I'm super excited to bring you the second part of the Besties series, now focusing on our beloved feline friends! In the first part, I shared with you guys a collection all about the beautiful bond between dogs and babies. For this second part, I thought I’d switch things up a bit. Instead of focusing on cats and babies, I wanted to highlight something just as heartwarming—the special relationship between cats and adults. author’s note: english is not my first language! this fic has some portuguese lines but i translated everything!

warnings: none! pure fluff. reader’s gender is unspecified. reader have a great relationship with their entire family. aunts drooling over abby. abby and reader are truly in love.

“relax baby” you looked at abby one more time before press the doorbell, she was sweating so much you could see the little drops on her neck, “they’ll love you” you assured her and right after your mom opened the door. “oi meu bem! que saudades” (hi my love! i missed you), you hugged her with so much joy, the last time you have seen her it was 4 years ago, before you legally moved to usa, “essa é a abby? meu deus ela é muito grande!” (this is abby? oh my good she’s so big!) you laughed and nodded, “sim mãe, ela é a minha namorada” (yes mom, she is my girlfriend), your mom hugged abby and said with a strong accent “you’re so pretty! my daughter really have taste”, abby instantly felt relieved and a smile emerged on her beautiful face.

when you both got inside the pagode was loud, the smell of meat and garlic bread filled your nostrils, and your cousins laughs were loud with pure joy, you felt in home. it’s not like you didn’t have one, but nothing else compares to that, to speak your mother tongue, to eat traditional foods, to feel the brazilian weather, to see your family members being so receptive with the other family you have, abby.

“meu senhor ela é a porra de tanque de guerra” (oh my lord she is a fucking war tank) your uncle said giggling, already a little drunk, and hugged both of you, “vocês formam um casal lindo” (you make such a pretty couple). you were so happy, after many years of being away of your family you were back! and without any fights about how chose to live your life, abby noticed how you haven’t stopped smiling since the arrival, she was so anxious but she finally realized how much this means to you, to show her yours roots, the people that raised you, the house you lived for your whole childhood, you were showing your world to her, the most precious thing you have.

then it happened, you left abby alone for only 6 minutes to go to the bathroom and when you came back to the living room she was in the middle of a circle formed by your aunts, they were felling her up! squeezing her arms, massaging her back, touching her neck. you approached the group but stayed a little far just to watch the scene “olha como o braço dela é duro!” (look how her arm is hard!) “não e você já sentiu as costas dela? parece uma mesa” (did you felt her back? it’s like a table), your aunts were really impressed by her body, she was laughing so hard and mumbling littles “obrigada” (thank you) with a hard accent but full of eagerness to learn, to talk, to listen, to understand. your chest was filled with pride.

abby was loving meeting your culture, she even made 3 months of duolingo just to understand some things and even dared to say sometimes. when the afternoon came your aunts were preparing a little snack, they made cheese bread just because abby never had ate one from brazil, and after everybody was in the table, everyone was looking to abby taking the first bite “this is so much better than the one we eat there! i was fooled this whole time!” she said and you translated to everybody and your mom and you auntie highfived, your teenager cousin was determined to tease your girlfriend and asked “can you say pão de queijo?” (cheese bread) abby said all confident “pau de queijo” and room was contaminated with loud laughters because the way she pronounced it the brazilians understood “dick of cheese”.

you both said your goodbyes and were in the car going to the hotel, she was driving silently when she grabbed your hand and kissed it while still looking at the street “thank you for today, for trusting me and for letting me be part of your life, of something so important to you, thank you baby” she said, and when you finally looked at her face she was crying, just a little, but she was crying while smiling, she couldn’t stop smiling. “don’t need to say thank you abby, you were my family for a long time, you are my family ‘till the end of times, you don’t imagine how i’m happy that today was so good, my family wasn’t always like that with me, but they welcomed you like you have our last name, this was like…wow” when you noticed you were crying too, it was so long since you cried from joy, “you’re the love of my life” you said looking at her, the car stopped and you realized you were in the front of the hotel, abby got out the car and rushed to open your door, you were about to get out of the car when abby grabbed you and carried you in bride style to the lobby of the hotel while singing the outro of “you make loving fun” by fleetwood mac, you were giggling so hard and tried to sing along with her but you just couldn’t stop laughing. in that moment you were sure that abby was not only the love of your life, but the love of your soul.

