I love weddings, but family weddings are just that much more special since it means our family is growing. Lana has been such a darling since we met her, and we thank the Lord that she's now officially part of the family. The wedding itself was beautiful, the Lord was the at the centre of it all, represented by the large cross that Lana had hung up between them.

This is probably going to be the last picture of the boys before their new sibling gets here, this baby is due to arrive in the summer and after easter, we've not got many opportunities to dress up and take group pictures. It's also quite an uphill climb to get all 8 kids looking at the camera at the same time, as evidenced by little Titus doing his own thing.

Kyleigh and I managed to get our picture together, the third time we've been pregnant together. This will be her 11th child whereas this will be the 9th babe to join our family, we've just been so blessed to be able to have been given the responsibility to birth and raise all the children that we've had (and any more that the Lord wills for us to have). My mother always gets so excited when we send these photos to the family group, she's always said that God is so good, and all the kids are a perfect example of it.

The first time we were pregnant at the same time was when I was pregnant with Aaron (#3) and Kyleigh was pregnant with the twins Rose and Violet (#4 & #5), additionally, Valentina was pregnant with her 2nd child and Madelynn with her first. The second time that we were pregnant together was when I was newly pregnant with the twins Caleb & Jonah (#6 & #7), and she was pregnant with Preston (#9)

I love getting to see my sisters again, especially the ones that I don't see as often, of course we video call here and there as well as chat, but it's not the same as getting to chat and catch up in person. I'm so far the only sibling that lives without a sibling neighbour, Amira and Zoe are both in Windenburg whilst Maggie and Reece (and therefore Stacie) live in San Myshuno. We tried to make plans to visit each other, or maybe take a sister trip somewhere when we're free, which may not happen before this baby is born, so maybe we'll have to plan for next summer.

Seeing my cousins is also great, we all grew up very close and now we still try and keep those bonds steady even though we live far away from each other. Valentina is actually coming to see us once this baby is born, her brother Carter lives close-by so she's going to kill two birds with one stone. It was also great seeing both my sister Priscilla and my cousin Kristyn, they both live in Oasis Springs so they were local for the wedding and helped Lana with some of the planning logistics. Kristyn is also pregnant, she's halfway through her pregnancy with her second child who they found out is a baby boy!

Congratulations are in order!

Lotanna and Tori got married at Old New Henford Baptist. Lotanna had his own cottage built not far from the church using money saved from his landscaping business. Tori’s also helping out their income with her work as a Smexus ambassador. All of my siblings were at the wedding, except Onyinye, Adaeze and Chidi, which I definitely expected. It was a beautiful wedding nonetheless!

I never expected to get married this young, or this quickly, or to someone this Herded. I never expected a lot of things, to be honest. Other than making music I didn’t really know what I wanted to do with myself, so I just started producing stuff and figured something would grab my attention eventually. Fortunately my parents have been super supportive and not pushed me in any particular direction. They’ve both made it clear that your relationship with Beelzebeef is personal and no one else can know what She asks of you, so I just needed to trust in Her and She would show me the way. Obviously I prayed a lot, but even then I know I can’t expect Her to do all the work for me. 

I suppose a lot of Sims would think ‘duh, of course you’re directionless, you weren’t ~born~ into a Herded family’, but that’s just bull. I don’t even remember much of my life from before mom was saved, and Nestor’s always been my dad. Biology’s got fuck all to do with the family Beelzebeef gives you, you know? And now She’s blessed me with even more family. Like I said, I didn’t expect Christie to come into my life, but Beelzebeef drew us together and here we are. 

Christie is a lot like me in many ways. We got talking while my family were staying in Oasis Springs and I was struck by how thoughtful she is. She’s very contemplative, keeps a lot close to her chest -- don’t tell anyone, but I really do blame her mom for that -- and as we spent more time together she began to trust me with what she was thinking. She’s not sure where she falls in Beelzebeef’s plan, but she knew she wasn’t convinced it was the one her mom had set out for her -- the typical ‘get married, have babies, clean the house’ schtick. I get that. Beelzebeef says men and women are equal in Her eyes, so it doesn’t make any sense to me that Christie should be content with someone else’s idea for her life just because she’s a woman. 

During our courtship, there were a couple of times when we managed to talk to one another without her parents hovering around in the background, and that’s when we were really able to explore our thoughts for the future. On one of those times she opened up and told me she didn’t know if she wanted children. She’s spent her whole life being her mom’s right-hand helper and the idea of immediately having more babies to look after just filled her with dread. That moment right there; that’s when I knew I’d fallen for her. Not because of the kids issue -- I’ve never felt strongly one way or another about that -- but because I knew she must have had so much trust in me to tell me that. It takes a lot for a Herded girl to admit she’s not convinced by babies and keeping house.

