I am going to again mention that Hikaru No Go cdrama adaptation Qi Hun is on youtube for free (iqiyi), really really good, and if you ever shipped the two rivals to partners then the cdrama decides well They Do Too and cranks it to Bad Buddy childhood rivals to desperately longing for each other to domestic and professional partners levels. (I'm not kidding, to spoil the ending out of context: they move in together with one bed, play partner go for future career, and end the show together happy). And yes, our ghost friend still absolutely decimated me emotionally. <3 ;-;

Anyway I just. While it's absolutely amazing as a show on simply the merit of quality, pacing, good storyline, solid story it's based on And solid adaptation that kept things true while putting it's own touches? It's also really really heartfelt if you like childhood enemies/friends to partners stories. And it feels as bl as Guardian or Word of Honor did, easily (so clearly shippers helped make the show lol).

- seems like literally no one in this series wants Shikama to succeed, not even his own son he "did everything for" which is hilarious imo

- also also also WE HAVE FINALLY EXITED ANCIENT FLASHBACK LAND now time for more recent flashbacks with Ferid and Guren (the og antagonists)!!!

- ^ to add to that, we're finally getting explanations to whatever tf Ferid and Guren did for like the entire goddamn series

- aaand since Ferid is back and important again that means Crowley might show up for like,,,, a panel or two maybe (I'm getting desperate). Plus we got Krul crumbs yk

Honestly I feel like what most "Stella antis" fail to consider is that she has much less control than they think. Like obviously she's in control of her planet and its residents... but that's it. That little planet is literally all she has. If Stella let all the residents be free and stopped tending to them she would literally lose her only purpose. Star witches get batted to their planets and are forced to start playing God, and they can't refuse because there's literally nothing else for them to do. And of course that doesn't mean that Stella is totally completely 100% in the right all the time and Lambchop isn't allowed to feel the way he feels, but it feels like some people just want Stella to be the "villain" unabashedly without even considering her side of things.

I guess it kinda stems from the fact that most of the in-depth star witch lore is on Arcade's social media and not in the game. I don't blame people for not knowing it, since I do believe that you shouldn't tuck away important lore in miscellaneous places and just expect people to know where to look. However there's plenty of media that has bits of lore scattered all over the place, and I honestly think if the star witch lore was more well-known (if it had been included in the game somehow OR if Arcade started more openly advertising the comic and other stuff) then people would be more understanding of Stella.

Also, even ignoring the way it changes fans' perception of Stella, that is genuinely an interesting concept. The fact that on her planet Stella is considered a God and is obviously much more powerful than everyone else, but in the grand scheme of things she's actually average and not that special at all. I think it's the idea that even the people that would be considered Godlike by our standards actually don't stand out among their own kind and in a lot of ways are more similar to us than we think.

About 2005/06' I believe 🤔 I got into my first fandom and started drawing story stuff around that time c: That's about 18/19 years which makes me............ Really reconsider why my stuff isn't More Polished hahahaha but then again I do this for the fun of it- for the love of it- not so much the improvement of it. It actually varies A LOT and depends on a lot of things too (my mood, motivation, the idea and characters involved, if I have a draft, etc)

But on a good day just a few minutes. On a bad day it can take days.
