equating history with science?)
Many great poems connect the personal to the universal in both linguistic and structural ways. How can you play with structure in your own poetry to achieve this? This month, try writing a poem about something outside of yourself—the sciences, the arts, smells, colors, the oceans, the gridded streets of Savannah, GA, the Fibonacci sequence, etc. Help us understand one another through something outside of, but not disconnected from, ourselves.
Notes from "Sound Clusters" by Gregory Orr
Poetry is a sonic art. We cannot expect to move or delight the reader—or ourselves!—if we aren't carefully attuned to the possibilities of sound in language. Many of the best poets use sound to replicate the topics and emotions of their poetry, and no study of verse is complete without understanding tools like consonance & assonance, euphony & cacophony, percussive consonants, sibilance, meter, rhyme, and even the effects of long versus short vowels.
Take, for example, Albert Goldbarth's poem above. The poem uses sound like a lullaby does, with sounds that shush, soothe, slow, lilt, and murmur. Few words, if any, in the poem are loud and percussive. There's no cracking, no explosive plosive, no whips or pows or words that strike the reader.
Conversely, take this excerpt from “Rime of the Ancient Mariner” by Samuel Taylor Coleridge:
With throats unslaked, with black lips baked, agape they heard me call.
This is an example of cacophony—notice all the hard k and g sounds jostling against one another. The effect is language that's deliberately loud and in your face. Lyrical, certainly, though not altogether pleasant.
Attunement to language's sounds and possibilities is a lifelong study for any poet. A great place to start is to read poetry aloud. Words spoken only in our heads lack dimension: they have no shape, no space, no material reality. When we speak a poem, we slow ourselves down, allowing language to occupy our bodies, to be felt where we need to feel it.
Here's Gregory Orr's essay, which includes a craft exercise for all poets: https://www.pw.org/content/sound_clusters

Monatomic Gold? Know more about Ormus
Monoatomic Gold, otherwise known as ORMUS, Manna, Philosophers Stone or MFKTZ.
Metallic gold in its normal structure is made of large clusters of gold iotas latticed together. In metallic structure, the latticed particles are bigger than the openings to our cells, and if we consume it, the gold passes directly through our body. Producers of Monatomic Gold utilise an alchemical process to break down the atoms into a singular atomic structure. It changes the metal into a fine white powder which is then permeable to our bodies’ cells creating superconductivity. This means the cells can communicate with no net loss of energy. Creating faster healing and rejuvenation. Gold has also been known for its anti-inflammatory properties. Gold has been recently leading cancer studies.
Monatomic Gold was additionally the Manna that Hebrews received and ate while banished in the desert for a considerable length of time that was mentioned in the Bible. Manna or Monatomic Gold, or (ORME) was also used in ancient Egyptian cakes in the form of conical shapes otherwise known as MFKTZ.
Tumblr media
It is exceptionally clear now that Akhenaten (Moses) utilised white powder (Monatomic Gold) for melting down a golden calf and feeding it to the Israelites. This is the information that was hidden away in Solomon's sanctuary, it is the thinker's stone and the Ark of Covenant also was known to have had white powder Monatomic Gold in it.
The ancient Egyptian believed it created longevity and would take one to higher spiritual consciousness.
Our bodies depend on minerals to assist with sending nerve motivations, keep a sound framework, and give energy to organic cycles through the trading of electrons.
Luckily for us, plants ingest minerals from dirt and water. They channel the smallest particles and convey ideal measures of absorbable minerals for our ideal well-being. Ormus is in all parts of nature, water soil and plants and edibles and even 5% are found in the human body.
Ormus gold  or Monatomic Gold is an alkaline substance that when taken has shown under the microscope has rounded the red blood cells and increased the separation between other cells showing a healthier sign of structure. Also has been proven to increase the temperature of the skin and increase one's aura.
Ormus is the force to be reckoned with of heavenly regular energy. It has been known to have super-improving impacts on the cerebrum, psyche, DNA, and soul. It is a definitive instrument for rising.
The mystery of the long-life expectancy of Anunnaki is additionally said to lie with Ormus, as the Annunaki had a high value for mining Gold.
Male and female energy additionally benefits from it. Join with colloidal silver or colloidal gold with its medicinal properties and the monatomic elements like copper, gold, and Iridium, platinum for well-being.
