Gen 3 Aurora #94 Betrayal

One night, Aurora and Phillip were enjoying the ocean together.

She didn't see the kelpie sneaking up behind her.

As if possessed, Haydes didn't seem to care that he was trying to murder his friend's wife.

Unaware of the kelpie, Aurora was joining Phillip on the beach, and it was too late when Phillip saw him.

Witnessing Aurora get electrocuted, Phillip was a changed merman.

He pleaded for Aurora.

Haydes had the gall to be sad...

He tried to kill the kelpie, but he couldn't drown him. The kelpie got away, as Phillip was distracted by the reaping.

Phillip (and I) couldn't believe that his beloved wife was really gone.

I had to do this more than once, because the Grim Reaper just wouldn't take her when she was dying of electrocution in the water... so here are some of the alternate moments below, trying out another of the Expanded Mermaids spells.

an updated disney princess legacy challenge

hello!

i have been playing my own version of disney princess legacy challenge since a year and a half now, and i’m about to finish it soon. i have immensely enjoyed playing this legacy, and would like to thank its original creator, MissPlaying. in my game, i created my own version of the challenge by combining rules from three sources and adding my own spice on the mix. i think the result has become a much more story-oriented and aesthetic heavy version that is more challenging than the original but prioritizes the narrative over task solving. i have a lot of respect for the previous versions, and mine is just one take among the others, but if you’d like to give it a try, go ahead!

some notes: i didn’t want to follow the original order or go chronologically because then all the classical early disney princesses come one after the other, making it a bit boring in my view. shuffling older and more recent princesses makes it interesting with very different types of characters following each other, and this particular order worked well for the transitions within my storyline. second, i focused this around the disney princesses whose films i actually watched, so pocahontas and some of the newer princesses are lacking, but feel free to add them if you want. lastly, when i started playing this, i had very few packs. so my rules kind of reflect the way i gradually acquired more of the packs. feel free to tailor it according to the packs you have! for each gen, i determined a city to live and an aesthethic. if you follow those, please tag me in your photos, i’d love to see!

[some of the earlier versions has snow white make seven babies as dwarves. i think that makes this gen something like a mini-100-babies-challenge, and players can’t focus on snow’s own story. instead, i just made a club with 7 little boys as my dwarves and focused more on snow’s story of getting used to her new life. my version is quite easy as you see--i was still new to the sims and found it very challenging back then lol! feel free to tweak it a bit to make it more difficult for yourself. (if you have Cottage Living EP pack, go ahead and exploit those possibilities!--i didn’t.)]

[i ended up marrying a normal human sim, and involved an alien later in my game. so i don’t know how it would play out with an alien sim, but go ahead if that sounds interesting to you! at this point the only occult sim variety i had was the aliens.]

[tbh the first three disney princesses (snow, cinderella, and aurora) seem to be all obsessed with getting married lol. that was the norm back then, these films were made in 30s-50s! so in my mind cinderella’s home after she gets married is midcentury-modernist in decoration but suburban and somewhat conservative in family lifestyle. with her previous maid-like treatment by her step-family, she was perfectly prepared to be a housewife haha. making a lot of kids suits her too. in the story, ariel had six older sisters but for me that was simply too much, so i made it three + ariel.]

[i didn’t have Island Living EP pack when i played this, so i made sure that cinderella’s husband was an alien lol. i imagined, instead of swimming in the ocean, they were swimming in the outer space. it’s a bit weird i know, but worked out fantastically well for my storyline! if you have Island Living go ahead and make them actual mermaids.]

After your mother’s death, you grew afraid of leaving the safety of your home for a while. You really enjoy a serene, peaceful lifestyle, but then again... Someone who interrupts it with crazy ups and downs might become the love of your life after all!

Have a tiger companion called Raja

Visit the flea market when it comes to town

Don’t leave house unless it’s for school until your first flea market

Marry a poor, criminal street rat OR someone who comes with the welcome wagon

Live with your partner’s alien best friend for a while, and he should control people’s minds (this a really good mod for improved aliens, giving them extra powers--if you have Realm of Magic GP, feel free to make the Genie a spellcaster instead)

[you can find tigers in the gallery! simmers did a wonderful job creating very realistic tigers. this is not in the rules but my jasmine was really into yoga and self-care, pampering herself with aromatic baths etc. i think that fit very well. that’s partly why i chose magnolia promenade instead of oasis. i thought the latter would be too basic (agrabah desert=oasis desert), and jasmine’s life in the palace was so lush, so i thought some commercial town would work well for her pampered lifestyle.]

[aurora in the film lives a very humble life with her fairy godmothers, so i thought minimalist aesthetic worked well for her. after she died, i revamped the house to make it look ruined and covered with vines; aurora’s ghost was trapped in the upper floor bedroom with no stairs going down. her lover was downstairs in the ruined house, working on creating ambrosia for weeks. this was my most romantic gen in this legacy.]

[i moved mulan into a military barrack before she reached the captain’s rank when she moved out to her own house. you can find some really cool barracks made by simmers in the gallery. i thought of this a bit too late, but if you wish, you can move mulan much earlier in the legacy so that your later gens coming after her can commemorate their ancestor on mulan day!]

