SPOTTED: Newly arrived violinist Little E in the arms and lips of Del Sol Valley’s resident rock star, Thorne Bailey. With his recent social media scandal putting him in hot water with the public, you’d think he’d turn the heat down to get back in its good graces. Take his wife, Octavia, on a much-deserved date or his son out of the trashy indie projects he’s been picking lately to escape his father’s shadow. Instead, he sneakily took the redhead to his private floor of the Orchid A Go Go and, according to eyewitnesses, “couldn’t keep his hands off her.” She certainly wasn’t complaining when she took him home to her humble abode just shy of 1 AM. Sources say he left almost 8 AM after their rendezvous. Be careful, Little E. It seems like the stage is one of many places where you know how to perform. Don’t want to start your career on the wrong note, do you?

Wanted to do a little more of my favorite styles. Which I haven't been because some people don't like them, but I'm like F* it. LOL, This is Luna, my little spell caster. Freaking love this girl!

I wanted to record the making of her, but it got messed up. So here she is, the beautiful Ms. Hadley. She's so pretty, and I love her so much!

And then 6 AM rolled around, and Harvestfest officially began! With a Grim Reaper gnome appearing on the porch. O.o That felt -- ominous. I had Alice go say hello and attempt to appease it with a cup of coffee, only for the Gnome Reaper to cruelly reject her offering. Fortunately, her desperate pleading afterward touched its heart, and it consented to be a nice gnome instead of a mean one. Whew -- a narrow escape there!

With the holiday now properly in play, it was time to start fulfilling traditions -- and Smiler, as always, was on top of the decorations! I kept it pretty simple with some seasonally-appropriate lights and banners, but it did make the place look good. Smiler then headed out to tend the farm animals (as Victor was still stuck tending and harvesting all his crops in the greenhouse) -- Moory still wasn't a fan of their jokes, but consented to be milked, while the chickens seemed fairly neutral on Smiler's existence. -.- At least Shadow still loves them! Anyway, Smiler spread some chicken feed and collected some eggs to go with the milk (two regular eggs, one hatchable one -- I put that one back to incubate now that we have some room in the coop), then went to the greenhouse to find a gnome to appease --

Only to have to backtrack to the barn because suddenly the gnome party moved right outside the double doors. *grumble* Darn teleporting little fuckers... Fortunately, it wasn't a long walk back, and Smiler is an old hand at appeasing gnomes now -- a future cube offered to the alien gnome, and they were in the clear for THAT tradition! That just left Victor to go, but that poor guy was a little more desperate for a bathroom break and some food after FINALLY finishing up in his greenhouse...

Hey so I know that I uhhh said I would queue more posts but!! I got really into Fallout 4, and then I had some stuff to edit but lost the USB all my editing tools and stuff are on so?? Sims Debate

Please tell me ur thoughts on the sims series. Which one is better Sims 1, 2, 3, or 4. Personally I love the Sims 2 the most due to me playing it so much from 2012-2018 but I also used to binge play Sims 3. Sims 3 is amazing but the lag truly kills me. Sims 4 is okay but I’ve come to learn that I cant even play for more than 20 mins. Sims 2 is my go to seeing as there’s so many little details and cute cutscenes. What about you? Can someone tell me if they think sims 4 is better and why. I’m very curious

Update on The Sims

SimCommunity recently posted job listings for positions at EA regarding The Sims products. This includes positions that are aimed at the production of yet-to-be-announced PC Sims PC titles. If this were true, I’d be thrilled (if the game were much higher quality than recent titles). However, that’s not what I’m here to talk about. I’m here to talk about some of the recent... troubling things said by simmers.

Now let me be the first to say that I love the community but I think that anybody who has either been active in the community or a lurker can tell you that things can, and will, get ugly.

While I get that people are less than thrilled about the possibility of the franchise being either over or in decline, I have an issue with this attitude by diehard stans. While EA’s behavior is outside of our control, those of you who seem to think that the firing of veterans is “a good thing” is frankly disgusting. 

While recent past events such as the firing of SimGuruDrake was necessary due to the fact that it was the result of her basically insulting people on Twitter. This was a much different circumstance. This recent round of firings wasn’t just a step on the road to making the franchise great again, by EA’s own admission this was due to “budget cuts”. These were people who had been working at EA for more than two decades in some cases. And while I understand that’s how business works I really don’t like how some people in the community seem to think that someone losing their livelihood is perfectly fine because “Well, at least I’ll still get my Sims games.”

While this news may mean that there is indeed a TS5 (Which I highly doubt, I’m guessing that EA isn’t denying the existence because they bet that many Simmers will stay on board with buying products if it means the possibility of a new basegame) that certainly doesn’t mean that it will be good.

And again, quite honestly, the fact that some of you are so willing to shit all over producers for a game you claim to “love” if it means that you can keep paying triple the price for half the content and the promise of something better makes you look not only naive but heartless. Those games that you want so badly were created by people who have been making games you’ve loved for years. Now suddenly they’re the problem and NOT EA? These aren’t people who manage the franchise mind you, these are people that create the content of The Sims. These are people who are more or less at the mercy of EA if Jace Wallace, former Sim Studio employee, is to be believed.

If you want to talk about anxiety, think about SimGuruDaniel who’s worked at the same company on The Sims for more than twenty years and has recently been told that he’s no longer working there. To add insult to injury, some of the community sees this as “a good thing”? I can assure you, SimGuruDaniel’s departure isn’t going to fix much bigger issues at EA. I’m sorry but your entitlement to an endless amount of Sims games that are RAPIDLY degrading in quality at the expense of the game's creators is a problem.

In closing, I’d like to share something I heard recently from a friend of SimGuruKate’s and moderator at ModTheSims.

Here’s to hoping that if there is a TS5, you’ll treat the team more like people and less like machines constantly churning out games, and hopefully for their sake, there never will be.

The Sims 4 Consoles: New Soundtrack Coming and Adding Gallery is Possible

The SimCommunity reports: The Sims 4 Console version seems to have one more difference from The Sims 4 PC version.

Michael Duke, a producer for The Sims 4 Console has confirmed that there’s going to be new soundtrack coming to The Sims 4 Console.

We have yet to find out which soundtrack will make its way to The Sims 4 Console as well as does The Sims Team plan to add such soundtrack to the PC version.

We have the pc music plus a few new ones for the console release

The SimCommunity also reports:  The Gallery is one of the biggest features in The Sims 4 for PC and the announcement that it won’t be available in the final version of The Sims 4 Console was hard to swallow.

However, SimGuruDuke wanted to reassure that, just like the PC version, The Sims 4 for Consoles is also treated as live service, meaning that the game will get content updates and bug fixes regularly.

He didn’t want to say anything if The Gallery feature for Consoles is being worked on right now but he assured that adding it to The Sims 4 Console “is possible”.

It is a live service like the PC. So, yes, it is possible but there are no plans I can confirm