Once Christie realized we were on the same page and I didn’t plan on knocking her up the second we got hitched, everything else fell into place really quickly. That said, we did play it up some for our parents. She didn’t want her dad to withdraw his permission if we were too open about our intentions, and I didn’t want to upset my mom too much by telling her she might not be getting grandbabies anytime soon. Even though she and dad are expecting anyway, she’d be excited to be a grandma as well. Babies are just too big of a deal in this community. I know mom says no one else can know what calling She places on your heart, but I can tell there were times she clearly just wanted me to settle down with a nice Herded girl and bring glory to Beelzebeef with a couple of kids or seven. We’ll get a lot of mileage out of saying She just doesn’t have kids in our plan yet, especially in the early years, but we’re not interested in rocking the boat too much.

Now that we’re husband and wife, I can honestly say I’ve never felt more excited to see what Beelzebeef has in store for us. Before, when I had doubts about my life and where I was going, I felt like I was an outlier for not having absolute faith in Her. Now I know I’m not alone. And not only that, I have this amazing, honest, thoughtful woman along for the ride with me. We don’t know what Beelzebeef’s plan is, it’s probably way too mysterious for us to comprehend, and honestly? Whatevs. I’ve got my best friend by my side. That’s all I need.

Solomon&Hannah Eaten

Robert Paul Medley

Robert is a man passionate about the LORD and the LORD only. He has dedicated his life to bringing in people from satanic lies, and preventing children from being corrupted. He is a high-up at Paradise University. He aims only to raise all his future children to love the LORD and aim to SERVE him.

Beliefs

Marriage is a man and woman for life. Divorce and Homosexual Marriage are abominations. We will be raising our children as such.

A woman should have as many children to fight for THE LORD, as is told in scripture. Therefore, all firms of birth control, especially the pill and ABORTION are sinful.

"As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate."

All children in this family will homeschool be and raised to serve and honour the LORD and nothing else. The public education system is filled with Satanic and Atheist lies. Our children are SERVANTS OF THE LORD. Teenagers were also not created to be sat in a room together for 6 hours a day!

Biblical modesty is essential. Women will only wear skirts and. Pants are ONLY for men and men alone.

A wife should be at home with the children, raising up the next generation of soldiers for the LORD. She should have no career outside the home, especially after she is married and has children as the LORD intended.

We also hold a literal belief in a bible. The earth is only 6000 years old, and that Evolution is a HOAX and Hoax alone.

My little girl is MARRIED! The Lord blessed the new Mr. and Mrs. Sato with a gorgeous summer day! After the ceremony, we all (over 300 of us were present because of our LARGE church community and extended family!) enjoyed wonderful fellowship with coffee and scones! 😋 

Unfortunately, there was a malfunction with Izzie’s original dress, causing her to have to pick a new dress! :( However, PTL, she found another dress she loved even MORE!

We are all so sad to LOSE Izzie. The night before the wedding was SUCH a sad time, with all of Izzie’s buddies in TEARS. We are working on JOYFUL spirits!

We just received the PROFESSIONAL pictures from Mallory’s wedding! They were shot by a wonderful GODLY couple who agreed to trade some woodworked items Mike made for Photography! What a BLESSING!

We were lucky it was such a BEAUTIFUL summer day (AN: I only had to adjust the weather half a dozen times) with all of the flowers in BLOOM! This union must be truly BLESSED!

Can you tell that Mallory and Liam just LOVE that they can be so close to each other now ;) 

I just LOVE this pose, symbolizing Liam’s OWNERSHIP of her WOMB (AN: EW). I am PRAYING that their life will be full of many blessings, just like mine has been! Luckily Mallory is just 17, so she has many years to have as many blessings as the LORD will give her!

What a SWEET couple! Please PRAY that their marriage will be CHRIST-HONOURING and FRUITFUL!

Of course, I had to make sure they got a few shots of myself and my WONDERFUL husband as well! This day reminded me so much of my own BEAUTIFUL wedding to my Carson!

Our Blog...Part 2.

Well, Stetson’s brother, Finley, got married yesterday. They eloped, which was a blessing. I don’t know if we could have attended a wedding that was held in a backyard. I am so grateful to have my hubby. He is so decisive! He would have made the right decision about whether or not to attend. 

Here are some pictures from the wedding. Yes, Midori is expecting their first blessing not long after our Ezekiel Luther is born. We were all rather shocked by the news, at first. We knew that Finley became worldly after he left home and got a job with the police department, but it was a big shock for us at first when we found out he was not only dating Midori...but about to get married...and have a baby! 