Benefits include balanced correspondence between the right and left cerebrum of the brain., improving creativity, cognitive function, data, processing, information, and memory. Accordingly, helps in drawing an obvious conclusion, building mind power and achieving actual wellbeing. A possible outcome is the breaking of chains and fulfilment of opportunity, as our brain, body, and soul get the ability to boost power.
The information about Monatomic Gold has been smothered for many centuries hidden in codes, ancient tablets and texts from the ancient alchemist to protect this precious substance that was once only fed to the high priestess and Pharos of Egypt.
It is made from many methods some using Dead Sea salt and also seawater. Strict measures are taken to abide by the true alchemical process to ensure its potent properties. For example, safe gathering methods from the ocean to ensure only the purest seawater is procured, and glacier water with the highest contents of Ormus. Perfect PH levels for the monatomic elements to be obtained. Made on a full moon and rising tides when the earth's energy is at its highest peak, washing the Ormus to remove excess salt produces the prime White Powder Gold with levitational properties.
Ormus is a natural and organic substance that has proven many benefits since the rise of Egypt. Its rise in today’s age is of utmost interest now civilisation has rediscovered its power.

A new ion trap for larger quantum computers - Technology Org

A new ion trap for larger quantum computers - Technology Org
Researchers at ETH have managed to trap ions using static electric and magnetic fields and to perform quantum operations on them. In the future such traps could be used to realize quantum computers with far more quantum bits than have been possible up to now.

The energy states of electrons in an atom follow the laws of quantum mechanics: they are not continuously distributed but restricted to certain well-defined values – this is also called quantisation. Such quantised states are the basis for quantum bits (qubits), with which scientists want to build extremely powerful quantum computers. To that end, the atoms have to be cooled down and trapped in one place.
Strong trapping can be achieved by ionising the atoms, which means giving them an electric charge. However, a fundamental law of electromagnetism states that electric fields that are constant in time cannot trap a single charged particle. By adding an oscillating electromagnetic field, on the other hand, one obtains a stable ion trap, also known as a Paul trap.
In this way, it has been possible in recent years to build quantum computers with ion traps containing around 30 qubits. Much larger quantum computers, however, cannot straightforwardly be realised with this technique. The oscillating fields make it difficult to combine several such traps on a single chip, and using them heats up the trap – a more significant problem as systems get larger. Meanwhile transport of ions is restricted to pass along linear sections connected by crosses.
Ion trap with a magnetic field
A team of researchers at ETH Zurich led by Jonathan Home has now demonstrated that ion traps suitable for use in quantum computers can also be built using static magnetic fields instead of oscillating fields. In those static traps with an additional magnetic field, called Penning traps, both arbitrary transport and the necessary operations for the future super-computers were realized. The researchers recently published their results in the scientific journal Nature.
Schematic showing the middle section of the used Penning trap. An ion (red) is trapped through a combination of an electric field produced by different electrodes (yellow) and a magnetic field. Image credit: ETH Zürich / Institute for Quantum Electronics
“Traditionally, Penning traps are used when one wants to trap very many ions for precision experiments, but without having to control them individually”, says PhD student Shreyans Jain: “By contrast, in the smaller quantum computers based on ions, Paul traps are used.”
The idea of the ETH researchers to build future quantum computers also using Penning traps was initially met with scepticism by their colleagues. For various reasons: Penning traps require extremely strong magnets, which are very expensive and rather bulky. Also, all previous realizations of Penning traps had been very symmetric, something that the chip-scale structures used at ETH violate. Putting the experiment inside a large magnet makes it difficult to guide the laser beams necessary for controlling the qubits into the trap, while strong magnetic fields increase the spacing between the energy states of the qubits. This, in turn, makes the control laser systems much more complex: instead of a simple diode laser, several phase-locked lasers are needed.
Transport in arbitrary directions
Home and his collaborators were not deterred by those difficulties, however, and constructed a Penning trap based on a superconducting magnet and a microfabricated chip with several electrodes, which was produced at the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt in Braunschweig. The magnet used delivers a field of 3 Tesla, almost 100’000 times stronger than Earth’s magnetic field. Using a system of cryogenically cooled mirrors, the Zurich researchers managed to channel the necessary laser light through the magnet to the ions.
