QUEENPIN SIMS 4 CHALLENGE

This is the QueenPin challenge by LLP and her community. You start off as a quiet and dutiful upper middle class housewife, when your spouse ruins your family with a risky stock market endeavor. Now it's up to you to provide for the family. With no formal education or trade to speak of, you can only rely on your wit and charisma to survive. Your suburban neighborhood is ripe with needs and you are willing to supply, in drugs. This challenge is meant to be played with the Basemental Drug Mod.

Where: Newcrest world. Make sure to fill in ALL the lots with homes and businesses. If you don't, you won't have any customers to sell to. (In the future I hope to be able to upload my Newcrest filled world save and link in the comments or another post.)

Jobs: The main character is a homemaker, no job. The spouse has recently been fired, also no job. They should start off with about 10k Simoleans, which they will invest into their newfound drug selling business.

They must have at least one computer in the home. The house can be as lavish or quaint as you want it. Be mindful of the bills coming in that you will need to pay for.

Next make the spouse. Aspiration:

Fortune: Fabulously Wealthy Any likes/dislikes of your choice.

Traits: -Materialistic -Self-Absorbed -Ambitious You can give them children if you want. Make sure one of their traits is either lazy or snobbish. OTHER SETTINGS: -Please select LONG life in the settings as growing the best quality cannabis takes a long time. -Add the Gardening trait to your property.

When you start the game, it will ask you if you want to add drug dealers, say Yes. You can now buy and then resell drugs you obtain from them. You may assign drug dealers and police officers in the neighborhood. Policy difficulty level is up to you.

Pro-tip: Turn of autonomous drug use for your main sim. If you don't, there's a very high chance that they'll get hooked on their own product(unless that's what you want to do).

Rules: No money cheats, except to fix starting funds to 10K. Main sim cannot have a regular salary job. If you want the spouse to work, only menial part time jobs allowed.

If you go to jail, please *remove* 1000 Simoleans from the household bank. You must LEGALIZE Cannabis use and sale!

I really like the Monsters x reader story. Imagine if Reader got preggers and didn't know who the dad is. That would be one very intense fight amongst everyone.

I suppose it would be rather easy to figure out the paternity once the child is born. If it’s half lizard, for example, it might be safe to assume the many-eyed screeching creature wasn’t involved in its creation.

During pregnancy it could be once again the time for the mayor or Monstertown to interfere and keep Reader away (they have no idea how fragile humans are so they’d rather not risk stressing it out). To maintain the peace he might even turn it into some sort Olympic event, where only a handful of monsters that make it to the finals have a chance to impregnate the Reader as well. I won’t go into detail because I have another ask about a motherly Reader that triggers the monsters’ breeding instincts 👀

Mafia villa

The multi-storey mafia house was a commission and has a lot to offer. It has four bedrooms, one of which is a children's room. There is plenty of space to relax. A bar, a place to play cards, an office with a secret door and a lift down to the underground rooms. There is an armory, a surveillance room and a torture room. There is also a fitness room, a pool, a TV room, a laundry, a spacious kitchen and a luxurious dining area.

'The Best Seat in the House' Sofa Suite

A sofa, loveseat and extra-wide armchair, plus a refurbished EA armchair

So I've looked in the game, and did you know that across the SIXTY FIVE packs currently available for The Sims™ 4, there are, in my opinion, only EIGHT* sofas that look both: moderately comfortable, and modest aesthetically. Of those eight, only two come with a matching loveseat and armchair. When I saw 'The Best Seat in the House' in EA's newest Basement Treasures kit, I was overcome with a sense of urgency. We can have a ninth comfy, modest-looking sofa set. And here it is! I've cleaned up the textures, and doubled and tripled that original armchair to present to you all, now, a sofa set. I'm a little emo because it looks pretty much identical to the sofa I am sat on right now, and I can confirm that I am VERY comfortable right now. Anyway more pics and D/L link below!!

Mrs Chapman's Boarding House is a venerable Fallen London institution where Londoners of all walks of life come and partake of the soup and lounge in the numerous parlors. That, however, was only after the Fall. Here stands Mrs Chapman's circa 1862, significantly more Euclidean in nature.

There were some poetic liberties taken to make the canon appearance of the house play nice with the physical limitations of the Sims (The attic room was at least two hours of my life...). The bottom four photos are the parlor, Archie's bedroom, Griz's desk, and the kitchen.

