#was doing sooooo well with uni stuff #and then the horrors hit #i was literally nowhere except at uni for exams and i somehow picked up whatever demonic illness this is #threw up seven (7) times today. every bone in my body hurts. if it's covid i'm killing myself #going to lose my 1553 day reading streak as well. i have been fighting to read my min of 20 pages the entire dayyyyyyy #haven't missed a day since november 2019 and this is what takes me out :(#but also i'm flunking my tuesday exam if i'll even be alive to attend it and i put in so much work for it already and it was all for nothing

Just realised that the reason I can't easily write (or at all) in the evenings and/or when C is at preschool has less to do with my mental exhaustion (though that definitely plays a part), and more with the fact that I'm stuck in fucking wait mode. -_-

#with preschool it's bc she's not managing too well and i often get called after an hour to come pick her up again #so rn i've been in wait mode for 2 hours with 2 hours to go until actual pick up time and i just... can't get out of it #and in the evenings it's just waiting until she wakes up - when she was smaller she'd wake up every hour and i'd have to spend 20 mins #getting her to fall back asleep every time #it was so bad at one point that i just stayed in bed with her after 7 pm (between 6 months and about a year)#she hasn't done that in about a year now - not since we stopped nightly breastfeeding february last year #she still wakes up briefly around 2300 hrs but by then we're in bed ourselves #the wait mode however proves ... insistent #sigh

Just remembered it's been 11 years ago today since I went to my first concert and I miss going to gigs so much!!!!!!! How does time fly by so quickly!!! I literally remember everything I was doing that day!

#the gig was only £7 god to go back to those times!!!#I turned up 5 mins before doors opened and got to the barrier because I'm amazing #and then I met the band after and I was so happy haha #I wrote about that band for one of my essays in uni lmao #it's been like 7 years since I last saw them I hope they tour again soon!!!#last show I went to was in 2022 and it was fun but some freak kept grabbing my waist and someone tried to look up my skirt :') other shows #I've been to the vibes have been great but that last one was good but I hated being alone during it #but I rlly miss going to gigs!!!!!

the entirety of BFDI so far is 16:10:39 (hours, minutes, seconds). assuming the average sleep time is 8 hours, then that's a little more than typical waking hours

#wheucto #wheucto speaks #binging the entirety of BFDI in one sitting (from BFDI 1a to TPOT 6) is. possible. but barely #unless you like. stay up a long time_ later on this is just. going to be impossible #that is if you want to stay healthy sleep schedule-wise #and so far we only have 6 TPOT episodes. considering we have 35 (i think) contestants_ 2 contestants eliminated #if that stays true until. uhhhh. let's say an avg of 3 members per team for merge (or first merge)#3 * 6 = 18 #that's almost half of 35. so it would take 17 or 18 episodes to get there if. i'm right which is unlikely #now if 1 contestant is eliminated after 1st merge that would take 15 for final three 16 for final two #if the same stays true (until final four/two) then it'd be 7ish for final four/three or 8 for final two #17 + 7 + 1 for the smallest estimate. that's 25.#each episode is about 25 minutes (assuming trends stay the same) so it'd be 625 minutes more (or 10 hours 25 minutes)#that is_ assuming that 1. tpot doesn't get canceled 2. 1st merge will happen when teams have 3 contestants avg #we'll need to wait about... 3 to 5 years (if the show gets completed) to see how many episodes (and how long they are) there'll be #(since assuming each episode comes in a month + half times that by 25 for a little over 3 years as the lower estimate and 5 as just. a vibe #- based guess)#if 625 mins is correct then it'd be over 26 hours long also known as more than a day. so. binge-watching all of bfdi is probably impossible #- when it all gets completed (assuming there isnt ANOTHER season after tpot. and who knows?)

I have been told several times that my preparatory drawings are interesting. But they are small and I don't want to part with them: they are part of my archives. I always wanted to redo them larger but how can I convey the messy and dirty spirit of the drawing without making a hyperrealistic and soulless copy. Here is an attempt with the help of monotype and colored pencils. Since for monotype, you have to draw upside down so that it prints right side up, I didn't always understand the numbers I was printing. It produces weird things, sometimes incomprehensible but it keeps the spirit of the original. Monotype and colors pencils on paper, 16,1 x 11,7 inches / 24 x 29,7 cm