Moving a single trapped ion in a two-dimensional plane and illuminating it with a laser beam allows the researchers to create the ETH logo. The image is formed averaging over many repetitions of the transport sequence. Image credit: ETH Zurich / Institute for Quantum Electronics
The efforts paid off: a single trapped ion, which can stay in the trap for several days, could now be moved arbitrarily on the chip, connecting points “as the crow flies” by controlling the different electrodes – this is something not previously possible with the old approach based on oscillating fields. Since no oscillating fields are needed for trapping, many of those traps can be packed onto a single chip. “Once they are charged up, we can even completely isolate the electrodes from the outside world and thus investigate how strongly the ions are disturbed by external influences”, says Tobias Sägesser, who was involved in the experiment as a PhD student.
Coherent control of the qubit
The researchers also demonstrated that the qubit energy states of the trapped ion could also be controlled while maintaining quantum mechanical superpositions. Coherent control worked both with the electronic (internal) states of the ion and the (external) quantised oscillation states as well as for coupling the internal and external quantum states. This latter is a prerequisite for creating entangled states, which are important for quantum computers.
As a next step, Home wants to trap two ions in neighbouring Penning traps on the same chip and thus demonstrate that quantum operations with several qubits can also be performed. This would be the definitive proof that quantum computers can be realized using ions in Penning traps. The professor also has other applications in mind. For instance, since the ions in the new trap can be moved flexibly, they can be used to probe electric, magnetic or microwave fields near surfaces. This opens up the possibility to use these systems as atomic sensors of surface properties.

THE GOD MEMORANDUM
TO : YOU
FROM : GOD
Is your blood poisoned? Is it diluted with water and pus? No. Within your five quarts of blood are twenty -two trillion blood cells and within each cells are millions of molecules and within each molecules is an atom oscillating at more than ten million times each second. Each second, two millions of your blood cells die to be replaced by two million more in a resurrection that has continued since your first birth. As it has always been inside, so now it is on your outside. Count another blessing.
Tumblr media
1V.
Are you feeble of mind? Can you no longer think for yourself?
No. Your brain is the most complex structure in the Universe. I know. Within its three pounds are thirteen billion nerve cells, more than three times as many cells as there are people on your Earth. To help you file away every perception, every sound, every taste, every smell, every action you have experienced since the day of your birth. I have implanted, within your cells, more than one thousand billion billion protein molecules. Every incident in your life is there waiting only your recall. And, to assist your brain in the control of your body I have dispersed throughout your form four million pain-sensitive structures, five hundred thousand touch detectors, and more than two hundred thousand temperature detectors. No Nations gold is better protected than you. None of your ancient wonders are greater than you. You are my finest creation.
Within you is enough atomic energy to destroy any of the World's great cities ... and rebuild it.
Are you poor? Is there no gold or silver in your purse? No. You are rich! Together we have just counted your wealth. Study the list. Count them again. Tally your assets!
Why have you betrayed yourself? Why have you cried that all the blessings of humanity were removed from you? Why did you decieve yourself that you were powerless to change your life? Are you without talent, sense, abilities, pleasures, instincts, sensations and pride? Are you without hope? Why do you cringe in the shadows, a giant defeated, awaiting only sympathetic transport into the welcome void and dampness of hell?
You have so much. Your blessings overflow your cup ... and you have been unmindful of them, like a child spoiled in luxury, since I have bestowed them upon you with generosity and regularity. Answer me. Answer yourself.
What rich man, old and sick, feeble and helpless, would not exchange all the gold in his vault for the blessings you have treated so lightly. Know then the first secret to happiness and Success--- that you possess, even now, every blessings necessary to achieve great glory. 'In filmmaking there’s a fine line between elegance and pretension, and Christopher Nolan, a citizen of both nations, criss-crosses the border freely. His dedication to craft is always right there on the screen, even in films you may not like; for better or worse, you can usually feel the thought vibrations that went into his decisions about where to put the camera, or how to move the actors around. He knows his stuff, and he makes sure we know that he knows. His expertise gleams like a family crest, looking great when it’s discreetly stamped on a piece of silver, though you really wouldn’t want it on a beach towel.