New Official Survey Brings New The Sims 4 Kits Concepts

EA has sent out a new survey asking The Sims 4 players about potential concepts for upcoming kits.

As with previous surveys, like the recent one about expansion packs, the ideas presented are simply concepts that may or may not ever come to fruition. While there’s a chance we might see a version of one or two of these suggestions, the overall goal is to better understand what players are interested in buying.

Hello All! Thank you so much for stopping by!! I wanted to showcase some of my 3d models that I created for the Tachi Juice and Tea cafe. I have become passionate about archiviz and 3d modeling. This cafe was a design that I fell in love with instantly so I embarked on creating and then customizing it for Sims 4! Windows, arches, doors, jasper stools and bench, 3 wood accent tables, 2 hardwood rustic benches, signage, bar table; my actual bar table in RL, wire frame chairs, slab table, bookshelf, faux wall dividers, cement planters and the bench planter are my models. The window shades are a re-worked and re-textured model by mr.spoilt (my fabric models are not perfection yet lol) and the George Nakashima bench is also a re-worked and re-textured mesh. Out of all the models the kitchen door was the most challenging to animate correctly for the sims and the cafe bar windows were the most rewarding, and weirdly, the models I love the most! Other items that I used to complete the build such as foliage, counters, and patio cushioned bench are from talented creators such as @pinkbox-anye @novvvas @syboubou​ whose styles and artistry have always been an inspiration to me. I have been playing The Sims 4 since release but this is my first piece of CC so please let me know if there are any issues!

I created this because I wanted to sell jewelry from the Crystal Creations pack in a retail store, and I wanted a glass display case for it. However, the one in the game from Get to Work has only three swatches that I didn't like too much:

So, I decided to create my own version where I made the glass much clearer and added several more wood & metal swatches to make it more appropriate. These swatches should match many of the existing ones in the game so you can match it to other tables and counters! Since this is a standalone recolor of the Get to Work display, it should also still have all of the same functionality for retail stores. It is of course usable for any other display needs.

It can be found in-game under "Modernized Illuminated Display Case" for §320.

Always suggested: bb.objects ON, it makes placing items much easier. For further placement tweaking, check out the TOOL mod.

LAMPS: My note for now on all lamps is that they need the brightness turned down in game for them to look normal. I have an issue in Blender with the vertex paintbrush just not working, it paints/refuses to paint wherever it wants no matter what I try. It's something I'm always looking for the answer to, and any other creator who likes any of the lamps is welcome to add vertex paint to them. I would update the file and add a credit to said creator.  BEDS: Most beds are made with the cot as the base (or other very simple bed object), it's difficult to find something to "work" with the ACNH mesh. I haven't yet 100% hashed out how to make them *perfectly* functional in TS4, but the sims will sleep on top of them.

Gwen Stacy: Spider-Woman (Vol. 1) Issue #4

At Sims Labs, scientists examined the goop Spider-Woman brought in from the spider she crushed. The unconscious Anya Corazón lay on an examination table with a heart monitor while her blood was studied. She looked so sick.

“What’s going on?” Gwen asked worriedly. “Please tell me she’s not dying.”

“No,” Ezekiel Sims responded coldly, “she’s changing.”

“Changing?”

“Her DNA is being overwritten by new invasive DNA from the spider you crushed.”

“So, she’s gonna have spider powers?”

“Worse. I’ve heard of a similar occurrence. Years ago, Spider-Man’s DNA started to undergo drastic mutation from the method he gained his superhuman abilities. It began with the sudden growth of four extra arms. This is something different and more powerful. The new DNA will take over in a week. To make matters worse, several others have fallen to this plague but the spiders escaped or died.”

“What do we do?”

“Find the source, collect the venom, and bring it back for a cure.”

“And I might know who can find it.”

With the aid of Ezekiel Sims, Gwen obtained a recording of Spider-Wasp, the woman who attacked their lab. Next, she snuck into her father’s police precinct to track her down. She found a match belonging to Stephanie Shanahan. She was frequently seen near the abandoned Neponsit Beach Hospital in Queens and hurriedly traveled there quickly.

Stephanie, or “Steph,” as the others called her, entered the abandoned hospital. “Abandoned” may not be the correct term. The hospital was filled with members of the Sisterhood of the Wasp. They had knocked down walls and even ceilings to provide adequate space for training. Steph was highly regarded among them. The members would get on one knee and bow before her. 