Some other liberties & Easter eggs (& some spoilers!):

The canon appearance of the building is a triple decker; but in-game there's mention of how few rooms are currently available. Given that the attic room is very much not a part of the triple-decker setup, the building has been shortened to two full stories + attic. There is, however, an extra room, which begs the question: why did Moss need to take Archie's room...? I guess we'll never know. Perhaps Horatia had someone in mind she was keeping it open for.

As the heart of the house - in a manner of speaking - it stands to reason that Horatia would keep the room off of the kitchen for herself, though initially intended as a the servants' room.

Horatia strikes me as someone who would be at the vanguard of health and shell out for indoor plumbing the moment it was readily available; cleanliness is next to Godliness, after all. The main bathroom on the first floor has been expanded and had a soaking tub installed in recent years.

With the rest of the house heavily decorated and cozy, Horatia's bedroom is her space to reflect and clear her head, and therefore is sparse, save for a tin-type photo of her father above her bed.

There are no directly biblical art pieces in the Sims so instead of the lion and the lamb on the mantelpiece, I went with the rooster, which historically has been used as a symbol of recognizing one's own sins and seeking redemption in Christianity. I hope Horatia doesn't mind the replacement.

The mannequin is dressed in what I usually purchase for my MCs to wear in MotR: the taupe gentleman's greatcoat and top hat.

On the desk in the attic, there's a book from which a Sim can learn the spell "inferniate" - this is as close as I could get to a Sim being able to write sigils, which burn when written on normal paper.

Griz's grew up around tenant farmers and specifically mentions horses when you ask her about her childhood; the horse statue on her desk helps stave off the homesickness for greener pastures back on the estate, though it seldom strikes.

There are glasses on Archie's bedside table, referencing the fact if you pursue the manifesto plotline, he'll reward you with the dark posing spectacles.

Horatia is known for her cooking, and, when she can, she leaves baked goods in the parlor. Here, there are some Yorkshire puddings... or, if you're a nasty American like me, some popovers.

Of course, the Sims doesn't allow for strange sprawling and recursive architectury (yet) so I will not be attempting later iterations of Mrs Chapman's humble abode. :)

AU where the tma really is just an office comedy/ soap opera and Annabelle Cane is your host/narrator.

S1: Worm infestation so they have to work remote for a bit, Sasha gets her identity stolen but sorts it out with her bank. Martin temporarily lives in the archives because his apartment is filled with asbestos.

S2: Sasha’s identity is revealed to have been stolen by her secret twin sister after she attempts to impersonate her. Sasha then resolves this but quits to go and pursue other passions (contract with show ended). Jon seeks therapy. That S2 finale that every sitcom has where the protagonist finally starts realizing his feelings for love interest.

S3: Tensions rise due to an unresolved argument between Tim and Jon about which circus they should go see. Elias gets arrested for committing tax fraud (contract ended). Season ends on Jon and Tim getting in a car crash on their way to the circus (emotional climax, Tim dies because his contract ended).

S4: Martin gets transferred (significant impact on the romance subplot). Wacky adventures include: Jon and Daisy investigating a cemetery because she needs help with a case, The branch that Martin got transferred to falls apart and he ends up back at the archives where the two lovebirds finally get together. The season that everyone only acknowledges the finale of because the love interests are mostly separated and the problematic but loveable boss got replaced.

S5: Jon and Martin move to Scotland into their little cottage with the highland cows in the season finale and nothing bad ever happens and only good things and nobody dies ever, the end.

named after the roman goddess of fate, FORTUNA is the debut album by the s-pop girl group, the fates. the album is filled with lush, unique melodies that perfectly compliments the women’s ethereal and peculiar charms. FORTUNA opens with an unbelievably dreamy and almost fairytale-like intro that melts into an euphorically rich and punchy deep-house title track. the album also includes songs ranging from calming bossa nova, upbeat saccharine pop, and r&b-tinged lullabies. the album itself perfectly captures the intense curiosity, nervousness, and giddiness of the three goddess-like figures and their hopeful late summer rendezvous with the oblivious morals they have observed from far, far away for their entire lives. one could only wonder for how long will these feelings of joy and wonder could last for these inquisitive deities before they have the chance to interact with the very same humans whose lives they have heavily impacted in both wonderful and terrifying ways.