There may be times in Oppenheimer when you look at the screen and think, Oh brother! as Nolan razzle-dazzles us with impressionistic inset shots of psychotically whirling stars and billowing plumes of what looks like molten lava, all while the lead character expounds in voiceover on the nature of matter, the universe, and other stuff. But either despite its intense craft or because of it, Oppenheimer works. In telling the story of genius theoretical physicist and atomic-bomb architect J. Robert Oppenheimer—played, with an almost otherworldly luminosity, by Cillian Murphy—Nolan blurs the distinction between grandeur and grandiosity. Both his subject and his lead actor can stand up to the outsize scale of his approach, so why shouldn’t he go for broke? So few filmmakers know how to make, or are able to make, pictures this big, about grown-up subjects. Nolan shapes Oppenheimer’s story into something like an epic poem, focusing not just on his most famous achievement, but on everything that happened to him afterward; Nolan is maybe even more interested in Oppenheimer as a complicated, questioning patriot.
As you know if you’ve seen even just one Nolan film—it could be Memento, or Interstellar—he likes to scramble the signals in his storytelling. Oppenheimer is a story told in dots and dashes, demanding that you keep up with its shifts in time and space. But even if you know nothing about Oppenheimer’s story, following along is not that hard—Nolan pulls it all together at the end, and from that vantage point, the landscape of where he’s taken us looks pretty grand. We get some background on Oppenheimer’s time as a young student at Cambridge, homesick for America (he was born in New York) and tormented, as he tells us in those voiceovers, by the secrets of an “alien universe.” (Here’s where those visions of blasting stars and looping ribbons of light, accompanied by jarring, staticky noises, come in.) An early encounter with one of his heroes, Danish physicist Niels Bohr (a half-jaunty, half-regal Kenneth Branagh), recalibrates his thinking. He goes to museums, stares at paintings by Braque and Picasso, and something clicks. The music of the universe begins to make more sense. Oppenheimer begins to think and feel more furiously. There’s some writing on a chalkboard—in scientist movies, there always is—but Nolan uses the conceit sparingly and with some delicacy. He knows, as we do, that the scritch of chalk is a lot more romantic than the squeak of a Dry Erase marker.
Nolan toggles between the distant past and the less-distant past, shifting between black-and-white film stock to muted color as he focuses on three central episodes in Oppenheimer’s story. (The movie’s source is Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin’s 2006 biography American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer.) One of these is the 1954 hearing that ultimately led to the revocation of Oppenheimer’s security clearance, ending his career in government and eroding his status as an academic. Jason Clarke’s Roger Robb oversees the proceedings, wearing a carved-stone face that’s decided “guilty” long before he’s even heard any of Oppenheimer’s own testimony, or that of his witnesses.
The problem was that after Oppenheimer had pulled off the achievement, both extraordinary and tragic, of developing the bomb that would end World War II, his government, which no longer really needed him, decided it was time to question his loyalty—though the FBI had already been dogging him for years, collecting possible evidence against him. After the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Oppenheimer had also expressed moral qualms about the horrors that he’d helped unleash upon the world, and worried about the misuse of nuclear weapons in the future. Nolan balances that 1954 security hearing with another set of hearings before the Senate, convened to confirm—or not, as it turned out—Lewis Strauss (Robert Downey Jr.), a founding member of the Atomic Energy Commission, to the position of Secretary of Commerce under Dwight D. Eisenhower. Downey’s performance, equal parts subtly scented aftershave and snake oil, is a double-dealing marvel.
By now, you may have figured that there a lot of men swirling around Oppenheimer, and we haven’t even gotten to the sections of the movie set in Los Alamos, where Oppenheimer led a team of scientists in the top-secret activities of the Manhattan Project. (They’re played by actors including, but not limited to, Benny Safdie, David Krumholtz, and Josh Harnett, plus the sole woman, Olivia Thirlby.) When they test their super-duper bomb in the desert, they put on little goggles and avert their eyes during the blast—their self-protective measures are both comical and horrifying.
There’s a lot going on in Oppenheimer, and it can leave your brain a little scrambled. But Nolan never loses sight of Oppenheimer the man. We get a sense of Oppenheimer’s early adjacency to the Communist Party (though he never officially joined), another convenient strike against him during that 1954 hearing. There’s also a grievous and, for Oppenheimer, heartbreaking affair with a 1930s cool-girl party member, Jean Tatlock (Florence Pugh)—the love scenes between the two involve some tastefully lit but not-unaffecting nudity, as well as the reading of Sanskrit. (Always interesting to imagine how great scientists do it.)