My mother-in-law loves these pictures, though, and I understand why. A child is always a blessing, and marriage is always the best route to take. There is always time to make up for mistakes! 

My sweet mother-in-law, Geraldine, is SUCH an encouragement to me. She was only able to have two children! She had an emergency hysterectomy after complications with Stetson! I can’t IMAGINE having only two children. And for my purpose to be gone so early in life...and for HALF of my children to turn away from God in such a way! Her patience truly is an example for us all! 

I hope to see Midori soon. I’ll have to remind her that a child conceived out of wedlock IS still a bastard--oh dear! That means that she and Finley CANNOT attend Daddy’s church. It’s heartbreaking, but the risks of condoning their sin are too great. My young siblings are still so impressionable! 

Anyway, congratulations, Finley & Midori! So happy for you! Maybe you can renew your vows later on...in a chapel, maybe! Episcopalians aren’t strict!

FORD & COLLINS WEDDING WEEKEND

Pictures

The pictures have come back from the photographer an I'm obsessed! I had a vision of flowers and greenery contrasted by the desert location, and together with my wedding planner we managed to pull it off wonderfully.

My dress was the dress of my dreams! Ever since I was a little girl I've dreamt of having my own princess style wedding gown, and I'm so happy I was able to get exactly what I wanted. I began the wedding dress search almost immediately after we got engaged, I began looking at boutiques in town and online stores. An on-going issue was the issue of modesty, most of the dresses I was seeing had a few issues that would need to be fixed and the extra tailoring would be an unnecessary cost. I prayed about the issue, as well as asking my friends and family to pray on it, and 2 weeks later I received a text message from my friend Lorilee who found a boutique in Windenburg that does modest wedding dresses. A few more weeks passed as we all moved things around our schedule to make it work, and one fine winter day we headed to a small town in windenburg and I said yes to the dress!

The star of the wedding was the giant leaf wall that I had erected for the ceremony, I saw it being done at a wedding by a photographer I follow on simstagram and knew it was something I would like at my wedding. I found a great deal on the oversized plants from a local hobby store that had them on sale, and the wooden boards came from spare wood that hadn't been used after various projects.

Parker and I are so grateful to our parents for their wisdom and guidance, they've sacrificed so much for us to be able to get to this point and for that I'm so grateful.

These two ladies right here have been my backbone and I thank the Lord every day for these two ladies in my life. My mama has been such a good role model for me, she's taught me everything I know and is a true Proverbs 31 woman. I'm so proud to be able to now call Casandra my mother-in-law, because in my eyes she's basically superwoman. She's birthed and raised 13 wonderful children (one of whom is quite special might I add) and homeschooled them all whilst also fulfilling her roles as pastor's wife, sister, friend, and teacher.

As much as I wished I could've had 30 people in my bridal party, I had to take into account that people have loads of responsibilities and various other things that would've been incompatible with being in the wedding party. I had my sister Lyndsay as my maid of honour, then Lorilee, Annette, and Priscilla as bridesmaids. I also had Parker's niece Chloe as a junior bridesmaid and her sisters Rose, Violet, and Daisy as flowergirls; My baby cousins were the ring bearers. Parker had his brother Charles as his best man (they've now been each others best men), then his brother Reece, his brother-in-law Shane, and his cousin Tanner as his groomsmen.

(Lana's POV)

Oh how I love Harvestfest! All of Parker's immediate and a lot of his extended family get together and it's one massive party all weekend. This was my first one after being officially married in the family, and it's been a weekend of thankfulness, fellowship, and family.

The last few weeks have been a flurry of activity as Casandra and the girls have been arranging the logistics of arranging the house for everyone to be there. Since the weather forecast said it would be pleasant but cool weather, we planned to serve the food on the dining table inside but eat outside on tables that we rented. Since there's so many children, we set up two rooms for naps and diaper changes. The sisters and I have been talking about buying a changing table to attach to the bathroom downstairs as well as the spare bedroom upstairs, since there's always going to be many diaper wearing littles around.

Kyleigh, Stacie, Mandy, Lorilee, and I got a picture as the "Mrs. Collins" club. The girls joked about it with me when I visited last year, and this year we were able to do it. There's only 5 boys in the family, so I was the final girl to join the club. We had the idea to do it at the wedding as well, but since Mandy only flies in at the end of the year, we now have a complete picture. The next event is a sip and see that we're doing for Bethany and Adalynn; since she and Mason don't find out the gender for their babies, when we found out that Bethany wasn't a boy as we all expected we all rallied together to celebrate their new baby girl. Since there are two events back to back, we're all pitching in to help with the hosting responsibilities.