She approached a makeshift cell of rusty pipes holding a man in ragged clothing. There were plates of untouched and spoiled food. Even though he had not eaten in days, he did not look weak or famished. His shackles were chained to a nearby wall. His gaze was fixed on the sunlight through a barred broken window.

“How soon before the spiders take over?” She asked him.

“It will be soon and your sisterhood will fall,” the prisoner spoke with a unique British-like accent. Under his breath, he whispered, “Mægon þa gēatas ǣnig þas sāwle mid opene earmum onfēon.”

“How do we prevent it.”

“The Sisterhood’s fall is inevitable. The fall of humanity has one chance. I must go free and work with you and two others. The beast is strong and none of us can stop it alone.”

“Who are the others?”

The prisoner looked up. “She is the first.”

Steph looked up as well. An old air duct gave way and Spider-Woman fell to the ground. Adam smirked but Steph was enraged. She grabbed Gwen by the collar and held her up.

“You dare come here?!”

“Uh… miss me?” Gwen asked jokingly. “Why do you have someone caged in here?”

Screams and a commotion from the main training area broke up the moment. Trouble was brewing. Steph sneered and dropped Gwen.

“The queen can sense you. You led her minions here!”

“The Sisterhood will fall,” said the prisoner.

Steph remained angry but silent. She calmly walked away. Gwen was surprised that she was curious about why she was not going to help her compatriots, but she decided to do it herself. The prisoner was left alone once more.

“Where are you going?”

Steph looked back. “This is a battle. I’ll need armor.”

The Sisterhood of the Wasp was under attack by a swarm of large mutated insects. These creatures were the size of cats, fast, and bloodthirsty. The sisterhood members were fast, but they were overwhelmed by their numbers. The villain here was a pale-skinned woman with black hair and completely black eyes holding a jar of bugs. She seemed to take pleasure in the chaos. Gwen kicked open the door and joined the chaos.

“Time to squash some bugs.”

The villainess. “Macrothrax’s conqueror. I am much more than my brother, for I am Infestation.”

“Why are you both obsessed with exposition?”

The villainess smirked and three millipedes at Gwen. They mutated midair into carnivorous beasts as long as boa constrictors. She knocked one out of the way, but others wrapped around her arms and pulled. Infestation walked up.

“You will follow our queen, or die here with…”

The bug-loving baddie was suddenly grabbed and thrown through the weakened ceiling. This person wore honey-and-black-colored with round dark red lenses. She extended narrow, chainsaw-like blades from her wrists. She slashed through the millipedes with ease.

“I owe you,” Gwen graciously said.

“Thank me by fighting!”

“Steph?”

“It’s Spider-Wasp.”

“Where did you get that?”

“Stolen from Pym Technologies with some improvement from other stolen companies. Wanna arrest me? I’ll kick your ass.”

“Okay. Okay. You can keep it.”

“I also took some tech from Sims.”

Infestation got up and looked down through the hole she made. Steph shot webbing out of built-in web-shooters on her armor and pulled the ceiling down. The villainess fell over but kept her jar in hand. Gwen and Steph lunged at her, but she threw mutated beetles at them.

“Kill them Abner and Joaquim!”

Gwen and Steph fought the cow-sided beetle. Gwen was fending it off with her fists, but Steph had more weaponry. She charged her gauntlets with electricity and zapped the bug dead. She then aided Gwen by stabbing it with her blade.

“Have you ever beaten a villain?”

“I’m having a bad week! Okay?”

Before Infestation could mutate more bugs, Steph web-yanked her jar out of her hands. Gwen kicked her in the head, knocking her out. Steph looked around and saw no surviving members.

“I-I’m sorry,” Gwen said sincerely. “I wasn’t fast enough.”

“The truth is that you led them here,” Steph replied, shocking Gwen. “Don’t blame yourself. I don’t. I doubt you have much experience with telepaths. This was foretold, but they joined anyway. The only way we will avenge them is by stopping the queen.”

“... okay. Can we free your prisoner now?”

“I suppose there is no need.”

The two headed back to the cell, but the prisoner was gone. His shackles were unlocked, and the cell was open. There was no trace of him. Steph was shocked.

“How…?”

“A trick Houdini taught me,” he answered.

They saw the prisoner emerge from the shadows. He wore blue and gold medieval knight armor roughed up by time. A sheathed scimitar hung from his hip, and a rough bronze shield was on his left arm.

“Whoa! Who are you?”

“My name is Adam Destine of Clan Destine, milady. Now, let us slay this beast.”