Nolan is working with so many moving parts here that it would be logical to wonder: does Murphy, his star, even get enough screen time? But Nolan ensures that the movie belongs to him. It’s a wonderful performance, somber without being deadening, and ultimately haunting. What’s it like to be married to a hot genius? (One of the accusations often flung at Oppenheimer was that he was a “womanizer,” though that word has differing meanings depending on who’s applying them, and how.) Emily Blunt gives us a sense of that in her portrayal of Oppenheimer’s wife, Kitty, also the mother of his two children. There’s no single scene that brings this complex and not particularly blissful marriage to life; it’s only late in the film, when Oppenheimer asserts that these two have “walked through fire” together, that you get a sense of the ironclad bond between them. Murphy doesn’t play Oppenheimer as the distracted-genius husband; it’s more that he accepts that his life must unfold on numerous shifting planes, each distinct from but affecting the others. You can’t apply quantum mechanics to human behavior.
Most important of all, Nolan doesn’t disguise or downplay his sympathy for Oppenheimer the man and the scientist. In that sense, his movie is bracingly honest. He also doesn’t try to oversimplify Oppenheimer’s crises of conscience—they were anything but simple, as Nolan and Murphy show in several scenes underscoring the fact that World War II had to end sooner rather than later, to save the lives of both American and Japanese troops—the casualties on both sides were mounting astronomically day by day and week by week. Yet how could anyone involved in the creation of that bomb not question his or her role after the fact, especially with the benefit of hindsight? Murphy, like Oppenheimer, has a frame that looks to be built from matchsticks, almost too fragile-seeming to support that big brain on top. And his skin has a papery, translucent quality; there are moments when you feel you can almost see his nerve endings quivering beneath. That’s acting for the big screen. And it’s what a great actor can do when a filmmaker hands him a very big story, played out on a canvas designed for great leaps of imagination.'

If I’m allowed to discuss more about my lore and my eventual stars rewrite:
Continuing on with Moonlight’s Dominance.
To reiterate:
Moonlight’s Dominance is the culmination of three Sailor Senshi combining their strengths and absorbing its radiance to mimic the full, limitless might of the Silver Crystal itself.
It is only capable if those three Senshi are in perfect spiritual, physical, and emotional harmony. The purifying, destructive strength of this technique is thought to rival the Big Bang, the cosmic event that birthed our universe.
It’s existence was hidden by Queen Serenity in the Mythical Era/Silver Millennium and deemed forbidden. All traces, artifacts, temples, and scriptures on the ancient technique were abolished and eradicated.
The knowledge of Moonlight’s Dominance continues only with the memories and teachings of Lunarian Royals and legends. Who are currently Usagi Tsukino-Meioh, Usagi "Small Lady/ChibiUsa" Serenity and Setsuna "Dark Lady/ChibiSetsa" Serenity. Even Setsuna who presides over the dead, darkness, and time has had mental blocks placed upon her memory, meaning any attempts to gaze into the past for recollection will lead to dead ends.
Being the leader of her own personal guard, ChibiUsa/Sailor Chibi Moon bestowed the knowledge of Moonlight’s Dominance upon Sailor Ceres/CereCere. For there will come a time where it’s strength will prove invaluable to the safety of this beautiful universe overflowing with life.
Performing the technique requires the use of three specific poses, embodying the aspects of the Moon: Love, Purity, and Justice.
The Senshi on the left is responsible for conducting the Love Pose. The Love Pose is done by forming one’s hands into a heart shape, rearing their arms back and standing in a perfect tiger stance.
The Senshi on the right is responsible for conducting the Purity Pose. The Purity Pose is accomplished through standing adjacent to the Senshi on the left, clasping one’s hands into a prayer motion and placing them upon your lips, once again standing in a perfect tiger stance.
The Senshi in the middle is responsible for performing the Justice Pose. The Justice Pose is achieved by kneeling/crouching between the other two Senshi, jutting her hands forwards and forming a clamp jaw in an agape form.
In perfect conjunction the trio will begin absorbing an infinite amount of the moon’s healing, empowering rays within themselves building up until the three burst with its energy, concentrating it into a single point on the atomic level… before releasing it with righteous fury. A risky, but rewarding endeavor that will defeat any darkness.