Prologue

Clingy little Aurora hated when her mother left! She needed attention all the time!

Aurora probably didn't cry more than the other princess legacy toddlers, but she cried often enough that it was hard too get any other pictures!

Plumbob help Hanabi if she wasn't constantly nearby, even if Aurora was sleeping.

Hanabi made the best of it, and used their time together to teach Aurora as much as she could.

But nothing could prepare the benevolent god for what else Hanabi did....

Hanabi pulled some daisies out of her pocket, and asked Aurora to eat them!

So uh. Yeah. Aurora ate daisies.

Apparently the only issue was the flavor so. Ok.

Hanabi did get Aurora some real food eventually, but the toddlers palate had forever been changed. Normal food no longer interested her.

Tiana spent most of her time at work, surprise surprise, leaving Hanabi in charge of most of the toddlercare.

Their favorite activity to do together was Hanabi teaching Aurora how to dance!

Aurora tried her best to wiggle around the exact same way her okaasan did.

Aurora tended to get super smug when she got her way, but luckily she was still a toddler so it was adorable.

Once Aurora's clingy tendencies were sufficiently satisfied, she was pretty good about playing in her own!

Aurora absolutely loved toys! Any shape and size, she wanted to imagine entire new worlds with them.

Her absolute favorite toy was her owl nightlight, which she kept in her pocket at all times.

Overall, 10/10 cute toddler experience.

Gen 4. Ariel #22 Memorial Day

After a day of visiting castles, the family was able to bring Aurora to her final resting place - the family cemetery in Tartosa.

Aurora was laid to rest next to her parents.

The family gathered in the catacombs to remember Aurora's life.

They looked back on Aurora's childhood.

Everybody was sharing stories about Aurora, especially to Ariel, who had no memories of her mother.

They checked into the Spanish hotel quite late (the same one Snow and the 7 dwarfs checked into 3 generations ago!).

Everyone was too emotionally exhausted to explore and went straight to bed.

Double Royal babies

HRH Princess Nova and HRH Princess Stella have announced alongside Duchess Venus and Newly Minted Duke Jax about 2 new royal babies on the way.  The pairs decided as good friends to do their baby announcements and photos together. Sims 4 Sleeping Beauty Story Part 1

Once upon a time, there lived an elven Queen named Kimana. She resided in the matriarchal kingdom of Elvenburg (Sims 4 world: Windenburg) and came from a powerful bloodline of elves. She is married to her King Consort Kae.

One day, while walking with her fairy guard Pandora, she, who was known as a strong fairy responsible for protecting the royal family of Lanier, fell in love with the queen and attempted to kiss her. However, the queen pushed Pandora away and banished her from the kingdom never to be seen again.

A year after the queen gave birth to a baby girl, Aurora. The event was celebrated with great joy. However, during the celebration, an evil fairy named Pandora, now known as Maleficent, cast a sleeping curse on the family. The curse would be triggered when Aurora turns 15 years old. The queen was devastated, but the blue fairy gave Aurora a gift - a spell to break the curse with true love's kiss. However, there was a condition. If Aurora was kept away from her family beyond her 16th year, the curse would cancel out. Queen Kimana had no choice but to give up her daughter to keep her safe.

A year later, Queen gave birth to her son, Prince Kano. However, because the Kingdom is a matriarchal, this make Aurora the heir to the throne.

At 15, Aurora was a raised to be a beautiful, brave and smart girl with a hidden sadness.

So since the Princess 16 birthday arrives soon, the blue fairy and Elven burg's High Priestess went to the palace to discuss the reunion.

Even thought, the high priestess did not agree with the reunion, since the Princess did not know who she was and about her parents.

While her two adoptive mothers were away from home, Aurora decided to step outside to look at the stars and ponder her purpose. She had felt alone all these years as her mothers would hardly be home at times. As she pondered, Maleficent watched Aurora, happy to have finally found her. However, she did not realize that her heart would break while it fell into joy. In that moment, Maleficent fell deeply in love with Aurora.

Maleficent decided to slowly introduce herself to Aurora and as time went on, they both became close friends. Maleficent confessed to Aurora about the curse and who she really was. Aurora was at first in shock but welcomed the honesty, since her mothers never told her the truth even when she asked them multiple times about her parents and why she was hidden from the world. Aurora was glad that she was turning 16 years old and that the curse would be broken. Maleficent was overjoyed as well.

As they both walked into the night together, they both thought about how they could confess their true feelings to each other. Maleficent did not want another broken heart, and Aurora did not want to get hurt.

On her 16th birthday, Aurora was introduced to her real parents. However, despite their joy, she was not pleased and longed to return to her normal life. As she approached her biological parents, she was struck by a sudden headache and collapsed. Soon after, everyone in the palace fell into a deep sleep. Malficent was distraught and full of anger at losing her one true love.

Prince Kano and the High Priestess argued to find a solution to bring back his family, but they found no answer and no end to the despair in sight.
