GloWorm Social Jar for The Sims 2

Do you remember the Social Jars from Simslice? I wanted to make something based on that but without some options like the water flooding or punching the jar, which I personally don't like.

Your sims can Vent to, Talk, Watch and Feed this cute worm; this will increase fun and social motives. Sometimes butterflies soar around the jar (it's an effect) and sometimes the worm jumps. When your sims interact with it some funny dialogs will pop out (I translated them also in italian).

The jar has also a Lighting Point, so it's visible at night. You can also light the inside, turning it on/off but that glare turn off automatically when the worm "jumps" and I wasn't able to fix that).

Found in Table Lamps section of Buy Mode. Original mesh and textures are from Surely-Sims, low poly.

Original TS2 cards aren't great but I was never motivated enough to default those (we're talking ~100 resources here) ...until I saw this 19thc deck 😍. Card effects are still a bit glitchy - can't do nothing about it, but nice cards make it easier to watch.

*I've included a mesh-only default for card deck - it's compatible with texture defaults. As far as I know, only @gingerplaysthesims has made one (it's a classic clean white deck, textures are smaller than my DR). There's also this medieval-fantasy style DR here.

And here's my edit of Black Jack's Rest poker table aka Pirate Card Table extracted from Castaway. It is not recolourable so I created a smaller dining table and repositoried the large thing to it:

This fun object was created by Simslice, for a while I've been using @hugelunatic 's repositoried version but animations bothered me (naked Sim leaves the table and starts spinning that noisy birthday thingy, then gets double panic attack ). @episims kindly helped me remove those anims . If you want it, it's here (SFS)*

*Simslice TOU doesn't allow sharing or editing their stuff, so I guess that includes object fixes (?) I will remove this DL, if asked to do so.

In addition to being a busking venue, there's a keg of simslice beer on the World Stage lot. I get surprisingly little streaking and violence, but I sure do get random proposals.

I made no attempt to suppress townies and NPCs, so there's lots of random people wandering around community lots. Here we see the garden club lady rejecting Rabbit Trickster and an emo lady being rejected by teenage Bear Trickster, and in turn rejecting Medb Llyr.

Unselectable kids also get into the beer, and I keep getting pop-ups about them needing more supervision. Dude, I'm not the one who made the beer keg available to kids! I put in vending machines, they weren't gonna starve.

Introducing.. The Dirty Hole! A toxic waste dump where teens from strangetown can go to meet other teens. There is plenty of fun to be had with admiring piles of trash, drinking simslice beer kegs, playing basketball, and playing with grimy arcade machines and bubble blowers that were thrown in the trash.

Didn’t take long for drama to develop between Duke and Ari. On the very first day Duke moves in, the SimSlice beer 6-pack makes the two of them fight (I didn’t get any good pics :/). Now Ari is furious at Duke and their engagement looks pretty uncertain. The matchmaker also dropped off a genie lamp, so Ari took it as an opportunity to ask for beauty and a blind date, who ends up being Brandi Broke. Not put off by the mess in the apartment, Brandi and Ari get along and go ice skating. Oh, and a burglar came by for good measure. I love chaotic gameplay.

Hello, re: your commissions policy, would you be interested in doing a stand-alone clone of the roach object that can be fed, reproduces, and dies if not fed? It would move/function similarly to barnyard bash animals or those from simslice's COL set (didn't get a reply from them). Ideally, I could clone/swap the mesh to make "new" animals for ts2 - but i'm not asking you to worry about that part.

So you basically want me to make a "clean clone template" of my chicken livestock but also has properties from my standing still livestock is what I'm getting out of this? Sorry, but I'm not comfortable with distributing a base clone package for others to manipulate, nor in making a combo package of that sorts at this time.

Futurama Heads-In-A-Jar from Simslice

Hi wants to make friends with Xander, who I'm sure would be real enthusiastic about him dating his mom, so he invites the frat over. He misses the frat. Things were so simple there!

Since I had to move him out and in again to fix that building error, he gets a first night outing - from Stella! They go to the Lunchroom first, but once he's established that she brought only her younger, hipper friends he suggests the Notell Motel. Purely for the illegal gambling and free beer, obviously. Stella spies a couple of Riverblossom teens there and is pretty sure their parents (or guardian and older siblings, in Garret's case) wouldn't approve, but she's not one to tell tales. Besides, she got a little drunk and proposed to a teen-ager (who then went and proposed to somebody else; the Notell Motel is a wholly logical place for the simslice beer keg) and nobody needs to tell any tales about that, either.

In the morning Hi gets up to find one of his neighbors smustling in his living room, and joins him. 'Cause you only live once, right? Who needs breakfast? He can always pull fratboy pizza out of his inventory to eat at his desk at work.

Recientemente estuve construyendo una pieza muy importante para mi versión de Cala Belladonna: La Alcaldía. Este espacio se compone de diferentes departamentos que son posibles gracias a increíbles modificadores del juego permitiendo administrar la ciudad de manera más realista al mismo tiempo que enriquecen mi gameplay. Mis aplausos y agradecimientos para las creadoras y creadores de cada uno de estos mods objects. Los listaré al final de la publicación.

With General Buzz around, the Beakers end up throwing a bunch of sports parties. Buzz grabs some simslice beer bottles and the party gets pretty interesting with the shenanigans those can cause. Lazlo ended up drunkenly proposing to buzz right next to the turkey canapes.
