[DOWNLOAD] 3t2 Benvenuto Mailbox Cover from Monte Vista (3 swatches) - UPDATED 07/02/2024

Instead of Default Replacement I have always preferred to use cover for mailboxes, because all my saves and neighborhoods have different themes and it would be annoying to change my defaults every time I change save, so for a long time I used these mailbox covers but… something was missing!

I always used Windenburg mailbox for Veronaville Capp side but…it wasn't suitable for the Monty side too! So I decided to do this conversion!

I removed the cover door so as to make it easy to click on the real mailbox (I also removed the red thing sims pull down and up because sims don't use that anyway, it wasn't animated, they use the one of the real mailbox. Sorry, I don't know how it's called, in Italy we don't have these mailboxes…)

What you need to make this work properly:

An invisible recolor for the real mailbox (Otherwise the real mailbox can be seen through the cover. I recommend using it to make the base invisible. You can, for example, use this one.)

Moveobjects and SnapObjects cheats to position it well (I recommend leaving the real mailbox a little further outside the cover otherwise you will have difficulty clicking it).

To do this conversion I used the Venus statue, so it is Base Game compatible!

I'm about to jump into my legacy again, and one of the things I needed to do was to make some deco sims to fill my teens high schools with! So voila! I was INSPIRED when making these and I think they might be my best. :3

Nasi Ikan Jimbaran, on this menu featuring ikan kembung, which is grilled Rastrelliger mackerel with sambal matah and rice. Jimbaran is name of popular beach in Kuta Selatan, Bali, Indonesia, as place to eat with romantic settings.  

Bali is name of island and province of Indonesia, located in Southeast Asia.

ShinoKCR Art Deco Dining - 4t3 conversion

(the new one, not the one that already has a TS3 version)

Was searching for new Buy Mode to convert, then I remembered there was still some ShinoKCR I wanted to convert :P And I like her Art deco stuff because it's way closer to 1920s-1930s than most TS4 stuff. Don't get me wrong, Neo Deco is amazing, but sometimes you want the period stuff! Took a while because almost all the multipliers in this set were re-baked - only the ceiling lamp, the place set and the dog sculpture aren't - because ShinoKCR loved to add legit TS3 patterns on her stuff and I was matching swatches with her older TS3 stuff :x But on the other hand that means that all the pretty colorful details in the crockery ARE ON THE MASK.

Which means you can recolor them to a plain version without multiplier noise/shading 8DDDD

Only the dog sculpture and the flowers aren't recolorable, all the rest have 2-4 channels.

Flowers are around 1.6k because I had to double-side the mesh, the chair is around 1.3k, all the rest is lower.

Place set comes with the glass and silverware, doesn't occupy a slot in the dining table but has a deco slot. Plate and saucer also have one slot each.

The ceiling lamp is medium height ONLY - there IS a short one, but it comes with the TS4 version of the study and I need to check which objects are redundant with the TS3 version to avoid duplicates. It's definitely on my plans though :x

Now this is done, I'm going to update all my mods/cc so I can play the game and eventually do small cc requests. I haven't even played with infants yet :S I want to make cc for them and the babies so badly, maybe this can be the next concept. Hi everyone!

My new Cypress bathroom set is finally here! The set contains 23 new meshes, including lot of vanity counter variations, without and without sinks, wall cabinets. You will also find a vanity stool, a bathtub, some really chunky marble door frames (perfect for wet rooms & showers), towel racks, a mirror with a really cute foggy swatch & wall lights. I also made a fake marble half wall, you can add it right behind the vanity counters & use it as a small shelf.

Please note that this set is NOT meant to be a kitchen counter set, all surfaces are made separately, they have different width to maximize customizability & are all functional as surfaces (not kitchen counters). You can place them easily and seamlessly by having the cheat "bb.moveobjects" enabled in game & ALT key.

I focused a lot on bigger pieces this month but used a lot of my other set's clutter objects for the previews. All the cc used in the pictures is mine, except the windows. The windows are from the Soho set, by Felixandre. In regards of my cc, I used a lot of clutter from my previous bathroom sets (Lombok, Amed, Isla, & Ungasan).

Creating a custom 'hood and releasing it for download is not hard and not a big deal at all, but since I was doing it for the very first time, of course it wasn't all smooth sailing- hence the wait. I had to recreate it 3 times lmao, due to not knowing all the facts (silly me) but it was all in good fun honestly and I'm super happy it's finally shareable! 🐸

Sooo, this 'hood is completely clean, no characters and no stealth 'hoods or anything. It was created using the Baskerville terrain which, of course, is included. You can play it using your own defaults, but here are the ones I use that you can see in the preview pics:

The folder with the 'hood (N025) goes to your 'Neighborhoods' folder in the Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection (or just The Sims 2)/Neighborhoods 🐛 I debated whether I should include a folder with all the custom neighborhood deco you need, but I figured that probably most of you already have all the CC needed since the buildings and houses I used have been in the community for years! So instead I have made a CC list (under the cut) so you can easily download and/or check if you already have the needed deco. 🦓

There is also a folder with 10 residential lots created just for this 'hood to match its vibe and the aesthetic.