An Overview of the Gel Documentation System
A gel documentation framework, likewise called Gel Doc, Gel Picture Framework, or Gel Imager, is utilized in sub-atomic science labs for imaging and documentation of proteins suspended inside polyacrylamide or agarose gels and nucleic acids. The gel is stained with ethidium bromide or different types of nucleic acids such as SYBRTM Gold, SYBRTM Green, SYBRTM Safe, Gel StarTM, Texas Red, Fluorescein for DNA/RNA location, and Coomassie Splendid Blue, Silver Staining, SyproTM Red, SyproTM Orange, Pro-QDiamond, Deep Purple for Protein Discovery. The gel documentation incorporates an UV light transilluminator and a hood that functions as a darkroom, shielding the client from UV exposure.
The pictures are caught by the CCD camera. High-level, low-light cameras are likewise being integrated into the framework for intense accuracy. Cooled cameras permit longer openness, preventing sensor overheating. These produce faint groups and spots in gel pictures that would ordinarily escape the unaided eye. Highlights like fluorescence and chemiluminescence at cooling camera temperatures of -28 to -60 °C are greatly liked. Moment printing and Wi-Fi control for cell phone or tablet tasks are also supported in modern applications.
What is the guideline for gel documentation?
A fluorescent substance bound to nucleic corrosion is set off by bright illumination, making it discharge glaring light. Ethidium bromide is related to the nucleic corrosive. The sub-atomic weight and the convergence of the nucleic corrosive decide their holding, with a larger atomic weight resulting in a more brilliant sparkle, while a smaller atomic weight results in a more vulnerable sparkle.
Tumblr media
What are the uses of the Framework?
The framework is intended for critical use in academics, research, and business lab research that require less expensive equipment that achieves greater effectiveness. Generally liked by pharma labs, they are furnished with numerous client accounts alongside access consent, directed security, and a controlled workplace. The Uv Gel Documentation System can uphold normal protein gel strains and normal DNA that fluctuate from Coomassie to Bio-Rad Strain-Allowed to silver stains alongside blue volatile stains. The framework recognizes immunoassay, compound protein recognition, post-translational change portrayal, and 2D electrophoresis protein quantitation, as well as affinities of monoclonal and polyclonal immunizer restricting, smear and gel imaging, state distinguishing proof.
What makes the GelDoc framework a favored decision?
The framework is available in a reduced size that takes up the least amount of lab space. Its effectiveness is exceptionally adjusted for the work process it upholds. There is no apprehension about example spillage with its picture-perfect procedure, and its minimization adds to the simplicity of work. The framework has been given instinctive application-driven programming, which can assist researchers in narrowing down their trials and allowing innovation to take care of itself. The advanced pictures can be traded effectively through USB drives. Geldoc's innovation is feasible with sans-strain technology, which distinguishes proteins without staining step partition. A total imaged catalog is led for no stain gels, fewer reagents, and, if time permits, greater prominence in the wet work process.
What are the various parts of the Gel Doc framework?
UV Illumination source
The transilluminator is the light source that detects the DNA groups. In the most recent innovation, ethidium bromide is used as a fluorescent example label obtained from agarose gel electrophoresis. Assuming there is no activity at the source, the programmed shut-off clock actuates. The gear further down the line does not require UV light warming and operates on momentary exchange. The white light-driven option gives appropriate power a wellbeing cutoff that keeps the example and administrators safe. The fluorescent labels should be compared to the lighting source because it offers cost savings without sacrificing execution.
Base Plate
An example plate that holds the gel for examination and has a dark, non-receptive surface
Hood
acts as a darkroom to keep the client safe. Especially useful for fluorescence, chemiluminescence, and visible light applications. The automatic door lock prevents overexposure to radiation and captures images. The overlay-down and side-to-side entryways offer the least obstacles.
The imaging framework
A high-res camera with a camera regulator and printer of 104 MP to 8.3 MP with a CCD (charge-coupled device) camera and flatbed scanner with a PC-controlled, engine-driven focal point, self-adjusting, following vertical and descending example development consequently. Pictures are caught with a camera over the hood. The camera is equipped with photon signal transformation, offering profound cooling innovation with a wide focal point gap that boosts light responsiveness.
PC controlled
A touch screen and a regular screen are included, as well as built-in software for image enhancement, examination, and acquisition. Picture alteration is likewise conceivable. It can peruse colorimetry, gels, western smudges, plants, attention plates, province blotches, fluorescent colors, and infrared colors. The framework can create synchronous imaging of smears and gels for gel-to-gel correlation. The hard circle drive can store massive amounts of data. Enormous amounts of information can be shared through Wi-Fi or Ethernet association right away, and it can be presented in an easy-to-understand window rendition.
